Mouthpiece and earpiece dont work in 9810

Hi All,
I have a very undusual problem with my new Torch 9810. Suddenly the mouthpiece and earpiuece stop working as I am unable to listen to incoming calls and the reciever of my call is unable to listen to me. The phone rings fine but there is no voice. Even when I am making a call, I dint hear the ring tone whereas the reciever phone is ringing. This problem can be resolved by wiping all my data (format) and reactivating my enterprise account.
Has any body else faced this issue earlier or does anyone know of any fix. Have tried all setting options but can not fugure out.

Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.

    There was probably a network error while downloading, try to delete the song and redownload it.
    Delete the version in your library.

  • Keyboard and mousse dont work on login screen, recovery failed to start

    one of the best ever, im trying not to throw this laptop through the window . not because im being reasonable, but because I have shitty neighboors .

    HP pavillion DV6 windows 7 , i7 core
    1/ mousse and keyboard works fine before it shows the login screen.
         STOPS working both even when i connect USB keyboard and mousse on normal and safe mode
         the shortcuts on top of the keyboard still works though (screen light, volume control, wireless on/off ... etc )
    2/ my recovery fail to start
    3/ tried the battery thing stil mousse and keyboard NOT working
    4/ I also managed to run command prompt with windows 7 DVD in french (not compatible) but helped me run
    chkdsk C: /r /f
    and
    chkdsk D: /r /f   
    means hard drive is ok, but recovery still fail to start and asks to run recovery from windows CD (I dont have one, and I dont want to loose my windows license)
    how to either fix recovery or keyboard/mousse
    I fixed more than 500 pc in my life, I cant fix mine now

    Hello zgued.  I understand you're having some trouble with your keyboard and mouse.
    If you were to reboot your computer and access the BIOS using the F10 button does the keyboard work there?
    Which dv6 do you own?  Identifying the notebook by the product number is the most helpful.  This document can show you where it is located.
    Have you ever taken the notebook apart?  The symptoms you describe would fit with a damaged or loosened cable inside the notebook.
    I feel that I should first help you troubleshoot the recovery issue.  I say this because performing the recovery will rule out software issues with a 99% certainty.  So, what was the problem you faced during a recovery?  Do you get any errors?

  • Reset from IDS4210 and IDSM2 dont work

    I've following Issue:
    Reset from IDS dont work when Reset interface attached to IOS running switch, or IDSM2 Blade is in IOS Switch.
    I've found many configuration examples how configure reset from IDS but all of them characterize ONLY
    how to configure CAT OS switch,not IOS.
    1.I've configured Sygnature to be Reset,
    2.I've started Attack from Internet to DMZ Server
    3.IDS Matched Attack, send 100 resets in both directions, to server and to me. I can see it on IDS CLI, and on switch port input packets are increase.
    4.But the resets packets never arrive me or server.

    Native IOS is more restrictive than Cat OS.
    If you are monitoring using VACL Capture in Native IOS then the capture is not allowed to receive ingress packets (the tcp resets):

    –The capture port supports only egress traffic. No traffic can enter the switch through a capture port.
    The same is also true if you are using Span in Native IOS:

    When you configure a port as a SPAN destination port, it can no longer receive any traffic.
    So a IDS-4210 connected to a Native IOS switch and monitoring with either VACL Capture or Span will not be able to send resets into the switch.
    The IDSM-2, however, should not have this issue.
    The IDSM-2 does not send resets back out the same port that is being used for monitoring.
    Instead the IDSM-2 has a separate reset port.
    In Cat OS this reset port is /1, and in Native IOS the user doesn't even see the port since no configuration of the port is necessary.
    The reset port is (by default) a 802.1q trunk port of all vlans.
    So the IDSM-2 should be able to monitor with either VACL Capture or Span and still be able to send TCP Resets to reset the connections.
    We have, however, discovered recently that there is one vlan where this does not work. Vlan 1 traffic is not being properly reset. Vlan 1 is being treated differently by the data port monitoring the traffic, and the reset port. One of the ports is using 802.1q trunk headers for vlan 1 while the other port does not. So the resets are being rejected by the switch.
    So if you are monitoring on vlan 1 then the resets won't work, but the resets should work for all other vlans.
    (This affects only Native IOS).

