Move messages from N70 to E65

hi all,
i just bought Nokia E65 and i am trying to move the messages from my old phone (N70) to E65.
BTW, i stored the messages at the MMC in the N70, and i also created folders in the "my Folder", so is it possible to just move the "Mail" folder from my N70 MMC to the new memory card for the E65, and if so, where this folder will be moved, becuse i tried to move it to the same old folder "system" but i want able to see the messages in the E65.

It did work for me but just few minutes in N73 (SMS from 6600), but my N73 hang rightaway. I had to take MiniSD out in order to get my phone start again. On Symbian 9.1 this issue seems to look the most absert job. Come on Nokia, after all they were all our beloved messages. Is it illegal to manage all things that belong to us who actually use money to buy you a new phone? Come on and come on.....

Failure to move messages from one account to another

I have recently started having problems when trying to move messages from one account to another. I get a message that says: The IMAP command "APPEND" (to INBOX) failed with server error: message contains NUL characters.
I have tried shutting down and restarting, repaired permissions. Not sure what to do next. Any help?

One is POP thru Cox Comm and the other is mobile me (the old .mac accts). Why would all of a sudden there be an issue when I several times during the day have been able to move messages from Cox to mobile me?

Won't Automatically Move Messages from Group

Hey Folks,
Poked around for a bit in the archive and didn't see this issue addressed (most filtering queries seemed to be about Junk, this concerns mail from recognized recipients). After an hour with AppleCare they sent me here to answer this query:
I've written several rules for filtering mail from recognized senders to folders on my .Mac account. I can successfully get messages from single individuals moved automatically to a designated folder, but I can't get any messages from any e-mail addresses moved automatically where the rule applies to more than one e-mail address. In the case of a rule set to apply to multiple addresses, all those e-mails go directly to my inbox (i.e. the rule fails, or doesn't apply). Or to put it another way, I can write a rule that says: "move messages from Gary to Folder:Gary" and messages from Gary will go directly to that folder, skipping my inbox. However, if the rule says "move messages from Groucho, Harpo and Zeppo to Folder:Marx_Brothers" e-mails from either Groucho, Harpo or Zeppo will not move to that folder, but will simply appear in my inbox.
I won't list the things I've tried, both on my own and with the AppleCare tech, as its kind of a long list.
Anyone having or had a similar problem with rules applying to multiple e-mails.

not quite the same:
to comply with your suggestion, I used the '+' feature and added each e-mail in its own field. That worked- it sent every e-mail entered in that rule to one box.
My question is whether there is a way to write the rule so I can copy and paste, from a list of 20+ addresses, every e-mail I want moved to that box into one field, as opposed to a separate field for each address. I'm just trying to save time as I sort through a lot of e-mail.

Move messages from 5800 to C6-01

Hey, as the title says is it possible to some how to move messages from one phone to another. (Nokia 5800 to C6-01)
Tried it with create a backup from 5800 and then restore to C6-01 but only part of messages were moved.
If anyone knows any other ideas, i would be very grtafeul.

Not sure if the Phone Switch will transfer the Messages as well ... but what you may try is 'Sync' all your Messages on Nokia 5800 with the Nokia Suite.. Then connect the Nokia C6-01 and select Inbox in Nokia Suite-->Messaging..then select all messages in the Middle column and Drag-and-Drop them in the Inbox of the Phone (next to the phone icon at the bottom) .. Similarly select messages in Sent folder and Drag-and-Drop them in the Sent folder of the phone ...

I can mark all the messages, but the option to copy them to phone memory does not appear! I'm using the lastest firmware for my Nokia 5800.

Try resetting the iPhone,
Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.
If the does not work then delete that email account and set it up again,
Settings > Mail > select the account > delete account.
Take a note of the account settings before doing this to help you set it up again.

          I have created a JMSDestination (MyQueue) in my wls 8.1.5.
          I have also created an other JMSDestination (MyErrorQueue) in my wls 8.1.5.
          In the wls it is possible to specify an "Error Destination:" for a JMSDestination. In my wls I have specified MyErrorQueue as error destination for MyQueue.
          If anything goes wrong during consuming message from MyQueue the message will be moved to the error destination MyErrorQueue.
          If this situation ever occur, for eg. there is a cable connection loss or something. The error destination will save me alot of trouble.

          But now I wonder if there is any tool or function i wls 8.1.5 that helps me move the message back to MyQueue from the error destination, MyErrorQueue, when the problem is solved.? For eg, when the broken cable is replaced.
          Or do I have to write such a application my self? Seems strange since the concept of error destination exists.

I'm trying to move messages from Mozilla to Thunderbird as Mozilla is no longer compatible with 10.7

Mozilla what? as there is Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Thunderbird and the ancient Mozilla 1.7.x suite along with other Mozilla products and projects.
If you are referring to the Mozilla suite then perhaps look at SeaMonkey which is a community effort in keeping the suite going. http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

N85 move messages from memory card to phone

my previous n85 was having problems and they have to reformat the phone to make sure it wan'st a software issue. I backed up my messages to the memory card by selecting Memory Card in Memory used settings in Messages. All my messsages are saved in the memory card
now that i have my new (replaced) n85, how can i move those messages back to the phone memory? when i change the memory used, it woundnt ask me whether to move the messages from memory card to phone memory.

N73: move messages from phone to memory card

Guys I tried reading a lot of threads but unfortunately i was not able to find an answer.
People say that when we choose the option to change memory it will ask for copying messages "yes it does BUT only the first time.... Now how do i move the messages when it does not ask me anymore.
People say to remove some file from c:/system/mail then it will ask again, but this file/folder is not their in my n73
so please help me how do i move my messages from phone to memory card

How to automatically move messages from an IMAP folder to a local folder?

I have rules set up on my IMAP server to filter messages to various folders. While these folders do show up in Mail.app, they're listed under the accounts, which, for me, is off the screen. Is there some way I can have these messages automatically moved into a local folder? The built-in rules don't seem to work, as they appear to only apply to messages arriving in an Inbox.
Having to manually move messages is getting old real fast.

I think this does what you want. You'll need to create the local mailbox first and change the xxx's to your account identifier:

Transferring messages from N70

Hi all,
I have recently downloaded Nokia PC Suite and want to copy all the messages from my phone to my laptop. PC Suite however keeps failing. I would like to copy them so I can open them on my computer, rather than have to transfer them back onto my phone to read.
Can anyone suggest the best way to do this?

If you have Vista then install PC suite on a XP machine and try to copy. PC suite gives problem with Vista
