MOVED: ? about USB bracket that came with P35 Neo2-FR

This topic has been moved to Intel Core Duo and Core 2 Duo based boards.
https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=113849.0

This would have to be connected to JBD1 connector on your mobo for the D-Leds to work. BUT: JBD1 is optional on P35 Neo-FR so I don't know if it is physically there. You might have a look: JBD1 would be between SATA7/Battery and JUSB2 (See layout, page 13 of your manual)

Yes, I've been using it for months. And I can charge other devices with it. (my iPhone) but something weird just happened..... I kept on pluging it in the iPod and sometimes it would start to chàrge then sometimes it won't charge. Charges every time with the iPhone though.

  • Why does only the USB cable that came with my phon...

I recently acquired a Nokia Lumia Icon from Verizon.  I have a Lenovo Yoga Pro 2 computer running Windows 8.1 with the Windows Phone App for Desktop (WPA4D) installed.  I had a very difficult time getting my Icon to be seen by my computer when connecting it with one of the half dozen micro USB cables I have laying around.  WPA4D would not recognize it.  Then, I connected it using the USB cable that came with the phone, and WPA4D immediately recognized it.  Then I unplugged it and went back to a different cable - it was again not recognized.
What is different about the USB cable that ships with the Nokia Lumia Icon?  If I want to order more, like from Monoprice, what do I order to get the same thing?  Why is Nokia (apparently) using some sort of proprietary cable??
    Thanks,
    Eric

It is not proprietary. The charging/data cable for my GPS works.
A lot of the cables are just for charging and that is all they are wired for and they don't even have the data pin. Full size USB cables are the same way.
If I needed an extra I would get it from Nokia.

  • HT4623 I lost my original USB cord that came with my phone- does that mean I can't update my phone with iTunes?

I lost the original USB cord that came with my phone. I don't have enough available space on my phone to update wirelessly either and no matter how much I delete I still can't seem to free up enough space to update. I don't know what to do? My phone won't connect to any iTunes.

You have two options at this point.
    Option 1
    1) Buy another cord and attach to itunes (applestore will have them or you can order them online).
    2) Find another cord to use.
    Option 2
    1) Connect your device to a wifi connection and plug device into a power source.
    2) Backup your device in icloud using: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766.
    3) Erase all content and settings.
    4) Setup as a new iphone (and do not restore from backup).
    5) Your phone should now be completely blank.
    6) software update over wifi.
    7) Setup your phone and restore from icloud backup.
    8) Gratz your running the latest version.

  • I lost the USB cable that came with my phone (wt19i Live With Walkman)

I lost the USB cable that came with my phone (wt19i Live With Walkman). However, the charging power adapter still here.
I don't have any other cable.
My phone's USB port use Micro-B connector.
If I buy a high quality USB cable with Micro-B connector, will it be compatible for both charging and data transfer?
Is it necessary to buy the original Sony Ericsson USB cable? If yes, which model should I buy?

  • My USB cord that came with my iphone 5 stopped working, is that covered under my iphone 5 1 year warranty?

Cord will not work with charger or computer. This is the same one that came with my iphone 5 and I still have my one year warranty. Where do I have to go and submit a claim? I've tried online and always get an error when I try submitting it.

All package contents are included with the one year warranty.
Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby.

  • What is function of USB cable that came with 15" PowerBook G4 Combo?

