I would look there and start there first.
That should be the Wireless driver, and
That should be the Bluetooth portion of the driver I believe.
I checked these drivers, they don't want start after successful installation got error: This device cannot start. (Code 10).
In Windows event logs I got 2 errors:

  • MOVED: MSI X58A-GD65 Overclock Problem

This topic has been moved to Overclockers & Modding Corner.
    https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=141883.0

I bought the MSI X58A-GD65 because I am a complete moron who wanted a hardware Easy Switch.
It works really well, but I was pissed when I noticed that my 12GB's of RAM was no longer recorgnized. Only showed 8GB's..............
So I set the Easy Switch to deafualt ( 133 ) and decided to overclock the CPU and tweak the RAM.
I just read every forum where people had problems w/ various settings, and since I only want 3.2GHz w/ 12GB's of RAM @1.4v it was a walk in the park.
Clearing the CMOS after a day of torturing myelf and committing Human errors,I easily was able to simply undervolt the RAM from the 1.65v default, and raise the 133 default setting up by a factor of 5 and rebooting.
So this is my first OVerclocking experience and MSI seems like a worthy board..
I use this to perform hardware and virtual musical synths and instruments 6 nights a week.
Since I cam from a solid 32bit DAW that ran 100% for 3 yerars,I didn't upgrade, but actually did an entire new rebuild since I wasn't sure ofthe stability in x64.
But this DAW has worked for days on end now flawlessley.
I Declare This Dog Will Hunt.............

    Fredrik:
Thanks for backing me up while I was out of the forum.
Usually, when I clean my cpu, I use a Q-tip damped with Isopropyl alcohol and then remove the remaining grease on the processor die. For the heatsink, I use the same Q-tip or a piece of damped cotton with isopropyl alcohol also.
I like the idea of the nailpolish remover since it makes sense because it can remove even the toughest resin.
See you later, and I hope our new friend has sorted the problem.

Follow up: It turns out the cables for the keyboard and mouse came out. I put them back and it works fine now. The piece that fell out was not related to the problem. I think it was part of the back cover that came off.

Simple question, why don't you install Windows raid instead of AMD raid?
The result will be the same but you will be controller independent.
As you are doing mirror, software (Windows) raid can actually be faster.
Also, why aren't you doing RAID5 with all those disks?
It's faster and on top more secure.
    Thanks
I thought it is supported on HW so I can implement that. I will try to that in Windows.

you say recently, does this mean it was working fine before?
can you test this headset in another computer?
Yes it was working just fine before, this issue started happening a couple of weeks ago but I've had this setup for almost a year now.
I also don't readily have access to another computer to try it out on and testing it on another computer would be a bit of an issue because this only happens like once or twice a day after long hours of gaming.
Quote from: darkhawk on 31-May-15, 18:36:48
That's about the only relevant information I could find regarding this issue.
I would try the headset out on another computer. This would allow you to verify if the headset is the problem, or if the motherboard/USB ports are the problem.
I've checked out the link and my gamecoms were also configured for 5.1 surround sound, I reconfigured it to 7.1 surround sound so hopefully this is the solution. Also again I don't readily have access to another computer to test this out.
Hopefully this fixes it, thank you both for the replies and I will update you if the problem goes away or if it still occurs.

My temps are very good, actually, with a zalman 9700 led and arctic silver grease.  26 C idle and ~35 C at load with stock 2.4 ghz speed.
I'm pretty sure the mobo is the source of the problem.  It doesn't seem like to like setting my corsair pc8500 at its rated 1066mhz either.

Are you using the +/- keys on numpad  to change settings or the +/- next to the Backspace key  ?
Edit: If you can't go down or up then I would guess you're using the wrong keys.
thankyou!! That was the problem  now runnning 4ghz on stock volts

You might get a better responce when you post in the correct area. The Via guys could not give a care about an NVidia board you know. LOL
Besides we have an area of the forum for overclocking discussions. Not in the main tech areas.

You seem to have tried all possible options to cool the thing and I agree that the temp. is way above normal.
You are lucky the device did not break down at all. I can't imagine a laptop temp. going way up to boiling point.
I am thinking that the heat sink might not be placed properly.
If you do not know how to check that out, let an expert do.

  • MOVED: msi gtx 680 lightning problems

This topic has been moved to BETA & MOD BIOS Section.
    https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=161594.0

There was a purpose of putting a locked voltage, even now on lightning. I have the old bios on my lightning and works unlocked 300% and voltage too. But you risk a degradation in time if you run the card 24/7 in games with 1.2+ voltage just for some couple mhz more. If you are oc-ing the card just for gaming it's useless, 680 it's powerful by it's nature, and 100-200mhz more in gaming = 0 performance.
And not all lightnings are like "in the msi picture advertising, that you buy a lightning for extreme OC" mine can't pass 1250Mhz on Heaven even on 1.25V on LN2 bios. So lightning in my opinion is still a luck, not a 100% card, chip and pcb that guarantees you a success overclock, compared with another product, or reference card.

    Hello Joebunke,
    I borrowed an GE60 2PE too and had a clean-installed Windows 8.1.
Then I installed all Windows 8.1 drivers from MSI website (http://www.msi.com/support/nb/GE60-2PE-Apache-Pro.html#down-driver).
My application page works normally when I opened up and there're already some processes shown in the window.
Did you mean it's all empty?
Did you try selecting "Show All Applications" or "Reset Application Data"?
