Move all scene markers along with clips

My project is about half completed, and I realized I want to add another clip to its start, before the main soundtrack starts. I can easily select the soundtrack and all of the clips on the Video 1 track to move them all at once, but is there any way to move the scene markers at this same time? I've already spent the time to put in a bunch of markers at key points in the soundtrack, and I don't want to have to completely redo this when I move the soundtrack.

In PE, I do not believe that there is. Hope that someone will prove me wrong.
In PrPro, there are several types of Markers. The true Scene Markers are referenced to a frame in a Clip. These move with that Clip. Other Markers are all referenced to a time on the Track, so they do not move with any Clip. I believe that this will be the case of the Markers available in PE. If I'm still in the editing phase, I will only use the Scene Markers (PrPro), so that they DO move with their respective Clip's reference frame. It's not until I'm done and the client has given approval, that I will add other types of Markers.

This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I have limited experience with Synchronization, but I agree with you - if you need to synchronize Passwords, you need to have the Password in clear Text.
If you trying to build your own Synchronization Solution using any of the avaliable LDAP APIs, I don't think you can ever retrieve a user's Password in clear text.

How to get all parameter names along with their values in stored procedure which is being executed

Im using sql server 2012, is there any possible way to get all the parameters of a stored procedure along with the values passed to it.
I need these things to build a xml. I mean this should happen in the procedure which being executed and it should be common for all the procedures.
For example, let us suppose we have to procedures,
uspSave, @name='test' @age=20
uspDelete @id=2
now in uspSave procedure, i need to get @name, @age and the values 'test', 20 and in uspDelete, i should get @id with value 2.
For getting the column names, i tried this,
select parameter_name from information_schema.PARAMETERS where specific_name=OBJECT_NAME(@@procid)
now is it possible to loop through the result of above query and can we get the values.

I think you need running SQL Server Profiler to capture this info even in SQL Server 2012.

Media Manage - Is there a way to move all your connected data with 1 click?

Ok, I am an idiot, there it's out of the way
I usually tell people when editing to store everything in 1 file or keep it together. I started this editing project and thought it wasn't as big as it is now, and now I have files spread everywhere
can you use the media manager function to gather up everything up and put it inot one source file?

One source file? No. You have several files and they will remain several files. HOWEVER, you can use the media manager to move all the files to one location.

Bring in .psd file along with clipping path

Okay, this client has a very odd request. They want a collage of images put together in one file and they want the clipping paths to be attached. Then it's to be saved as an eps file. I'd like to do this in InDesign rather than Photoshop because the clipping path stays with the image in InDesign when you move it. However, I don't know how to save the file as an .eps file with the clipping paths attached. I open the .eps files in Photoshop and there are no clipping paths present.
Help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

My suggestion is to compose the entire collage in Photoshop. And if you need to preserve the clipping paths of each image of the finished collage, then convert the clipping path to a vector mask. Then you can drag a layer (that will include image and path) into one photoshop file to make collage.
Here are the instructions from previous post to convert a path into a vector mask.
To create a vector mask in PS, select the path in the Path Panel, then under Layer menu > Vector Mask > Current Path.

Can I download JPG, RAW, MOV from Canon 7D along with helmet cam MOV's

I'll be going on a motorbike trip this summer and I'd rather take an iPad with a camera kit to download my Canon 7D jpgs, raw, and mov files. I also have a helmet cam that outputs MOV movies.
Will this kit allow me to download all these files? I'm not concerned in the least about previewing any of this stuff. I simply want the ipad to store the files until I get home.
Once I get home, how do I move the files to my macbook?

Jpg and .mov files yes, I'm not sure if the iPad can read raw format.

Installed newest iTunes. iTunes screen has NO menus at all. All menus missing along with all music info and song titles. Any thoughts?

Just installed newest iTunes. The iTunes screen is missing ALL menus (menu bar, side bar everything is blank) All music albums have a musical note icon but NO album titles or song titles. Music plays but there is no way to know which album or which song until the music starts.

That's consistent with trouble with the Segoe UI fonts on your system.

On my 4s, I set up my existing hotmail account to my iphone email acct. but all folders appear, along with all my email contacts.

How can I restructure my contacts to be less? All my hotmail contacts show up and there are a lot of them I do not want to show. Also all my folders show up but seem empty. If you want to change iCloud accounts and keep your data go to Settings>iCloud on your phone and turn all data you are syncing with iCloud (contacts, calendars, etc.) to Off. When prompted choose to keep the data on your iPhone. After everything is turned off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, set up a new iCloud account (or sign into your other existing iCloud account) using your other ID, then turn syncing for your data (contacts, etc.) back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to your new account.

