Mouse - 2 finger zooming, like Iphone!

Wow, didn't even know the Booklet had this, maybe I'm just a dinosaur, but the mouse pad supports two finger Pinch zooming similar to the iPhone.
To use a Pinch Zoom gesture:
1. Place two fingers down on the TouchPad surface.
2. Slide the fingers further apart to zoom in or slide the fingers closer together to zoom out. For the best zooming experience, use the tips of your fingers.
Also has 3 ginger flick gestures too!
To setup or learn more (even with video tutorials), go to Mouse Icon in Taskbar, double click on it, then go to Device Settings - v neat, but maybe old hat for you guys.

On their driver download site Synaptics now also offers a tool calles "Scrybe" which supports advanced gestures like circles etc. to start programs. I didn't cope with it, though.

In iOS6.1.3 there is a slider in the bottom of the field (in Camera App), that is for zooming. You can also do it with two finger pinching.

I more or less do that now with a keyboard short cut to View Zoom to Selection. Then I just select the bit I want to zoom to by dragging the left clicked mouse over it and then use the shortcut key. The already assigned "\" key zooms back out fully horizontally.

Using the Magic Mouse (4 finger scroll?)

I got a new iMac and I've played with the trackpad for the Macbook. The Macbook has the 4 finger swipe to switch between programs easily (like alt+tab for us PC users making the transition to Mac). Is there something equivalent with the iMac Magic Mouse, a hot key to bring that menu up, or a way to program the Magic Mouse to do that, or a way to program a regular Logitech trackman wheel mouse to do that? Thanks!

Magic Mouse - Two Finger Swipe not working in Finder + iTunes

Hello,
since OSX 10.8 I realized that in Finder & iTunes the backward/forward navigation has stopped working with Magic Mouse (two-finger-swipe gesture).
I have already read a lot of forums as well as apple-discussions and didn't find a solution apart from MagicPrefs or any other 3rd-party-app.
Is that a bug or just not meant to work? Does anybody know why Apple stopped providing this - very useful - gesture?

I would also recommend if that does not work, to reboot and run "repair permissions" from Disk Utilities.
Also might suggest downloading and trying MagicPrefs, it's a free program for the Magic Mouse and it really works great. May help with your problem, may not but I'd give it a try.

Two finger zoom in preview doesn't work

Just upgraded to a new macbook pro 2.8ghz.
all working fabulously, except one frustrating difference.
When I hit spacebar on a JPG for example, on my old machine I used to be able to two-finger expand the window to full screen using gestures on the touch pad. It no longer works.
Also, if I hit space bar on a PPT it will show a preview, but also when doing a two-finger zoom on touchpad, it used to expand to full screen on my old machine... now it leaves the window the same size, but expands the file within that set window...so frustrating, beacuse I have to scale the window myself... i want it to go full screen in both instances...

Reflection iCon like iPhone Apps

Hi all,
I'm wondering whether Keynote possible to create the icon like iPhone Apps' icons with the Reflection?
How to do that?

Then, yes, you can. The main part of the "reflection" is just a portion of a circle overlaid on the image with a white gradient. If you put that shape over almost any image, you'll get something really close to the look you're going for. I've uploaded a doc to iWork.com that you can deconstruct to see how it's done. Mouse won't zoom

My Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse will not zoom and yes, the "zoom using scroll ball" box is checked in preferences. I had reset the scroll ball to open iTunes which it does but using a command key plus pressing the scroll ball does nothing but open iTunes. Help!

Actually the choices to zoom are to use the control key or the option key or the command key. I did clean the scroll ball and normal scrolling does work in all directions. It is a mystery to me. Thanks for trying to solve it though.

Three Finger Zoom

Anyone here who's having problem with the iPod touch 5th Gen, 3 Finger Zoom?
Before, it does work but a certain point, it stopped recognizing the 3 finger zoom. For me to be able to use the said function, i have to reset all the settings of the iPod then it will be ok but give or take atleast 1 week, it will stop responding to the 3 finger zoom again then I have to reset all settings and it will be a forever cycle.
I also tried testing the three finger recognition in the game OSMOS wherein you have to tap your 3 fingers at the same time to go to the Game Menu when you are at gameplay. And my hunch was right, it does not respond to my 3 fingers.
I also checked the triple click home button function. The Zoom was the only one checked among the items. I tried it but it didn't zoom. I also used the Assistive Touch and still no response.
Do you think it's a hardware or software issue? Any advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

A page zooms in so less than 1/4 of the page is visible and nothing I do will zoom back out, command minus doesn't do it, double tap on mouse does not zoom out, and the window will not scroll to show any of the rest of the page. reloading the page does not help. Loading a different page gives me a normal view again.

If it were a tweaked setting, it should happen less randomly. And there should be no settings that could override the zoom setting in unversal Access and the Mouse zoom preferences.
In addition, this only happens in Safari 6, and seems to happen more fredquently on some websites and not on others. That suggests some sort of conflict in the site code with Safari and Apple wireless mouse code. It does not happen in Mail, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other software as far as I can tell.

Hi, My program sends an email with excel attachment. I am able to open and view the attachments in the mail in Laptops/desktops.
But unable to open the excel attachments in Smartphones like iphone etc. Can any one help me out with a solution?

If the file can be accessed in desktops & laptops i don't think this is a problem with SAP. Anyways search for any available OSS notes.
