Mouse stuck in Acrobat Connect when sharing screen

I have been using Acrobat Connect for a while without any
major problem, until this morning when I tried to share my screen
from a Windows box to which I was connected to with Microsoft
Remote Desktop. My screen was broadcasted, but the mouse pointer
got "stuck"; as I was moving the mouse, the pointer was just moving
by a few pixels around the same area. Needless to say that this
made Connect unusable. Stopping the sharing "unstuck" the mouse.
Is this a known problem?
Is there any workaround to this issue?
Alex

Just this morning I had the exact same problem. I just installed Windows 7 on Parallels, and shut down the computer yesterday after it hung. Today I turn on my computer and the mouse is at the top left of the screen, and the cursor is blinking in the password field, but I cannot move the mouse or enter a password.
I have tried to reset the SMC (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964), I have restarted with the boot disk and the disk utilities found errors and repaired them, but it didn't help. I saw a solution posted here (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964)from Deanoh (post 5) where he suggests resetting the PRAM (1. Restart your computer while holding down the keys CommandOption+PR.
2. Wait for your computer to chime twice before releasing the keys.
The screen will flash when the PRAM resets.)
BUT this did not help.
Deanoh's second suggestion is interesting as before my computer crashed yesterday it was constantly showing an error "could not connect network drive"
I have been trying to find out how to disconnect a network drive without logging onto the computer, because I can't, but haven't found a solution yet.
I have tried restarting in single user mode (press cmd-s at restart) but at the prompt I cannot type anything.
I know my keyboard and mouse work, as I used them to repair the disk using sidk utility when I booted using the Mac OS X cd.
If anyone can come up with any other suggestions I would love to hear them. I really wouldn't want to format my hard disk restore from my time machine backup, it's my last resort, but even then I cannot guarantee it would work, as then backup is up to date and backed up the computer in the current state!
Thanks

  • Crach Adobe Connect when sharing screen - Windows

    Dear all,
When I try to share my screen via Adobe Connect the system crashes.
We tried various browsers, resolutions and we installed the latest verion of Adobe Flash Player. Does anyone have any further advice on what we can do?
    Thanks in advance.

Not having the Screen Share icon sounds like they were a the Participant level of permissions in the room, and needed to be promoted up to Presenter or Host to be able to share their screen.
Here is a screen shot, with the Participant on the left and a Host/Presenter on the right:

Hold down the Home and Power button to shut off the iPhone. Keep it disconnected from the computer. Then, hold down the Home for 20 seconds. Connect it to the computer while continuing to hold down the Home button. Wait for iTunes to say your iPhone is in Recovery mode. Then, restore.

After you place the iPod in recovery mode using
iOS: Unable to update or restore
You have to then connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. Are you doing that?

My Ipad is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen, I have tried plugging into iTunes but it makes the necessary noise but the computer does not recognise it and nothing alters on the Ipad screen. Have tried various computers and leads and it still does not work.  Have also tried the switching off, plugging in to computer and turning on again using the on button and then the home button but nothing works.  This happened while I was downloading software update.   Please help me.

I suggested several things to GeekyNerdGirl in her first post here. Take a look.
My iPad is in what seems like permanent restore mode after iOS 7.2 update?
It can take more than a few attempts before Recovery Mode will work and you have to follow the steps exactly. DFU mode is even harder to perform correctly beside of the 10 second hold. Don't stop trying. Eventually one of these methods could work for you.

  • HT201263 My iPhone 4 is stuck on the "Connect to iTunes screen" after trying to update to iOS 7.0.4! Help!

I was attempting to update my iPhone 4 to the new iOS 7.0.4 via my computer after I plugged it in to create a backup copy and something went wrong before it could finish and I recieved an error message. Now my phone is stuck on the "Connect to iTunes screen". I've tried everything to reset & restore my phone with no luck!
    I have:
    -Restarted my computer
-Updated iTunes to most current version
-Turned phone on and off several times, waiting up to a half hour before turning on (to be greeted directly with apple logo then the connect to iTunes screen)
-Turned on, turned on and held home button (nothing happens)
-My computer is NOT recognizing my device at ALL! But when I plugged my boyfriends iPhone in, it detected it no problem.
I tried calling my phone from the other phone and it goes straight to voicemail. I am super frustrated! Does anybody know what is going on?

I was able to restore my phone!!!
I called Apple and they said there was nothing more I could do. I called my carrier Verizon and was able to get my computer to recognize my device after trying this-
    Solution:
After trying EVERYTHING this is the ONLY thing that worked-
I took the USB connector cable out of the USB port it was in, and tried another one on the otherside of my laptop and iTunes was able to discover my phone in recovery mode. My phone was reset and everything is fine ( thank gosh for backup copies!)

