Mouseover Flag in Business Card Shows Incorrectly

I did a mouseover on a user with a Swiss (I believe) flag. The display was "CH".
I think this is incorrect. It used to display the full country name which was better.

I did notice this a couple of days ago. My guess is that this change was done during the revamp of the Business Card.
Also I couldnt help but think of the T005 table when I saw it.

I'm trying to add new fields on the overview page of service personal data IT0002
I found "Determine Fields for Business Card on Area Page" in customizing and added new field, but it doesn't show in ESS portal service.
Does anyone have any advice what I need to do to make it work?

Bizcards is only customizable via IMG as of EHP3
Lower releases might require additonal steps/modifications
For EHP3 you need to ensure you are using EHP3 software components and have EHP3 business
function switched on (be careful though switching on this function is only reversal via restore to point in time
before switching it on) - also check note 1159911 if you have switched this one and/or see no fields
Worth also trying the following
Check V_T7XSSPERBIZFLD for existing fields and positions
Add supplementary fields and position numbers to V_T7XSSPERBIZFLD
OR
Check V_T7XSSPERBIZFLD for existing fields and positions
Overwrite required positions and fields in V_T7XSSPERBIZFLC

this URL i given in my personal URL. And it will be showing in my business card. when other persons are clicking my business card we will get the photo space know. In the place of photo space below the photo space there personal URL i am giving my personal URL like that

When others clicking this URL everybody can see the image of mine. Instead of this i have to display
my image instead of my URL. This is my query.

If you are trying to display your image in your wiki profile, you can use the wiki markup language and reference the image like this (using the full image url.jpg)
If you are using the WYSIWYG editor you can use the graphic icon to insert the reference to the url in the wiki.

I was referring to one of your Blogs from February(SAP Cloud for Customer - February 2014 Release Highlights) and noticed that under User Experience - there is a Native Business Card Scanner for Mobile Solutions.
Do you have any documentation related to this? Like how do we use this feature on iPad application today and what is the exact use.

Enable the Business Card Scanner to Create Leads (optional)
Buy the appropriate number of licenses for business card scans for your company from ABBYY at http://cloud.ocrsdk.com.
Each business card scan counts as one A4 scan.
As a result, ABBYY sends you the application name and password.
Log on to your SAP solution as an administrator and choose Administrator Mashup Web Services Business Card Scanner Service .
Choose Enter API Keys.
In the dialog box that appears, choose Show API Keys.
Enter the application and password that you received from ABBYY.
Save your entries.
Back on the Web Mashup Services screen, select the Business Card Scanner Service and activate it.

I am trying to save a sheet of business cards to pdf format in order to print them off.

I have done it in the past, but now, when I export the file, it shows one card per sheet of paper instead of 10 per shet to fit the stock for business cards.
I'm sure it is an easy fix, but it eludes me.

HP C4680 all in one printer out of alignement when printing avery business cards.

I recently purchased an HP C4680 all in one printer and have found
that it will not print Avery clean edge C32028-25 business cards. It
prints ok on plain paper and when you compare against the business card
sheet everything is in the correct position. However when you print the
actual cards the printed area creeps up the page and some of the print
is off the cards ruining the sheet. I am using avery design pro
software version 5. The print preview shows the printing area correctly.
Please advise of a fix for this issue.

I have the same problem with my HP Officejet Pro 8000 using Avery business cards. I don't think HP knows how to fix the problem. I was told by HP to select card stock as my paper type, but that is not on my menu. I may have to adjust my PageMaker template to counter the creep. You would think that this would be an adustment that could be made in the software. It amounts to 1/8" over the whole page. I don't plan on much help from HP since I have not received any help in the past.

How can I control the location(s) of business cards on the printed sheet?

I have created a business card design in Pages--with an inserted image and a text block--and it is located on the upper left of the sheet.
However, I cannot find a way to fill all the other spaces on the sheet with this same design--that is, to replicate it across the entire sheet.
For example, I cannot find a way to copy the entire design and then paste it in all the other spaces on the sheet.
Alternatively--trying another possible method--when I go to the overhead button named "Pages" (which offers choices of "10 up," "8 up," and "blank"), and choose "10 up," all that happens is that a second page (sheet) is added with all the spaces filled with a "Your name," etc., template rather than the business card design I created.
By comparison, for example, in the Avery DesignPro software, there is an "All same" button that fills the entire sheet with the business card design that you've created. That's apparently not possible with Pages.
Any ideas? Many thanks in advance for your suggestions.

