Move & Scale the photo for wall paper

   Hello,
After updated Iphone 4S to new the IOS7.0.2 , I am unable to move and scale the photo to minimize to the screen and the photo is showing with zoom. So, I am unable to make a new wall paper to to home/lock screen to fit the pic in the screen with good outlook.
Itunes Radio is not showing some time when I play the music from the phone.
Decline call option is not showing the call some times when I receive calls.
Please look in and assist.

Hello VRS,
The cropping can be due to the Parallax feature in iOS 7. In order to remove this, you can enable 'Reduce Motion' in Settings.
Reduce motion. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility and turn on Reduce Motion.

iOS 7: How to reduce screen motion
You can reduce screen motion in iOS 7. iOS 7 uses a parallax effect to create the perception of depth on your Home screen and elsewhere.
To reduce the effect, you can turn on Reduce Motion in Settings > General > Accessibility. When you turn on Reduce Motion, Home screen transitions will fade instead of zoom.
When the parallax effect is on, you may notice the following:
Wallpaper, icons, and alerts shift slightly as you move your phone.
When you set a wallpaper in Settings > Wallpapers & Brightness, the photo or image will be slightly zoomed and can't be scaled to fit the screen.
If you zoom in, you will need to rescale your wallpaper to fit to the screen. You can't rescale certain photo formats, including landscape or square images.
To learn more about iOS 7, refer to the user manual.

  • Can not re-size photos for wall paper, any ideas?

As a photographer my main reason for purchasing the ipad 4th gen. Was to be able to customize my wallpaper display.  thanks IOS7, that has all gone south.  Anyone know of a way to re-size images so they fit?

    Hi,
This issue can be caused by corrupted system files during update installation or incompatible update.
    Please first try following suggestions:
    1. Update your keyboard driver in Device manager.
    2. Run command SFC /SCANNOW as admin, any error, post back the cbs.log.
    3. Run this command to repair Windows:
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
If there's no changes on this issue, please restore your system back to the point when the Keyboard work fine, and manually install checked out updates one-by-one, after each one, please restart computer to check the issue.
Then let me know which update cause this issue.

  • How to reduce scale at installation of wall-paper by iPad?

How to reduce scale at installation of wall-paper by iPad?

If you go in through the photos app you have a bit more control, but not a lot.
FIrst, go into the control panel, accessibility and turn off the parallax motion. Then go into your photos app, find the image and 'send' it to be wallpaper by tapping the box with the arrow poking out of it.
The higher resolution your image is the more control you'll have. The default is that the whole screen must be covered and iPad screens are 1024 x 768 or larger, so if you have a 300 x 400 pixel image, you won't have much control at all but if your image is - pixel wise - larger than your screen, you'll have more wiggle room.
It's not perfect and isn't as much control as it used to be, but you'll have more than just going in through the wallpaper controls.

  • I have iPhoto 4.0.3. I want to know if it will take less space on my 8 GB thumb drive if I scale the photos smaller

Hi -- My computer is gonna hold itself hostage unless I free up some space! I figure a good place to start is with photos. I have iPhoto 4.0.3 and want to export my photos to an 8 GB thumb drive. Would it be better for me to export them as jpegs? If I can scale the photos to be smaller size, will the require less space? Any help for an old-timer with old-timey stuff?

Any time you reduce the file size, i.e. read qualtiy, or file dimension, i.e. read height and length in pixels, you will reduce space needed to store the photo on a hard drive or flash drive.  But both will reducer the quality of the photos.  The first, reduces the image quality by using more jpeg compression while saving the image file and the other throws away a good part of the data, i.e. pixels, thus reducing the size of a photos you can print in high resolution.
What with the low cost of external hard drives why not get an external hard drive to move your iPhoto library to and run it from there.  That way you can recover important free space, (10 GB minimum free space is recommended for optimal system and application performance).
Or keep a full library on the external HD and a smaller library on your boot drive with just the more recent or necessary photos.  You can use iPhoto Library Manager to copy events or album between the two libraries and keep keywords, titles, and other metadata intact.
However, if you must degrade the photos to save space I would export the photos as Format=JPEG, Quality=Medium and Size=Full size.
What you plan to do with the reduced size photos on the flash drive.

If you mean "optimizing for iPad," no.

  • Backed up Lightroom 2 to a 'backup plus'.  Will be installing Lightroom 5 to a new Win 7 computer and want to move only the photos to a dedicated 1 tb drive in the machine.  Anyone know Where my actual photos are stored on 'backup plus'?  Thank you

Backed up Lightroom 2 to a Seagate 'backup plus'.  Will be installing Lightroom 5 to a new Win 7 computer and want to move only the photos to a dedicated 1 tb drive in the machine.  Anyone know where my actual photos are stored on 'backup plus'? Thank you

Thank you for your reply.  I have been backing up my entire computer and when I follow anything having to do with Lightroom I am not finding actual photos.  I hope to find the photos that have been backed up along with updates to them that my wife has been performing during her edits.  Found Lightroom 2 catalog Previews/Lrdata.  Could that be it?

  • How do I move all the photos from the i-photo library on one account to the i-photo library on another account?

