Who knows. We don't as this is only a user to user forum and no one from MSI is reading this... You could always use the service link at the top of the forum and ask MSI what they are going to release however past experience says they won't share that info with you. They simply don't release info on what they are going to release, instead they just release it when it is ready.
I used the service link after you post and until now i didnt had anything back

    Hello welcome to the forum,
    nForce3 isn't supported in Vista.
And this is the wrong section of the forum to ask for Vista drivers, see the Vista Section.
Change the power profile to minimal, that should enable C'n'Q. If it doesn't, get the driver from from AMD.

  • MSI Bluetooth Dongle Chipsets?

Hi, I'm looking for a bluetooth dongle which works with skype on my bluetooth headset.
I went through a bunch of cheap ones (ISSC based), and now I'm consdering one from MSI (Btoes 2.0). Can anyone tell me what chipset is in this device? I have had good experience with CSR chipsets, but I can't tell what's inside the Btoes 2.0. The older Btoes appears to have a CSR chipset.
Also, if anyone has experience using either the starkey or the btoes with a Nokia BH-200 successfully I'd appreciate the feedback.
    Thanks!

I have the Motorola v80 which has 5megabyte memory.
So the memory front is not the problem.
edit: I read something about getting some security code or anything like that. I have not been asked to register/type in any code/serial of any kind, not during the installation nor durning sessions when using the dongle. I just find this very odd not working. Isnt there any support I could call for this matter. Im located in Sweden, couldnt find any support or telephone number to MSI in Sweden.
I've just bought a product that doesnt work. Thats not fair

  • MSI Bluetooth Dongle Btoes

    Hi there!
Just got this USB Bluetooth Dongle from MSI called Btoes and wanted to connect my Motorola V80 and transferr some cool pictures to my phone. Though there seem to be a problem, I cant transferr any file bigger than 5985kb. If I try to upload a file to my Motorola larger than 5985kb (e.g. 15053kb) the bar goes to 5985kb then stops and after a while a message pops up sayin' "connection was interrupted" or something like that.
How do I solve this problem?
    thanks!

Well, no one from MSI posts here. This is a user to user forum.  I'm not sure MSI will make drivers for your board as it is an EOL and not listed in their product page. It's only listed in the Archives

Well it's simple. Use the BIOS that works best for you. Anyone here will tell you that.
Yeah, I didn't think on that...

This is a User-to-user Forum. You will find no MSI employees here.
It's really a shame, because the domain is from MSI, the forum use official MSI brand, the host is payed by MSI, so any moderator here is representing indirectly the company and MSI is responsible of all the forum content and his representatives.

EDIT: Just so you know, MSI don't go for bleeding edge. MSI go for the server and OEM market, where there is more money to be had. Asus, Gigabyte and DFI target the ethusiast market. But as ethusiasts only make up <5% of the market, your opinion won't sway that many.
Yes, you're right! Like any customer here I'm no one and nobody gives a  about my opnion and my money wasted on a MSI product because the company only gives a  on OEM market!
Wonderful tought! God bless you soul and from MSI.
I'll need it because only money it's the important, the company image not. Isn't that right?
Quote from: AaronYuri on 22-November-07, 03:28:52
But as for the rest, it's down to your opinion. I recommend all my customers MSI hardware, because you get quality support (this forum) and a fast & friendly RMA service.
A company is as good as it's support.
    Wonderful support.
I imagine if I am a president of a big brazilian PC manufacturer, because the sells of computers in Brazil in that year beats any market in world, and then I see all this bullshit happening from MSI side, then I turn my attention on Gigabyte or Asus (they too act on OEM market and give more attention to your customers).

  • Msi bluetooth headset and msi bluetooth dongle

have both, dongle installed and working, but it cant ever find the headset... any idea?

From my understanding the dock for the bluetooth headset was made for the original iPhone. The dimensions of the iPhone 3g are different, so the dock would not be the right size for the phone. You can still charge the bluetooth headset either in the dock that came with it, or with the cable that also was included in the box. Hope this helps

  • MSI Bluetooth & XP SP2 native bluetooth support

I am getting sick and tired of Widcomm's software stack, my bluetooth device will stop working if the computer has been on for a while, it needs frequent resets, etc.
XPSP2 has native bluetooth support. Does this work with the MSI bluetooth devices, without installing any Widcomm stuff?

