Move tool not working correctly, will not move individual layers only only groups.

Everytime I try to move a layer within a group it moves the entire group OR if it is not in a group it moves every single layer.
The only way this does not happen is if I use the transform tool to move. This stinks for work-flow.
Im not sure if I accidently made a change somewhere OR this is a bug ? Any fixes or suggestions?

Cannot get Typewriter tool to work correctly

i have acrobat professional 8.2.6 When filling in forms I have always had to click on the Typwriter for each line of text to be completed. PDF documents that I receive via email and open with following text above form :" Please fill out the following form" (with instructions for distribution for form author) I am able to fill out in a breeze, type is adjusted automatically for width of form field, etc. For PDF's that I have with the following message above form "This PDFcan be completed using the Typewriter Tool" I have a terrible time completing. As stated above I have to click on the Typewriter tool each time I want to fill in a new line of text; the cursor will open at new lines too low or high on page so I have to create text box and drag (each time I want to fill a new line) and I am unable to change font style or size. I am sure there is something I am just not accessing but I am mystified what it is. I am on macbook pro running OS 10.6.7

When you recieve a form that has already had fields added to it, filling it out is, as you said, a breeze. The typewriter tool is a commenting tool and wasn't really designed to be used for filling out forms, though admittedly, a lot of our users do just that. Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of customization options available to make the tool easier for you to use when filling out these forms.
It's simply not what the tool was designed for.

My LR 5.4 Crop Tool isnt Working correctly?

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15" fully loaded with the 27" Monitor, I am running Mac 10.9.2 Mavericks and just updated to LR 5.4. It is the second time I have used LR on it since I bought it. When I went to crop a photo from 4X6 to 8X10, it is not changing the photo in the view. It looks like the thumbnails show it changed, but I would like to see it in the full view. I have tried rebooting it, and still get the same results, can anyone help me out? I have never had this problem in 4 years of use.

This is my HW and SW configuration:
LabView 2013 SP1
1x cRIO 9076
4x NI 9853 CAN Modules
CAN0 - 1000 kbps, Input Timeout=0, OutputTimeOut=10000, Module Clock: 20MHz
CAN1 - 500 kbps, Input Timeout=0, OutputTimeOut=10000, Module Clock: 20MHz
I have been working on a program for a test system, where each 9853 Module controls two devices (CAN0 and CAN1), the same type of systems will be controlled by the other 3 9853 Modules in parallel.
So basicaly, I use exactly the same Functions for every module. Until now, everything has been working correctly on module 1, but now that I started testing all other modules I have the problem that Module 3/CAN0 does not read the information correctly.
While looking at the FPGA frontpanel, i see that every 10000ms one value is read, but only on this ONE module (CAN frames are sent every 1ms from my device)
I tested the HW itself using the examples included and it works correctly, the only difference is that the example only used 2 Modules, one to send data and one to recieve it.
I am including my FPGA program as a picture, I realy do not think this is a problem with my RT SW, because all other modules work correctly. Basicaly, my FPGA SW only reads the CAN Modules and puts the information in a FIFO, if there is an error (no information) it will loop once more and check again.

I have solved the problem, it was a configuration error from my side.
The input timeout for Module3 CAN1 was configured as 10000ms and NOT as 0ms as I thought ! , so this was making my Read Loop for DUT3 run only every 10000ms.

Crop tool not working properly

I have CS4 photoshop. The crop tool was working correctly before, but now when I try to crop an image the tool doesn't cover the whole image the way it used to. It doesn't pull down across the whole image. Did one of my preferneces change? Please help me!!

Direct selection tool not showing anchors illustrator CS3, Mac 10.5.8, MBP 2.6 GHz

With the direct selection tool (white arrrow) moving over an anchor they show up, but even if the anchor is selected the anchor blue box disappears as soon as the mouse moves away, so its impossible to select a handle. I can still move an anchor, but its hard to select two anchors to joint the paths etc., sort of like driving blind. If I click on a path, then hold down the command key, the hollow box anchors show up and the cursor changes into the selection tool. The hollow boxes show up on selecting using the selection tool (black arrow). I am pretty direct selection tool was working correctly last week (am an occasional user).
I've know the difference between the select tool, direct selection tool, and group selection tool. I think this happened a year ago and deleting a preference file helped. I, quit illustrator, deleted "com.adobe.illustrator.plist" in my user library, and tried again. that didn't help.

