No POST above 220 FSB out of BIOS, but soft OC ok to 250 ???

The X2 chips don't run @ there stated speed eg 4400+, 4800+. However, have mutiple software running (as nearly everyone does) and this is where this CPU will shine. Have 2 cores with in 1 chip connecting to the socket giving upto the preformance of:
X2 3800+ 2.0GHz 512KB
X2 4200+ 2.2GHz 512KB
X2 4400+ 2.2GHz 1024KB
X2 4600+ 2.4GHz 512KB
X2 4800+ 2.4GHz 1024KB
As you see having 1MB+1MB cache @ 2.4GHz = 4800+, changing each cache to 512KB @ 2.4 GHz = 4600+. So getting a 4400+ and OCing by 200MHz (only a small OC) gives you 4800+ speeds and only costing 35%-50% less depend on where you buy. From my supplier its a £232.00 saving.

Hey again. I was running a Winchester 3000+ on a daily basis for a year at 4xHT, 250FSB, 500MHz DDR speed @ 2.5,3,3,8 and 9x CPU multi, all hard-set in CMOS. So, it booted at these FSB speeds during all this time, running BIOS 1.3
I switched to EASYBIOS (the modded 1C3) and ran the same setup on the Winchester for a week with no problems, then dropped in a new 3500+ Venice.
Problem: I get no post at any FSB above 220 or so I have to reset CMOS to get it to POST again. I can boot at 220, and then SOFTWARE overclock to the limit of 250 (Corecenter) with no problem and not a single crash. But it refuses to POST at those same settings in BIOS, and I'm limited to 250 by Corecenter
At least is there software that can continue past 250? This makes absolutely no sense to me. My overclocks have always been more stable when set in BIOS, rather than in software. I can continue to use Corecenter, but it's not really what I want. The last time I tried I went for 230 at 10x CPU multi, 2.5,3,3,8 DDR, 4xHT and all I got was blackscreen, but I sit here at 2.5GHz writing this after using Corecenter:

Turns out that a little research over and the Amdmb forums cured my issue.
What was wrong: The AGP lock.
In order to get it engaged, you must set AGP frequency to 67 Mhz in the BIOS. By default it is set to 66 Mhz. At 66, the AGP lock is not active and you end up overclocking the AGP bus.
Got my board to boot into windows up to 240 at 3.0-4-4-10 timings (2.80V). However it isn't Memtest stable at that FSB. System would post at 250 FSB, but memory couldn't keep up, and Windows wouldn't load. Lowered FSB to 230, and got it Memtest stable at [email protected] Also Memtest stable at 225FSB at [email protected]
Will now work to see what the chip can do, and then try to see if I can't squeeze my memory to run at CAS 2.0.
For all those out there with a similar issue, check your AGP frequency. Another thing that I noted from the Amdmb forums, is that the thermal paste under the chipset heatsink is poorly applied on many boards. This could also affect your stability, if the northbridge ends up overheating.
So on that note, I take back my previous rant about the board.

Hi,
I need to find a way to get parked items moved into a cleared status with out actually posting the item for payment. I do not have a PO or goods receipt to post them to. There are some invoicese which we are not paying but we want to keep those items in the history of the vendor. I need to be able to run a parked report of open items and not have these pull into that report. I have a some parked invoices for various vendors that I need to get moved into the cleared status.
Requesting you to provide suggestion on this to proceed.

Thanks for the info SuzyQ. lorsa, the community is correct, pictures and videos can be saved differently on other phones. What phone did you remove the SIM card from? Where did you purchase your SIM card from? Your previous phones SD card and format may not be compatible with your Brightside device. I show you advise that you reformated your memory card but make sure the files are saved correctly. Listed below are the different type of files you can save, receive, and view for pics and videos with your device.
Files that are compatible with the Brightside device:

220 FSB????

I flashed my BIOS from the one that it came with (not sure which one it was), using MSI Live Update 3 ... Im unsure which one it installed... with the original BIOS I could hit 290 FSB with 133 Memory and 3 HTT and a slight bump in the core voltage.. now since the new BIOS it wont even POST with any FSB over 220 regardless of memory settings or core voltage settings.... I read somewhere about a 219 Bug but unsure if it applied to this board... any help is appreciated as I want this machine to it 2.610 again.....

Reinstalled the 1.1 BIOS (with winflash) and let it restart and boot to windows... I restarted it directly after it made it to windows and into the BIOS I went and took my recoreded settings changed everything back... VIOLA... 2610 MHZ !!!!!! Thanks for the help guys..

Ok,
Posted on wrong forum earlier I think, but having an issue posting. Getting 1 Long beep every 7-8 seconds. Started directly after I tried overclocking video and processor... IMMEDIATELY after.
STEPS I took in trying to resolve this issue..
1. Tried resetting cmos by pulling battery and changing pins. Did this in a bunch of different ways, and even had battery out all night.
2. Put a New stick of RAM in there. Still no change
3. Changed video card.. still no change.
4. Unplugged and replugged everything in computer making sure everything has a good connection. No change
5. Held down insert key while booting up. It doesn't beep, but nothing shows on the screen and after I let go of insert button it starts beeping again. (Not sure how long to hold down insert, but did it for atleast 5 min)
I think I've listed everything I've done. Some say it might be the power supply. Which if changing some settings would make the PSU bad or ruin anything, that might be it. Could it be the CPU got fried?
ANY feedback would be wonderful! Been on this issue for 48 hrs now.

