Move Cursor to wathc Video & Download

Using a B570 with Windows 7 64bit, I'm finding that I can't keep a video running (eg C4 player) without constantly flicking the cursor. (The sound keeps working.)
It also happens when trying to open web pages. Flicking the cursor hurries it up.
When I say 'flicking the cursor' I'm using the touchpad.
This is what I have tried so far: -
I read in the Firefox forum to turn off hardware acceleration to se if it cures this problem. So I used the Display option in the Control Panel to run through DirectX diagnostics (no problem found). I then tried to go to on and turn off the acceleration, but the Change Settings button is greyed out (Display Settings, Advanced Settings, Troubleshoot.) I then went to the driver and told it to update, which it apparently did.
Nothing works so far.
Can anyone help please.
Eddie

Just an update. I'm pretty sure now that this is Firefox related. It doesn't happen in Chrome, and there is some discussion on it in the Firefox forum, having started with version 25.
But I have had it in the past when watching videos.
Also, it's the Firefox hardware acceleration that they were advising to turn off. But none of the suggestions work, and it seems a funny connection to me between the cursor and running videos/opening sites.  Is the PC going off and doing something else, thus halting the action, and gets brought back by moving the cursor ?

  • Movie Rentals and Music Videos Download in Italy

    Hi everyone,
I don't have a bank account nor a Credit card based in the US or UK... that is why there's no way to set my iTunes account as US or UK and being able to rent movies or download Music Videos from iTunes...
is there a workaround for this? Lots of content is not accessible but I'd really love to purchase it...

    HI Jeffrey and welcome...
Make certain the time and date are correct on your PC.
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
Click "Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options" and then click Date and Time.
Click the Date & Time tab.
Make sure that the date and time settings are configured to use the current date and time and then click OK.
Make sure you are running the latest version of iTunes. http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
    Check the Firewall.
From the Start menu, choose Control Panel.
If the Control Panel is in Classic View, skip to step 4.
On Windows 7 and Vista, click Security; on Windows XP, click Security Center.
    Click Windows Firewall.
On Windows 7 and Vista, click Change Settings; if asked for permission by Windows, click Continue; make sure the “Block all incoming connections” option is *not selected.*
    Click the Exceptions tab.
    Check the iTunes box.
    Click OK.
You can report problems to Apple via the iTunes store. Launch iTunes. Select iTunes Store on the left. On the right side of that window select your account name. In the next window click: Purchase History then click: Report a Problem.

  • How do I download a movie from my ipad2 video app to apple tv

How do I view a recently downloaded movie from my Ipad2 video app to Apple TV?

If it is from the iTunes store you can watch it from iCloud on ATV.  If it is not from the iTunes store the next best option is to add it to your local copy of iTunes and have ATV play it from there.  You can always do it from AirPlay but that is a very error prone and degrages the quality.

  • Movies/Video downloads

    Hi,
I understand that Apple is hoping to be able to offer movie/video downloads in itunes sometime in 2007. I have the ipod shuffle so my main purpose would be wathing the movies/videos straight from my imac and/or burning them to view on other DVD players in the house. So until we are onboard for itunes store in Canada ... any suggestions?

I'm not sure what suggestions you're looking for, but you need to know that you will not (barring a major change in the rights the content owners allow) be able to burn any videos or movies purchased from the iTunes Store to DVD for watching on any other player. Lacking a video-capable iPod, you will only be able to play your purchased videos and movies on your computer or through an AppleTV (when those become available in Canada).

  • HT3209 I rented a movie on Itunes and it downloaded. Now it will not play. When i go to videos and try to play it the whole page turns black.

I rented a movie on Itunes and it downloaded but the movie will not play. When i go to videos to try to watch the video the page turns black

    Quit the videos app completely.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Try the videos app again.
If that doesn't work, reboot the iPad. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that fails, try this. Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of rhe movie in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.
But remember, once you start to play the rental, the timer starts.

  • How do I move a movie I have synced from iTunes into the "Movies" tab of the Video App? I need to access a slideshow I made in IMovies and may not have WiFi. I did it once, but can't figure out how to do it again! The file is an m4v. Thank you!

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

  • I rented a movie through iTunes and it downloaded but won't play.

