Move over netscape sever 6

When moved over netscape web server6 from one machine (Solaris 8) to another machine(solaris 9), then tried to start the secured web server, it got errors such as " Database not initialized", "Serve-cert couldn't found" , etc .
Actually the move over cpoied everything in the netscape wetserver's directory to the new machine. (Of couring including the certificate database, etc). Why the server cannot start?

The filename of the trust database files contains the hostname. If you copy these files between machines with different hostnames, Web Server won't be able to find them.
Look for files named -key3.db and -cert7.db and rename them to correct the hostname.

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

HT4889 Used migration assistant to move from Lion to Mountain Lion and an entire user account did not move over.

The user name (account) was the same on the source and the new computer. Is this why the data could not move over? I did not see this user account in the list of users presented by migration assistant. Thought it was default so that is why it wasn't shown. I can move the data over manually, but this was a surprise. Any feedback on why this happened?

I migrated Office 2011 and other than forcing me to enter the license code again (all 2 million letters of it) everything went OK.
Note that when I tried to open Parallels desktop 6 it wouldn't open and said that it wasn't compatible with Mountain Lion and the icon had a sort of greyed out look. I upgraded to 8 and it started working. I wonder if there is any issue with Office 2008 and Mountain Lion? Probably not but it's a possibility.
You can buy an external superdrive too from Apple. I bought one for my 2010 Air. But CD sharing from another computer should work. I bring it with me when I travel to watch DVDs.

Did you download Tron in HD? If so, try syncing the SD version that came with it

Upload quicktime movies over IP

Question is, can you upload quicktime movies over IP. If so, What codec is the best for uploading and playing. Also, can Apple TV automatically play multiple playlists.
The reason that I asked is that I want to replace our Digital Sign-age displays with quicktime movies that play all day.

You can only upload to AppleTV via iTunes (iTunes machine on same wireless/wired network rather than a USB connection like an iPod). You can't log into AppleTV using a web page and upload video to it remotely if that's what you want to do.
Unfortunately it doesn't even do video/movie playlists let alone multiple ones.

How to display item when mouse moves over Column value??

Hi there
It would be helpful if you could resolve the following :
i) I need to display the column 'A' values of my report in a Text field when mouse moves over column B of my report.
ii) I can able to display the same column value when mouse moves over or onclick happens. but my requirement is something like i have to display the other column value when mouse moves over.
iii) Also i noticed that, i can able to display the item only on "Display only Item" and not on Text field.
Any pointers to display my column value in Text field when onclick happens on my report column?
iv) One more thing that i noticed, i can able to perform onclick or mouse over only on Editable column and not on
non editable columns.
Any pointers on how to achieve the same when mouse moves over Non editable column of report?
Reference: I have created a dummy application (refer the following link), where i can able to display column value Salary on display only item using mouse move Event.
My requirement: when i click column Ename , the text field should show salary.

after looking at the source of your page it seems that your class for your report region is *class="t20Report t20Standard"* I am not 100% sure but you might have to correct that in the template. I am not sure how the selector will handle the space in the class name.

As it happens in other develpment enviroments that one can customized the look 'n feel of any thing during the mouse movement over that very thing. Moreover can any body plz tell me that how one can modify the funtionality of a control by him self (not selecting the available functionalities of controls and indicators)

The attached LV 7.1 code uses an event configured to trigger on two controls when a "Mouse Enter" or a Mouse Leave" event occurs. Depending on the type key focus is either assigned or removed.
Please elaborate on the Q re: customizing a control.

Movement over scanned text pages - question...

this might be something kind of simple, but i can't figure out the correct terminology so that i can search for some tutorials to learn it... (i'm not lazy!)
here's what i am trying to do:
create an animatic out of scanned storyboards for a film. so far i have the scanned images in the correct type of sequence.
next i want to add the actual script pages as text that will read out over / superimposed over the drawings.
so i printed out the script pages and then scanned them in as TIFF files at a very high resolution ( i wanted the texture of the paper and the ink to look real)
the scanned script pages look great, when you zoom in, they are crisp and clear and textured...
HOW do i create these text effects. i want single lines, or groups of lines of text to read out. i know how to do movement over stills, but i think what i need to do is create some kind of mattes along with that... (have you ever seen the screenwriting awards at the Oscars? where they show the script pages imposed over the actual film? that is the type of effect i am going for...)
if you know what i am trying to do here and can suggest, or give me the proper search terms so that i can find some youtube tutorials, i would be very grateful.

Making window active when mouse pointer moves over it?

As the subject line says, how do I configure Mac OS X such that a window automatically becomes the active one (also in the menu bar) when the mouse pointer moves over it? If possible, with a slight delay?

A far as I know it doesn't work that way. You need to click on the window to make it active.

HELP! Continuous Object Motion When Mouse Moves Over - ActionScript 3.

Hello! I'm working on a school project. Below is an image of what I am working on.
My cursor in this movie is the heart. When I move my mouse over Hello Kitty she jumps -- but only once. How can I get her to keep jumping when my mouse is over her, and make her stop jumping when I pull away? Here is the code below. If you can help that would be great!!!
Also, because I am new to ActionScript I might have messed up with the motion of the animation. Hello Kitty used to jump continuously without me doing anything. Then I copied the motion code into my ACTIONS layer and put stop(); in the Hello Kitty object code. So, she doesn't jump all the time anymore, just when my mouse moves over her... but she only jumps once and that is the problem. I want her to keep jumping as long as my mouse is over her. Please HELP! THANKS!!!!

I won't be around much longer today, so on just a hunch I'd say if you comment out all of what you showed in your first posting, use what's below, and get rid of anything that might be stopping the kitty from jumping, it might work... though it might not...

I have the same issue, to temporarily fix it go to Settings > General > Restart. When it restarts the movie should play. You have to do this for each movie for the most part.

They are not in the iTunes Store on your iPad, they are synced to the Videos App. Look for movies in there, not in the iTunes Store.

Its called a Tooltip. Now that you knoow that, search the API for a suitable method to invoke to set the Tooltip text.

IOS7 cannot play Netflix movie over wifi

Since upgrading to IOS7 (updated iPad2, updated 3 iPhone 4 models, and purchased iPhone 5s), I am unable to use Netflix to watch a movie, while connected to my wifi network in my home. My Android tablets, gaming consoles, and computers work fine with Netflix. Using cell data and other networks with the same IOS devices and the same Netflix app appears to work fine. But I can not play a movie over my wifi on my IOS7 devices.
I have a Netgear WRN2000v4 router, with the latest firmware. I have the latest version of the Netflix app. I use WPA2-PSK encryption on my router, but also tried WPA-PSK, at the suggestion of my ISP. I have contacted Apple, Netflix, and my ISP. They have no answers. I have also emailed Netgear, but have not heard back from them yet. In speaking with Netflix, I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Any suggestions out there?

I have the same problem. I had an iPad 3 and I swapped it (so far it seems I downgraded) for a mini iPad. Now my Netflix only works if I am standing next to my Netgear router, I never had this problem with my iPad 3. My other devices work fine with my router. I too changed the WPA-PSK, did a hard reset I am curious to find out the answer to this problem too!
