Motorola S9-HD audio controls don't work with 3GS?

I'm the recent and proud owner of a 3GS and Motorola S9-HD headset. The headset easily pairs with the phone and plays music flawlessly (sounds awesome too). Only catch is that the only controls that work on the headset are the volume. The audio controls don't work at all.
Anyone know of a work around for this or if I'm just out of luck...

Word is the OS3.O for iPhone does not support full implementation of music controls via Bluetooth. Not a defect of your headset. As we all know, Apple has been dismal at implementing Bluetooth on its devices. However, word is that OS3.1 update for iPhone will fix this. I have both the Motorola S9-HD headset and the Motorola S805. Neither has full control with my iPhone 3GS using the current OS.

I've done everything from blowing in the headphone jack to cleaning it with an q-tip and restoring the iphone. i know my ear buds work since the volume up and down and the play and pause controlls all work with my ipod touch but when i try using it with my iphone the controls still don't work. i'm about to go over to apple and get this replaced. the iphone is pretty much new too. i might've gotten some water inside it when i was putting on my screen protector but it wasnt that much.

Count me in. I have the "Backup ccould not be completed" error since november.
Yesterday it worked once right after I restored my iPad while iTunes transfered all the data back to my iPad. So it is definitely not a problem on the iCloud side but on the iPad's Apps side.
My guess is that it might be just one app's data which blocks iOS from backing up correctly...
Any ideas?

Another question: does anyone know how audio linked to the glossary terms can be easily repeated? Currently, it's not possible to click on the term a second time to repeat the audio - I have to click another term, then return to the one I want to repeat (audio)

Unfortunately Susan this appears to be a limitation of the standard Glossary widget. I have a client that wanted the exact same feature, click the term and hear the word again. I had considered using other Glossary widgets that are available but all of them seem to have one short coming or another. One option I considered was creating a small flash app/button (play audio) that contained the audio file and could be placed in the description like an image but this became to cumbersome for the number of terms we had to use and opened up all other issues and I can't even remember if importing a flash element is a feature of the standard Glossary or and third party.
I hope that someone else has some other insights for you.

Premiere Pro: Audio Keyframes don't work with reversed Audio?!

Hello everybody.
Lately I reversed some Footage and its Audio with Premiere Pro (CC 2014), but when I then tried to keyframe the audiolevel for a fade in, Premiere showed a red horizontal line on the audio clip (between left and right channel) that directly disappeared after it auto-rendered the clip. Next, the keyframes visually appeared as placed, but the audio played was untouched! I tried to keyframe some unreversed audio in the same sequence and this did work. Does it have to do with the reversed audio? And will it get fixed in a future update???

Updated to iOS 7 and now car controls don't work

I recently updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7, and now it no longer works properly with my vw golf sound system. I used to be able to plug it in and control it through the touch screen in my car, but now everything is jumbled and the controls don't work. Please help!

It is the update. I am having the same problem with my Nissan and all my updated apple products. It is awful. I wish I did not update the software.

Audio files don't work in FCE

I have clips that I want to use in Final Cut Express that have audio in 48 KHz, 16-bit integer mode.
The FCE manual says "16-bit audio: For video capture and output, 16-bit audio is almost always used"
When I import the clips into FCE and place them in my sequence, I get the dreaded red line over the audio, and I can't seem to "render," so essentially, my clips have no sound.
The default audio settings for my sequence are 48 KHz, 32-bit floating point, about which the FCE manual says "Final Cut Express HD mixes the audio in your program internally at 32-bit, floating-point resolution even if your source audio is 16-bit. The result is that all audio calculations are made with higher precision, maximizing the quality of your program’s audio."
But since my audio files don't work in FCE, something is not right, and I don't know how to change it. The only way to change sequence settings is to load presets, none of which give me contol over the audio settings at this level. How do I get my audio files to work?

Ok, so I opened up one of the orignal clips in QT, and clicked on "Export -> Quicktime movie." Under settings, I made sure the compression was DV/DVCPRO NTSC, and the audio was set to 48 KHz, 32-bit floating point. And exported. And then imported the clip into FCE, and it worked! (Even my teacher in my Final Cut class couldn't answer this one for me).
Question is, if all cameras record at 16-bit interger (as the FCE manual says) and FCE requires 32-bit floating point (as it seems to), why doesn't it do the conversion automatically (as the manual suggests, but does seem to actually do)? I guess I don't really need this question answered, since I now have a fix, but I still need to use QT to convert every clip before I can use them in FCE, which is still a pain.

A/V Controls Don't Work...? Need Help With Adjustments...

I've recorded a couple of short video clips on my digital stills camera but once imported to my powerbook they are quite dark.
i've called up the QT A/V controls window and adjusted the brightness / contrast but it doesnt seem to be affecting the movie at all.
i've tried to use the filters within the 'export' dialogue as well - to no avail.
Is there something i'm doing wrong? any help / advice much appreciated.

Sounds like you are recording in a format not compatible as I am pretty sure those controls work with a PB. Don't have mine handy to check but they should, they require core video support which you should have. But if they are AVI or MPEG the controls don't work.

Ipad Keyboard volume controls don't work?

When I have headphones plugged in to the jack on the keyboard the volume controls don't work. If I plug them in to the jack on the Ipad then the volume controls work. Known bug? Defective unit?

External microphones don't work with audio input

Tell me its not true that an ordinary mic won't work with the audio input....I have 2 mics which I know to work mini jack [tried both stereo and mono] and zip! nothing....what is wrong with this equation
any ideas from the floor? [do I really have to go and buy another usb headset or an iMic to resolve this??

I have been unable to get the microphone input with a Viewsonic 22" monitor with webcam to work with either iChat or iVisit with my Mac Pro. There have been other reports on the web about newer versions of the OS 10 inactivating the audio input for several programs. Is this why the microphone does not work or is it true that the audio input does not act as one? If the audio input does not work with an external microphone, what is it for?

I think i have the same problem that most the Mac users have had after upgrade from Mavericks to Yosemite (10.10.3) and are connected to internet by wifi.
This new version don´t work fine, or in any way, with any internet browser (Safari, Mozilla, Crome...) when the connection it´s by WiFi. In fact i´m writing this with a ethernet cat 5e connection.
I read in other thread that version 10.10.3 solved this problem but at least in my case it's not true.
And like other users as i read, in some normal actions, like open "System Preferences", appears the wheel round and round during two o three seconds, when with Maverick don´t happens. Probably this last problem it´s a question of RAM memory, but nothing in the upgrade said that you need more that 8 GB to work with normality like before.

Ho comprato un adattatore originale Apple "lighitning to 30 pin adapter" per poter usare i mei vecchi cavi dell'iPhone4 con il nuovo iPhone5.
Se collego l'adattatore (con il vecchio cavo delliPhone4) direttamente all'iPhone5 , tutto funziona.
Ma se collego l'adattatore (con il vecchio cavo delliPhone4) all'iPhone5 tramite la "base dock" , l'adattatore non viene riconosciuto e non funziona.
Pensando che l'adattatore fosse rotto, ho riprovato con altri identici adattatori originali, ma il risultatato è lo stesso.
Quindi penso che potrebbe essere un errore di progettazione della base dock che supporta unicamente la connessione diretta tramite un cavo lighning e non supporta la connessione se in mezzo c'è l'adattatore !!
