Move screen on desktop
I can't center screen on my Pavilion p6627c so right side is visible. Tried dragging, rotating mouse wheel-- nothing shifts it.
Hello DanFischel. I understand you need to readjust your monitor's viewing area.
Take a look at your monitor's user manual. You should specifically look at pages 20-24. This covers the monitor's on screen controls.

Take the MBP to an Apple store genius bar and have them evaluate it. This is a free service. They may tell you what needs to be fixed and the associated costs. You are no obligated to to have them perform the repairs. But you will have a better understanding of the problem(s).

Can't move anything on desktop or finder etc.
Problem: I can't move files from desktop to finder window. Can't rearrange items in finder window. Can move items to trash using keyboard but not trackball. Can't remove icons from dock; and can't change desktop picture. When I try to change desktop picture, the new picture shows up on the little screen; but the desktop picture does not change. I thought it might be something wrong with the trackball, but I can open applications, connect to internet etc.
Hi Sue, if you can navigate in Finder do this:
navigate to yourhome/library/preferences and trash these two files:
com.apple.finder.plist
com.apple.sidebarlists.plist (if this exists in 10.2 - not sure)
(You will have to reset a few finder prefs the way you like them.)
Then log out and back in again. Or restart.

Tiger update 2008-004 screwed up iMac G5 screen resolution/desktop
I have an iMac G5. Installed the Tiger 2008-004 update (and Safari update). When the iMac boots up the screen resolution/desktop gets enlarged just as the spotlight icon appears. As I move the mouse around the screen the desktop moves with it. The desktop is about 5%-10% larger than the standard size. Tried display preferences with no effect. Zapped PRAM. Re-installed updates individually,nothing works.Help!

You probably have 'Zoom' enabled in the Universal Access preferences. Have a play around in there to find the setting to turn it off (sorry for the vague directions but I'm on a Linux machine at the moment ) -
ITunes visualizer and movie on extended desktop
I run iTunes 9 for my live show. I have a projector on stage set up as an extended desktop. I can play a video or visualizer on the screen and when it ends it displays my logo that I have on the desktop. I need to upgrade iTunes for my IPad and iPod but I can't loose this functionality.
Version 9 procedure:
Double click on movies tab creating a new iTunes window.
Drag iTunes main window to extended desktop
Minimize iTunes main window to dock
Click on movie on main screen. Movie plays on extended desktop.
Movie ends and desktop pic is displayed.
Same procedure woks on visualizer. It plays full screen on extended desktop then displays desktop pic when turned off.
With latest version of iTunes the iTunes main window pops out of the dock and is displayed on extended desktop after movie or visualizer ends.
Any way to stop this from happening? I can't have the audience see the iTunes window!

How can I import an m4v movie from my desktop to my event Library in iMovie? I want to include the m4v movie into another project in iMovie.
When you import DV Stream from tape, iMovie 11 will assume that you are importing raw footage from a camera, rather than a finished movie. It will create a new clip everytime it detects a scene break (the record start/stop button was pressed). These clips will be placed in chronolgical order - not the order they were on the tape.
One way around this is to import the tape into the application that you used to create it. For example, if you used iMovie 6, import the tape back into imovie 6. In iMovie 6, you can export the tape back out using FILE/EXPORT USING QUICKTIME. Choose the DV codec in an MOV container. You can then import this MOV file into iMovie 11 and have everything in the proper order for your finished movie.
Another option is to use FInal Cut Pro X. -
Running my 3rd generation iPad on iOS 7.0.4, I saturated all the available iPad screen space (which would be the 15 home screens or desktop worth of space) with apps, and the apps that got bumped out of the last screen space mysteriously disappeared. Where are those missing quick lauch app icons now? The apps are still installed and can be searched/accessed through the finder, but they no longer have a user friendly access. How can I solve this problem?

Howcome I cant copy a 12 GB movie from my desktop to my external. my external is fomatted as MS-DOS (FAT32)
because the MAX limit is 6gig on that formatting.
if the drive is BLANK or you have another drive, format it in Mac OSX extended journaled and that will remove the SIZE block. -

yes you can alter SAP Standard screen, this can be achieved via development but taking so much pain to do this is better user select what the reason is.
this is given in standard SAP since there may be more than one reason, your requirement is unique.

In the goods movement screen of CO13, the deletion icon provided is de-activated by default. Is it possible to activate it? If possible - how?

In some thread, I read that some expert had asked to delete the materials from the goods movements list.

*If you want to cancel only the confirmation, then after selecting the last operation for cancelling in CO13, hit the "Goods Movement" button, here you delete the line items which is basically to reverse GR & GI along with Confirmation.*
If you need to reverse the goods movement also, then follow the same step in the goods movement overiew scroll to the right side of the screen to find the field "Reason for cancellation", take a drop down and select the reason and save.

During conf-plant field in goods movement screen - to be didplay
During Confirmation of a process order, in the goods movement screen, user can change the plant for a component...As a default it is copying the order header plant.
Since it is a changeable field i.e. value can be changed , user is changing the filed value and system is issuing the material from that plant.
Since the user has authorization in many both plant, hence I cannot restrict by authorization.
I tried in CO86 to change field status, but I am not in the position to get the plant filed in goods movement screen.
I am changing the screen with transaction variant, but I need to change all the training documents which is very big job and train many people.

Not fully sure but i think you can use the BADi ( WORKORDER_CONFIRM) to acheive this.

Interface - IF_EX_WORKORDER_CONFIRM
Methods = AT_SAVE, BEFORE_UPDATE, IN_UPDATE, AT_CANCEL_CHECK
Within this a system message may be issued only in in these conditions, while saving the confirmation ERROR_WITH_MESSAGE (for AT_SAVE method) or NOT_ALLOWED (for AT_CANCEL_CHECK method) at the same time
Just try this with your ABAP consultant ...
IT'll not make the plant field in display mode..but send an error if doesn't match with the plant in order header

In Production order in operation overview check if control key is correctly maintained or not.
Also in Production order component over view if the back flush is unticked then that material will not be seen in CO11N goods movement. -
How to mirror ipad screen on desktop?

I often do web meeting from my desktop and want to get my ipad screen on my desktop. Is there any app that will display my ipad screen to desktop. My both the device are on diffrent network. Ipad is using 3g datacard and laptop is using office LAN.
I have tried teamviewer, gotomeeting, cisco webex, skype but not able to share ipad screen for all activities.
Note: using IBM Cognos Mobile App and want to share this to show mobile BI reports to my meeting users.

I am using system 10.8.2 and have an issue with the screen saver not filling the screen. the desktop does, but not the screen saver. I find adjustments for the desktop, but not the saver. Would appreciate any suggestions.
I have a group of my images that rotate, and yes it happens oneach. I do believethat I have at one time had the images cover the entire screen, however I cannor remember how I made that happen, just like the desktop. I am sure it is old'ites setting in!
