Motion: selecting & moving individual letters?

I'm trying to create a "bowling pin effect" in Motion. basically I want the letters to shoot out of the window, like if they were hit with a bowling ball. I wasn't really happy with the text behaviors in trying to achieve this effect. The closet one being "Blast Out"...
So I am trying to do it by hand, but I can't seem to manipulate individual letters.... I can only do this after adding a behavior.... How can I grab individual letters? Or is there a behavior that doesn't do anything (so I can just move each letter around?

I just answered my own question.
I right clicked on the object (in the movie animation) and in the pop up menu selected "Transform Glyphs".

Warping individual letters in text?

I have been playing with a friends illustrator cs4 and have a question....I have been using Photoshop for quite some time and making some logos etc.Now my question....in Photoshop you are able to warp individual parts of letters by using the lasso tool and warp to say bend the tail end of the letter w. is there a way to do this in illustrator, I have been playing with it for a couple of hours (newbie at illustrator) and cant seem to figure out how to do this... I separated the individual letters and selected one and even added more anchor points then tried ward or free transform but it did not seem to recognize the additional anchors and only warped fro each corner. Please help???? I also have tried to search tut's for this and was not successful.

Your question is better posted in the Illustrator general forum. You have posted in the scripting forum and this is not frequented by many… I think you may need to look at the mesh warp. Or as your type is vector based you can outline then move adjust the points however you wish…

There are apps that allow you to address sms messages to groups (such as Speed Names: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/speed-names-contacts-groups/id285124918?mt=8), but not iMessages. Perhaps this will change with a future iOS update.
The only point of having them at the moment is to allow you to limit the view to only contacts belonging to a group, so that you can more easily add the individual members of the group. But at the present time, you still have to add them individually.

You can sync multiple I tunes account from the same mac. You will need to authorize the account on the mac. Then you can share tunes and books across devices. just take you time when you connect and make sure you are setting up the sync criteria for the right device.
If you share apps, the originating itunes account goes with the app, so updating can get problematic, but it is pretty seamless with tunes and books.
You can also sync photos from the same master i photo system.
On each devise, you identify what you want to sync, and I tunes will remember them as seperate entries, so the next time you plug it, it will be starting from what you selected last time.

Can't rotate individual letters in a text shapes layer

So I created some text in After Effects and converted them to shape objects. I can do X, Y, and Z rotation on the whole phrase but not on the individual letters. Is there any way to fix this?

You will have to move each shape layer to a new layer so you can use the layer rather than the shape transform controls. Shape transforms are only X and Y. Unfortunately there is no automatic way to 'release to layers' as there is in Illustrator. You have to cut (ctrl/cmnd + x), create a new shape layer (sorry no keyboard shortcut), and paste (ctrl/alt + v).

After loading the new OS now my songs do not play correctly. Titles are wrong on songs and it just doesn't play certain songs in random play or even if you select them individually. What's up? Kind of frustrating!!!

I had the same issue. In fact I posted it yesterday, but didn't get any replies. I physically synched my phone to PC iTunes. on the PC, under the phone/music tab, I unchecked the synch music box and then the apply button to remove all of the music from my phone. Then once that synch finished, I went back and selected all music, and synch music and apply to put it back on to the phone. So far, I haven't had an issue again, but I also haven't listened very long. Hope this helps!

Where to find "Define field selection for Individual approval view" in ECC5

I'm trying to find where I can configure the columns for the managers approval view in the backend in ECC5.
Time sheet>Setting for all user interfaces>Approval procedure>Approve working times> Define field selection for Individual approval view, doesn't appear to exist.
Any help appreciated.

Try this:
IMG->Integration with Other mySAP.Com Components->Business Packages/Functional Packages->Manager Self-Service (mySAP ERP)->Working Time->Approve Working Time->Define Field Selection from Individual Approval View
Alternatively use SM34 and go to view cluster VC_PT_FIELD_SELECTION and enter the screen area as CTS.

Thanks for the reply - I think I've sorted it though and there isn't actually an issue.
The whole group wasn't receiving the NDR, only the group manager which I setup a few weeks prior. This is a new feature so it complies with certain RFC's, basically the group manager will recieive the NDR to let them know there is a problem.
Something to do with mass mailing and unsolicited mail.

