Move IT0002 to separate tab in OM

Hi
We need to move IT1002 to a separate tab in OM. The reason is that when users want to change these data in a date-interval that eg spans 2 different C-objects for a position, the S-C relationship is overwritten. This is due to the fact that the tab holds several infotypes as of today.
I am told by SAP that this is done as follows (quote from them):
"Instead, we are offering the possibility to maintain infotype 1002 specifically in a dedicated tab.
You must only activate it
object-dependent or -independent in table T77OMTABUS."
Could someone guide me as to how exactly this is done - or point me to some documentation?

Yes, I just noticed it didn't have the infotype registered in the tab page definition. Works fine when this is added - even if this is SAP table.
Do your users get confused by Description being both in "Basic data" and in a tab of its own?
I think due to the date issue, this is the best way, at least for positions.
For org.units I don't see the same need - as not so many infotype show up on the "Basic data" tab.

PS - seems like SAP standard has the infotype excluded in the tab page scenario in T77OMTABUS. When I used the IMG-path I was able to overrule their settings in a customer table, which I guess is the correct approach whenever possible (

I do not know about separate tabs. Maybe you are talking about the Folder Pane down the left margin of the main window.

How do I move a group of tabs before closing a window?

I recently lost all my custom settings on Firefox after an aggressive tech support person "cleaned" my browser settings. When this happened, I lost the ability to move my open tabs to a new group before closing the window they were in.
Previously, when I had multiple windows open, and I initiated an "Exit" or "Close" command on one of the open windows, 2 things happened:
(1) First I received a warning message asking me if I wanted to close the window
(2) Then I received a second warning message asking me if I wanted to move my tabs before closing the window.
Now, I only receive the 1st message, and I am no longer offered the option of moving my tabs to a new window before closing the current window.
I've tested this both with and without the Tabs Group Manager which I was using prior to the time my browser was "cleaned", and I still have not found a way to restore this missing feature.
Unfortunately, I don't know if this feature/option is:
-- provided as a default in Firefox
-- a customizable feature in Firefox, or
-- a feature in a Firefox add-on.
Can anyone tell me where/how to restore this option to move a group of tabs before closing a window?

Thank you, guigs2, for your feedback, and my apologies for the confusion. After rereading my question, I realize I made a couple of typos in my original help request which cannot now be corrected. Specifically, the 2nd sentence in the first paragraph should have read:
"I lost the ability to move GROUPS of open tabs to a new WINDOW before closing the window they were in."
This means that, as far as I can tell, neither of your plugin recommendations applies:
-- Apparently, Tab Mix Plus only applies to manipulating tabs WITHIN the existing window and, unless I am missing something, I did not see any reference to the option I'm looking for -- specifically, an automatic prompt offering to move groups of tabs to a new window before closing the existing window.
-- Unfortunately, the other plugin you mentioned (Tag Cloud) appears to be non-functional in the current version of Firefox, based on the most recent user reviews.
In light of this, I will consider the possibility of resubmitting my question with the typos corrected -- and, in the meantime, if there is any additional feedback that you (or anyone else) can offer, I would be most grateful!

how can I open a several links in separate tabs in Firefox, In Safari you drag all the links to the "+" button and they all open in separate tabs.
This is different then the plug-in "Multilink and snaplink" since the links I need to open are not selectable they are just written on a document.
For instance, it would look like this:

You should be able to open links in new tabs by holding the Command key (⌘) and clicking on the link. Check in Safari Preferences and looked and the Tab section to see if you have the right behavior enabled.

Links, URLs & bookmarks open in same tab -- not separate tabs so i left ff 17 for FF 16

no matter how i configure the tabs setting in firefox (open links and new windows in a new tab) , all links, URLs and bookmarks open in the same tab, instead of as separate tabs, unless i first open a new tab and then select/enter the link, URL or bookmark.
for this reason, i ALWAYS use Tab Mix Plus extension...this has mastered the use of tabbed browsing and is very easy to set up and keep up...i dont have to open blank tabs first and TMP has other options too...
i just downgraded from FF 17 to FF 16 bc Tab Mix Plus doesnt work with FF 17 and i wont have my browsing hindered by FF inability to make their tabs work...
btw, i always revert to a previous version of FF until Tab Mix Plus is updated to work with the current FF upgrade...

