You need to be sure to lower your HT multiplier to 3 if you're going to go above 250 ht. Just remember to keep the HT but running right around 1000 (the product of your ht multiplier multiplied by your ht speed.
For instance, if you're going to run your processor at 2.4Ghz your HT will have to be 267 Mhz. With the default HT muiltiplier of 5 that will give your a HTT of 1335 Mhz which is way to ohigh. If you lower that down to 3, it'll be 798 which is much closer. It is a toss up between 3 and 4 depending on if 4 is stable (267*4=1068). I ran my Neo4-F at 1068 HTT and 2.4Ghz for a long time with no stability issues.

I just ordered a MSI Neo4 Platinum/SLI (came with v 3.3 bios) and a AMD Ven 3000+ E6 thinking that I would be able to overclock it to 2.4 Ghz minimum. But my plans have been cut short, god knows why......
The thing is, no matter what I try I cant get the HTT above 227 Mhz. If I try ClockGen, windows reboots and in bios the thing wont POST.
I set the CPU Multi to 7 and HTT multi to 4. Even increased VDIMM to 2.85V (but at 100 Mhz divider, it was hardly necessary), loosened the timings, went to 2T mode, increased VCORE to 1.55V, increased NV Volts to 1.6V.
No help. I took the plunge and flashed to V 3.7 but same results. Evidently the 3.7 were supposed to add support for E6 core Venice but I dont know whats up. If I cant get a decent overclock on the CPU, it will bottleneck the rest of my system completely (7800GTX, WD Raptor x 2 RAID-0.)
I have a CoolerMaster 450W ACLX powersupply.

Command-Option-Escape does the same as
Apple Menu > Force Quit...
It opens a floating box that lists current major Applications and their status (e.g., Not responding) and allows you to force quit any single Application or re-launch the Finder.

recently i have flashed the latest bios 1.9 of msi nforce 4 u platinum, everything work fine untill yesterday.some stanges happened......
my power doesnt have a on and off button on it ,every time i turn off the pc , i have to turn off the power button of a socket near by the pc.everytime it works fine, but yesterday when i turn on the power on button of that socket , the pc automatic start, i didint turn on the power button of pc, what a weird problem.. also when i go into os , the system time also changed, although i can turn them back to correct one in bios and os, but when i turn the pc off , it changed again... could any one help me out , what is teh real problem of my pc. some virus ?thanks a lot.

it seems the first question has been solved. cos today when i turn on pc, the oc set up is gone ,in bios, it back to the original set up.i cant save my oc setup, so it definitely a battery problem!!!!!!!!!!!
i take the old battery t o a saler , there they massure it with voltmeter, it shows only 0.97v, but in bios 1.6 it shows 1.82v, so waht is the real meaning of that reading num in bios for battery?it cant be the real voltage of the battery. i buy a new one ,this one is maxcell 2032 hitachi, the old one is shi t panansonic 2032 .the new one shows 3.17v with voltmeter, then i come back , installed the new battery , in bios this time it shows 2.3v in bios 1.6. so the reading num in bios for battery is definitely is not a real reading for your battery.
i will keep my pc in 24/7 using , and i will look if the battery is sable or not , cos untilll now no one come out for a real explain for this stupid battery problem of msi nofroce 4 platinum.i dont want change battery every 2 or 3month, what a real sick of this!!!!

What happens when you try to change the Shuffle's name from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes?

Firstly: I 've search for this question, and I ve found an old post very similar to it.

But, unfortunately, the aswerings did not satisfy me...
The problem is:
I have a TextField that should receive a Credit Card number, meaning, it has to have 15 or 16 numbers.
If I set it as "NUMERIC", when I run the app on my real cellphone (a SonyEricsson w810i), it dont let me enter more than 9 digits. Stringe thing here is: but on emulator, I could...

Yuo can set an ItemStateListener to the Form containing the TextField, and validate the user input in itemStateChanged(...). In case of invalid input, I would show an Alert with an appropriate message, and blank out the content of the TextField (or set it to a default value, as appropriate).

Hi Andy, yes it's a paid Upgrade...
First you need to research all the problems people are having with the higher OSX versions, & make sure you have a bootable clone of what you have just in case.
then you must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.
