Motorola RAZR v3i - Bluetooth connection fixed in 10.4.7 ???

I bought a Motorola v3i (firmware version R479G08.B4.34R) some weeks ago. I was not able to create a connection via bluetooth with my Powerbook (Mac OS X 10.4.6). After some days I gave the v3i back to the dealer, because it was useless for me. Does someone know if the bluetooth connection is fixed in Mac OS X 10.4.7 ??? Please let me know your v3i firmware version in your answer. Thanks!

I have a V3i with the exact same firmware, and prior to the 10.4.7 update could only pair my phone via bluetooth but not use any services. Since the update I can sync, file transfer and connect to the internet all via bluetooth. Seems someone has sorted something out somewhere. Hope this helps.

  • HT6572 Bluetooth connectivity fixed in 10.10.1?

Wondering if Bluetooth connectivity and performance is fixed in OS X Yosemite 10.10.1? I still have issues before updating that include my apple keyboard + magic Trackpad randomly disconnecting, input lag, and disappearing profiles in the bluetooth preference pane.
My machine is a late 2012 Macbook Pro Retina 15". I use it in clamshell mode connected to an external display via a thunderbolt to HDMI adapter.
I occasionally run the machine open in this configuration, with the power cable detached in order to power cycle the battery, as I've heard it is bad to leave the power cable always connected. The Bluetooth issues are more prevalent when operating on battery power for the macbook pro.

I'm having issues now after the update with my Magic mouse that I never experienced before. It seems if now when I put my laptop to sleep (ex. close lid or just timeout) when I re-open or start my laptop I have no connection to the paired mouse. The little green light on the bottom of the mouse blinks twice real fast.
Now the only way I can restore mouse function is to remove it from the bluetooth profile, wait til it sees it when searching and re-pair the mouse.
This is very annoying and frustrating as sometimes it will not find the mouse when searching for bluetooth devices until I restart my computer. I really hope they fix this soon as it occurs everyday now.

  • Soundlink Bluetooth Connection Fix Found

For all you Soundlink owners who can't pair with your iphone Bose has released a software update. You'll have to connect your Soundlink via usb to your computer and got to site owners.bose.com/soundlinkmobile and then visit Bose system update center. I just went through the process and works great. PS if you can't get to a comp you can hold down the bluetooth button on the Soundlink 10 sec and then the mute button for 10 secs then you should be able to pair. Cheers PSS iPad 1 will not pair with soundlink - doesn't have firmware if you're trying...

FYI. I have a iPad I and I was able to get it to pair with the soundlink.  I did have to hold the Bluetooth button down until it paired.   One issue is I now have to do that everytime I want to switch between my I phone and iPad.

  • ISync not syncing all contacts to Moto Razr V3i

    Hi,
I have a Motorola Razr V3i that I'd like to sync with my Mac address book. I'm running Leopard 10.5.1. I keep the Address Book as the reference for all my contacts. When I connect my Razr to the Mac, I want to replace all the contacts on the phone with the entries in the Address Book. I have set options in iSync to sync all contacts with phone numbers. I am facing two problems with this:
    1) During the sync, the application tries to replace data on my Mac with data from the phone. Is there an option that I can set by which the information on the Mac is never overwritten by the information from the phone? I want information to go one way all time - from my Mac to the phone.
    2) After the sync, I discovered that not all the contacts had been imported. A few random contacts are not transferred from the Mac to the phone. I thought that this might have something to do with the fact that the phone used to be synced to my earlier install of Tiger. So I did a "master clear" and a "master reset" on the phone. But even after doing that, some of the contacts (different ones this time) were not synced. And due to the problem described in #1, iSync tried to replace all my existing contacts on the Mac with blank information on the phone.
What's the point of iSync if I have to check whether all contacts have been imported, and manually enter the ones left out. I checked for a software update on the phone, but there was none available.
I'd be happy to provide additional information to get this problem fixed.
    Thanks,
    Saurabh

I am having the same problem with Leopard 10.5.1 Isync and my razor V3 from Cingular. In addition the contacts in my address book are duplicated after syncing with my phone. Basically after using Isync my address book gets doubled and cluttered with names and no phone numbers, the data gets completly screwed up. Whats going on?

  • Razr V3i Contacts to Adress Book Help!

I was wondering if there was a way to get my contacts from my Motorola Razr V3i to my adress book, if anyone could help that would be great!!
    Thanks

Hi. One way to get contacts onto your computer is through Bitpim. It works with bluetooth and you can sync them that way. Or you can, on your phone, go to "bluetooth" and select your computer's bluetooth name. CHoose options, and move down to "send name card." You can select the contacts you want to send. I believe you can only send a few at a time. Hope it helps.

  • 50 Song Limits (ROKR, RAZR V3i and SLVR)

I have an unlocked V3i that I put my AT&T sim card in from my work phone. THe V3i is terrific but for the fifty song limit. As suggested on other websites, I went to: itmss://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/upgradePhone.
No luck. Does anyone know if the above link works in other countries? If so, would switching "select your country" from within iTunes make the update work?
Any other fixes or mods out there?
Powerbook G4 1.67 15" (w/ Verizon evdo card); iMac G5, Airport Extreme and two expresses   Mac OS X (10.4.5)

Please stop. It is indeed available in Australia as well as other countries. As I said before, it is right on Motorola's web-site. Don't believe me? Look for yourself: http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/product/details/0,,130,00.html
    Quote from site:
** The Motorola RAZR V3i is available with iTunes in ONLY the following markets:
Australia, NZ, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Turkey, South Africa, Rest of Africa, North Africa, Israel, Thailand, Middle East
Additional markets may be added at a later date. Please check with your local Motorola representative for additional information.
Now, my question still stands: Has anyone else out there gotten an unlocked Motorola phone with iTunes from overseas and figured out a way to raise the 50 song limit to 100? Has anyone successfully used the link provided above in my original post either by switching your country within iTunes or by another means?
Thanks in advance to anyone with any experience with this.

