Mouse is frozen, Mouse is frozen

Please help, how can I make my frozen mouse to move?

If it is a wireless mouse, check the batteries and make sure "Bluetooth" is turned on and the mouse connected. I know this is a simplistic answer, but other than a broke mouse I don't know what else to tell you.
Good luck...virg

  • How can I get mouse pressed and mouse released positions on the desktop whi

    Hello All,
    I am generating a Frame using Swing API. My requirement is I need to capture the mouse pressed and mouse released positions, whenever user drags the mouse on desktop region (i.e. outside of the Frame). I require these points to find the rectangle region user has generated starting from mouse pressed to mouse released position. I need to pass that rectangle to Robot class in order to capture that desktop region.
    Can anybody help me out how can I achieve this using java on MAC, Linux and Windows platforms?
    Thanks in advance.

    Just want to know the hint how it can be achieved so that I can move further on that lines.

  • Computer frozen /mouse frozen on G4 in 10.2.2

    I use my old G4 for storage and old files I need.
    It went to sleep and would not come back up. I turned it off by using the start button on the computer held for 5 seconds.
    it came up but mouse frozen in the left corner.
    I opened the cd holder and put in the first disk of the jaguar on 10.2.2 and killed the computer with the start botton again. Then I booted up. Same problem. I could not use mouse so could not go to the disk repair.
    My hard drive is partitioned to have os 9 and os 10.
    I tried a safe boot. no luck wiht mouse moving I tried holding down the c key with the os 10 install disk 1 of 2 in, it only comes up as a window and doesn't boot from the cd.
    I tried apple-tab.
    now I can't eject the install disk and I can't get mouse to work and I am sunk. No chimes of doom, everything boots like normal, looks normal but the mouse won't move.
    Can I at least find a way to open the cd holder and take out the install disk?
    Any suggestions? i don't want to reinstall the system as the purpose is to use this computer to get to os 9 apps I need for work + as a storage disk- I use my macbook pro for other stuff.
    if I reinstall the system, I have to get the install disk out or to at least boot in the system on the disk...
    g4 Mac OS X (10.2.x)

    update:
    I got the computer to come up in the installation software (after 5 minutes) by holding down c key, but I still can't mover the mouse to get to the install button to install a new system.

  • Mouse Down and Mouse Move  and scroll ?

    Hi,
    Here is what I want to do:
    Whenever a user presses the mouse down and the moves the mouse, I want to synchronize the scrollbar thumb and the mouse. How is it possible?
    thanks.

    hi,
    there are 2 ways to do this depending on what you need from the mouse move
    1. To get the difference from when the mouse is pressed
    on the mousedown event your store the mouse coordinates -
    myX=   stageX   or LocalX    myY=  stageY  or LocalY
    on the mousemove event you subtract the current co-ordinates from the saved cordinates
    myXDif = myX-currentX
    myYDif = myY-currentY
    the difference will be negative or positive you can use that figure to calculate the percentage of range and then set the scrollposition
    2. Just track the mouse
    on the mouse move calculate the percentage position of the mouse to set the scrollbars
    HorizontalScrollPostion= the Max horizontal value * (LocalX /Width)
    VerticalScrollPosition= the max vertical value * (LocalY/Height)

  • How do i fix a frozen mouse? It is stuck in the top left corner of the screen.

    How do I fix a mouse that is frozen in the top left corner of the screen? I have tried rebooting and unplugging but it will not un freeze it.

    I didn't even suggest that because I would have thought that would be the first thing anyone would have checked for!   If you flip the on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse do you have a blinking green light?  Whether you do or don't, if you are unsure of the batteries then replace them.

  • Mouse enter and mouse leave not detected in small controls

    Look at the attached VI. There is a thin boolean with mouse enter and mouse leave events which are not always detected when moving over the control quickly. I'm not sure whether this behavior originates from LV (7.0) or from the way XP handles the mouse movement, but I would definitely call this a bug in the sense that the mouse does "enter" and "leave" the control and the events are not fired.
    My guess is that windows does not register all the points that mouse goes through, but only does so periodically. If it happens that 2 adjacent points are on 2 different sides of the control, LV can't recognize the enter and leave events. But that's just a guess.

    I put together a quick test, but I'm not sure what the results mean.
    Lynn, one of the tests uses windows API (although you can run the other one).
    Shane, sorry, only 7.1 on this PC.

  • Is there a way to rotate a brush in photoshop with a mouse or 3d mouse?

    I know about the brush presents and brush window, and I know you can rotate a brush using the window. I'm wondering is there has been any progress building the rotation feature into a 3d mouse, trackpad, magic mouse, etc.. Thanks!

    As far as I know only some special Wacom pens support rotate,  Most pens do not. Even Pen tilt seems to lock down once the pen touches the tablets surface.  As fare as I know Photoshop has no special support for 3D mice. Photoshop CC 2014 has some experimental touch support for windows touch gestures like rotate. and Mac has enable gesture.   Pen rotate and gesture rotate are different one rotate the canvas like you do drawing on paper. the other rotate the brush tip.  Rotate also requires a enabled GPU.

  • Frozen mouse- I need to keep unplugging the USB?

