Mouseposition interactivity - blocked by image

Hi,
I'm using flash to build banners among other things. Today I experienced a problem with a banner with mouseposition interactivity. The expected interactivity was blocked by a transparent gif that lay on top of the banner and apparently was there to track and handle clicks. It's a ad component for Joomla called Ijoomla Ad Agency. There is no way to make the ad component work in another way.
Is there a way to track mousposition despite a blocking image and if so how would I do that?
//Morgan

Yeah, I know. The banner I mention uses mouseX and mouseY. I should have written that the actual swf works and is responding to mousemovements but not when theres an external image on top of the banner.
The ad system puts a transparent gif in front of all flashbanners. So that wehn you click it it's the image that gets the click. This technique seems to block falsh from listening to mouse movements.

  • How to make an interactive block ALV

    Hi,
       I am new to the field of ABAP and have recently started working on ALV's. My problem is that i do not know how to make an interactive block ALV. I have implemented this functionality with the simple ALV but I am not getting the same for block ALV. Anyone who has worked on the same or has any idea please help me.

    Hi jester526,
    You'll need Acrobat to create links in a PDF file. Please see https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/creating-and-editing-links for instructions.

  • Block white images over colour background

    Possibly a simple question, but I can't find referance about it anywhere.
    I'm trying to place a block white image of hand-drawn text (saved as a psd or/and tiff file with layers so that the surround is transparent) into indesign CS4. Placed over the top of a solid red colour. However when I do this, the image becomes transparent and invisible on the page.
    I've also attempted to do this by importing a greyscale black version (in tiff format), and then converting the colour to either paper, or a white. But with no luck. This could be because indesign treats paper colour or white as transparent, but is there any way to get around this short of changing the image to bitmap and losing quality?

    Should work fine with a psd file, strange... Try this:
    Check if you have a clipping path into your file
    if not:
    - open you image in Photoshop
    - select all you image (Ctrl+A or Cmd+A)
    - Create a new document with transparent background (it should have the size of what you just copied)
    - go back to your first image and with the magic wand select what will be white
    - go back to the new doc,and paste
    - Save to PSD file, do not forget to tick the add layers feature, eventually remove the profile if there is one
    IN Indesign, import you file. you shouldn't have to modify your image to get what you want
    Other idea (kind of old-fashionned but good trick)
    -make your image negative with Ctrl or Cmd + I (black text, white background), you can then flatten the whole thing
    -Convert your grey image to bitmap (1bit) with Threshold 50%
    -save to tiff
    In indesign, import the file, select you image unelect you rimage select it again with the white arrow then change the color to "paper" of whatever color you want.

  • I blocked some images from myspace by mistake. How can I unblock them?

    I play a my space app called Hotties For Sale. I inadvertently blocked some images from the app. This includes operating buttons and some photos. The only info I can find is "Block images from x.myspacecdn.co... How do I get these images back? Can you help please?

    With myspace on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see the [[site identity button]] article) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
    First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
    Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
    This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see [[Images or animations do not show]].
    Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

  • Weird blocks on image after using adjustment brush in ACR

    A group of people took an online webinar yesterday.  The instructor is a heavy Adjustment Brush user, in LightRoom.  After taking the class, many of the students in the group are reporting the appearance of weird blocks on images, after using the Adjustment Brush - both in LR and in ACR.  It is also happening to me.  I am a heavy Photoshop and ACR user - never before have I seen this.  The only thing I'm doing differently is using the Adjustment Brush (because of the webinar class, as it was part of the instructor's core teachings).  What could be causing this?

    There was an adjustment brush bug in older versions of ACR. I first reported it here, and Eric Chan acknowledged the problem. It went away in future releases. Sorry, I can't remember what version numbers were involved.

  • I'm using FF 5 and tried using the block all images feature. It blocks all images, but also blocks all the images on sites I've specified NOT to block. Any way to fix this?

    When I examine the page info it lists it as unblocked/allowed for images, but it's still not showing any. It's ignoring any exceptions I list.
    Macbook Pro 3,1, Leopard 10.5.8

    You do not specify whether to block or show a specific image.<br />
    You specify a domain when you block an image and all images from that domain are blocked.<br />
    You can't use this to block a specific image.
    You can look at Adblock Plus.
    * Adblock Plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
    You need to subscribe to a Filter list (e.g. the EasyList).

  • Interactive Blocked Sites Allowing the Site Through

    I created a web content rule underneath a policy that does an interactive block on certain web categories. I tested it last week and it worked as expected. I randomly did a test this morning while watching the real-time monitoring and it showed the action was an "Interactive Block" but from my test machine, it was still easily browsing all the content on what was showing as being blocked in the event log.
    The status showed the policy was up to date on the device and applied. I put a description in for the name of the policy and reapplied it. Once it was applied I tested the same site from the same device and now it was correctly blocking the site.
    I went back a few minutes later and tested again and now it is allowing the same site through while showing in the log that it is doing an interactive block.
    This is on a 5506-X and at the latest version of everything.
    Can anyone explain this result or should this be a TAC case?
    Thank you.

    I had create an ACP blocking gambling, and other blocking Facebook application but when i check connection events i see that the connection its been blocked but in the user PC i can browse through those sites.
    Regards.

