Motion not getting into motion! And the other apps are broken too!

Hi all -
I've just upgraded my system from Tiger to Leopard (no sense leaving it too much longer, I guess).
I did the right thing with a clean install on a new drive.
I brought settings/apps over from the old Tiger disk just to streamline things, then came the latest patches (via software update) and the problems started.
I've removed the apps according to the Apple KBase article (delete app from applications folder, related receipts, etc) and brought the apps back to life. The weird thing is that problems affect all apps in FCS2 except FCP.
So, I've taken the error logs from Console which I hope will give better debugging feedback. I truly welcome any ideas about what the problem is and how I go about fixing it!

HI I agree. I was burnt once like this using migration.app.
Suggest as previous poster, get all your data & prefs (boomarks & settings) of the DDM | filesystem & reinstalll the OSX and all the apps then renstate you own dat and prefs etc. It will be clean wo't take too much longer than what you have been doing.

Microphone works fine with Quictime on another mac, so I do know how to use it. The one where it is not working (A) had an external microphone and camera attached earlier, and indeed it does work with that external microphone, but not with the internal microphone selected; and (B) had RealPlayer installed previously.

Download Audio driver from here.
Intructions how to install it in Vista/Win7.
Extract this driver with Winrar.
Open Device manager and expand the Sound, video and game controllers section.
Right click on Either the High Definition Audio Device if you have the generic Microsoft drivers, or the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 if you have older Conexant drivers and choose "Update Driver Software..."
Click Browse my computer for driver software, then click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Click "Have Disk..." then Browse to the folder where the drivers were extracted .......\V64 for 64-bit Vista/Win7. Click OK.
Select one of the "Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221" models in the list, there will be multiple identical entries.
Click Next, and you're done.
I'm not sure which one from the list will work for You.

They gave me a brand new phone and I logged into all of my iCloud stuff, etc...
When I try to go onto the Internet it will say its loading, loading, loading, then give up. Pandora has given up after one song. All other apps that need to connect to Internet or networks load and load and then give up. I will double tap the one button and close out all the apps and it may work for a second but no more. Then I will turn the phone off and the same thing happens.

Also, I'd prefer to keep the same ID on both so I will keep access to my calendar/contacts/etc on both devices. Would I be able to share reminders and voice memos and the like as well? And how often would they update each other? If I edit a contact on the 5, and the 4 is in wifi, assuming they're both on my same ID, will the contact update on the 4?

Maybe the preferences file is corrupted. You should be able to find the Word preferences file in the folder:
your user name/Library/Preferences
Its name is com.microsoft.Word.plist
I suggest you drag this another folder and try Word again.
If that doesn't work then you might find clearing the cache files will fix the problem. You can do this manually but I never bother. Instead I use a program like Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner (shareware) or Onyx (free). These programs do lots of other maintenance jobs so it's worth having at least one of them.

The tabs in the phone app are responding too late

After installing IOS 8.0.2 update on my iphone 5, all of the tabs in the phone app (including scrolling the contacts or dialing numbers) are responding too late.
All other apps are working as fast as they work before the update.

When you are listening a song, press the album photo to activate shuffle and replay
