Apple TV to display Movie Poster sized TV Show Art?

All of my TV Shows have movie poster sized artwork. The Apple TV displays movie poster art for Movies, but it displays square CD-style artwork for TV Shows.
Is there any way to get the Apple TV to display movie poster sized artwork for TV Shows?

BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT Goods Movement Posting Problem

When performing a process order confirmation via the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT, I'm experiencing some difficulties with the goods movements. Specifically, when attempting to post a goods receipt to the order via a 101 movement along with a goods issue to the order via a 261 movement, the movements are posting as two separate material documents instead of a single material document. Secondly, the movements post under the transaction code COGI (from the MKPF-TCODE2 field) which seems a little odd to me as I was expecting something specific to the BAPI or at least COR6N.
For others utilizing this BAPI with goods movements specified, what transaction code do the materials post under and is there some config or setting directly in the BAPI which I'm missing to ensure goods movement postings occur under a single material document?

Please check with T-Code CORK & also check hte confirmation configuration in OPK4.

Movie poster Artwork Out-of-Focus and blurry?

Is anyone having a problem with movie poster artwork imported into itunes (added in the get info menu area for artwork) that now appears "blurry" or "out-of focus" in cover flow, etc. and the synced version in appletv. This happened right after upgrading to 8.0.1. My previous movie posters are just fine that were imported "prior" to upgrading to itunes 8? What gives? They are somehow blurry or low-res?

From where? Again, what are typical pixel dimensions of those photos that show blurry, i.e. how small are they?

some theory:
You always have 2 options - delete or process your COGI record.
Before to make a decision you need to analyse/find a reason why this error has happened.
run COGI;
tick your eror;
hit F6 (display errors) - bell icon
now you are able to see the reason.
depends on a reason (information you see now) you do your next steps
say, for instance, you did something to fix the reason,...
then
if you want to process, tick your error and Save
if everything is okay - system will POST it (cogi record will go away)
or , say, you do not care about the error -
tick your error and Delete
some practice:
please have a look at your material - probably someone changed it very recently - look at last changes using MM04 or MM03

Quicktime movie poster

When I create a poster frame using Quicktime, it changes the thumbnail. But then when I export it for the web and make a desktop version of the video it changes the movie poster. Anyone know how to make it keep the movie poster?

I just answered my own question. By default, any operations on a QuickTime player movie operate on the poster frame.

Scripting Movie Poster Type

Hello Adobe Community,
I wrote a script that "converts" all streaming videos to embedded videos; however, after I set each video's filePath, it loses its poster. I have a line of code that is supposed to set the moviePosterType to the first frame of the movie:

For debugging purposes, after each attempt to set the movie poster type, an alert() says the poster type is "NONE," unless I manually set the poster, then it will say "FROM_MOVIE." My goal is to automatically set the movie poster type, otherwise someone would need to click on every video to set it. Thanks in advance for any insight or ideas!

I was thinking a possible solution would be to automate/script the process a user would normally complete through the menu system. To set a poster to "From Current Frame," a user would open the Media panel, click on the "Poster:" drop-down, and select "From Current Frame."
After looking through the available Menu Names and Menu Actions, the only handles I see available are "Media," "Video from URL...," and "PDF Options...." Does anyone know if I can access the Media > Poster > From Current Frame option through scripting?

How to set movie poster frame in final cut pro x

Need some help on the following.
Objective-using QT 7 or later, Current Compressor, FCP X or any other video editing tool, export a mp4 movie that displays a "poster frame" when the movie is inserted into iBook Author. When started by the user, the movie would begin to play from the first frame of the movie (not the poster frame).

This sounds like a question for the iBooks Author forum. I think you set the poster frame in that application. How you make the video behave in the iBook is controlled in that application not in the editing application.

Rotated Movie, Poster Frame is unrotated

I took a movie in portrait mode instead of the normal landscape mode.
Then I used QT Pro 7.0.3 to rotate it. Nice job!
Then I went to View > Set Poster Frame after selecting the desired frame.
Saved the file. Went to finder and the Poster Frame (or Icon) in the Finder is unrotated.
Bug? Or feature?
Any help appreciated.

I publish movies to .Mac/MM directly from iMovie '08. I add them to my iWeb pages using Insert/.Mac Web Gallery:

There's no way to select the poster frame from within iWeb. However, I would expect that capability to exist within iMovie '08 but it doesn't.

