Move code between MathScript Node and MathScript Window

It seems like there should be some way to easily move between the MathScript Node, block diagram view and the MathScript Window.
All I can find is saving to a script and reloading in the other view.
Am I missing something?

That seems to be the only way that I've been able to see to interface the MathScript Node and the MathScript Window.
Is there a particular reason you're switching back and forth between the two?

Difference between hierarchy node and single value

Hi experts,
Can anyone explain me the difference between hierarchy node and single value?
This is my problem:
I have a query that uses a characteristic (0ORGUNIT) with a hierarchy and I execute it without any problem but when I try to set a fliter on this characteristic and I try to find a single value, for example 101, it doesn't appear in the single value list, instead it appears in the hierarchy nodes list in the selection window.
I think I'm confused about both terms because I thought a hierarchy node was always the one who has one or more values as its lower levels like this:
A. 10
    A1. 100
    A2. 101
    A3. 102
         A3.1. 1021
B. 11
I this case I thought , for example, 101 was a single value but not a hierarchy node so I must find it in the single values list in the selection window, however, 102 can be both and must appear in both lists, is it true?

In BW, hierarchy node with more information compare to the single value. for example, it always carries its father node information, which it belongs to. and some time information if it is time-dependent.
So, when you using hierarchy node, it means at least 2 information: value and "position" (who is its father node)
That's the reason why you see the hierarchy tree when choosing the node.
If you want to expand the hierarchy to the certain level, you can setting in the property. Another choice is restrict in the query designer.

Interface node or methods comes into picture whenever you want to use one component as used component. I mean to say
Component usages. If you select node as interface node, it will available in another component so you can use that node or methods.
Normal node means in that component only. Simply we can say for component usages we go for interface nodes.

Communicating between the parent and child windows in Struts

Hey,
I would like to know what is the best way to communicate between the child and parent windows on a struts based web application. For example i have a struts based jsp page. I call a child window from this page. On the child window i select few values and they have to be shown on the parent. What is the best way to achieve this in struts.

The only way to do this without Javascript is to have the child window have a form and the form has a target defined as the name of the parent window (how to name it without using frames or having it open from another window, I'm not sure), and when you submit the form, it'll submit to the parent window/frame and you can process that form on the server and return the same parent page with the selected values.
Otherwise, you need Javascript to set form values to "window.opener" from the child window.
Either way, it's not really a Struts thing, technically.

Replication between 130 nodes and 1 Data Center

Hi everyone.
I have 130 database nodes (Oracle Standard Edition One) with a big distance of separation, and 1 Data Center with 3 nodes (Oracle Real Application Cluster 10g R2). The connection between nodes and datacenter is through various ISP ( WAN).
I have exactly the same model design of database in nodes and datacenter.
DataCenter is a repository of data for reporting to directors and dictate the business rules to guide all nodes.
Each node have approximately 15 machines connected with desktop application.
In other words Desktop Application with a Backend Database (node).
My idea of replication is not instantly, when a transaction commit in a node then replicate to datacenter. Also over nigth replicate images because is heavy, approximately 1 mg per image. Each image correspond to one transaction.
On the orher hand i have to replicate some data from datacenter to nodes, business rule, for example: new company names, new persons, new prohibitions, etc.
My problem is to determine th best way to replicate data through nodes to datacenter.
Please somebody could suggest me the best solution.

Last I checked, Streams and multi-master replication require enterprise edition databases at both ends, which rules them out for the sort of deployment you're envisioning.
If a given table will only ever be modified on nodes or on the master site, never both, you can build everything as read-only materialized views. This would probably require, though, that the server at the data center have 130 copies of each table, 1 per node. For schemas of any size, this obviously gets complicated very quickly. For asynchronous replcation to work, you'd need to schedule periodic refreshes, which assumes that you have relatively stable internet connections between the nodes and the data center.
I guess I would tend to question the utility of having so many nodes. Is it really necessary to have so many? Or could you just beef up the master and have everyone connect directly?

The router is te network hub.
I have a network between my Linux box and my PC and my MBP because they are both hooked up the the same router. All you need is the "192.168.1.x" address of the destination box and the software needed for the type of conection (VNC, SSH, etc).
What helps is to set up "static routing" for all boxes so the IP address does not change. I have set up my Linux box to be 192.168.1.100 always, using the MAC (the ethernet abbreviation MAC, not Macintosh) in the router's "static routing" table.
Exactly which screens you need in the router depends on te router make and the internal management screens. The router maker should have either online (if they offer it past a 1 year from purchase) or online help found through Google. A MAC address is a set of 6 hexadecimal number separated by ":" -- an example (which I imagine will match *some* MAC *somewhere* is "6A:13:F2:72:E4:A1".

The lease timeout between avaiability group and the Windows Server Failover Cluster has expired

Hi,
I am having some issues where I get a lease timeout from time to time. I have a Windows 2012 Failover Cluster with 2 nodes and 2 SQL 2012 Always-on Availability Groups. Both nodes
are a physical machines and each node is the primary for an AG.
From what I understand if
the HealhCheckTimeout
is exceeded without the signal exchange the lease is declared 'expired' and the SQL Server resource dll reports that the SQL Server availability group no longer 'looks alive' to the Windows cluster manager. Here are the properties I have setup
which are the default settings:
LeaseTimeout - 20000
HealthCheckTimeout - 30000
VerboseLoging - 0>
FailureConditionLevel – 3
Here are the events that occur in the Application Event Viewer:
Event ID 19407:
The lease between availability group 'AG_NAME' and the Windows Server Failover Cluster has expired. A connectivity issue occurred between the instance of SQL Server and the Windows Server Failover
Cluster. To determine whether the availability group is failing over correctly, check the corresponding availability group resource in the Windows Server Failover Cluster.
Event ID 35285:
The recovery LSN (120881:37533:1) was identified for the database with ID 32. This is an informational message only. No user action is required.
SQl server logs are too long to post in this box but I can send them if you request.
The AG is setup to failover automatically but it did not failover. I am trying to figure out why the lease timed out. Thanks.

