Move content from DTR to DTR

Hi all,
some Time ago, we startet with NWDS development. We started to use one of our SAP machines as DTR. Now this machine is to be removed in a couple of weeks.
How can we move the DTR content from the old server to the new server? Is there a way?
Best regards,
Christian Schebesta

We've done this using the dtr command line tool. I don't exactly remember the commands, sorry. After copying from one server to the other the files on the new repo will be locked and need to be unlocked.

  • TS1474 What am I doing wrong? I move content from a cd to my iTunes library on the computer, but when I try to load a song on my iPhone, the red circle appears and I can't do it, even though I have sync-ed the devices.  Any solutions?

I am frustrated!  I add content to my iTunes library from a cd, then find that I am unable to load it.  When I click and drag an item to my device, the red NO symbol appears and I am unable to load it onto my phone, although I have synced the devices.  I AM able to do this without issue on another computer.  Help!

The number of devices authorized on an account and the number that an iPhone can sync to are two different things. You can now authorize up to 5 computers or 10 devices to play your content, but still an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch can only be tied to one computer at a time. You can copy content from other computers to the computer used for syncing, and get it on the iPhone that way.
Connect the phone to that computer, whichever you want to be the "master" of the iPhone. Click on its name in iTunes. On the right there is a Summary screen. Scroll down it and you will see several checkboxes. One of them is "Manually manage music and videos". If this is checked you must drag content from iTunes to the iPhone. If you have a large library, however, this can be cumbersome.
The alternative is to leave this box unchecked, and instead click on the "Music" tab when the phone is connected. You can then just check the content you want on the phone, by artist, genre, title, playlist, etc. After checking you click the "Update" or "Sync" button and everything you have checked syncs automatically.

  • How do I move content from one file to another ?

    Hi,
I have two separate DVD Studio Pro files that I created a while back (single-sided DVD).
Now I want to put them both on a dual layer DVD. However, I can't figure out for the life of me how to copy content between files. I don't want to "recreate" one of the DVDs from scratch.
How do I move the menus, tracks, stories, etc from one DVD Studio Pro file to another ?
    Thanks,
    Damon

You do not need to move the media into the new project assuming all the media is available and on the same hard drive. Usually I keep all DVD SP projects and media on an external drive so it is easy-ish to do. Of course if you copy the assets into the folder for a project it makes thingss easier to move around to other drives. In other words I will create a Poject folder called "MYPROJECT" and in there I will placefolders "MYPROJECTM2Vs", "MYPROJECTAC3S", "MYPROJECTGRAPHICS" etc so if I have to move projects to other computers easier to re-link. Takes up a bit more room if you use the same asset in more than one project but with the costs of Drives so low right now it is worth the lkess hassle to me...
What is the error you are getting?

  • Can I move content from my Apple TV to a different comp?

I bought my parents an Apple TV years ago and uploaded a bunch of photos and movies for them from the ibook I had back then. I've since moved out and sold the ibook. They now want to upload more stuff from there PC onto the hard drive of the Apple tv. Is there a way to sync a new computer without deleting everything that's on the Apple tv? Or anyway of getting the files off of the Apple tv?

Welcome to the  Discussion Forums
Unfortunately you cannot do this, if you sync with a new computer all the original content will be deleted.
You could set up their computer as a secondary library though which would let them stream from their PC, whilst maintaining the primary library.

  • Move content from Library1 in sitecollectionA to library2 in sitecollectionB

    Hi All,
I have configured the content organizer for two sitecollection A & B. The send to connection has also been created successfully.
Now when I move some document from a library in sitecollnA to sitecollectionB it goes to drop off library.
I want it to directly go to other library in sitecollectionB? But where should i configure this.

you can create a content deployment path & job...this will be done from central administration
    OR
you can create a workflow to do this
    OR
you can create a event handler to move the data whenever a new data is added or updated
    OR
you can write custom code pass ...you can invoke a aspx page from custom command action menu say "Send to other List" and in aspx code behind you can write code to create/update item in other mapped list

  • Can you move content from one Creative to anoth

hi, i just got the creative zen 40g mp3 player and i already have a fully loaded 5g Creative Zen micro. is there an easy way to take what is loaded in the 5g and move it to the 40g or do i have to start from scratch? thanks anyone

Yes, just use Creative Mediasource to rip the tracks from your smaller player to your PC music library, and then connect your larger player to the USB and drag these tracks to this player.

  • How to move content from one Apple ID to another?

When I first started with Apple, I shared an Apple ID with my dad because I only had an iPod. Now that I have an iPhone, iPad, and Mac, I need to have my own Apple ID. Is there a way to move everything currently on my phone (music, sms messages, contacts, photos) to my new Apple ID? I have looked in the threads and I know this question has been asked before, but none of the answers really made complete sense to me....so dumb it down a little? Thank you in advance!