    When i try to open iTunes it just gives me an error message, windows immediatly comes up with iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close with options of debug, send error report, or dont send. What do i do to get iTunes working again?. I tried to see if QT works and when i try to open it it gives another error,
    something about "buffer overrun detection". I have XP I have uninstall, install, clean files run spy ware and all that and i cant get it to work please help it was working two days ago until I upgrade and then it stop working

    iTunes can't work if Quicktime doesn't.
    For this buffer overrun error, start with full virus and spy ware check which from what you said you have already done.
    Next go to your control panel and try to run your Quicktime preferences.
    Do you get an error message? If so give it exactly and in full just as it appears.
    Next have you installed any extra codecs on your PC? The following are know to be associated with this problem:
    ACE & K-Lite mega codecs package, QT alternative, Storm codec

  • Mail app and Safari dont work after updating to 10.6.8

    Hello there,
    i've got a serious problem, mail 4.6 isn't sending mails and safari doesn't open (it shoes an alert about a crash).
    Things I did befor all that happened:
    1- I organized my Programms inside de application folder. I moved some programmes inside a folder inside de applications folder. I guess this may cause some trouble when updating the system.
    2- I made the automatic software uptade from my computer. (combo 10.6.8, followed by the security update).
    3- After that I realised that mail hadnt upgraded. It wa still mail 4.5. So I moved all the programs back where they where before (I took them out of the sub-folders) and reinstaled only mail 4.6 from the internet. I did the same with Safari.
    4- After this mess I saw that mail 4.6 was full of problems. First the sent mails where all crazy, with different addresses... And after a while it didnt even worked anymore to send emails.
    5- So I reinstaled all the 10.6.8 and the security again. The first time I tried the computer crashed. Then I tried again. Now it got even worse. Safari shows a problem (report) and Mail 4.6 continues not sending mails just receiving them. 
    6- I dont know what to do??

  • I get the "getPlusPlus_Adobe_reg.exe" Application Error everytime Firefox starts and plugins dont work, please help?

    I have tried unistalling Firefox, deleting the folder in program files and re-installing from the latest installer (3.6.8) but still get the same error message. When I go to sites with flash apps or video they wont show but do in IE8,. I have all the latest versions. This problem has been ongoing for a few weeks now while IE8 works fine. Everytime I open Firefox I get the pop-up box with the above title and a message saying "The Instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program.

    Remove the getplus (Adobe download manager) from your computer. You don't need it; it causes problems for a lot of users. See:

  • [Solved] Mouse and Keyboard Dont Work After BIOS Update

    I spent the last few hours in windows 7 trying to prove to the guys over at MSFN that my problem wasn't driver or bios related by updating to the latest drivers and upgrading my bios to the most recent version. After I was finished I decided to boot back into arch to work some more on my custom kernel (since oddly it had the same problem before the bios update, the mouse and keyboard worked on one boot but once i rebooted into it again they no longer worked) and found that the keyboard and mouse no longer worked, thinking I had rebooted into the custom kernel by accident I rebooted and selected the default kernel once again only to find that the mouse and keyboard still didn't work.
    Any ideas on how to fix this? I really don't want to reinstall since I just installed it last night.
    Edit: Another silly mistake, i had renamed the original xorg.conf and never put back when I was finished. This makes me wonder why KDM even started up at all though.

    Try resetting the iPhone...
    Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    I tried to install the snow leopard 10.6.2 update. it froze near the end. afterward, I restarted my computer only to find that itunes, safari and my dashboard, do not work. They each claim to "quit unexpectedly".
    Also my Software Update (in preferences), says my installed software include: Mac OS X update 10.6.1, Itunes 9.0.1, and THREE different Mac OS X Update 10.6.2 updates
    I am also In china until february and left my snow leopard disc in the States. I am not very tech savvy and if anybody could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

    Hi, I originally used the Software update. That is when I first encountered the errors. So I tried to install the combo updater thinking that would help. It did not. Now I cannot redownload any. they each get about 5 or 10 MB's into the download, when it says download is complete, and then something pops up and says it is not recognized by os x (probably because the download is incomplete...

    DV6-6c50US - windows 7
    When I type a key consecutively, it works only once. Example: I type 'business', it appears as 'busines' 
    Same case with any keys including arrow keys. 
    I tried various options with Character Repear in Control panel, but no use.
    Also, I hear keypad tones which I have never heard in my laptop earlier.
    Not sure, how to get this fixed.

    Hi,
    One thing worth checking is as follows.
    From windows Control Panel, open the Ease of Access Centre and click on the link 'Make the keyboard Easier to Use'.  If there is a tick in the box next to 'Turn on Sticky Keys' or 'Turn on Filter Keys', remove these and then click Apply to make the change to see if this resolves the issue.
