Mouse snap to in version 3.6.3 It now seems to work for certain items.
I know the mouse snap to feature does not function in FFox......at least until version 3.6.3 It now appears to operate for some dialog boxes but not all. Has FFox enabled tis function to some extent. I notice it now works in Yahoo Mail.

ShaneYou can trash the 4.0 beta and then re-install Firefox 3.6.15 from http://www.mozilla.com
When you trash the Firefox beta it will not remove your user data which is stored elsewhere in the profile folder. When Firefox 3.6.15 is installed it will use the existing profile folder containing your bookmarks, passwords and other user data. -

Keep getting notified I should update to more secure version (I believe it is 8.x and have done so, and waited for Firefox to restart. However, when it does, it still shows 7.0.1 and I later get the same notification of the need to updates.

My IPOD touch is using version 5.1.1. and no updates available. I use a podcast app which I listen to every day. The app updated for the new IOS7 and now doesn't work for me any more.
All yo can do is either find a compatible app that works for your 3G iPod (iOS 5.1.1) or purchase a new model iPod.

Happy to report that iTunes Match has returned to working like normal on iTunes 10.7 on my computer today. If any iTunes engineers read this thread, I really appreciate the fix.

Magic Mouse stopped scrolling in version 10.6.8
Hi, my mini mac which is a good 5 years old now has been working without problem over that period.
Recently, for now apparent reason the Magic Mouse has stopped scrolling/swiping - all other functions are OK, including right click.
When I go to mouse preferences I only see basic configuration options. Not those that were there for the Magic Mouse.
I have read a reasonable amount on this topic and do not have the USBOverdrive software installed or any other peripheral software. rebooted on several occassions with no joy.
I'd appreciate any help that can be offerred.

Problem solved: After checking with a second computer, recent iMac also with SL, and a new Macbook Pro with Lion in an Apple store, it was proven that in my case it was a hardware problem of the mouse, and not a communication or software problem. Weird indeed, as no moving part was involved. The mouse was just one year old, but I received a new one free of charge at the the Apple dealer.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium, 32 bit, kept updated to current, and Firefox 10.0 updated to current version. When I applied this new update, the browser started scrolling 3 lines instead of 1 when I hit the down arrow. Please advise if there is a fix in the works for this problem. Thanks.

I've seen more posts about this new "feature, but I don't know of a way to revert it to one line.
Firefox 10 has changed to scroll amount for the keyboard navigation UP and DOWN keys to 3 lines.
You can set the scroll amount for the mouse wheel via mousewheel prefs on the about:config page, but you can't do that for the keyboard navigation keys.

There are extension that work both for the mouse and the keyboard to set the scroll amount, but they can only be set to scroll an amount of pixels and not to scroll one line regardless of font-size (height) of the text.

However, currently the first problem is that unbind works, while bind doesn't. Which means anyone doing an unbind will have keyboard and mouse lost until the next reboot.
Are you still running your bind/unbind script? Perhaps you should disable it.
Also, you should mention what sort of laptop you are using, make/model, etc, as well as Arch kernel type/version, and whether you are running GNOME/KDE/whatever.
You could still try the psmouse thing. If your mouse is working, you can at least shut down your PC gracefully. -
I can no longer import pictures to my ibook (OSX version 10.6.8) using iphoto 09 version 8.1.2 and now get message that file is in an unrecognizable format. What is wrong? Same camera as before.

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there? -

I can't open my iPod library in iTunes, the app doesn't show the device at all, no error message, nothing, but windows 8 opens it like it would a flash drive. It has worked for me before just fine and both have the most updated software versions. HELP PLEASE!
