Motion videos from captivate to .swf create visual noise - added lines

There are a lot of added lines, field box outlines, etc. added to all my video portions on the .swf output.
It's almost as if they are from a previous frame and just don't go away.  They're a little like a 'trail' mark from a previous frame in the video.
Is there any setting I can change to get this to stop or how can I clean these up?

Yes!  That did it - file size doesn't matter for me so this works.  Thank You

  • Is there any way to publish the .SWF(not MP4) from Captivate 7 while creating a Video Demo project?

    Hello all,
    I am upgradiing to Adobe Captivate 7. The previous version I used was Captivate 4.
    I found a new feature (Video demo) in the latest Captivate 7 which generates an MP4 video output when the project is published. The feature records exactly the way I want.
    Unfortunately, MP4 video does not help me. I require an SWF file to place in my LMS.
    Is there any way to get an SWF output using the same(Video Demo) feature?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Kartik

    Hi there,
    It is possible to publish a video demo project as .swf by adding the video demo slide in a blank project.
    1. Create a blank project, select the desired Project size.
    2. From the Blank project, click on 'Insert>Recording Slide' menu option.
    3. Press 'Ok' to the button.
    4. Click on the 'Video Demo' option from the recording dialog.
    5. Perform recording
    6. Once you are done with recording, delete the first blank slide present in the project
    7. Click on Publish, select the 'SWF output' option.
    Thanks,

  • How to embed F4V video from Captivate 5 on a Website?

    We are looking to embed an F4V video generated from Captivate 5 on our website. Are there any example code snippets or steps for loading the video embedded in a new browser window? If a launcher is needed, does Adobe have one?
    Thanks!
    Amanda

    Hi Amanda
    I believe in order to do this you will also need to acquire a presentation mechanism such as FlowPlayer.

  • Slow motion video from computer (backup) back to device?

    I keep getting idiotic bugs on my iPhone 6, and have been through all the iOS versions. So I have to keep doing resets with iTunes (deletes everything).
    I have quite a few slow motion videos on my phone. I back them up before the reset by simply copying everything in the DCIM subfolder to my computer. Question is....how to get the videos back on the phone after a reset, and register as slow motion? It seems impossible. Syncing a folder back with iTunes does not do this. Copying files back onto the camera roll folder is impossible. All I can ever do is get videos back but play in full speed. Thus rendering all slow motion captured useless.
    Have Apple completely messed this up?

    You have to email it to yourself to preserve the slow-motion effect.

  • Extract a video from thumbdrive that was created in idvd

    I copied a movie from a friends idvd to my thumb drive and I am not able to open and play it on my Macbook Pro. Is there a way to extract this video from idvd on the thumbdrive and save it in a different fomat?

    Hi Dharty
    Welcome to apple discussions. How did you copy it to the thumb drive? Did you save as a disc image first from the file menu in iDvd? If so, then you can use an app like Dvdxdv and bring that back into iMovie or iDvd as a QT file. Other third party apps can also do likewise. Mpegstream clip comes to mind also.

  • Extracting videos from Captivate file

    A while a go I was using one of the earlier versions of Captivate that was around in 2010. I made a long recording which resulted in 2GB worth of data packed into an application type file that Capt. can produce.
    The problem is that when ever I try and open this huge recording, the splash screen appears then soon results in: Out of memory while expanding stream.
    Is there any way I can EXTRACT the video material from this file?

    Hi There ,
    Do you still have the Adobe Captivate on you Computer from which you published the ouput.
    Can you tell me the Exact version of Adobe Captivate (Go to Help > About Adobe Captivate).
    Where have you saved your output file, Is it on some sort of network location?
    You have mentioned earlier that you Published it as a .exe , But if you Publish it as a .exe there is only one file that is created in the ouput folder.
    But there are other files as well in the same folder , so did you tried to extract the content of exe file from ay other tool.

  • Can't transfer a slo-mo video from iPhone 6 to PC

    I love my iPhone 6, but it has some quirks. Here is one of them.  The slo-mo feature is amazing at 240 frames per second.  However, it is not good if I can only view the show motion video on the phone itself.  I have tried iCloud, Verizon Cloud, and Google Drive.  I also have an app that directly transfers files via wi-fi.  None of these work.  They either show the video at normal speed or stutter through the slow motion portion of the video - probably due to the player not being able to deal with the 240 fps.  I have done some web searching and have learned a little.  As I understand it, the video file somehow informs the player (I've tried Windows Media, Quick Time, and Irfan View among others) that it should play the slow motion area at the recorded rate of 240 frames per second, yielding a normal playback appearance.  Some of the solutions offered have been to upload it to you tube and then download it from there, load it into a video editor and set it to play everything at 30 frames per second, and other Rube Goldberg methods.  I just want to transfer it from my iPhone and have it play correctly without any editing.  Is there a player that can do this?  Or, is there an easy way to get standard video players to play at a fixed speed and not switch to the fast speed for slo-mo?
    Is this the appropriate forum to ask this question?  My carrier is Verizon and I purchased the iPhone 6 through Verizon.  I will try posting this on the Apple forum.  I know that a lot of users are having this same problem.

    Weth,
    Thanks for suggesting truslomo to me.  It appears to be just what I need.  I am able to use it to convert my slow motion video and then transfer it to my PC.  It plays smoothly.  However, I'm puzzled about how it actually works.  I was able to produce a slow motion video from on I recorded at normal speed.  It must use fill-in frames between the 30 fps of the original video.  The playback is a little jerky.  Also, truslomo has 2 options:  a turtle (120 fps>) or a snail (240 fps?).  Only the turtle is available when converting normal video.  I need to take more videos (or write to the author) to understand that it is really using all the 240 fps to produce the final video.
    You also suggested uploading to You Tube.  That is not something I want to do.  You Tube is public and I like to do a lot of testing of different techniques.  Having to upload each video, then download it, and finally delete it from You Tube is too many steps for me.  Also, it's one more site I have to give my email address to.
    Thanks again for suggesting truslomo.  It's too bad that Apple has put that feature into the phone.