Selecting multiple individual files

I saw something about this under the heading "moving multiple files" but got lost in the answer.
if i want to select several things to move or copy or what ever in a list--whether it is multiple files, multiple emails (for example to delete them at the same time) or even multiple tunes in ipod to move them:
if i hold down "shift" and then move down the list it will highlight them. the problem is I can't figure out how to select individual files or what ever that may not be right next to each other--
for example if I want to hit emails 1,3 and 5 and hold down shift. it will highlight email 1, but when I move it down to highlight #3, it will highlight email #2 as well.
the other thread mentioned something about hitting the "command" "shift" keys- or "command A" "shift" keys. which is the "command" or "command A" key or keys and do you hold them down the whole time while you are going down the list, or hit them sequentially and then go down the list. thanks!

to select multiple items not next to each other, command-click them. The command key is next to the space key (it has the little apple logo on it). Hope this helps.

Problem: Selecting 2 individual pages from a 28page doc to print as a a spread...

I have been using InDesign today to print off a 28page booklet. I have my document setup per screen grab 1 attached. As I need to print one sheet at a time (in order to turn over to print next spread), I need to select pages in particular that I want to print.
When going to print, I setup my printer to use A3 paper size, printing landscape. I want to select p.28&1 to print off as my cover. This however does not print off as 1 spread (even though I have selected to print as spreads). How this appears, is to print off 2 pages, 1 sheet with Page 28 and a blank, the other sheet with page 1 and a blank - see screen grab 2 attached. I am unsure how to print these side by side?
The reason I am printing this way as opposed to selecting 'Print booklet' as I need to rotate sheets of paper, re-load to tray and individually print off spreads in order to make up this booklet. Can anyone assist or advise how to sort this? It prints all other pages as paginate spreads if I select it, just not the first and last pages which are currently single panels in the ID doc.

Export to PDF and use Actobat's booklet function,
Use a script like Dave Saunders' basic booklet script (http://pdsassoc.com/downloads/Buildbooklet.zip) to impose, then export spreads to PDF and print from Acrobat, or one of Sterling Computing's older scripts: Steve Sterling legacy ID imposition scripts
Use an imposition plugin like IDImposer: Overview | IDImposer

Can i share existing albums of photos from my photo library with friends straight to icloud rather than having to create a new shared folder and then select the individual photos rather than a whole album??

1. i want to go into my photos on my iphone 6.
2. create a new folder in shared folders.
3. Add an entire album of photos from my photo library rather than having to select individual photos.
4. Share with friends.
Surely the reason i have saved certain photos into albums already from my mac means i like the selection already. So i would like to just share the whole album rather than having to select all the individual photos from the album. Ive tried but maybe im being a doofus and missing something??????

This is normal and is how Apple handles photos.
There are NOT duplicate photos.
Just as a song is in your itunes library and you can access that exact same song from a playlist, all photos synced to iphone are in the photo library and those exact same photos (NOT duplicates) can be accessed from the individual albums.
It is working exactly as it should.

iCloud only keeps photos in your photo stream for 30 days, but they will remain on your iPad (up to 1000 photos) until you delete them. I believe Apple TV will only display the photos that are still in your photo stream, not photos earlier than 30 days ago.
If the older photos are on your iPad, you could always open them on your iPad and use AirPlay to display them on your Apple TV.

Selecting againt individual number and a range of numbers

I have a users who inputs 1400 individual material numbers in the selection screen of a query and then 2 ranges of material numbers. The query bombs out with the following error, "<internal error> Receiving from the BW server failed BW server raised exception:System_Failure Do you want to see more information?"
My first thought is who in their right mind would insert 1400 individual material numbers. But the report runs fine with the 1400 individual numbers. It when you add a range to the selection with the individual numbers that a problem occurs.
Has anyone had this problem? Or does anyone have any advise on how to correct this problem?

I've narrowed it down even further. I can insert 100 materials with to selections. Everything is ok. I run it with 200 materials and the same 2 selections. NOT OK. Then I tried with only 1 of the selection ranges NOT OK. If I run just the 200 Material it's OK. I went to st22 and got the error:
An exception that could not be caught occurred.
What happened?
The exception 'CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE' was raised but was not caught at any stage in
the
call hierarchy.
Since exceptions represent error situations, and since the system could
not react adequately to this error, the current program, 'SAPLRRMS ', had to
be terminated.
Any Ideas?

While checking any table or report u cannot give conditions (more than this value).
If it mabe the case, down load the data from table MBEW - Field Name VERPR to excel file. then u apply conditions, like greater than this value.
U'll get the desired out put.