The graphic in the upper left corner of each original card in the template is a placeholder. To use the placeholder, you drag a media file to the placeholder and your file takes on the size and shape of the placeholder. You will have to do this once for each card on your page. Drag to the placeholder, release. Repeat.
As you have learned, the +Pages icon adds a page. Logical, right? It doesn't change what you already have in your document, just adds to it.
I'm sure you will have other issues with templates, and we're happy to help you. Apple seems to use the templates to show off their niftiest tricks. That means that the templates are often complex and confusing to newcomers. As shortcuts to fancy documents, they are seductive traps. Just my opinion - not meant as critisism, offered to give you some perspective on the troubles you are having.

Crystal report showing Incorrect data against Bex Query

I have created Crystal report on top of Bex Query, I have not done any calculations in the report, just dragging structure and key figure in the report, ran for one month, when I compare with Bex Query with same period, it is showing incorrect data.
I don't know what can be wrong here?
We are Business Objects 3.1 SP3.

Alt-text in Business Card

Hello,
while watching a users business card I find it interesting to see from which country he/she comes from.
But as I don't remember all the flags of the world this information is hidden sometimes.
I'm wondering whether it would be possible to add an 'alt=' text to the img tag with the name of the country.

T42 Showing Incorrect Adapter Name in Access Connections

I am working on a T42 laptop and installed Access Connections 5.12. I have gone through and did all the prerequisites prior to installation of Access Connections (wireless driver update, UltraNav Driver upgrade, Video Upgrade, BIOS upgrade, LAN driver update, etc). I have created a profile for a wireless network that is in range and operational. My problem is the adapter is showing incorrectly within Access Connections. This wireless adapter is identified correctly in device manager as "11b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter". But in Access Connections, it is showing as "Intel(R) WiFi Link 5300 AGN". I am needing this to identify the correct adapter to get Access Connections to work. Any ideas?

Unless you need to use Access Connections to switch among multiple *wired* networks, I'd suggest simply un-installing Access Connections and using the built-in Windows tools for establishing your wireless connection. Windows will let you establish wireless profiles just like Access Connections does. AFAIK Access Connections doesn't add anything to the built-in Windows wireless networking, and in your case it's misbehaving, so...

In the link that Xandrex provided you, the third item says "Add a contact to your address book from a vCard contact attachment". Is this not what you are looking for? If not, please explain with more details since it seems, from what you have presented, that your question has been answered. If VCard is not the format you are asking about, please be explicit about the precise format -- "Business Card" does not tell us the format of the item in question.

Lumia 800 cannot receive business card

I have brought lumia 800. unexpectedly my wife send me business card to me. The sendding mobile shows as delivered and my lumia 800 not even shows a notification by sound/sms/light...
I tried with several phones. result same..
Please let me know the cause of the issue at the earliest... Its annoying to know my phone not having some basic features.

You will need firefox to complete following steps.
1. Upload your pic on www.pixhost.org.
2. When page with your pic is shown, right click on your pic and copy the location. Remember the link given under 'show to friend' will not work.
3. Edit your pic on business card and paste the URL. Click preview to see the photo.
4. At last click save to update your photo on your business card.
I hope this will work for you.

Country and timezone info on business card?

Lately I saw a thread on ALT texts for the flag image on the business card.
In addition to that I would like to suggest that the country name and timezone are printed next to the flag. Knowing the timezone of other posters may help to steer expectations about response times.

Actually in an odd way I like looking up flags, it has a little educational value in it. Without SCN I wouldn't be able to tell you off the top of my head that Iceland is a blue flag with a red cross.
A quick trick for flags is r-click -> properties, get two letter iso code from end of address (use mouse selection to scroll to end), look up in T005 if necessary.
However I think the timezone is an excellent suggestion! Perhaps also with an offset to one's own timezone?

Photo size? Cm or inches? which measure?
Full size? what is that in Ccm or inches in your world?
Are you using a business card template from Pages? or have you created your own in Pages?
Why change the car d to the photo and not the other way around, photo to the card?
Bleed to edges? Print in a print shop or at home?
Etc.
You can download the Pages User Guide from the Pages help menu. It will tell you a lot about how Pages work and can do.
