Move a block of pages?

In two different sections, I have completed, illustrated pages that should join together within one of the sections.
I wish to shove a block of pages from one section into another.
The normal copy/paste will take text across, but not the images.
Is there a good way to do this?

Page content includes illustrations, movies, tables and text. I cane section and paste it, but there seems to be no way to join one section INTO another.
I've considered trying to copy one section as a large extension onto the one that needs the pages, and while I can copy a whole section and paste it, there seems to be no way to join one section INTO another.

It never worked that way in Pages '09. You have to copy and paste the Thumbnails.
That no longer works in Pages 5. Sounds like you are not copying and pasting content because that certainly works. Read what VikingOS wrote and do precisely what he said.

Look under:
System preferences > Network > WiFi > ( Advanced ) > DNS

There should be two or more IP addresses there.
Those addresses should be EXACTLY the ones your current ISP provided when you signed up for service. They do not start with 85 or 86 -- those are hacker sites.

When I try setting up the new myyahoo page, you have a shield blocking the page, but when I try to tell you to stop blocking, your page comes up with checking certificate to allow exception, but then after checking it tells me it has a valid certificate and does need an exception, but you still keep blocking. I need you to stop blocking my yahoo so I can set up the page as it was before switching to the newest version. If this can't be fixed, I will have to stop using Mozilla. I know this is set up as a safety for me, but it's not working. This page has a valid certificate, so you shouldn't be blocking it.

Hi widowward, is the certificate error for the main page or for something embedded in the page?
If you right-click the error part, do you find "This Frame" on the right-click menu? If so, please expand "This Frame" and use Open in a New Tab. Then copy the address from the address bar and paste it back here in a reply. (I'll try to get back to you more promptly, so go ahead and leave that tab open.)
If the error is for My Yahoo itself, that's strange. If you expand the sections of the error page, what is the technical explanation? If you try the Add Exception dialog and view the certificate, do you see a different issuer than I see (attached)?

i hav a smartform with two pages.
the fist page contains the Main window and 3 Secondary windows.
in the 1st page i'm displaying some line items and in the main window i gave the command to
go to Page 2.
the 2nd page contains only one Secondary Window.
in that i want to display a table with many line items.
if it contains only 20 line items its works fine; becoz of the window size.
how can i move to a new page if it contains more line items?

Hi,
You need to create main Window on second page also.
And in Form Attributes..there is an option for Next page.
So there you mention the next page name.
This will solve the problem.

If you right click on the image on the page in the context menu select photo box alignment and then select one of scale to fit {centered, Left-aligned, Right-aligned}
That should do what you are loking for.

Embedding a Flash movie on a secure page

Hi,
I've used the Dreamweaver CS3 wizard to embed a Flash movie
in an ASP page and it works fine.
However, when I move the page on a SSL connection the Flash
movie won't display. If I change all the
http:// references to https:// in the scripts
(like I saw on an old post) I only get a white box instead of the
movie.
Please see the attached bit of code.
The old post I read was referring to an old version of Flash
but I doubt that it would make a difference?

Newb - embedding a MOV in a web page and "locking" it?

I am aiming at producing online tutorials on my web site.
I've used iShowU to capture the screen and intend to edit the video in FCP.
My question is: when I embed the tutorial video (a MOV file) in my web page, I don't want the viewer to be able to download it to his machine or somehow extract it from my website.
Is there a way of "locking" MOV files so they can't be downloaded?

I don't know whether this would work, or would suit you, but you could investigate hosting the movies on YouTube, which I believe does not allow downloading: you can embed these movies in a web page. However I don't know whether the method mentioned by the previous poster would be inhibited by this.

Need to select and move images across multiple pages...

Hi,
I am using Indesign CS2 on a Windows machine and have a 25 page document with 4-up photos (4"X6") on individual pages. I used the ImageCatalog javascript to load these images so I don't seem to have any control from the Master page. I would like to group and move these images to a different location on their own pages.
Do you know how to select these images across multiple pages? Or can a simple script be written to process this task?

A script can certainly do what you want to do--but you have to be a bit more specific. Do you want to move them to different pages in some predefined way, or do you just want to adjust them a bit on the pages they're already on?

Switch between multiple quicktime movies on a single page

I want them to play in a single window but use clickable links to switch between .mov files. I am working in DW CS5.

It depends on the code you are using to play the movies but it could be done with javascript. Although unless you are streaming the Quicktime movies, like a youtube, you will be forcing the user to download all the movies to load the page. If they are not setup to stream then you might want to load a separate page for each movie. If you show us the code you are currently using to play the movie we can help you through the process.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Unfortunately, a number of users appear to have encountered this problem. Some of these users have reported that the problem just disappears the following day or shortly after. Other users have found various other solutions to this problem.
Firstly, are you receiving any date and time errors when you turn on your Apple TV?
Check that you are properly connected to the Internet, by ensuring that you have a proper IP address and not one starting with 169. Also check that your location for the iTunes Store is set correctly, if so you might try changing it and then changing it back.
If the problem persists try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router, or if this doesn't work you might like to try a restore.

Today i cant delete, move or create new pages.
When i delete, move or create new pages - my Indesign CS5.5 program "freezes"
Only with CTR: + ALT + SHIFT i can stopped my program.
Аfter reopening everything was as before!
I try to export like a *.idml file, but my program crashes! Every time!
My OS is: Windows 7
Indesign CS5.5
Please help me

Yes, it is able!
It sounds like there may be a corrupt bit of text, or an image in the file. It may be possible to isolate a page, and then an object, using "Divide and Conquer."
Start with a copy of the file, for safety. Try to export the front half and the back half separately. If either half crashes, divide it in half aand try to export those halves. Repeat the process until you have isolated a page that crashes. Now remove half the objects from that page and try to export. If it works, put those back and remove the other half and try again. Repeat as above until you isolate an object.

If you use the "util.scand" method date validation is part of the process. It either returns the number of milliseconds from the Epoch date used by JavaScript for the date time object the null value.
Date Arithmetic has some sample scripts, but you need to keep in mind that Date and Time are not independent and using "new Date()" returns the date and time at the time that line of code is executed and that can cause issues for the computing of dates only.
Are you sure of day count, most differences include the start and end dates in the number of days for the calculation.
Custom calculation for today's date field (format is None):