  • Bluetooth connection notification sound

Does anyone know how to turn off the notification sound which plays when the Razr Maxx bluetooth connects with a car system? It is extremely annoying to have this play every time you get in the car and start it especially if you are running errands and make several stops.

Most notifications that come from an app (texts, emails, etc.) can be shut off individually, through that app.  The bluetooth connection notification, however, AFAIK cannot.  The only place it would make sense to be would be, from your homescreen, is menu>settings>wireless & networks>bluetooth settings.  There is also an advanced bluetooth settings on this screen, but my phone (HTC Rezound) does not have an option to turn off that sound in either of these.

  • Possible fix for car unit Bluetooth connectivity problems (it fixed mine)

Ok, I understand this only fixed my particular problem, so it may not work with every Bluetooth head unit.
I have a Pioneer deh-p7000bt and it worked beautifully with my iPhone 3GS.
Once I got my iPhone 4 I restored it from a backup of my 3GS. I had continual problems. I synced it and it would disconnect within minutes. This would happen everyday so I just gave up.
Yesterday I was playing around with my head unit. I DELETED any previously synced phones from my head unit. I also told my iPhone to forget my head unit. After deleting any traces of my older iPhone and new iPhone, I resynced my iPhone 4.
This time it stayed connected and reconnected automatically even after rebooting and restarting my car. Problem solved.
It may have something to do with the head unit being confused about the iPhone hardware.... Possibly from restoring it from a backup of the previous phone you had already synced to the unit.
Try this, it worked for me. Maybe it won't work for you.
    Thanks,
    John

I too have had problems with Bluetooth connectivity, with my wife's IPhone 5C, since updating to IOS 8 and now 8.02.  I have a 2013 Honda Accord with factory updated firmware.  Everything worked flawlessly before the IPhone update, but now the phone will connect to the car but I get error messages saying the contact list cannot be imported. I deleted everything, started over, still does not work.  I also have a Motorola Moto X with the latest Android build and Bluetooth connects automatically, works flawlessly and the contact list always imports when I enter the car, so it is definitely not a problem with the car's system.  I thought Apple products were superior to all else... I will be switching my wife to an Android phone if Apple continues to ignore the problem.  She needs this to work for safety reasons, since she works out of the car.

Just got a new DROID RAZR M this weekend.  It will pair successfully with our 2012 HONDA CRV using bluetooth.  However, it few minutes later it will disconnect, then reconnect again, then disconnect again a few minutes later, then reconnect etc....  Never had this problem with the LG phone that it replaced.

yes I have had this same problem with my Razr M & Tiguan since I got the phone back in Sept. I have called about it, Volkswagen has replaced the bluetooth module for me.. nothing. I never had this problem with my Droid2 either. There's other android/razr/droid forums too where people having the same problem wit this model phone, and different cars. The latest Jelly Bean update didn't fix it. Check it out. Good luck, and let me know if you figure anything out..

  • Want to connect Motorola Razr to Equium A100

Can anyone help?, I want to connect my Toshiba Equium A100 to the internevia bluetooth and my Motorola Razr but cannot find any drivers etc, where can I get these?

    Hello Robert
First of all you must be sure if your notebook has BT or not. Every notebook with BT has a BT label at the bottom site. Check it at first. Later we can continue discussion how to connect your mobile phone with Equium A100.

  • Adobe Connect Mobile issues on Motorola RAZR

While trying your Adobe® Connect™ Mobile application (version 1.7.5) on one of our latest Android-powered handsets--the Motorola RAZR (XT910)--we encountered a couple of issues that we thought you should know about. The text on the "whiteboard" will appear distorted when sharing between a PC and the handset, making it difficult to read.
    Steps to reproduce:
Launch the application client on both a PC and the device
Login with a username and password on the PC and as a guest on the device
Select "Collaboration" on the PC client
Select the "T" on the whiteboard for text
Select anywhere on the whiteboard and begin typing a note. Notice that when it shows up on the device the font can be difficult to read.
We hope that this feedback is useful to you in making your application the best it can be on the widest possible range of Android devices. Device specifications for the Motorola RAZR device can be found at http://developer.motorola.com/products/razr-xt910. I believe it doe run on AIR.
What do you mean by native extensions? Do you mean objects you can load in the Share pod and have it work in the mobile app?
I know that you can load PPT(X), FLV, JPG, PNG, and MP3 file and they should display properly in the mobile app. MP4, F4V, and PDF may also work, but I'm not 100% sure on those.
I do know that SWF content does not currently work in the mobile app.

  • New OS to Fix Bluetooth Connectivity?

Is there a new OS that will fix the Bluetooth Connectivity issue?

There is no "bluetooth connectivity issue". Get out the manual for your car. If it was previously paired, delete the pairing from both the car and the phone and re-boot both. Then, re-pair them.
Try pairing the phone with another hands free device. If that works, and you still can't pair it with the car, go see your dealer.

  • Bluetooth not recognizing Motorola RAZR V3!!!  What should I do????

I have a Motorola RAZR V3 and my Intel Mac Mini won't recognize it!! It recognized it once and now it won't detect it. When I choose the send file option it shows my phone, but when I click send, it says "Unable to validate device". The bluetooth symbol on my RAZR stays on until I choose the "Send File" or "Set up Bluetooth Device" option, and then it goes off. I tried updating the firmware to version 1.2, but the updater said that there wasn't a Bluetooth module installed, when there is default with the computer.