  • Text block as image -- should I care?

    It was pointed out to me that most of the text on my site is an image, rather than lines of text. All of the text on my site was typed onto the site into text blocks, and none of it was cut and pasted. I did use Garamond for the font.
    A few threads have covered this topic, which I have read.
    Two of those blocks of text-as-image are on my home page and the text in those blocks appears in Google (on the listing of the site on the first "search result" -- or whatever it is called -- page).
    Doesn't this mean that the text in those "text-as-image blocks" (sorry for all the quote marks, but I don't know the real names of these things) are indeed searchable by google, even if they are images rather than lines of text?
    I have tried cutting and pasting the text into TextEdit and then repasting the text back but that didn't solve the problem.
    So:
    1. Does any of this really matter to the search engines and the ability of people to find text on my pages? Or for some weird reason does the home page act differently than the other pages?
    2. Does anyone have a consistent solution to this problem?
    3. Is this something that Apple may think significant enough to have already fixed for the next version -- which I hope is out in a couple of months?
    But mainly, should I even care?
    Thanks!
    Mark

    1. Does any of this really matter to the search
    engines and the ability of people to find text on my
    pages? Or for some weird reason does the home page
    act differently than the other pages?
    No and no. It sounds like your page is already coming up in the search results...graphic or text? It doesn't matter.
    2. Does anyone have a consistent solution to this
    problem?
    Not sure that it is a problem that needs fixing.
    3. Is this something that Apple may think
    significant enough to have already fixed for the next
    version -- which I hope is out in a couple of
    months?
    Again, I doubt that Apple sees it as a problem. iWeb converts text into an image for a reason.... your happiness. Most people would probably want to have a webpage that looks the way it is supposed to look (the way they want it to look). Most people probably don't care about text converted to image as long as it looks the way they expect it to look. This is why iWeb does the text to graphic conversion....to ensure uniform and consistent rendering of the text on the page. I think many, many more people would be upset if iWeb allowed them to put different fonts and text effects on a page and then left it up to a browser to determine how those fonts and effects were to be rendered.
    But mainly, should I even care?
    I think in the grand scheme of things, you shouldn't care. But that's just my humble opinion.

  • Please confirm: More than 1 block of images per Journal page?

    I seem to remember (in a Steve Jobs demo?) that more than one row of images with attached title and text could be placed on one Journal page, but I cannot find how to do this from the Aperture interface or its documentation. can someone confirm that this can be done?
    eg: (all on page 1)
    img1 img2
    title
    text block
    img3 img4
    another title
    another text block
    (btw, my analysis of the html templates would indicate that this is not possible because there can only be one rkid="pictureblock" table per page.)

    Drag your first two images onto the page.
    Click on the little '+T' button to add a new text block at the bottom, then move the mouse over the text box and you should see a button at the right side of it that toggles between text and title.
    Click '+T' again to add your text block.
    Drag new images onto the page, moving around near the bottom of the text box - when you see a horizontal green 'insert' line drop the images and they will form a new image block.
    Lather, rinse, repeat. By the way, dropping images on a horizontal line will make a new group, on a vertical line will add to that group.

  • Apex 4.0 interactive reports and images

    To the community,
    I haven't had a chance to do a decent search before bed, but I was wondering if anyone had links to good examples on OTN, someone's blog, apex.oracle.com etc, but I thought I'd put the question out there overnight.
    I have a table that contains my blob/mimetype/filename information, and I'd like to create a sample interactive report that displays the image in the blob in all three formats - standard interactive report, using the icon view, and using the detail view.
    Note I'm not referring to images that may be in the repository or file system - but within in a table.
    For whatever reasons I was losing the battle this afternoon, I was just wondering if anyone knew of good concise examples, such as this for using images in form & classic report pages.
    http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/db/apex/r31/apex31nf/apex31blob.htm
    Cheers,
    Scott

    I have finally replicated the solution, with the help of the following thread
    Confusion with get_blob_file_src
    found when searching "broken image" as one of the keywords.
    Such a horrible and non-intuitive solution to get images displayed in an interactive report!
    Hopefully the Apex team can work on improving this in future releases...

  • Interactive Form with images from KM ??

    hello: I need to read an image from km to incorporate it in Interactive Form, but for some reason when being generated the Form does not show it. The subject to dynamically obtain the images from km.
    Thank you very much.

    Hello,
    Please review this link to import a KM image:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/kmc/getting%2ban%2bimage%2bfrom%2bkm%2bdocument%2bto%2bbe%2bused%2bin%2bweb%2bdynpro
    Now you must put the image to an attribute of context of type string. For it you do the following thing:
    //Reading the image file......
         BufferedInputStream bufIn = new BufferedInputStream(resourceimg.getContent().getInputStream());
         byte[] imagebyte = new byte[bufIn.available()];
         bufIn.read(imagebyte);
    //Convertir a String
         String imgString=new BASE64Encoder().encode(imagebyte);
         wdContext.currentContextElement().setImgString(imgString);
    Finally, in the Form you must add a Image Field, with the following properties:
    -Tab field
    URL: empty
    Embebed Image Data
    - Tab Binding
    Default Binding: $record.ImgString
    That is.