  • Controlling External Captivate 5 swf using flash AS3

    Hi,
    I have created a basic Flash AS3 interface in which I am trying to control the navigation (next slide / previous slide) of an external captivate 5 swf which I have added using a loader, but i cant work out the solution.
    My code is currently as follows:
    import flash.net.URLRequest;
    var Xpos: Number = 96
    var Ypos: Number = 94
    var my_loader:Loader = new Loader();
    my_loader.load(new URLRequest("content.swf"));
    my_loader.x = Xpos;
    my_loader.y = Ypos;
    addChild(my_loader);
    stop();
    nextBut.addEventListener(MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP,gotonextframe);
    function gotonextframe(event:MouseEvent){
    MovieClip(my_loader.content).rdcmndNextSlide();
    Any help would be much appreciated,
    thanks

    Thats perfect, thanks for the reply, much appreciated!
    I guess you have tried:
    rdcmndRewindAndStop
    Set to 1 to rewind and stop the project.

  • Converting wedding video from CD to USB

    Hi there,
    I don't know if anyone can help but we have our wedding video on cd. We would like to share with family but no one has disc drives (We have an iMac) . Is there an easy way to put onto a usb stick? Have tried just the drag and drop but that doesnt seem to wok.
    Many thanks in advance if you can help

    If the wedding video is on DVD it would have to be converted to a Quicktime movie; if you have permission to copy the video from the person who created the video, (the person who created it owns the copyright) you can use MPEGStreamclip.

  • Simple way to move videos from PE organizer to iTunes

    Using Photoshop E 6.0 & Premiere Elements 4.0 on XP with latest iTunes and IOS 4.0.1
    I use the PE integration to sync Photo Albums to my phone which I like, but that seems to only work with photos.  I also have a lot of short videos clips from our two iPhones and other devices.  I would like to be able to select videos from PE organizer (liek creating an Album) then import them into iTunes and sync them to my phone.  It appears that I need to manually find each file of the videos I want then import them into iTunes.  Not being able to use the organizer seems to defeat it's purpose for this usage.
    Also it seems that I can't add video clips to an Album.
    Any easy way to do this?
    Thanks

    - You can transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
    iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
    - For non-iTunes purchased music you need a third-party progam like one of those discussed here:
    Copy music from Ipod to new computer...: Apple Support Communities
    On the iPOo and the computer are those signed into the iTunes accunt that purchased the apps?
    One computer go to iTues>Store sign out of existing account and sign into the one you want.  For the iPod go to Settings>Store

  • SWF from Captivate in other video editors

    I have published some Captivate 2.0 movies to .swfs and they
    work fine and run in my browser just fine. However, another group
    needs them converted to a video format to put into another project.
    No problem, I say, since we have Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0
    which lists .swf as an import file format and .wmv and/or mpeg as
    an export file format.
    The problem is that when I bring the Captivate swfs into PE
    it sees them as 1 second/x# of frames. I can download a random swf
    from the Internet and PE reads it just fine, XXXseconds/XXX# of
    frames.
    I have tried tinkering with just about every setting in
    Captivate and still can't get it to work. I've also tried just a
    swf to .avi converted which worked fine, the .avi plays just fine,
    but when I bring that .avi into an editor like PE it's one second
    long again.
    Help!

    I can't believe I didn't notice before that Captivate can't
    output to a
    movie format.
    I'd download a trial version of Camtasia, open the SWF you
    created with
    Captivate, and use Camtasia to record it - then output to
    AVI.
    I think many conversion utilities expect Flash documents to
    be 'linear'.
    Captivate has movie clips in movie clips and is not a linear
    file...so
    these conversion utilities get confused.
    Essentially, I think you'll need to record the original SWFs
    playback
    with some other software then publish as a movie. There are
    lots of SWF
    to AVI conversion utilities out there but I dunno how well
    any will work
    with Captivate-generated SWFs.

  • Creating training videos from screen captures?

    Hello folks,
    Is it possible to create interactive videos from a series of screen captures. I understand the preferred method is to use Captivate to record a session, however, all my software walk throughs are created in a VM and installing Captivate inside a VM is not always practical.
    In the past, when I worked with RWD uPerform, I captured static screens using a really good/free tool called Gadwin screen capture. Once completed, I could add these screens into RWD, select clickable areas and RWD would do the rest by simulating clicks, motions, etc.
    Is this possible in Captivate?
    Thus far, my experience with Captivate involved doing direct recordings, in a manner similar to Camtasia.
    Thank you.

    Hi there
    If you are seeking a smaller footprint (read mobile or possibly portable) version of Captivate, please request same using the Wish Form. Adobe development does pay attention to these. If enough folks request something or report a certain issue, it gains a higher priority on the list of features or fixes.

  • Video playback issues in Captivate 6 swf when viewed in testing environment

    I've created a training video from a company template in Captivate 6 and produced a swf file. It plays from my local machine and has been tested by others from our SharePoint portal. I uploaded the project through to our Team Foundation Server in order for it to be included and pushed to our testing environment. However, when viewed, no content populates; just a blank white screen.
    Has anyone ever come across this or perhaps know a workaround?
    Any and all help would greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks-

    If your Team Foundation server is a LAN server and not a web server then your issue is most likely to be Flash Global Security.
