Move transparent container from tab to new view

Hi
I have a scenario where I wish to move the whole layout structure from a tab to a new view.
Essentially I want to move from a tabstrip to a roadmap type of development. My issue is that if I copy the transparent container that houses the whole structure, when I paste the structure all my elements have _CP. Is there any way to paste without have this suffix?

PS: Obviously monkeying around with the component using find and replace on the XML and importing via SAPLink could be dangerous. I just thought after I posted I should stress the warning a little more. You probably want to copy your entire component before attempting this - just incase it completely screws things up.

How can I move my account from old to new computer

I have my new iPhone 4s activated via old PC which is just dying out. When I connected my iPhone to a new laptop, iTunes came with message that if I proceed with sync I will loose music, apps that are already on the phone. How can I transfer my iTunes account with the old purchased stuff into my new computer? Can anyone help?

New Computer - How do I move my library from Old to New Computer?

Hi,
I bought a new computer and want to transfer all my music from the old one to the new one.
This is what I did so far:
Copied the entire iTunes directory from my old computer into an external hard drive.
Then loaded the entire iTunes folder from the hard Drive to the existing iTunes directory in the new Laptop.
Now, none of the songs showed up in my iTunes Library screen.
So I had to basically drag them from windows explorer into the iTunes Library screen. However, none of the album artwork, or ratings, etc, are there (i copied all those files from old to new computer as they were in the original directories in my old computer, I think)... It looks like i'll have to do all that work again!
Is there a way to do this one shot??

How do I move contacts etc from old to new phone ??

Hi, we bought my stepson an iPhone 5c for xmas and I want to move all his info from his old 3G to his new phone but I seem to be struggling.
To start with I did a full backup of is old phone through his laptop ( not an Apple ) through iTunes and then connected the 5C and updated the software etc and just assumed that it would ask me at some point if I wanted to transfer the information but nothing happened and I seem to have come to a grinding halt.
Can anyone help me as I really want to sort it before he arrives back tomorrow

More often than not, your iPhone 3g will have contacts spread across multiple accounts (including local "phone" account) that are not backed up by Google contacts. Just got a new Mac with Lion on it.
I have moved my iTunes Library collection over from old computer to new one.
But, how can I move all my old 'PlayLists' from my other machine to my new one as I don't want to spend days re-making them all?

The iTunes Library.itl file is a database of the songs in your library and the playlists you've created. Some song-specific data is saved in this file. If you delete the file, iTunes creates a new, empty copy when you open the application, but any playlists, song ratings, comments, or other information you created is lost.
Find the file on your old Mac and copy it to your new Mac.

Move PSE6 catalog from XP to new computer Windows 7

Help! I have a new computer with Windows 7 installed. The store I purchased it from did a data transfer for me so the "My Pictures" folder was moved into the new computer. I just downloaded the PSE6 program again as programs were not moved.
Now what do I do?? I have an External Hard Drive connected to the old computer and had made a full and 3 incremental backups through PSE6. (I have 127gb of photos as shoot in raw).
I have read some info on this site so am confused..... should I delete the "My Pictures" (all the photos) from the new computer first?
I have an External hard drive connected to the old computer. Should I do a FULL backup and send it to that External HD then plug that into the new computer and download from that?
Would appreciate your help (in simple precise terms - not very computer literate! ) as I don't want to lose my Catalog as it has a lot of collections.

First make sure you've got a precise record of what your key is and who it's registered to. (I usually just print out a screenshot of the existing "Register" tab in my QuickTime preferences.)
Now on the old PC, go into your QuickTime control panel. In the "Register" tab, clear the key from the QuickTime Registration section and click OK.
Now on the new PC, reenter those details in the "Register" tab and click OK.

It appears(??) I was successful at moving all the songs I purchased from itunes. Am at my wits end trying to figure out how to get the songs I got off CD's that are now in my ipod and original library to the new computer.

I just purchased and downloaded elements 11. How do I move my Topaz and OnOne plugins from my old elements 10 to my new 11?
Also I am having an error 1316.A when trying to uninstall elements 10; got rid of editor but not organizer; what should I do to overcome the error problem and uninstall 10?

Uninstallation problem-
In order to run the cleaner tool you don't need to uninstall 11. Simply run the cleaner tool and it will ask which version to remove.

Plugins issue-
First copy the plugins folder of topaz and OnOne and paste it on pse 11 plug-in folder after pse 11 installtion . If this will working fine don't need to get help from Topaz and OnOne.
Tags issue-
Uninstallation does not do with catalogues , after installion pse 11 it convert the catalogue as it with tags and star-ratings ,
if you feel still some tools (like-cs5 cleaner )hamper your catalogue make a backup of it

You may have CS6 activated on two computers at any one time. Load it onto your new computer using the discs or from here: Download CS6 products. Now enter your serial number. Now go to Help>Deactivate on your old system to free up that activation.
And here is the latest update for CS6: Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop 13.0.1.3 update for CS6. Apply this after installing.

My tabs abruptly change from tabs to new firefox windows.

When I have several tabs open to different website, clicking on a particular tab frequently leads firefox to change the tab into a new instance of firefox, that is, a new window. This began happening a few weeks ago and seems to be happening more frequently. It happens on different computers also.

a manual backup will help:
Disable autosync in itunes, connect your phone, right click on it in the device list and choose backup.

Transfer your purchases the same way to copy all apps and bought media from the Store to your computer.
Set up at least one contact and event on your computer to be able the merge your calendars and contacts after your phone got wiped during the first sync.

Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

How to move a playlist from ipod onto new authorized computer

I just authorized a new computer and downloaded our music to its iTunes library. All of our previous playlists are gone. I would like to copy a few playlists from my ipod into my iTunes account so that I don't have to recreate them.

Ok. I exported the playlist from my PC to my Mac. Here's what happened. The playlist came over but the dates reverted to the dates of the songs that were on the Mac. It only retained the order. I can live with that, but I will never be able to sort it correctly and when I want to add music to this list, I will have to manually drag the songs from the bottom of the list to the top. Its not the best solution, but it works for now. In the future, Apple should consider preserving the date added or purchased info and transfer that along with the library.

Move container from Global Shared Workarea to other workarea

Hi,
I (newbie) had my application in the Global Shared Workarea without version control, but in order to have more workareas and users, I enabled the version control.
Right now, I have a new user and a new Workarea for that user, and I'd like to move the container from the Global Shared Workarea to this new workarea. Or just copy to the new workarea and then delete the one in Global Shared Workarea .
How can I achieve it?
I've seen how to move within the same workarea, but not between workareas.

You only have one object and they are shared between the workareas.
For example. If I have a table bonus and have 5 workareas that have included the application all 5 WA's are working on the same table. If I check out the table and add a column, another checks out the table and changes the a column length. it is happening to different versions of the same table. then when everyone is done you will have to merge to get all the changes into one final tablle. Of course you have an option of locking a checkedout table so no one else can work on it.

My iTunes just updated itself. Now the screen looks totally different. I want to manually move a playlist from the new iTunes to my iPod classic. It worked perfectly yesterday, but now that that the iTunes updated, the page doesn't show my iPod so I can't manually move the playlist to the iPod.

It sounds like you're running into an issue syncing music to your iPod classic since updating iTunes because of the way it looks now. You can make iTunes look more like the previous version by showing the Sidebar, as described in the article below.