    My wireless mighty mouse was giving me a terrible lag problem- so I switched it out for a wire USB Apple mouse.
    The lag is gone but- I now get a frozen arrow several times an hour and the only solution is to unplug the mouse cable from the USB port (direct into Quad)
    and re-seat it. Or I unplug an re-seat it from the extension cable.
    I tried switching the USB port- but that does not help.
    Before I run out and buy a new mouse- is there something that could be causing this?
    Thanks.

    OK I read through the help section.
    I tried most of those.
    I have a feeling it's the mouse because I was using an older Apple mouse (the one with the black center) and it worked flawlessly.
    I just switched over to the newer, current mouse- (white center) and I have problems.
    I'm not even sure why I switched- I wish I just kept the old mouse.

  • Recently switched to Mac...Mighty Mouse or Wireless Mouse??

    After being a PC user for 15 years, I recently bought my first Mac...a black Macbook. I try to avoid using the trackpad unless I need to and I'm going to purchase an Apple mouse. My question for you guys, since I'm a noob, would you recommend an Apple Wireless Mouse or Mighty Mouse for use with my Macbook?
    [I'm currently using a Logitech MX1000 Laser with my PC and I love it!]
    Thanks for the help, I frequent these forums everydays. You guys are an invaluable resource for a new switcher!
    Black Macbook   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   Dell Latitude D800

    The Mighty Mouse gives you several options that you set in System Preferences.
    - Single-button clicking, like traditional Mac mice;
    - Left and right clicking, like on Windows machines;
    - Center clicking (you press on the scroll wheel itself);
    - Side "squeeze" click;
    Most or all of these can be configured independently of one another.
    The wireless mouse also has no scroll wheel.
    Note, however, that there is not nearly as much need to right-click on a Mac. A right-click brings up a contextual menu, which generally provides a handful of useful commands, which vary with the application. But virtually all contextual-menu commands are available via the traditional menus.
    (To try out contextual menus, hold the Ctrl key while clicking. This simulates a right-click on a single-button mouse.)

  • Frozen and still frozen after reboot

    Macbook Airs frozen and still frozen after reboot?

    Greetings Ging ging,
    It seems your MacBook Air is frozen and is not responding after starting up. You may want to consider performing a PRAM reset, which may help you get your device back up and running:
    OS X Yosemite: Reset your computer’s PRAM
    If your Mac doesn’t seem to be remembering your speaker volume, display resolution, or the disk it should be using during startup, you may need to reset your computer’s PRAM.
    Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Use System Preferences to restore your settings.
    Important:   To print these instructions, click the Share button  in the Help window, then choose Print.
    Choose Apple menu > Shut Down.
    Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Option, Command (⌘), P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on your Mac.
    Immediately press and hold the Option-Command-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
    Continue holding the keys down until your Mac restarts, and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.
    After resetting your computer’s PRAM, you may need to update your speaker volume, display resolution, and startup disk preferences. For more information about PRAM, see the Apple Support article About NVRAM and PRAM.
    Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

  • Frozen Mouse and Kernel Panic

    Hi,
    I bought the latest macbook with the basic configuration (128gb etc.). I started the machine for the first time and updated to the latest version of Yosemite 10.10.3.
    After the updating process the mouse cursor got stuck around every minute and after around 15 min the mac shut itself down reporting a "kernel panic". I got the error report but I couldn't find any solutions in that forum and since I am new to a mac maybe you can help me.
    Thanks

  • Balky, frozen mouse and keyboard

    Since installing OS 10.4.6, my USB keyboard and mouse quickly bog down, coming to a halt altogether. The mouse starts out as responsive as usual, but soon stops tracking adequately. The feel is as if the mouse is "bogged down" with too many instructions. I can unplug the USB cable to the keyboard and mouse and the problem will go away for a very short while, but then it is soon back. I can use a tablet stylus with absolutely no problem. Does anyone know what's going on here? It's extremely aggravating.

    Same thing is now happening to me ... it created a problem
    where there wasn't one before.
    Sorry to hear it, Steven. No solution from anyone anywhere, so I assume we are the few that experience this and we have no recourse but to wait for the next patch/update. I hope someone from Apple is monitoring these discussions closely, because this problem makes me want to chuck my entire system. I have found that unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable (it's in a factory-installed, direct USB socket) will clear the clog temporarily. I updated the driver for my Wacom tablet, so I can mouse around with that. I can't enter anything from the keyboard when that USB cable gets clogged. Anyone else out there have mouse and keyboard stoppage issues? HELP!

  • T400 - frozen mouse and keyboard after waking from standby

    I'm experiencing a very annoying problem on my T400 with Win XP Professional SP3:  around 75% of the time, when I wake up my T400 from standby mode, the mouse and keyboard don't work.  Actually what happens is one of these situations:
    1) Neither keyboard nor mouse (stick and pad) respond - Ctrl-Alt-Del to enter username/password is not registered, I can't log into Windows
    2) Keyboard works (I can log into windows) but mouse doesn't respond
    I have to close the laptop to standby and re-open, repeatedly, until it finally works.  Though one interesting aspect is that if I have external USB keyboard and mouse plugged in, they always work.
    Anyone have any ideas?  Thank you in advance!