I rented a movie through iTunes and it downloaded but won't play. It is present in the videos app but doesn't load the picture for the movie. When I go to play it, it just opens and then closes. There is an iCloud icon that suggests the movie has not Been downloaded and when I click it it says that the movie has already been rented but not downloaded and that I need to go to downloads to manage it. It is not present in my iTunes download page however. And when I go to rent it again all I get is a watch button that directs me back to the videos app with no way to watch it.

  • HT4528 With IOS 7 I had to move my photos and videos off to a backup to install the IOS.  When they moved back to the phone during a sync I have no way to delete them.  The trashcan stays grayed out and the usage page doesn't give me a delete option.

I got the message that IOS 7 was ready to download.  I wish I had read the reviews on it first.  I had to move my photos and videos off the phone to free up memory space for the install.  I was still able to see the phone with a file browser and grabbed the photos and videos and stored them in a directory on my hard drive.  Meanwhile my itunes updated too.  So with my files moved and deleted from the phone I made a backup of the phone.  I installed the ios 7.  When I synced the itunes moved my backup directories back to the phone.  I can't figure out how to remove them from the phone.  Under photos they have installed themselves with the names iphone09282013 and videos directories.  When I access them I don't get a delete option.  The trashcan is greyed out.  The settings usage page no longer gives me the swipe delete function.  How do I remove these files to free up space now that I have them saved to my computer?

    Hi Eric Ferguson,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
For troubleshooting on this, take a look at this article:
iTunes: Specific update-and-restore error messages and advanced troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694
    Error 13, 14, 35 and 50 (or -50)
These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
    Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
    Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
    Best of luck,
    Mario

  • I purchase a season of a tv show from I tunes. How di I move it to my video icon so I can watch it in flight?

I Purchased a season of a tv show from I tunes. It sits in my I tunes purchased file. How do I move it to my video icon file so I can watch while in flight?

If it shows in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app then tap on the cloud icon next to it and it should start to download into the Videos app - if it says 'downloaded' against it in Purchased then it should already be in the Videos app.

  • HOW TO: Enable videos downloaded to my MAC to play on A-TV

I have several videos downloaded to my MAC's hard drive that I'd like to play through A-TV. Is this a situation where I'd have to transfer these files to iTunes in order to play them through A-TV? Can it be done by syncing the file with A-TV? How do I do these things?
I'm new to Apple-- be kind!!!

If you can play a movie in iTunes but you can't sync it or stream it to Apple TV, select the movie and then choose Advanced > Convert selection for Apple TV. This will create a new copy of the video in your iTunes library that is compatible with Apple TV.

  • Can the first generation iPad play an 720p HD video downloaded from the iTunes store?

    Hello fellow Apple users!
I am just wondering if the iPad 1 could play a 720p video downloaded from the iTunes store.
I'd love to watch a movie in HD but I don't wanna waste money on something I can't consume.
    Thanks a lot!

  • Video downloads volume 3db lower than Music downloads

I dont know if this is the proper area for this , but no matter what settings I play with my video downloads from the Music Store are about 3db lower than the music I download ( that is HALF as loud as the other for you non engineers) Pream settings , EQ boosting etc , doesnt do anything , either on Itunes or the IPOD . Is there ANY reson why the video sounds are of such poor quality and with no way to correct them ?
    Thanks
DELL XPS GEN 4   Windows XP Pro   IPOD 60GB 5th GEN

Several months back, I had a similar problem.  There was a phantom 7G whenever I had the "Sync Movies" box checked in the iTunes sync configuration.  I'd uncheck the box and the 7G would go bye-bye.  Check it again and thge 7G returned.  This 7G chunk appeared on both the computer's iTunes and on the iPad.  Didn't matter that no other boxes were checked and that no movies were actually on the iPad.
I resolved the issue with a Restore, which is easy to do but a bit time consuming.
If you decide to go that route, connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."

I've downloaded a couple shows from the itunes store and wanted to export them using QT Pro to another format. But when i open the movie the export command is greyed out and cannot be selected. I've tried this with a few different itunes video downloads and get the same greyed out export command. any ideas?

Thanks Kirk. Was just curious to see if i could shrink the video files down so they wouldn't take up so much space on my ipod.