How to automate creating movie poster frames?

Hello.
I have a fairly large movie library in itunes now, about 500 movies. I know how to right click a frame of a movie and set a poster frame. However this seems very slow and doesn't always work perfectly. Does anyone have any ideas or scripts that would automate the process? Even if it just sets the poster frame at 2 minutes into every movie it would be better than the 1st frame, Thanks for any ideas.

I have not had my question answered yet. I am guessing its not possible. However the problem you mentioned is not an issue for me. I can pause a video, right click on it, and the bottom choice is to set a poster frame.
What I want is to have something automate the process of picking a different point as the poster frame without having to select it on each and every video. I have 500 videos and this could take way too long. I would imagine there is an easier way to set all videos to use the 30 second mark as the poster frame.

Goods Movement Posting with UII

I am trying to post a material document using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE with external assigned serial number and UII (Unique Item Identifier).
In this bapi, the GOODSMVT_SERIALNUMBER table does have SERIALNO that I can populate serial numbers. But it does not have any UII I can enter unlike MIGO transaction.
Is there any bapi or function module that allows me to post goods movements with UII??

Can you do this manually in your system via CO11? Our system is set up so that during order confirmation only goods issue / returned can be entered in the confirmation screen.

Does anyone know in which transaction i need to fix this?

Use The Transaction MMPV (Close Period for Material Master Records) . Here you can update the next valid date for posting for a particular Company Code.

Is Vimeo The Best Website For HD Movie Posting?

I wanna post my movie in the best way possible and Vimeo now supports films hd in 1280x720 format and that is alot better than youtube of course and while I do want the film on my own website I'm told that I would have to pay alot if I get lots of hits while if I put it on this site I dont have to worry about it. Think of it in the same way as traditional television -the signal is sent to your set but not actually stored anywhere. I know you have a VCR, pretend for a moment that you don't.

Question regarding different sizes of movies posted to Mobile Me

I am using iMovie '08 and just published a 10 min movie in both large and medium
sizes. The question is: "Does publishing different sized movies increase the amount of storage used by the move on the Mobile Me cloud?"
Specifically, if I publish a movie in Large format, then publish the same movie
in Medium, or Mobile size, do the additional sizes add to the amount of storage
used in the cloud?
Also, it seems that there is no way to remove an already published size selectively. For example, if I have a Large and Medium size published for the
same movie, can I remove the only the Large size. (Keeping the Medium on the cloud?) I could not find a way to do this. This may be irrelevant if there is minimal or no impact on used storage to publish in lower sized formats.
Any light that can be shed on this would be very helpful.

Thanks again. This solved the problem as far as removing the file from iDisk and
the cloud. However, when I go to the gallery, I still see the hyperlink for
LARGE on the size selection just under the video display. I tried to refresh
the site by going to the Mobile Me account and changing the settings (ie downloadable, or hide) but that did not work.
In fact the site gave me an error the first time I tried it. But then after that,
I was able to change the settings without any error. But that did not remove the
LARGE hyperlink either.
I also went to iMovie and re-published like you would to change the description.
That does not upload the movies because they are not changed. Interestingly the
LARGE size selector was enabled so I could change it (that was disabled on
previous attempts) But alas, event re-publishing did not change whatever
indexes are used to produce the video screens in the gallery.
I will take this up with Apple Mobile Me directly as soon as I can. If and when
I receive an answer, I will post it here.

Tons of error compiling movie post 6.02

i recently upgraded to 6.02 and everything has destablized. i dynamic link to AE in premiere timelines and find that unless i close out AE and restart premiere after dynamic linking i can't export. i also am getting 3-4 times a day error compiling movie / video preview errors. this never happened before, premiere was rock solid till about about a week ago. wondering if others are experiencing this...
ps. have quadro 4000 installed. and yep, i'm scaling down my stills or replacing them with AE comps...

Problem solved on my 2009 mac pro w/ quadro 4000 card. was getting non-stop errors - esp. on parts of the timeline i'd dynamically linked to AE on. updated my nvidia driver (this is the first one for my system they've put out that is mountain lion compatible) and everything is back to normal. it really is amazing how fast CS6 is vs fcp 7 when everything is working right...
