MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone with Digital FM Transmitter

Hi,
Has anyone tried this product yet with their iPhone? Does anyone have any other products like this one they recommend?
Thanks, Jerry

Yes, it works but I'm finding that it doesn't work as it did with my Razr. The voice commands don't work unless I need to fix something on my iphone to get it to work. But it's very very clear for incoming calls.

Is the MOTOROLA® Roadster 2 Universal Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone compatible with the Iphone?

Roadster 2 does NOT work well with the iPhone 5  s, has to be unlocked for Seri to work. An older Motorola blue tooth device the T 325 does work fine, speaker is not as great as the Roadster. It is cheaper and simpler. Verizon, who sold me the iPhone and Roadster does not seem to know this, I'll be returning the Roadster ASAP. This was the second unit Verizon sold me, the first only announced the number calling and could not access my contacts.

  • Streaming bluetooth through car stereo with uconnect

I have iphone paired and can make calls but sometimes when it streams music through the bluetooth function it skips or plays really fast. Any suggestions?

Thanks Deggie... no biggie, just trying to clean up cords. I recommend this head unit if anyone is looking... I wired it for hands free calling in my car and it works flawlessly. Much better than my BT headset. And the music playback through wired connection is great because I can choose to control it through the stereo, or through the phone.

  • Best in-car speakerphone for iPhone

Can anyone tell me what is the very best Bluetooth in-car speakerphone available?  Jabra Journey is awful to access Siri and breaks up the reception, and Parrot Minikit Neo is tinny sounding for both parties on iPhone 5.  So what in-car speaker system is truly giving some decent fidelity for both parties during a phone conversation?  Please share your experiences with us.
    Thanks!

As you don't mention the rather important info on where you are in the world (this is a WW forum )
This is a favourite in UK which I know many have fitted in Z4s

This will give you an idea iof what is available f you are somewhere else
There are other makes but I know Z4 owners who are very happy with this type of set up

  • After installing ios7 on my iphone 4, bluetooth is not pairing with my bluetooth car speaker.  I have restored settings.  Any tips?

Can anyone help/  After installing ios7 on the iphone 4, I cannot connect bluetooth on the phone with my bluetooth car speaker.  It worked before ios7.  I have restored my phone but it is still not working.

Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. This will not affect data. Remove the car speakers from the phone under Bluetooth, and remove the phone from the car stereo. After that place both devices back into pairing mode and reconnect.

  • Bluetooth adapter with digital input

I'm interested to purchase a bose solo tv speaker together with a bluetooth adapter so that i can play music from my laptop using the bose speakers. Do you have any bluetooth adapters that I can plug into the digital input of the bose speakers instead of the RCA input so that I can enjoy better sound quality?

If i were still like to look for a blue tooth adapter with digital input, are there any out there?
Rocketfish makes one with digital but there are issues with it's range, Belkin and Harmon Kardon make them, but they're analog only. All of them are in the same $50.00 price range.
But the connectivity doesn't matter, you will not be able to tell the difference in audio fidelity between analog or digital using bluetooth.
Bluetooth simply doesn't have the bandwidth to carry any type of audio that needs a higher bandwidth digital connection. Digital Stereo maxes out at 1.41 Mbps, Bluetooth A2DP which is the best option for audio right now, maxes out at 768kbps.
There's a nice and consice article here that briefly goes over the technical details:

  • I recently purchased a car stereo with Bluetooth capability. I paired my iPhone 4S with it and it wasn't working properly. I went into forget this device. Then found out it was something they did when they installed it. Now it won't pair again. Help

I recently purchased a new car stereo with Bluetooth capability. I paired my phone with the stereo and it wasn't working correctly, did forget this device. Found out it was a problem with the radio. Now it's fixed and my phone won't pair with it again. How can I pair it again?

You will need to put the car stereo back into discovery/pairing mode. That may mean you removing the initial pairing of the device. See the user guide for the radio on how to put the device into discovery/pairing mode, and if necessary, how to remove the original pairing. help. I have a Google Hangout in 40mins and my sound seems to have vanished. I went to Sys Prefs and it came up with Digital Out....and the Internal Speakers option is no longer there. How do I reboot, or fix this please?

There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Some may not apply to your model. Back up all data before making any changes.
    1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
    2. Make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
    3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
    4. Other third-party software that has been reported to interfere with sound output includes "Boom" and "Samsung Kies." If applicable, uninstall according to the developer's instructions (not by dragging something to the Trash.)
    5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
    6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select Built-in Output from the list on the left. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them.
    7. If a red light is visible in the audio-out port when sound should be playing, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. If not, the machine needs to be serviced. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by the warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
    8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
    9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
    10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
    11. Reset the NVRAM.
    12. Reset the SMC.
    13. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Preferences/Audio
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Recreate your settings in the Sound preference pane.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    14. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
    15. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

  • Since updating to iOS 5, my bluetooth and signal have been destroyed. Before the update, the phone worked perfectly, connecting to my bluetooth in car for both calls and music. Reception was also perfect. Now, my bluetooth doesnt work, and I cant be heard

