Motorola S9 Headset

I also purchased theS9 and it works fine with the calls but the ipod does not connect. When will you have an A2DP download available and why was it not already installed on the iphone?

We are iphone users just like you. There is no need to shout (all caps).
The iphone does not include the bluetooth protocol required to listen to music via bluetooth.
The iphone's bluetooth is for handsfree and telephone headsets only.

  • Motorola Bluetooth Headset H500 Soft Touch Black, lost in confusion.

Hi, I have a friend who gave me his old Motorola Bluetooth Headset H500 Soft Touch Black unfortunately he doesn't have any of the manuals or software that came with it because it was lost somewhere deep in piles of junk in his garage...
Anyways I'm wondering if there is a way to get it to be recognized with my MacBook. I believe he formerly used it on his cell phone. When I have my Mac search for Bluetooth devices however it doesn't find any.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

  • Motorola S9 headset silenced by 10.5.2

Since I upgraded to 10.5.2 my Motorola S9 headset has gone silent. The Bluetooth window claims the connection is up and indeed the Sound Prefs panel says it is playing music through the headphones. The computer speakers are silent, but so are the headphones. Has something happened to the A2DP implementation (which only arrived in 10.5)? Has anyone else suffered problems with Motorola or any other Bluetooth headphones since 10.5.2? Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think I have solved the problem with a small utility called Softick Audio Gateway (http://www.softick.com/macosx/). It was designed for 10.4 Tiger but works with 10.5. Anyone with Bluetooth music streaming problems should give it a try.

  • Help pairing Motorola H700 Headset

I've been trying to pair my h700 headset with my powerbook G4. However, it seems to get tuck on the bluetooth assistant. For example, I start the assistant, and it sees the device, but then it just sits there and contiunes searching for other headset devices. Or, if I select 'Continue' after it finds my device (but while it's still searching), it just sits at the 'Gathering more information about your device' step. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I have the internal bluetooth, so I am not using an adapter.
As far as firmware and software, I have Bluetooth firmware version 3.1792 and Apple Bluetooth software version 1.7.3f4
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I had the exact same problem. Called Motorola and they told me it will not work with the Mac.
So I returned it and bought the Motorola HS820 and it pairs just fine and works extremely well.

  • Motorola Bluetooth headset delay issues..

Anyone has problems with delay answering with BT headset.. My Motorola BT pairs and I can make calls with no problems. But, for incoming calls..Wether i use the headset button or the slider in the iPhone, there is like a 10-13 seconds delay before I can hear the caller...Tried turning off wi-fi and it's still the same.

  • 8300 Custom Ringtones to Motorola S9 Headset

I have a AT&T curve 8300 running 4.2.2.166 with a new Motorola S9 A2DP headset.  Music and calls work fine using the headset.  How do I make the unique ringtones assigned to contacts heard in my headset?  Furthermore how do make the custom ringtone only be heard in the headset to gain benefit from the custom ringtone and not disturb others?  Thanks.

Okay, in answering my question, currently the Bluetooth services in the iPod Touch (with OS3.0) are:
    AVRCP Device
    Audio Source
    PnP Information
    Service Discovery
    Wireless iAP
In other words, no service is available for connecting a Bluetooth headset (or microphone).
FYI, AVRCP, according to Wikipedia: "Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP)
This profile is designed to provide a standard interface to control TVs, Hi-fi equipment, etc. to allow a single remote control (or other device) to control all of the A/V equipment to which a user has access. It may be used in concert with A2DP or VDP."
Wireless iAP, is wireless internet access point (I believe).

  • Bluetooth- Motorola HT820 Headset NO MUSIC

I recently got the Motorola Bluetooth HT820 Headset. It allows me to use it to make calls but I cannot listen to the iPod function on my iPhone. Does anyone know if there is a way to make it work or if there is another similar product that will work? I can't believe Apple hasn't made a bluetooth headset for the iPhone (for music)
    Thanks

You can't listen to music via bluetooth head set, sorry.