Hi ! Sorry for my bad english, i'm not a good at writing in english.
My config is in my signature. The problem is that there is no POST over 240 FSB... I've lowered the HT from 5x to 4x and 3x bot nothing happened....
i put the memory from auto to manual, and doesn't matter that if i change the timing from 2.5-3-3-8 2T to 3-4-4-8 2T....
The problem is the same when i set back the ram 200 to 166.... I tried clockgen, and it worked well until 240, but from 241 my win freezes and cannot boot until i press the button in the motherboard
It's working now on 11*235 @ 1.4V + 6.6% overlock.... i'll change at weekeng my memories to kingmax hc 2x512mb 500mhz, however i dont mind this will change the fsb problem...
The bios is 3.52... i read somewhere that the bios can be 1 b - c or d and the d is the best, but i couldn't figure out that which one is mine.... or this is just a fact, causes nothing?
Somebody please help, or i have to change the MB to another one, my 3700+ is a pretested one @ 2900 so this is not good for me to run it at just 2600mhz...

i'm using a box cooler, which was given to a x2 amd64 cpu... heatpipe version, holds cold the cpu, really good one.
maybe there is a misunderstanding between everest and my bios , becouse i use 1.4V + 6.6% overlock which is near 1.5V in BIOS, but everest shows only 1.2V cpu voltage.
the psu is strong, it shows ~12.5-12.6V on the + 12V while prime95 blend torture test is running, my videocards eats very few energy

Have you tried to give your iPad a reset? Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if it helps.

Please click on the image tab at the top and choose mode from 16bits/channel to 8bits/channel.
Then check if the filter gallery is still grayed out.

First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

MSI Z97-G45 Gaming can not POST or enter BIOS but has display

Hi
First post here and sadly a technical one. I just bought the following hardware:
- MSI Z97-G45 GAMING MoBo (no idea on BIOS since I cannot enter it at all)
- Intel Core i5 4690K s1150
- 16GB (2x8GB) Patriot Viper 3 Black Mamba 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Dual/Quad Channel Kit [PV316G160C9K]
- Corsair CX750M PSU
and installed the hardware with the following old hardware that I am carrying over:
- 2 X Hitachi 1TB Sata HDD
- 2 X GTX 275 SLI
To begin with, my existing drives were setup as RAID 0 and has a installed Windows 7 64-bit on there already. I unregistered the Product key before taking it all apart with the idea of registering it again once the new hardware was all together.
So basically, when I received all the new parts yesterday and put them all in. Upon powering on, I see the MSI Dragon logo fullscreen with the option to press DEL or F11. I let it continue without pressing any key to see how it goes. After the dergaon logo, all I get is "Missing Operating System" at the top which did not really worry me and I assumed it would be realted to the Raid not setup (right?)
So I rebooted the PC and decided to press DEL to enter BIOS. However, every time I want to enter the BIOS the screen turns black! The display is still functional though from what I can tell (the display does not lose signal).
Following that, I reset the CMOS from behind by pressing the button with a pen tip. Starting the PC again now gives me a display of all my hardware that it detected (correct CPU, Correct amount of ram, correct HDD etc...). It also gives me two options... F1 to Enter setup or F2 to Continue. Pressing F1 displays the text "Entering Setup..." at the bottom but again it fails to enter the BIOS (it freezes on the above screen - does not turn black this time) and choosing F2 to Continue freezes as well.
I have tried to boot up with the following changes:
- No GPU and use on board VGA only
- One stick of ram in multiple slots
- No HDDs connected at all
- I've checked the CPU to make sure no bent pins
- Reconnected the PSU cables into the motherboard
I should also mention that when I test it on the bare minimum (CPU, PSU, 1 stick of ram) I get A9 in the lower corner before the dragon logo appears.
Right now I am out of ideas and any suggestions would be helpful or at least some insight in what problems I described may indicate. Thanks!

Yeah I didn't really expect to have too much luck with the original windows 7 installation but I had no choice since my last computer failed to power on (faulty PSU I suspected).
However, as you also mentioned, I do not think it would prevent me from reaching the BIOS setup.
Hopefully the above serial can make some sense for you but I do recall some sort of date after a CMOS reset at the top... I think it was 21 April or May 2014 or so. This was next to the following: E7821IMS v2.0.
Once I get home, I will try a few things like you suggested but trying to get as much info as I can before I get home so I have a few things to try.

EDIT - as a side note, I also contacted the Online Retailer I got it from and the first response from them was that the DEBUG "A9" code meant it was the RAM not fully inserted. That is another thing I have to be 100% sure of but I am fairly sure it was fully clicked in on both sides... but you never know!

One day they were just gone and couldn't sync back on. I used to think it was a syncing problem, but it is storage. I have done a hard restart. I have deleted some junk from "memory". I have tried to "clean up" my iPad, but I am missing a ton of space. Is there a trash can that I need to empty? Are my movies still stored but inaccessible? I have read forum posts about an "other" category in stoarge which I don't see on my iPad. Not sure what else to try.

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
An "other" larger than aboutn 1 1/2 GB usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files. Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.