Since I updated my iphone 4 software from 4.3.3/4.3.5 - bought brand new only 2 weeks before the update came out - to iOS 5, my bluetooth no longer works in me ford fiesta and when I ring people, they literally can not hear a word I say. It has nothing to do with poor signal areas as they are the same areas I was in with the same phone before the software update! i have even sent for a replacement phone and received a reconditioned phone (after paying excess charge - JOKE!) and the same problem occured when I updated again. I cannot believe there is no downgrade as this iOS 5 is a shambles and to be honest, I see very little difference in terms of apps and photos so i have no idea why apple are recommending this upgrade!
Is there anything I can do to improve the fact that nobody can hear me on the phone when I speak?!! Or are apple going to insist I keep a phone that is of no use to me if I can't actually use it as a PHONE!
    Please please help!

    Hi,
Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all??

  • Bluetooth no longer pairs with Acura TSX

I have had an Acura TSX since September 2012.  The bluetooth on my iphone paired fine, and continued to work okay after I got the iphone 5 in October.  However, a few months or so ago, it randomly "unpaired" from the phone.  I was able to "forget the device" and repair it.  Unfortunately, it unpaired again this week, and after telling the phone to forget the device again, the car can no longer find any bluetooth enabled devices when I try to pair it.  Sometimes, the "handsfree" link will come up and ask me to pair, but when I put in the pin, the car will say that it couldn't find a bluetooth.  I've turned the phone on and off, and the bluetooth on and off, and nothing happens.  No idea if this is an issue with my car or with my phone.  Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Unpair the car from the iPhone (Settings -> General -> Bluetooth) and unpair the iPhone from the car (check your owner's manual).
Typically you just have to unpair and re-pair the iPhone with the car and you're back up and running.

  • External Speakerphone with MacBook Pro?

    Hi All,
I'm really liking iChat with my Macbook Pro with internal iSight. But, the audio is good, but not good enough for serious applications and I don't really want to use a headset. I'd like to get more audio volume and have a more sensitive microphone, handsfree.
Is there such a beast as an external "speakerphone" mic/speaker combo that could be used to sit on the desk either wired or bluetooth that can interface with iChat?
    Thanks,
    Paul

I own a mac mini that stays connected to the 52" LCD 120hz in my living room. The image is perfect, and fits just fine. I did a mini-display port to dvi and got a monster cable adapter for dvi to hdmi which too it to my tv. I did have to go into the tv and set the tv to overscan I think on the image to make it fit and you will have to adjust the resolution on the computer. I can say the colors are darker on the tv and this is just due to the nature of the screen size. Newer LED tvs may be better, but mine is only 1 1/2 years old.
For an external display, just go to the educators link, select your college and you get $100 off. My wife is an educator and I am back in college so it's no hassle. Or they just ask for an ID. I own 2 24" ACD and they are nice. I do photography and a screen calibration is a must. Once done you'll be happy. And docking with the laptop is handy.

  • IPhone music playback breaks after making a call - Motorokr t505

    Hi,
My Motorokr t505 works great with the iPhone for making calls and music playback.
This all works well with voice control.
Except, there's a bug in the iPhone.
If I am playing music, then make a phone call by pressing the Motorokr phone button, after the call is complete, the music playback does not resume reliably.
Sometimes, it seems to be going fast and playing fractions of a second of music. Other times, it just doesn't seem to be doing anything.
The solution is to switch off the Motorokr and start playing music again.
Note, that if I receive a call while playing music, the whole system works perfectly - the music resumes correctly after the call has finished.
Any feedback? How do I tell Apple so they can work on this problem for the next firmware release.
    regards,
    RR

  • Error 80 when using bluetooth on car radio

error 80 when using bluetooth on pioneer car radio with my iphone 4 and 5

me too...did some digging on the internet and appears Error -80 means the car deck is expecting some bluetooth protocols that your iPhones wont give out.  mine was intermittent for last couple years (deck is 12 years old) as of last night i just get error -80 everytime i try to dial out or recieve a call via bluetooth. this issue was intermittent with an iPhone 3G, 4, 4S, 5 and now my current 5S.  im blaming Pioneer not Apple for this
I ended up buying a new deck for my car...gets installed tomorrow.

This sounds like a price match question. Without knowing all the details, it sounds like a yes for the Westinghouse, but I would encourage you to read the price match policy link here:

  • Which vehicles does iOS in the car work with?

Within the next few years, I will probably have a new car and an up-to-date iphone, and I'm looking at iOS 7, I would like to know which cars are compatible with iOS in the car.

Assuming standard Bluetooth, any car with Sync, or other media center integration systems.
Just note, Sync on the Ford Escape 2013 is terrible, hard to use, and way too clunky to navigaet.
Or you can look at 3rd party Bluetooth adapters like Belkin or Homespot.
I personally put in a Homespot in my car, it's awesome to not need wires for music now.