See http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2689 and http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5902 for information on sharing calendars and photos through iCloud.  Contacts are not included in the sharing from one ID to another.

  • Storing and streaming movie content from desktop to ATV

Newb questions: 1) If I purchase and store a bunch of movies in iTunes on my desktop computer, I can set these movies not to sync to my ATV or my iPod, right? [I don't particularly want to fill up the hard drive on my 40GB ATV with movies, but I really do not want to fill my 16GB Touch so full of movies that I have no room for adding songs.] 2) What if I run out of hard drive space on the desktop system? Can I add an external USB hard drive to the desktop system just for storage of movies and still stream movies from iTunes to my ATV? [And if so, how?]
    Thanks. -- JC

You don't have to sync anything to the ATV if you don't want to. However, you must leave iTunes open on that machine if you want the ATV to see it to be able to stream.
You may find that setting it to sync only like 5 most recent unwatched movies, etc. The Unwatched option is nice as it limits what gets put on the ATV and once you watch it, it gets removed (though you can still play via streaming).
Thus if the computer is off or iTunes closed, your ATV will have the most recent stuff on it (which most likely is what you want to watch).
As for external drive, easy to do. I have a 1TB external USB drive on my computer. I have iTunes pointing to it as to where the library is stored (you can set that in iTunes preferences). Thus all my media is on my external drive.
Don't think of the ATV seeing your hard drives. The ATV ONLY sees your iTunes app. What your iTunes can see on your computer is what the ATV can see. So where ever you put the files, as long as iTunes can see it and play it, then the ATV can.

  • How do I move content from a second computer to my new iMac?

I have a new iMac -- when you set it up you can import from a computer -- I did a backup to a LaCie.  Then used that to import to the new iMac.
BUT I have a second computer that I need to get information from.  I tried doing the same but can't figure out how to get it to work.
    HELP!!!

I have OS X 10.8.2 on my new computer and 10.7.5 on the old one -- I ran a software update but it doesn't show one.
I also tried to connect with an ethernet cable and it shows connected on the new computer but not on the old one.

  • How Can I Remove Purchased Content from my Apple TV?

I have content that I purchased through iTunes and it's stored on my Apple TV but I'm selling it so I need to move that content to one of my Macs. I can't find any instructions on how to do it. Can anyone help me out? It's the 40GB model running the latest software and it's connected to my Wi-Fi network. Thanks.

Content purchased on ATV should automatically sync to a computer you connected it with. If you have not alreday done so, in ATV go to Settings -> Computer. Select the computer that has your iTunes library, follow the instructions and sync. Quickly disable syncing of music, photos, movies etc. so that you dont move content from iTunes to ATV. The purchases on your ATV will sync back to your iTunes anyway.
If you already have a computer connected to your ATV, everything should have synced alreday. You then need to discionnect your iTunes from your ATV (Settings -> Computers) and this will automatically erase your ATV.

  • Using Outlook or 3rd party tool to move content to other account

    Hi.
I'm about to do a migration of a company's hosted Exchange mailboxes to mailboxes which will be hosted in our hosting environment based on Exchange 2013 servers.
So I need to move data from 70 mailboxes to 70 new mailboxes. I don't have administrative rights on the source server as that is another company's property, I'm "only" the administrator of the target server so a powershell export of the mailboxes
to pst is not an option.
Therefore I plan to use Outlook 2013 for the migration. I will configure 70 profiles which will connect to both the old mailboxes and the new mailboxes thereby giving me the possibility to just copy/paste the content to the new mailboxes. I
don't see the need to export to pst files first when I can connect to two Exchange accounts in the same Outlook profile.
So problem for me is that it would be sooooo nice if I could just right click the old mailbox at the top level and choose "copy folder to" and then it would copy AND merge all folders to the new mailbox. Outlook
doesn't give me that option. I've found a 3rd party Tool (Pandali Folder Master for Outlook) that get's me a bit of the way, problem is that it doesn't merge the source folders into the target folders so I will have to do a bit of copy/paste afterwards.
Probably this could work for me but it would be best if it just merged the folders automatically when encountering matching foldernames.
So I'd like to know if anyone has come across a tool that would suit me better?
    Thanks
    Thomas

Hi and and thanks for the reply.
I think you misunderstood me. I don't wanna export to PST and I don't have the EDB files handy. I wanna start Outlook and have both the old mailbox and the new mailbox opened in the same Outlook profile. Then I wan't a 3rd part Tool to help me move content
from the old mailbox and directly to the new mailbox. No PST files should be involved. Both the old and the new mailbox will be available all the time so a copy/paste operation is possbile, but I wanna minimize the mouse clicks and hopefully find a Tool that
can do this for me :)
    Best
    Thomas