  • 4.2 for Pearl 8100 for support of Bluetooth A2DP or AVRCP to pair with Motorola S9 headset

According to Doc ID : KB13930, it'll be supported on BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2.  Does anybody know when it'll be released or if one can participate in a beta trial of the software?
<< The Bluetooth Stereo Audio Profile is supported in BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2. BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 or earlier do not support this feature. For more information on BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 or later see KB04195.
Note: A BlackBerry device user may successfully pair with a Bluetooth enabled headset if the BlackBerry device is running BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1; however, the music audio is unable to be heard on the headset and comes out through the speakerphone.>>

    Hey all,
As with most of you, I'm experiencing the same issues with both my mouse and keyboard not pairing after changing batteries. I spoke with my tech guy at work and he knows of the problem and told me how to fix it - which I tried but couldn't do it. So I brought them into work and gave then to my tech guy just to see if they would pair with another Mac G5. He was having the same problem but was able to get them to pair. This is what he did -
    1. Ran the BT set up.
    2. When he made it to the enter passkey and typed in the PK but it didn't work, he would hit the continue button, turn the keyboard off/on super fast and retype in the PK.
After a few times, it worked. He also suggested pulling the batteries out and placing them back in in the middle of the process. He doesn't know why this works other then saying "it's finicky".
Just one other note. He got my mouse to connect with no problem. I couldn't at home. I'm writing this at work and will try this solution tonight and let everyone know if it works for me.
    Hope this helps

  • Motorola H710 headset stopped working

I've had an H710 headset for almost 2 years without a problem.  Suddenly the person at the other end of my call couldn't hear me (or I was very faint) even though voice dialing on my phone could hear me when I initiated a call.  I read a number of posts that led me to try to clean out the mic hole, which I did but didn't fix the problem.  I ended up buying another H710.  I paired the new headset successfully but voice dialing can't hear me and of course the caller at the other end can't either.  Anyone have any suggestions?  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I neglected to add the pertinent info for my phone.  BB 8830, Sprint, OS V4.5.0.175, voice dialing is Voice Signal VSuite 2.1 Version: 2088 (LVR 47.2) Build 0238.
I have performed battery pulls as well as removal and repairing of headsets.  Problem still exists.
    Thanks,
    Dennis

  • Motorola Stereo Headset S605 and iPhone 3GS

I could pair the 2 above and receive calls, but i cannot stream music from iPhone 3GS to the headset. Can anyone help?

    Jabra doesn't work...
    Philips SHB 7100 doesn't work...
Sony Ericsson, some models work, some don't. Esp the low end doesn't work.., or skips badly...
I got an iTech from Challenger... it's clip music 801. It's quite good. Esp given the price tag of 88$
I got the Philips before and sold it through hardwarezone. You can try that or wait for 3.1 update and pray to El Jobso... it might fix the bluetooth woes...

I recently upgraded from an iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5.  I have a Motorola HX550 Bluetooth Headset which worked flawlessly with the iPhone 4s.  However, since upgrading to the iPhone 5, I frequently lose audio when in the middle of a call.  I am not certain whether it is a full disconnect or just an audio loss.  The person on the other end reports still being able to hear me, however, I suppose they could hear me speaking over another source even if bluetooth disconnected. The loss of audio is always preceded by a quick shrill noise, so I can easily tell when it happens.  All I have to do to fix the problem is to select Audio Source on the call screen, temporarily switch audio back to the iPhone, and then switch back to the headset, and then it starts working again.
Is is important to note that I am not the only one experiencing this issue:
This is a link to someone using the Motorola H19txt headset experiencing the same issue
    https://forums.motorola.com/posts/94ac15ad7c
If you go to the Plantronics website and look at the "Ratings and Reviews" on the Voyager Legend you will see the same issue reported:
http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-legend (next paragraph is taken from the review since there is no direct link to the review.
Really nice Headset unless you own an Iphone 5. I own several Plantronics headsets and have always loved the quality/ performance. This headset seems not to be compatible with the new Iphone 5. In the middle of a conversation it will lose all incoming audio. This leaves you trying to switch audio sources really fast in order not to lose your phone call. Ive tried 3 legend headsets and they all do the same thing. Hopefully this gets fixed soon because the headset is really nice
Since this issue appears to affect multiple headsets from multiple vendors, I think it is fair to conclude that it is an issue with the iPhone5 bluetooth itself.
I am posting this as a new discussion as I don't see any other posts specific to this iPhone 5 Bluetooth issue.  I would have reported this as a problem to Apple, but don't seem to be able to find a way to do this on the web.  Hopefully they are already aware, but if not, maybe they will see i here.

here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock.

  • Motorola S9 wireless stereo headset

I received as a gift a Motorola S9 headset. It receives phone calls fine but when you attempt to play music, the music skips. I was told this may be due to the keys being locked. I don't know what this means but I would appreciate some assistance. Also, is there a good software for my blackberry for scheduling, memos, things to do, and so forth. Anything where you can do it on your computer then download it to the Blackberry. Thanks!

I just got my new 8350i and have the S9 headphones. I noticed before that the music would cut in and out and I think it was because the bluetooth signal was blocked (even though it was only in my pocket) that might be the problem. I'll try it out at the gym tomorrow with the 8350i and see if I run into any trouble.
My old phone was the samsung dual sided phone.