How does photo metadata get uploaded to shared Photo Stream along with the photos?

Performed upgrade to Mountain Lion so I could share Photo Streams with other people,. Trouble is all the naming, descriptions, locations of the photos do not show up in Photo Stream. Is there a way to enable this or is it just not possible?
I am migrating from sharing Picasa Web Albums to Photo Stream and would like to have all the metadata along with the photos...
I was not sure where to post this question as it is related to iCloud, iPhoto, OS X Mountain Lion, etc. The shared Photo Stream feature appeared in my version of iPhoto '11 (version 9.4.2) only after the upgrade to Mountain Lion.

Photo Stream only uses the file names and what you're changing is the Title, not file name. To get the title to be the file hame you have to export the photo out of iPhoto via the File ➙ Export ➙ File Export menu with the option to use the title as the new file name.

FINDER disappears, along with desktop icons, when I plug in external drive

Hello, All:
FINDER disappears, along with desktop icons, when I plug in an external memory card from my Nikon camera. This also happens regardless of which USB port I plug it in to. It didn't happen when I installed Leopard two weeks ago, but happens all the time now.
Interestingly, the desktop icons (hard drives and files) DO show up when I open any software program and try to open up a file. The hard drives and files show up in the Open File windows.

THANK YOU! I've been having the same problem, and the solution you linked to worked perfectly for me. Somehow, my computer's sharing name had been deleted. Once I put that back in the file sharing preference I was able to reconnect my external drive without all Hades breaking loose.
This problem came on the heels of an aborted attempt to use a new Time Capsule (not ready for prime time) which I had to drive 50 miles to take back and replace with a new WD My Book -and I was afraid I was going to have to repeat the trip to take it back as well.

No, do not re-import your images. I assume you can see the thumbnails in the library module, just cannot access the full images, right? If this is the case there should be an exclamation mark in the top right corner of every one of your pictures and you only have to tell LR where the images are now.
Click the exclamation mark of one of the images and a dialog window should pop-up, telling you that LR cannot find the file, but with an option to locate it. Press "Locate" and navigate to the folder on your new HD where the file is. If in the new external HD you kept the same folder structure that you had on the internal disk, LR will be able to find all your images and re-link them to the database without further intervention.

Encore chapter markers which move with clip

I have 9 sequences with each containing 4 Encore chapter markers. As expected in the real world, the end users continually want edits to the sequences. If I razor out a piece of a clip in the sequence, the Encore chapter markers stay fixed to the time ruler and do not move with the clip. As a result, one has to manually move each Encore chapter marker to re-align with the proper location on a clip. This is time consuming and makes no sense. Is there anyway for the Encore chapter markers to act like clip markers so they move with edits?
If not, does someone have a plugin which would look at the Encore chapter markers in a sequence and place corresponding clip markers on Video 1. After editing, the plugin could re-align the Encore chapter markers with their respective clip markers.

What is needed are Encore Chapter Clip Markers so Encore markers follow the clip. Just as you would move the current-time indicator to the frame where you want an Encore chapter point and then right click (Windows) in the time ruler and choose the type of marker, a new context menu item "Encore Chapter Clip Marker" would be available which would place an Encore chapter marker on the clip in the currently selected video track. With this, one could edit the sequence and know the Encore chapter point is still at the same frame of the clip.
I encourage others to either copy this feature description or their own version and submit it to the Feature Request Page for Premiere.

One should submit this Feature to both Premiere and Encore since both are effected. By the way, Encore has a Feature Request user form you may also want to submit this to. Premiere does not appear to have a Feature Request user form so I used the Feature Request Page mentioned above.

Stretching a clip's duration along with it's effects.

Is there a way to increase the duration of a clip's presence on the timeline while simultaneously scaling/stretching it's effects animations along with it?
Sort of like scaling an object in Illustrator, where you can enlarge something while at the same time increasing of it's live effects too, so that once done scaling, everything has increased - the objects size, along with all effects' variables so it's appearance is maintained.
(I have a somewhat complicated "appearing" animation completed for an image, involving opactiy, position, blurring, etc, but now I want all those combined animated effects to take a little longer to transprire without having to drag multiple key frames around.)

Assuming you want the clip to remain at the same speed, then no. You will have to manually move the keyframes. However, you can lasso several at once and move them simultaneously.

I made a movie in iMovie then deleted the clips in it. I have reimported the clips in an event with the same name as previously and some clips in the movie are still saying source slip missing even though they are there. What can I do?

I did that too, then I did a migration assistant to a new Mac and ALL of my movies have Source Clip Missing now, even though the original clips are still in the iPhoto Videos. I can stand to re edit one or two projects, but not ALL.