I have recently bought a new mac mini running Lion, and yesterday I migrated an account off an older machine running Tiger.
I want to delete the older account from this machine as it is causing some problems with i-cloud, but I want to transfer the photos first and add them to a different account on the new computer.
So my question is How do I move all the photos from the i-photo library on one account to the i-photo library on another account?

Copy the iPhoto library from the old Mac to the Desktop of the new one.  Then download the paid version of  iPhoto Library Manager, which is now compatible with Mt. Lion, and use it to merge the two libraries into a new, third library.  This will preserve the two libraries in case the merged library isn't to your liking.
Here are screenshots of iPLM's coping and merging preferences:
When you're satisfied that the new, merged libraray is complete and working OK you can delete the two earlier libraries.

  • Elements 13 will not custom scale a photo for print.

When I try to custom scale a photo, the sizes have no effect on the finished photo and leaves a vertical bar on either side in Elements 13.  Elements 12 worked much better.

  • Why can't I scale my photos for wallpaper?

When I select a photo for wallpaper I can't scale it.

I'd imagine you're trying to zoom out on a photo. I think there's a problem with scaling if the dimensions of the photo are not fit to wallpaper size.
The workaround is in the photo app itself, select the photo you wish to use. Resize it to what you want the wallpaper to look like. Take a screenshot (press the home button and sleep button at the same time).
Set the screenshot as wallpaper. That should fit nicely.

  • Answer to how to scale your photos for wallpapers

I have tried many things and only found this to be the one thing that WORKS for this issue! Go into your photos and take a screen shot of the photo you want to use as your wallpaper (do this by holding down the home button and sleep button at the same time). Go into your settings and wallpapers once you do this choose the photo you screen shot and scale!!!! I'm so happy I found this answer but it took a long time searching for it, this is why I posted separate thread. I hope this was an easy find for you! :-)

I see this too including on a fresh install and a new account. I've seen many other posts about it. seems to be a bug in snow leopard. no real way around it.

  • Perspective Zoom switches on automatically for wall paper after restart

    Hey all,
i've got an iPad 2 running iOS 8.0.2. After setting my home screen + lock screen images with perspective zoom switched off for both and I then restart my iPad for whatever reason, both the images have automatically switched on perspective zoom and are way too zoomed in. I then have to go back to wall paper, switch off perspective zoom for both images, re-position them and then it's fine. But after every restart (or my battery died) I have to do the same thing.
    Any thoughts? Thanks

Whenever i open a fullsscreen program it automatically switches to start menu even if i didnt press Windows button on keyboard
There is a button on keyboard that disables Windows key-im sure it disables it because i tried pressing Windows key while on-screen keyboard is on. here's a pic of keyboard:
    http://www.teknolojer.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Logitech_G103.jpg
red key on the top disables Windows key so you dont press it while gaming
    For example:
Start cs go,wait until it loads,it goes to main menu, mouse pointer is normal windows pointer and not cs go's custom pointer that looks like a paper plane so i think it's still not on game
When i click somewhere it switches to start menu.
After that when you try to switch to game,it goes black for a second, and then switches to start menu again, waiting me to type something
This problem happens in cs go,mortal kombat, garry's mod i havent tried it in other games
I disabled logitech gaming software and it didnt work.
Keep in mind that i formatted and installed Windows again but this issue still persists
    Thanks in advance

  • Putting movies on the web for download - help and advice needed

    Hello everybody,
I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this question, but here's hoping...
I've produced an hour long DVD on the history of my car club. I have produced the DVD using iMovie and iDVD, and it's fine.
We will be having a number of these DVDs produced, but we also want to offer the movie as a download on our website. Of course this needs to be compressed, but what I want to be able to do is offer the user a file that will burn them a DVD with chapter markers etc, just like the DVD I have, in one operation - a straightforward duplicate. I also want to be able to let them download a label and jewel case insert and offer a complete package.
Is an easy duplicate like this possible, and what sort of file size would the compressed item be? As the DVD is close to capacity, I assume the original will be around 4.7 Gb. There are also some jpegs on the DVD as extras.
Certainly, it would be desirable for the user to play it on their computer, but the main aim is to get a disc TV ready (in the PAL format).
I know you can download movies from the web, and I've downloaded trailers onto my iPod and played them back on a 32" TV and they're excellent. What I don't know is what software will do this. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

    Steve,
what I want to be able to do is offer the user a file that will burn them a DVD with chapter markers etc, just like the DVD I have, in one operation - a straightforward duplicate.
I suppose you could put up a 4 something gigabyte DVD disk image up somewhere on the web, but I wouldn't want to try and download it! Do you have a site available with this kind of storage and download bandwidth?
Normally, the things I've seen on the web are reduced in image size to something like 320x240 - this reduces the file size to 1/4 the full size file.
For Apple users, H.264 gives a pretty compact file with decent quality, but I'm not sure many PC users would be able to use it. In any event, people couldn't make a DVD with chapters without extra work.
You could get QuickTime Pro and try converting the movie (or a part of it anyway) to H.264 (or 'regular' mpg-4) see how it looks.