From what I've been able to find out, this is due to an issue with the procedure sp_server_diagnostics. It sounds like the cluster is expecting this procedure to regularly log good status "Clean" in the log files, but the procedure is designed not
to flood the logs with "Clean" messages, so only reports changes, and does not make an entry when the last status was "Clean" and the current status is "Clean". The result is that the cluster looks to be unresponsive. However, once it initiates
the failover, the primary machine responds, since it was never really down, and the failover operation stops.
The end result is that there really never is a failover, but the database becomes unavailable for a few minutes while this is resolved.
I'm going to try setting the cluster's failure condition level to 2 (instead of 3) and see if that prevents the down time.

It sounds like you have redeemed a movie code and nothing appeared to happen when you did so. Once redeemed, the movie should appear in your purchased history. Use this to verify it is there, and available for download:

However, I have little idea which to node to use.

Some comments on capabilities of MathScript versus Matlab and recently the
new ScieLab 5.2. I started using it for LV8.2 for work involving quantum noise statistics in image sensors . Although it has increased more analysis functions and speed for each new LabVIEW release, there are serious limitations of this tool. So its probably only good as some small code insertions between codes for hardware calls for processing signals when they become available as arrays. First, "not all functions is supported in LabVIEW Runtime" e.g. get (), set () etc. so scripts stays as long as LV Development environment stays with it to execute it. Second is - it still does not support "multi-dimensional arrays" - consider for example converting an RGB image to an array in LabVIEW and wiring the result as input node array here [nn,mm,nc] = size(array); can't work but [nn,mm] = size(array); don't receive a complain - in other words we can't go beyond 2D array math with MathScript. The third, is Mathlab will not work entirely with calls to Matlab or Scielab toolkits (Scielab nodes only works on LV8.0 to 8.2 for lower than 5.2) . So m-scripts should be written carefully inside these nodes! Forget cell arrays {}, forget structs, forget multidimensional arrays. Fourth, is that you can define m-functions and actually execute it but only on a MathScript Window, you need to actually wire in every text on the script inside a MathScript in a new VI identifying all the entries and exit node variables to connect to. If your trying to save ~USD$5K for a Matlab license and felt you need to do it in "hybrid style programming" interfacing the IO instrumentation capability of LabVIEW with the efficient array processing in Matlab - you probably need to work with them together anyway because you need to cut and paste every command you did in Matlab to the command window of MathScript - type help for each keyword built-in function and observe how they behave if at all they do the same thing or not.

You always choose datatypes for input and output, can you give little more info about your program or vi what exaclty you want to do.

Premiere element 12 crashes when I move clips between video 1 and 2

What operating system are you using? What processor does your computer have, how much RAM do you have and how much free, clean space is on your hard drive? When did you last run Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter?
Have you ensured that you have the latest version of Quicktime from Apple.com?
What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is it?
When you add the video to your timeline in Expert view, is there a yellow orange line along the top of the timeline, above your clips? This would indicate a mismatch between the program's project settings and your video specs?

Bug: syntax error in code editor breaks layout and redrawing windows incorrect

I'm working with "SQL Developer" version:
Oracle IDE    4.0.0.13.80
Plataforma Java(TM)    1.7.0_45
installed on windows 7 64 bits.
when I execute some ddl command in the code editor with syntax error, all layout windows are incorrectly drawn, and I have to close "SQL Developer" application to go on.
Example:
   COMMENT ON COLUMN "TABLE"."COLUMN1" IS 'comments on column 1';
   COMMENT ON COLUMN "TABLE"."COLUMN2" AS 'comments on column 2';
First comment is correctly aplied but second comment has a syntax error (AS is wrong) but you no receive error output, layout it hangs.
I tested with thick/OCI and using jdbc, and I always go to the same problem.

My iTunes rented movie plays for 24 seconds and then Windows 7 says it needs to close down the program. Help.

The movie is downloaded, I know where it is, I can start in different chapters, but it only works for 24 seconds before it shuts down and I have to close the program. I have uninstalled iTunes, Quick Time and downloaded and installed after restarting my computer. How can I watch the movie? In the past, it has worked, but this is the second time I try and I just lose my rental. Please help.

Ok. So I created a new account and iTunes did work. I went back into my original account and tried again and just to be more clear, after I open iTunes it asks me to accept or decline the agreement, I do that, then it says "updating library", and then one all the bars are full it closes and says "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close."
okay, let's start working through the user-account-specific causes of this message.
one possibility is damaged itunes preference files in the user account in which you're getting the crash. (there's a different set of those in each different user account, which is how we can get crashes limited to a single user account.)
if that is what is going on, we can often get past this by rebuilding the preference files in the account that is crashing. for the preference files rebuild technique, see my reply to kusma in this post:
