Mouse goes off screen

Have a slot loading iMac where the mouse goes off the edges of the screen. Even if I change the resolution. I heard there is a fix for this but can't find it anywhere. Help please if you can. Thanks!

If you have a multi-coloured Apple in the top left then: go to  Apple Menu > Control Panel > Monitor > In there you will find controls to adjust the CRT display up, down, left, right and the keystone. slowly adjust these until the whole display is visible on the screen.
If you have a blue Apple in the top left then do the same but go:  Apple Menu > System Preferences... > Displays > .

Window Goes Off-Screen When Mouse arrow Is Moved To Upper Right Hand Corner

It seems like this happened recently. When the mouse is moved and pointed to the upper right hand corner of the screen everything displayed goes off-screen to the right and left sides. The edge of the window is shown on the right side and a shadow on the left side- when I click on those everything pops back on-screen. I have a bad habit of moving my mouse quickly and this has become annoying.
I thought it may have been a "Hot Corner" but I checked and this feature is not enabled(in Expose/Dashboard)
How do I disable this feature?

It definitely sounds like the hot corner "all windows" is enabled. There is a preference file that needs to be trashed, but I cannot figure out which one (no help to you).
Be sure that none of the hot corners are enabled and then restart.
You might also try resetting PRAM (although I do not think that will do anything).

Doesn't really sound like a virus.
See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...

How many of these you can answer...
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

Form going off screen

Hi all, new to flex and having what is probably a very simple issue.
I have my s:Application.
In here is an mx:Panel
in the panel is an mx:Form filled with mx:FormItems, including s:DropDownLists, s:TextInputs and s:TextAreas.
My Panel and form appear to be going off the bottom of the window. I was expecting the panel to stop at the bottom of the window and a scroll bar appear but it doesnt.
If i set a height value in the Panel of say, 100, a scroll bar does get rendered. I thought the obvious solution then was to apply height="100%" to the panel and form but this doesnt change anything and it still goes off the screen. I've also applied Bottom values but that doesnt stop it going off screen.
The application has width and height of 100% set, and a VerticalLayout. can someone tell me how to stop stuff going off the bottom of the window? I'm sure it must be something simple but google doesnt help!

OK So I've stopped the problem but am not going to mark it solved yet because I still have a question. I set the Panel to layout="Absolute" and that fixed it. Why does "vertical" let the panel go off screen and not bring up a scroll bar, do you always have to use Absolute?
Also, using s:Panel causes the problem regardless of what layout I apply, why?

Save/Open Window Goes Off Screen Bug

There's this one particular bug I've been having ever since I upgraded from OS X Maverick to Yosemite. Whenever I open/save a file, whether it's on the web browser or Finder, the open/save window goes off screen. I can still see the window but the bottom portion where you normally have the open, save, new folder and cancel buttons - is all the way at the bottom of the screen.
I can't scale it to its proper size because the window is buried beneath the Docks. The only way to rescale it is to click the arrow key button near the Save As drop down list but sometimes, this button is not there.
Does anyone else have this problem? Any idea how to fix it?

Text going off screen

When I send a text, it goes off the screen so I can't review it. The text is there, but the margin seems to be beyond the iPhone's screen. How do I make it so it starts a new line when it comes to the end of the screen?

Not sure exactly what the problem might be there, but you can try to perform a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot. See if that helps.

Mouse dropping off screen

When I move my mouse across the screen it will freeze in one spot and drop down off the screen in a straight pixel line. Help anyone??

Long Vertical CSS dropdown menu goes off screen

Greetings,
I developed a dropdown menu using Spry (Adobe Dreamweaver). It is a vertical menu with multiple sub-menus. Some lists are very long and the menu goes below and off the page.
I found a great example of what I want my menu to do: http://coins.shop.ebay.com/
On the side, it says "Browse By:" and there is a vertical menu. If I shrink the page up vertically a little and watch the sub-menus pop out, I notice they get pushed up if the parent is close to the bottom of the screen, which ensures that none of the options go off the page, they get pushed up.
How can this be done?

If you are using DWCS4 or 5, then you can easily incorporate the widget, if not then it is a matter of copying and pasting the code.

Firefox window goes off screen

When i open firefox the screen goes to the side of monitor where I can't get to it.

This issue can be caused by the Babylon Toolbar extension

With container checked for resizing, find/find next still goes off screen

I have an ALV in a custom container.
The custom container is marked for horizontal and vertical resizing.
At a higher resolution, only one vertical scroll bar shows - the ALV scroll bar.
At a lower resolution, two scroll bars show: the ALV scroll bar and the window scroll bar.
At the higher resolution, the ALV automatically scrolls to the row with a found item automatically (after doing a find on something beneath the last visible row.)
At the lower resolution, the ALV does not scroll automatically to the row with the found item - you have to manually scroll to see the row.
What can be done to fix this ?
Can I get the resolution somehow and then resize the screen and container dynamically ????

Desktop App Screen Goes 'Off-screen'

The app starts up but then in the wink of an eye it's gone. Using Expose I can see it but although it will drag in Expose that changes nothing. Clicking on it's Spaces Options I made sure it's suppose to show on All screens.
I've reset PRAM and NVRAM, but no change. I've disconnect other monitors. I've started up in Single-user mode.
ONE THING WORKED: I set up another User account and from there is works okay.
But it's a valuable app to me and I would like to access it on my main Administrative account.
Any ideas? There's something 'extra distressing' about it, being able to see it in Expose but not able to get to it.
No other apps do this.

Wow! That worked, fantastic! (It's been such an annoyance). Um...I delete from both places.
Note: I was a bit 'chicken-hearted' about deleting so many files in my ~/Library/Caches and in ~/Library/Preferences that I found just the two files (respectively) for the App name and deleted them.
But, considering your suggestion, I suppose we could just delete all those files in Caches and Preference and it does no harm!? -- Well, this will be a useful tip to remember.

Images keep going off the screen

Hi,
I have created a simple card game and added motion tween to it, the cards move around in a sqaure but they go off the screen and come back on because when i run the swf file, the window is to small, if i make the window bigger it still does not keep it on the screen. so it will go down off scren then back up on screen.
I wanted to knrow if i could set it to automticlly set the window so that it does not go off screen.

I got an image and everytime i run the image on the flash player the entire image does not show cause it goes off screen, how do i optimize the screen to show the entire image?

You can try disabling emoticons and image previews in your IM appearance settings in your Skype options to see if that changes anything. Some people running Windows XP have had odd graphical and resource issues with versions of Skype above 7.5. The alternative solution would be to downgrade to Skype 7.5 for the time being. Browser window opening off screen

a while back i started having an issue with firefox. firefox opens but off screen and i cant seem to veiw the open window. it goes off screen. I tryed deleating firefox and re loading a new version it does the same thing. I have no other issues with any other browsers. Someone help please

Text, going from off screen right to off screen left

using the basic type text button I want to type in a word and make it come from off screen right across the screen and off left.
I can see every perameter in there apart from that one. I can change fonts, colurs, tranparency, but I want to use the key frmaes to go to off screen right move across the screen dead hgorizontal and finsih off screen left.
Now I have done this by moving mouse to canvas and dragging it there.
The problem is with htat is I may not be at the exact same horizontal value on the left sice ( finish ) as I was from the start ( begin ) so it might travel up hill slighly.
Why is there not a right to left slider that I can use that makse sure that I dont mess with other values,
So how can I do this very simple move easier please?

First, you're going to get better quality using the boris text 3d rather than the plain text option.
But working the way you are, you can simply double click on your clip in the timeline, open the motion tab in the viewer and adjust the numeric value for the vertical position to match for each keyframe beginning to end. For best quality, use a whole number for the vertical position. I suspect that a little work with the manuals will help you here.
Using boris text 3d and the controls tab (rather than the text generator you've been using), will give you better quality as each frame of text is generated for optimum quality (technically, the boris text is vector generated rather than bitmapped).