When I click on Backspace in Contact name the cursor moves to the next tab

If you are talking about searches from - http://www.google.com/ - are you logged into a Google account all the time? If so, check your "Search Settings" from the "gear" in the upper-right corner of that Google search page and see if you have '''Open search results in a new browser window.''' check-marked, at the bottom of that preferences page. When that is check-marked and you have Tab options in Firefox set to '''Open new windows in a new tab instead''', you will get search results always opening in a new tab instead of the same tab. As to why that works different for "sponsored links" I don't know, I haven't seen the "sponsored links" for years now, I have a GM script that blocks those advertisements.

Combining Several Queries in Separate Tabs in One Spreadsheet

Hello BEX Experts. Our BEX version is 7.1. I need to combine 5 different queries into on workbook, in separate tabs. This way the user only executes one workbook and the 5 different reports will be refreshed and ran. In version 3.5, there is an option to do this under Tools ==>Insert Query. Can someone show me how to do this in 7.1? I apologized if there is already a forum document for this, I could not find it. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Follow the following steps:
1. Open Bex Analyzer 7.1. Click the Bex Analysis Tool Box Open Icon and execute one of the query you want to insert in the work book. Data would be displayed in the excel format in one Sheet.
2. Click on the Tools Icon and select the option to copy this sheet. After the sheet is copied you can go into design mode and change the data providers there. For Ex. In sheet 1 DP was Query1 for the 2nd sheet you can choose Query2. These steps can be repeated until you get desired number of queries embedded in the work book. Advantage of copying the sheet is you do not have to go into design mode and insert the Table & Filter options each time. You just habe to change the data provider here and work is done.
3. While following above steps remember that the Data Provider Name for every sheet should be different i.e If it DP_1 for sheet one make it DP_2 for 2nd sheet and so on till last sheet. If you miss that then all the sheets would ultimately take the same query name which you last entered.

Can someone please change how to make fullscreen not push the page down when toolbars are shown on mouse hover in FF? The toolbars should behave more like IE. This would make FF SO much better. Please dont take the IE comparison the wrong way as FF is quite superior and the ONLY browser I use, but this one thing has got to be changed. It's irritating the way FF pushes the whole web page down while in fullscreen mode when the toolbars are shown on mouse hover.

I can't think of a way to show them in tabs, but Mail lets you open as many Mail list windows as you like. Set the Mail window to show just the inbox for Account A, then choose File/New Viewer Window and set that window to show just the Account B inbox. Arrange the windows next to each other.
I open multiple viewer windows all the time when dragging messages from inboxes to various folders, it saves a lot of time.

You might try what MyMac8MyPC suggested, publish each page as a separate site. I have a primary site made up of over 50 separate sites as pages. I use iWebSites to manage the multiple sites.. It lets me create multiple sites and multiple domain files.
If you have multiple sites in one domain file here's the workflow I used to split them into individual site files with iWebSites. Be sure to make a backup copy of your original Domain.sites files before starting the splitting process.
This lets me edit several sites and only republish the one I want.

Windows taskbar opens a separate "tab" when opening the broweser from pinned program

I recently installed firefox because it does not lack when it comes to displaying kanjis.
But there is a weird thing happening. I pinned my firefox to my windows taskbar. When i open firefox from this pinned shortcut, it opens a separate "tab" on my taskbar. No other program has ever done this.
Do you have any clue what is going on?

Clicking the pinned one on my taskbar (the one to the left in the picture) only opens more firefox browsers and stocks them in the same "tab" as the others on my taskbar (the one to the right in the picture)

I have an application on 4 computers. On 3, PDF files open as they should, withing the application. On the fourth the file is placed in "downloads" and then opens in a separate tab on the desktop(not inside the application).