Thanks to the Secunia security mailing list for this bulletin:
    Pentest Limited Security Advisory
WIDCOMM Bluetooth Connectivity Software Buffer Overflows
    Advisory Details
Title: WIDCOMM Bluetooth Connectivity Software Buffer Overflows
    Announcement date: 11 August 2004
    Advisory Reference: ptl-2004-03
    CVE Name: CAN-2004-0775
    Products: WIDCOMM Bluetooth Connectivity Software
    Vulnerability Type : Buffer Overflow
    Vendor-URL: http://www.widcomm.com
    Vendor-Status: Fixed in release 3.0
    Remotely Exploitable: Yes
    Locally Exploitable: N/A
    Advisory URL: http://www.pentest.co.uk/documents/ptl-2004-03.html
    Vulnerability Description
WIDCOMM's products provides a full range of Bluetooth connectivity
solutions for PCs, PDAs, mobile phones, headsets, digital cameras,
access points, and various output devices.
An unauthenticated remote attacker can submit various malformed service
requests via Bluetooth, triggering a buffer overflow and executing
arbitrary code on the vulnerable device.
On Windows platforms this allows arbitrary code execution under the
context of the currently logged on user account.
    Vulnerable Versions
WIDCOMM supply their Bluetooth Communications software to other
companies to allow them to integrate Bluetooth technology into their
devices. They also supply Bluetooth SDK's to enable developers to create
applications that use Bluetooth. Therefore it may not be immediately
apparent that you are using the WIDCOMM Bluetooth software and version
    numbers may vary.
    WIDCOMM's website (http://www.widcomm.com/Partners/index.asp) reports
the following companies as customers or partners with WIDCOMM:
    Logitech
    Samsung Electro-Mechanics

BTStackServer version 1.3.2.7 and 1.4.2.10  on both Windows XP and
Windows 98 which ships with MSI Bluetooth Dongles. We have also tested
this against an HP IPAQ 5450 running WinCE 3.0 with Bluetooth software
    version 1.4.1.03.
Pentest Limited have also written a proof of concept exploit for Windows
    XP.
Whilst the above platforms are the only platforms tested and confirmed
to be exploitable by Pentest Limited, discussions with the vendor lead
us to believe that are all versions prior to version BTW & BT-CE/PPC 3.0
    are affected by this vulnerability.
WIDCOMM has not confirmed whether BT-PPC/Phone Edition, BT-Smartphone,
    BTE-Mobile or BTE are vulnerable.

    versions
03-08-2004 - WIDCOMM respond. No date set for new release and no patch
will be made available for older versions.
    Fix
Until version 3 of the WIDCOMM software becomes available from WIDCOMM
or their customers/partners Pentest Limited recommend that end users
stop using the vulnerable WIDCOMM Bluetooth software or set their
Bluetooth device configuration to be non-discoverable or hidden. This
will not stop the device from being vulnerable but it may limit the
    exposure.

  • MSI Bluetooth Adapter drivers

    Hello there,
I've got the MSI Bluetooth USB dongle adapter. I had some trouble to get it working, I have a question regarding the latest 1.3.2.7 drivers.
After rebooting the WinXP and after logging in, usually the BTTray.exe locks up, about in 3 cases of 10. The WXP has all the latest patches installed. I tried the dongle at other computers, my friends have the same dongle, and they have trouble with WXP as well  :(
When will be available new drivers working without any trouble?
    igorage

I have the Bluetooth module and I can communicate with my laptop using it, but when I try to connect to the Microsoft mouse or keyboard it says that I should plug in the transreciever, so I think that there is some problem with the drivers, because the MSI bluetooth is under USB devices in the Device Manager and the Microsoft Bluetooth transreciever under BlueTooth Radios

  • Need Vista driver for Bluetooth dongle model: TechBlue1

    Hi,
I recently got given a Technika Bluetooth dongle, model: TechBlue1 and it isn't supported by Vista.
Is there any updates or drivers that will allow this?

{color:#800000}*The Technika TechBlue 1 dongle uses a TOSHIBA Bluetooth stack. It will only partially install under Vista and there is an incompatibility warning box. I have been unable to find the Bluetooth stack version number. Is there a patch or fix or Vista driver available, please Toshiba? This dongle is sold by TESCO, one of the biggest UK supermarkets and there must be a large number of these dongles in circulation.*

  • MSI A58M-E35 Motherboard, Theres NO Vista drivers!!

Just bought a MSI A58M-E35 motherboard and Theres NO Vista drivers!!
Win7 drivers dont work, gonna have to exchange for one of your competitors, that makes me very unhappy...
Did msi forget that vista existed?

    You are reading it wrong.
We have consumer products, i.e. the versions that consumers buy and which is supported under the Mainstream support.
Then there are Business and Developer products will and they will receive at least 10 years of online self-help support.
Your license will determine which category you fall in.
    Quote
Extended Support is not offered for Consumer and Multimedia products.
We have just been through the XP fiasco. Its still supported for the industry, but consumers get no more updates.
Mainstream support ends Jan2015. That's the one that consumers are entitled to.
Maybe so, but I can't see how...  Here's another link to the same chart:
    http://support.microsoft.com/lifecycle/default.aspx?LN=en-us&x=8&y=13
Note the heading for the chart:
Phases of the Support Lifecycle for Business, Developer, Consumer and Multimedia Software
To me, that says that the consumer versions of Win7 go to extended support in 2015, in which the only updates people will receive for it until EoL in 2020 are security updates.  Exactly the same thing was done with XP, IIRC.  The only updates WinXP received for the past several years were security updates and regular updates for the XP version of MSE.  Why should Microsoft treat Win7 any different? As you see in the chart, paid-for support is in a different category from security updates.  You can get the same paid-for support in Windows 7 in the extended period that you can buy right now for Win7 in the mainstream period.  The only service carried forward into the extended period that will continue to be free of charge are the security updates as hotfixes, patches, and feature updates for Win7 will be discontinued when Win7 support shifts into extended support next year.
