Im wanting to be able to move the picture at different times and be able to rotate it at different times. for eg. I want a photo to zoom forward, sit there for a few seconds. then i want to rotate it to the left and zoom it back to the side. Im not able to successfully do this as it starts rotating from when I zoom forward. Im wondering how i do this. or if there is anything on you tube that will show that.

What you want to do is find the keyframe editor for the camera. Click on the camera in the layers tab...if you don't see it look under the windows menu. Motion is stupid and has almost all the useful windows turned off by default so you need to turn them all on to see what the heck you are doing. Look in the inspector and if you right click a key frame you have the choice to open the editor. This will allow you to do all your camera motion.

I want to download time lapse video from my plot watcher camera using the camera adapters from apple. Here is the video file information from the manufacturer.

The files are stored on the memory card, in the “\DCIM\100D6OPR\” folder.
The files are named according to date: YYMMDDAA.TLV, where YY = Year, MM = Month, DD = Date, and AA is a “letter code” that is incremented in a sequence (AA, AB, AC, etc.) when multiple files are created on the same date. An example of an actual file name would be 110408AA.TLV.
TLV files utilize the industry standard AVI format. The TLV files can be played in Windows Media Player , Apple QuickTime player, and most video editors if opened manually. In some cases, it may be necessary to rename the file to end in *.AVI.

Transfer the video to your computer & change the format if necessary. Then you can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Shutter locks when using the camera in AV mode.

EOS Rebel T3i - Shutter locks when using the camera in AV mode. It actually freezes up when in this mode...no it's not just allowing more light in through the shutter but rather locking in the open position. How can I resolve this? Thank you.

Does it do this in bright sunlight at the lowest f/number?
How do you know the shutter is locked open?
Does it do this on multiple lenses?
How long does the phenomenon last, and how do you stop it?
Do you end up with an image? Is it totally overexposed and motion blurred?
Positive it is not mirror lockup?

Lync client gets user photos by first querying the Address Book Web Query (ABWQ) service on the server, which is exposed through the Distribution List Expansion web service. The client receives
the image file and then copies it to the user's cache to avoid downloading the image each time it needs to be displayed. The attribute values returned from the query are also stored in the cached Address Book Service entry for the user. The Address Book Service
deletes all cached images every 24 hours, which means that it can take up to 24 hours for new user images to be updated in the cache on the server.
To troubleshoot your problem, please follow the steps below:
1. Navigate to
“X:\share\1-WebServices-1\ABfiles\000000000\000000000” folder. (ABS file share)
You should see some photo files in this folder as the following screenshot.
2. Delete all the files in this folder.
3. On test PC, delete local cache files.

4. Sign-in Lync with the test account.
5. Go back to the ABS file share, check if there is any Photo file in the folder.

Once pictures are moved from your camera to your iPad (using the camera connection kit), how do you get the photos off of the iPad? They do not show up in my photo stream or my iCloud. I am able to see any photo I took on the iPad using the iPad camera (in iTunes, photo stream, or when I open windows explorer and browse the iPad director), however I cannot see any photos transfered from my camera to the iPad. The camera connection kit must have put my photos in a directory I cannot get to and cannot sync.

Can I use the camera on my iPod Touch with FaceTime?

I have been trying to use the camera on my iPod Touch with FaceTime. Will it work? How do I sign in? When I click on Preferences the preferences window does not appear, and preferences in the drop down menu becomes greyed out. I am using an older Apple Cinema Display. Also Apple doesn't show the iSight camera for sale on the website.

Pairing an iPod touch to the computer to use the camera is not supported, but you can use any webcam that can be plugged into the computer.

I used to send photos from my Lumix Tz-40 camera directly to my iPad using the camera's WIFI. It was all working well until I installed IOS7. The connection no longer works. The camera still keeps the iPad in its connection history. The camera's wifi network still appears when I select a WiFi network from the iPad but the Wifi status icon never appears on the iPad. So the connection is never made.
Anyone got any ideas. I have already installed the latest version of Panasonic's Image App (1.7.1)

You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

I haven't tried videos on my camera yet. Do you use the Videos App to play them? I don't think they will play in the Photos App.
If yours are in a format that is not in Vazandrew's list, you may need to sync them to your computer and convert them to M4V or MP4 format. You can use a program like HandBrake to do the conversion. <HandBrake> Once converted, you can sync them back to the iPad and they should play.
This may not meet your needs, but the alternative appears to be getting a different camera. I don't know of another Video App that might work.

When using the camera, the odd time the screen will go purple and the phone would freeze?

I went to take a picture today, when I did the screen went purple and the phone froze for about 15 seconds. It worked fine for about 10 mins then I got another error "NO SIM CARD INSTALLED". Has anyone else had these issues, and what are  doing to sort them out!?

Thanks for the reply, I actually did that and the phone is working again but is that it or will it be a recurring issue? Plus the purple error when using the camera is very annoying, considering how much the phone is!

The camera connection kit can only be used to import photo/video files from a camera, SD card or USB flash drive. You can't import other types of files. You can't export any type of files using the camera connection kit.

What is the black spot on my screen I try to use the camera that faces me?

When i tried to use my camera on my iPod touch, a small black circle appears in the middle of the screen. It only happens when I use the camera that faces me, not the one on the back. I cleaned the screen thinking there was something on the lense but it is still there. I've only had it 3 days!

Unless you have a black circle on your nose, there is a problem with your iPod.
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If that doesn't work, call Apple. After all, the unit is brand new. 800-275-2273 in the U.S.A. and, I think, Canada.