Here's a really easy way to score 10 points.
Among the cables that shipped with my 15" PowerBook G4 Combo and the accompanying 20" Cinema Display two years ago is a USB cable with a silver cord. At the other end from the USB plug is a black triangular plug with a square metal end encased in plastic. (I can't get the plastic off, so I assume it's part of the plug and not protective casing for shipping.)
Can somebody please tell me what this cable is for? I never found anything in the documentation that explained what it was, and since I've apparently never needed it, I don't know. I looked at the Forums for the 15" G4 but didn't know what search terms to use, and a Google Image search didn't turn up anything I recognized.
    Powerbook G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)   15"

Oh, jeez. And I thought this would be simple.
Alas, I can't remember whether it came with the PB or the display, but I think Michael might be right (more pyramidal than triangular). Head-on: mouth is the right shape, doesn't have what looks like a notch in his drawing.
The tech at AppleCare also thought it sounded like a printer/scanner USB cable. It's definitely not one of the short connector critters in the article a brody refers to (but it was fun looking at the pictures).
I did a scan and have a clear picture of the plug, but no website to put it on; I'm also not sure what a brody's instructions refer to. (Look at it this way, if I knew stuff like that I probably wouldn't be posting a topic like this.)
So I have another idea: I live near an Apple store, and I'll go there soon, and if someone there can identify it (based on past experience, I'm not so sure), I'll come back here and then we'll know.
    Thanks to all. Anon.

  • It's about the mouse that came with it;..

my mighty mouse is over-sensitive, when I click on the side buttons to use expose it works, but every time i just lay y hand on the mouse it does expose too, and it gets REALLLYYY annoying when I'm using the computer and everything keeps zooming all over the place. Is there any way I can open the mouse or fix it somehow?

I've had this problem with every wired Mighty Mouse I've owned, although I have a wireless Mighty Mouse at work and it never has the problem. My old mice took a while to get this way, but I just got a brand new iMac, which came with a new MM, and it had the problem right out of the box.
Even though I don't use the side buttons for anything, disabling them isn't sufficient. You still hear the static-like clicking as if you'd squeezed the mouse. It drives me crazy. The first time it started happening I thought it was coming from the computer itself, and thought the hard drive might have been going bad.

  • Game that came with k8n Neo2

I am not a gamer and my Neo2 came with a game. It says Chaos Legion on the front and Unreal tournament 2004 on the back.  I am going to sell it on ebay and want to know what to list it as. Unreal tournament 2004 or Chaos Legion or what?

They have stuck one in my order too. My stuff won't be here until Tues. though.
Yea, zipzoomfly. So, is it 2 games or 1?
It says "Game with MSI" on it and "MSI only exclusive bundle". It's heavy so there must be alot of discs in it.

  • When I plug my iPhone in to my computer with the usb cable that came with the phone the screen says, "Charging is not supported with this device".  How can I fix this?

When I use the same cable with the wall adapter it charges just fine.

LOL     My situation is the opposite.  plug my iPhone 3GS with USB cable and attach to mini adaptor (or whatever the small one is called) and it does not charge. Connect the same iPhone 3GS to my MacBook, using same cable, an charging takes place for iPhone.  Then,  connected the iPhone to the AC power with the large Apple AC  adaptor and it always charges. Seems to be the small adaptor and sometimes a third party automobile adapter.
At first I thought this might be because I was using third party USB cable, but now wonder about that since there are so many problems that others are having.
Having scoured the discussions, it appears no definitive answer has been given.  Am I wrong. Maybe I never found the answer to what is happening here.
if you can help, please reply to help all of us with the issue still - June 2011.
    Thanks!

  • I cant figure out why my HTC Droid DNA is no longer recognized by my computer when i hook it up with the USB cable that came with the phone.

I used to be able to just plug in my phone with the USB cable to my Windows 7 computer and browse phone storage with no issues. Now my computer sees it as an android phone but when it tries to automatically install the drivers for my phone on the computer, i get an access denied error message. No option on the phone that i can see that allows me to mount phone as a usb drive. This used to work just fine with nothing more than just hooking up the cable. What gives??

Let's get that access granted again, e_rock_b. The HTC DNA doesn't have a special USB Mass Storage Mode that needs to be turned on. Usually, it's as simple as connecting and browsing http://vz.to/1jktbZD as you mentioned. If your computer is no longer allowing that easy access, try the steps at http://vz.to/1jktvr6.
