Mouse select very sticky in Firefox 12

Since upgrading to v 12 on 2 machines one XP the other Windows 7 when I select in twitter Firefox acts as if the left button has been either held down or clicked twice. Sometime in Yahoo mail I select a folder and it open the folder then as the moves the list of folders opens the folder which is now under the cursor. In Twitter simply crossing over a message can cause it to be selected. This happens on 2 machine with different OS and only since upgrade to 12 doesn't seem to affect other apps just firefox.

If that's the cause I'd expect lots of others to be experiencing the problem as I don't have any exotic add-ons installed.

Firefox 33 update - mouse speed very slow

After updating to Firefox v 33.0.1 the speed of the mouse became very sluggish and moves very slowly inside the browser and is constantly getting stuck on various elements on the page.
Version 32 was fine. Can you please fix this?

Gmail performance is very slow in Firefox 4 and much slower when compared to performance in Firefox 3.6.x After clicking a button within the Gmail interface (e.g. refresh, opening an email, sending an email etc.) there is a noticeable wait time in Firefox 4. In Firefox 3.6 and actually in any/all previous versions of Firefox, this was not the case. Using same machine for Firefox 4 as I was for Firefox 3.x. Dell Inspiron Laptop E6400, Dual core Intel 2 GHz, 3.5 GB RAM, 80 GB free HDD space, 32-bit Windows XP SP3. Gmail is set to use HTTPS always.

Refer to your last posting, seems that you've created index which wouldn't help your query performance.
You need to create index from the field which supplied from your 'WHERE' condition. So if I follow your initial posting in this thread, your index should contains:
- BUKRS (which will be compared with your company variable)
- PRCTR (which will be compared with your s_prctr variable)
- GJAHR (which will be compared with your s_year variable)
- HKONT (which will be compared with your glcode value in your it_final[])
- BUDAT (which will be compared with your s_budat range/select option.
And to follow the BSIS field order, the above index field need to be arranged as follow
- BUKRS
- HKONT
- GJAHR
- BUDAT
- PRCTR

Try not to use 'INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS' as it will increase table-memory overhead, but use 'INTO' and make sure the field list and internal table fields is in the same order.
So, once the index has been created, and 'INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS' has been changed to 'INTO' your selection should looks like this:

Mouse selection options

I switch recently from using CorelDraw to Illustrator, but I miss very much one thing from CorelDraw. If I was to select draggint with the mouse around objects, CorelDraw would select what's inside the rectangle, not what is toucing the rectangle. Keeping ALT while dragging would make CorelDraw select the way Illustrator is selecting normally. Is there a way to select in Illustrator what is inside the mouse selection rectangle.

Visio (now from MSFT) has had this option to select all within or not (see attached image; last item checked) since at least 2003
At least Illy could do the same and please many users.
Maybe more repeated "suggestions" to improve Ai to Adobe "might" help get it done.

Your keyboard will never be right again; it needs to be replaced. There's no effective way to clean sticky stuff out of it. Your Bluetooth module may have been shorted out and destroyed, and it probably isn't dry yet after only 24 hours.
Take your machine in for repair, and expect a hefty bill in the hundreds of dollars.

I have the exact same problem, I think. I was on my iPad 3's home page swiping R-L to locate a certain icon when all of a sudden the screen appeared to get HUGE. I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

To give an update on this issue, here is the latest information I have:
"Indeed the current eBay Open C doesn't come with root privilege. Now ZTE is going to put an engineering build on their website for users to download and flash."

Cover flow very sticky and slow with garbled images

The images in my cover flow area are gibberish, literally random lines and colors and cover flow itself is very sticky and slow. Oddly, there are on occasion covers that are normal. Does anybody know what this is or is anybody having this issue? It was this way with 7.6 and it's the same way with 7.6.1, I was hoping it would get corrected.

Comment about my previous comment. It's not just slightly slow, it's incredibly slow as in press the slidebar down arrow and wait a couple seconds for 1 increment of movement slow. The only time is returns to a normal speed is when I go to a screen without cover flow. For example, when I click the 'all movies' link in the iTunes store. I had this problem with 7.6 and it still exists with 7.6.1.

FCT Getting Very "Sticky" Need Help Troubleshooting!

Here's the problem, the best I can explain it:
In every editing session - after a hundred or so moves (edits, plays, anything) - the Final Cut program gets very "sticky." Every command has a delay, and the longer I'm at it, the longer the delay becomes. Quitting the application and restarting it seems to be the only way to get the program up to speed, but the problem is consistent, and every day of editing requires about 20 or so quits and restarts. There's no serious problem that gets in the way of getting the job done, but it's become an annoying impediment to productivity.
My guess is that it's memory related, but I have not found anything to pinpoint what exactly. I've looked into Activity Monitor and even gone so far as to quit background and unused operations, but that doesn't seem to do anything either.
Please let me know if you need me to explain further. Anything you can offer would be of great help.

99 undo steps is max, as you may know. That would maybe explain why you experienced FCP getting more sticky for every thing you did. Every sequence you have open, eats ram. Try having only the sequences you are working with open.
Does it help, lowering the undo steps and the amount of open sequences? You might want to get some more ram.

Keep explaining. The only way I know of to trap a selected cell value in VIEW is to embed into the desired VIEW area a second non-modal SUDialog that has a Table control or an XTable control displaying the values of certain data channels. There are callbacks in both table controls for cell selection, and you can configure the table control to allow only single cell selection if that's what you want. The regular table control will be easier to program, but the XTable control will perform much better for larger channels.
But what happens with that value the user selected? Is it used for a calculation? Is it added to a report? Why would the user select that cell in a table rather than selecting the corresponding feature in a graph with the crosshair cursor?

Firefox will only remember a password if you click the Remember button on the sliding bar at the top that opens when Firefox detects a password.<br />
If you mean a check box on a web page to remember you then such a choice is stored in a cookie on your computer.
* Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and password exceptions.

If your device is one of the Firefox OS Tablets from the contribution program, please be aware that those builds are still being improved and ironed out. If that is the case, please follow the guidelines for the contributor program to report issues with the device.