Configuration tool not starting

Hi,
I'm trying to install FDM on an already installed EPM 11.1.2 system.
I had previously installed HSS, Essbase, EPMA, Reporting and Analysis, PLanning.
The install of FDM went well, when I click configure on the finished installation page nothing happened, as usual. So I went to the start menu and launched the config tool from there.
That's when the strange thing happens. I have a terminal window listing the different checking the process performs.
One of them fails with the following message:
Running Windows system32 directory check... FATAL ERROR: Windows system32 directory failed with the message "C:\Windows\System32" not present in PATH"
I suppose it has something to do with a environment variable but I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Note that before installing FDM, I also installed Oracle Data Integrator this morning. Before I did this, the Config tool was working correctly.

Hi,
I solved the previous issue. It was indeed a problem of environment variable.It appears that ODI overwrote my PATH variable instead of adding it's own path to it. I manage to make it work by getting the value of my PATH env variable from another server that I previously installed. Luckily I'm do all my installs the same way and the PATH worked.
But now I'm facing another issue. I'm still trying to configure FDM. I'm starting with the ERP integrator, I created a database HERPINT like I always do for other products. But I get a ConnectException, the error message in the config tool is: "Got minus one from a read call".
It looks like my config tool cannot access my SQL server anymore. Meanwhile, I was able to login in shared services and workspace, so they can access SQL server.
Can anyone help ?

Alarm & Event Query To Spreadsheet File VI doesn't work correctly (DSC 7.1)

I am using the Alarm & Event Query To Spreadsheet File VI to write alarms/events to an Excel spreadsheet. However there are two things it does wrong:
1. Global variables in the header are not correctly inserted. I am using the header "{creationDate}{delimiter}{creationTime}" but none of the variables are translated to their actual values. The same header in Write Traces To Spreadsheet VI works correctly, so I assume it is only the Alarm & Event Query To Spreadsheet File VI that isn't working.
2. My display format is set to display the date of the alarms but it never appears. Set time/ACK time, etc all appear, just not the date.
Can anyone explain what might be wrong?

I have been looking into this problem for you and I can't quite figure out exactly what it is you are trying to do. Could you possibly send me your VI's (for the Alarm & Event Query To Spreadsheet File VI and for the Write Traces To Spreadsheet VI) so I can get a better idea of it.
Have you looked at the Export Alarms to File VI in the LabVIEW examples that are installed with the DSC module. This is a very good VI and it might help you to see any faults in your code.

After I updated on IOS 8, I can not delete individual messages, only delete all and the trash can is gone!!! Anyone else having this problem?

The option is still there - hold down on said text - more - then hit the trash icon.

Illustrator CS - Selection Tool not working correctly

Hi all...
A customer of ours has an odd Illustrator CS problem. When she tries to use the Selection Tool to select any item, it auto-selects everything. Even if she uses the selection box by dragging the cursor over anything, it selects all the different items in the image.
Has anyone seen this or fixed it before?

How about this?...
With the selection tool/black arrow tool, you can select the object, change the color or opacity and move it...but can't un-group it.
With the direct select tool/white arrow tool, when you try to select an individual shape to make slight changes to the path...the anchor points will show up as you mouse over them, but nothing shows when you click on the path.
When drawing a new shape with the pen tool, the anchor points don't show as you draw the shape. No handles appear...but the shape shows up. It's like feeling your way around a dark room on instinct.
...and it's only doing this in one particular file. When another file is opened all the quirks listed above do not happen. Each tool works as it should.

Have you tried a soft-reset to see if that fixes it ? You might be able to get warranty service in Egypt for your iPad, but the warranty includes :
IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE AND iPAD SERVICE.
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
As it's wifi-only you should have a better chance of it being serviced under warranty, but there are no guarantees, it might depend upon the repairer.

Eye Dropper Tool (Color Picker Tool) not working correctly - Premiere CC - Windows 8 - Multiple Displays

I'm running Windows 8, Premiere CC 2014 with two monitors. The eye dropper tool (color picker tool) isn't working correctly. It is selecting colors that are not the colors being hovered over. I've reasearched and see solutions to the problem when occurring with Mac, but do not see a solution for Windows. When I disconnect the second monitor, the eye dropper tool works correctly (as described by Mac users). I deleted any profiles for the montors that weren't the same, and still having the issue. I've also tried putting the source monitor on the second monitor, and tried sampling color from there... same result.
