Move what is needed to have iTunes look to D HDD instead of C SSD

I have a new windows computer (Windows 8 operating system without touch screen) that contains a 1T HHD (Hard Disc Drive) and a 250 SSD (Solid State Drive).
I have a large amount of music which would fill the SSD, so I want to store all the music on the D Drive.
I also want to open iTunes and have it include all those songs from D Drive as part of the library.
I cannot put all the music into iTunes since it is on the C drive, so I want to know what to do so that when I open iTunes, it has as part of the library all the songs from the D drive as well as those already part of iTunes.
I am NOT a computer geek, having learned the above initials from Best Buy...
Please tell me in simple steps how to accomplish my goal. Do I just drag the entire folder of iTunes from the C drive to D and then copy all the songs to iTunes, or what????

I'm currently trying to download Stanza for Desktop, but whenever I click on "Open with iTunes" my browser redirects me to the download page and says

Except I have iTunes. I've had it for ages. My iPod Touch is completely up to date, I've just installed the latest version of iTunes, but still, nothing. I've never had this problem before, usually links just open iTunes up right away, but for some reason, it won't register my iTunes and open the download.

It appears to be out of date so far as the warranty is concerned. There may have been some minor detritus slipped down the side of the key. See if you can find a buush with stiff but fine hair. Perhaps a toothbrush. Then brush around the key. It is possible to remove the key if you are very careful and that would make it easier but you have to be very careful. You are sure there hasn't been any liquid spilt; even the smallest amount can cause a drama..

Bought movie, watched movie several times, now only have itunes extras, where did it go?

Ok i have several hundred tv shows and 100+ movies in my itunes library, all of a sudden movies are dissapearing after ive owned them for months and watched them several times. Still have the itunes extras, jstu no movie. when i go to the store to redownload them its wants me to repurchase them. Dont wanna do that, jstu want to have my movies back. What changes are needed to have iDS 5.1 support SHA instead of SSHA as the default ?

We have an application that ONLY supports SHA passwords
and when we upgraded from iDS 4.16 to iDS 5.1 it doesnt
work any more. Looking further, iDS 4.16 supported SHA
as the default for password storage and iDS 5.1 supports the more secure SSHA as its default.
Is there a way that we can specify what accounts use
SHA versus SSHA ? If not, how do you configure iDS 5.1

Hello, I read your response and I have a slightly different problem. I have set up a LDAP on Iplanet 5.1 and imported users from our old 4.x directory. When I did this everyone was added with their existing SHA hashed password.
Now any new users that we have been adding have been loaded to the directory whit an SSHA hased password. This has caused a problem with some of our applications that require an SHA hashed password.
I know where I can reset the default password hashing for the LDAP, but is there a way I can convert the passwords for the few hundred users that we entered before figuring this out from the SSHA hashed password to the SHA hashed password? I tried to do this via an LDIF import and when the LDIF file contained a userpassword value that began with {SSHA}, that is the way it was imported.
Is there a way to have the IPlanet LDAP do this? Or write a simple program to do this? We don't want to have each one of these users have to enter a new password and then have the LDAP server encrypt it, we would rather just take the existing SSHA hashed password and convert it to an SHA hashed password. Is this possible?

i'm building a stand alone application that puts the collected data into Microsoft Word, and it then sends the word report to the printer when click Print from my LabVIEW. But when click Print it runs and generates error message that says "Error 7 occured at Open VI Reference in Dispose Report.vi ->Word Report.vi ->Main.vi". I think i'm missing something during building application stage but i'm not sure what it is. How can i approach this error?

In the cd with the report generation toolkit you can find the procedure for building an executable.
You have to add the following vi's dinamically:
- vi.lib\addons\_office\_exclsub.llb\_excel dynamic vis.vi
- vi.lib\addons\_office\_wordsub.llb\_word dynamic vis.vi

Need to..? Probably not, at least not if it is running iOS 5. In principle you can set up the device with a working Wi-Fi connection to the Internet, back it up to iCloud and download future updates independently of iTunes. However you still need iTunes to transfer non-iTunes Store purchased media to the device so you may find iTunes still has its uses.
Depending on what region you are in you can download previously purchased apps, books, music and TV shows as often as you like (provided they are still available in the store) but movies and (strangely) audiobooks are still on a one time only download, so it you have any of these, or plan to, then a connection to iTunes will be the only way to backup those items.

FOUND THE ANSWER!!
Apparently when you plug your iPhone in to your computer, Windows will "sometimes" install the drivers as a camera, putting them in the wrong place. This is why it will pop up in Windows so you can take photos off, but iTunes can't see it. SO, what you have to do is move the driver file (USBAAPL.SYS) to the correct location. Follow the directions I found below & your iTunes should be fixed (worked for me):
What works is to just force the drivers on what windows thinks is a camera, i.e. to ‘update’ the device to use the correct driver. There are some hints on how to do this already listed on this forum, but I’ll try to give some more detailed information:
1. First off you need to have iTunes installed and the ipod touch plugged in
and recognized as ‘something’ e.g. digital camera (it shouldn’t really
matter what it’s recognized as, but it needs to be found by windows).
2. Search for usbaapl in the C:\WINDOWS system folder:
o open windows explorer (e.g. Right-click Start and then click ‘explore’)
o right-click the WINDOWS folder and select ‘Search’).
o type in usbaapl and hit Search – try to ignore the dog!
You should find the driver info in a sub folder of
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE e.g. C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B
Remember that location (either leave the search box open or copy the folder
name into note pad – you’ll need it later)
If you don’t find usbaapl.sys, usbaapl.inf etc. then your drivers have not
been installed with the iTunes install and you’ll have to reinstall iTunes.
3. Locate the ipod-camera device:
o Open the device manager, e.g. using Start > Control Panel >
Performance and Maintenance > System > Hardware Tab > Device Manager
o Look for a device called ‘ipod’ - if your ipod shows up as
‘digital camera’ it will be under something like ‘imaging devices’.
4. Update the driver:
o Right click the ‘ipod-camera’ in device manager and click on
‘Update Driver’ – the Hardware Update Wizard will open.
o Check the ‘Install from a list or specific location’ then click ‘Next’
o Check ‘Search for the best driver in these locations’. Un-check
‘Search removable media’ and check ‘Include this location in the search’.
In the text box below type (or better copy and paste) the folder
containing the ipod driver information found in step 1 (in the example
above it was C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRVSTORE\usbaapl_A65621D65F5B7 507DD7B22331826547BDD2D206B),
then click Next.
You should now see something like ‘Apple ipod device driver’ or so. Continue
installing that device. Once the driver has been installed the ipod will come
to life and iTunes (if you have it open) will show it.
If for some reason this doesn't work, try downloading the file here:

It's still not working. I went through every step and still can't get my Iphone to show up on my itunes.
Though I did find that the USB driver is not listed under any devices...