  • IPhone 4 is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen and won't activate?

My friend wanted me to back up his iPhone 4 but when he brought it over it seemed like it was in recovery mode and it is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen. He never connected the iphone 4 to iTunes before this and I know he didn't tamper with it. When I try to sync the iPhone 4 with iTunes it accepts the iPhone but I keep getting a message that says that " the iPhone cannot be activated and may be damaged & to bring it in to the nearest Apple Store" this makes no scense cause the phone has not been tampered with at all & it seems that everything on the start up menu is working fine, the touch screen, voice prompts, the volume up/down, vibrate, home and sleep/power buttons are all operating properly? The only thing is that he hasn't payed his bill and AT&T shut his service off, but I don't think that this would cause the phone to go into recovery mode. What does cause the iphone-4 to go into recovery mode and why would I even have to activate the iPhone-4 if it was already set up? If this has happend to anyone else or if anyone can help me out on this one, I would appreciate it even if the answer ends up being that he needs to take his iphone-4 into the Apple Store or AT&T because the iphone-4 is under 6 months old and like I said has no physical damage at all? Help anyone???

well I only have a 3gs so I'm not all up on the current but the way I see it you have a few option's depending on the route you want to take,
If you don't mind loosing what's on the phone (if you want to try save info try 2 before 1)
    1. (Best Chance) put the iphone into DFU mode, (1. turn off iphone while plugged into computer, then hold the sleep button count to three 2. then hold the home button whiile still holding the sleep button, count to 10 3. release the sleep button but keep home button,) then itune should detect the phone and offer to restore it, this should restore it
1b.  I would repeat above with a active SIM card, doesn't make a difference where I live but you never know
1c.  I wouold try On difference Computer (rule out bad download, currupt driver's etc etc
If you want to try save the information then I would say you are doing some of this at your own risk as I'm not sure about apple rules regarding these, the steps should all be legal but might void your warrently so be warned!
    2. Download a utility call Tinyumbrella ( http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com/ ) and have you phone connected and run the program, on the left should be a list of connected devices (make sure itunes is closed) click on the device connected and on the right click exit recovery, hopefully your device will reboot normally, (there's also an fix recovery option but I've never used that)
2b this option is to jailbreak your phone as that "hacktivates" your phone if using this option and it works I suggest a FULL backup then follow option 1 above, download a program call Redsn0w ( http://blog.iphone-dev.org/tagged/redsn0w ) and follow the instructions that come with it, again if this works I suggest a full backup then follow option 1 about even if you do wish to stay "jailbroken"
this advice is just some idea's as you have given no information on what happen or firmware involved current mood of phone ^^ I can only hazard a guess at the problem< if after these steps is doesn't work i suggest trying to bring it back and get someone professional to look at it

  • Can't get my Ipad to charge through the PC or wall adapter, it's stuck on the connect to Itunes screen and will not let me reboot it.

My Ipad has been stuck on the connect to Itunes screen now for days, it will not charge through the PC or wall charger.  When plugged into the PC it is not recognized by it.  Itunes doesn't see it and it will not let me reboot the system.  How can I get past this so I can start using it again?

    Hello Aloe_85,
This screen indicates that your device must be restored before it can be used again. The steps detailed in the article below can help get your iPad to reappear in iTunes so that it may be restored.

  • Transferring info. from my old iPhone 4s to iPhone 5c but now my iPhone 5c is stuck on the connect to itunes screen

I was in the process of backing up my iPhone 5c when iTunes asked me if I'd like to update my iPhone. I agreed but I guess there was a problem when updating because it showed an error screen then everything stopped. Now my iPhone 5c is stuck on the connect to itunes screen. I've tried everything to try and fix this problem. Holding the home/power button and trying to restart, uninstalling/re-installing iTunes and nothing has worked so far. Please help!!

You will need to connect your iPhone to your computer and restore it using iTunes.  If you are unable to do so, you will need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

  • My ipod touch 3g is stuck on the connect to itunes screen.

My Ipod though 3g is stuck on the connect to itunes screen. When I connect it it tells me that it's locked and that I need to enter my passcode, but it's stuck on that screen so I can't.
I have tried restarting it AND resetting it multiple times and it is still stuck on that screen.
I don't know what else I can do.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The iPad doesn't need to be replaced.
    FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE

    2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
    3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
    4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTune and plug (very important)
    5. Release Home button.
