You don't have sound effects either, latest driver does not have itm lost mine no thanks to LiveUpdate, that is why I got rid of it quickly (should have known better) and had to look for an older version. Currently my version is 6.0.1.6873 has both.
You may have it with the drivers of the MB CD.

Flash Player no longer using the 'speaker fill' option in Windows.

The latest update of Flash Player breaks the 'speaker fill/sound enchancement' feature of Windows. i.e whenever I play some online videos only 2 of 6 speakers will output sound. Previously all 6 (1 Subwoofer + 5 speakers) used to play audio. I can confirm the issue with both Chrome & Firefox (I was using an older build of Flash Player 11.x in Firefox so the Audio was fine but when I upgraded to 11.3.x the compatibility was broken). So how am I supposed to fix this issue?
It's not a software/driver error btw as everything else works fine, audio from Media Player or any other sound application will play on all speakers.
In short worlds: This newer version of Flash player just 'bypasses' the 'System Effects/Speaker Fill/Sound Enchancements' of Windows. It just plays the audio directly but on only 2 Speakers since my System requires these 'System Effects/Speaker Fill/Sound Enchancements' to ouput sound on all speakers. So why did adobe change this?

I am also having this exact same problem and it is infuriating. And I am not seeing a quick download links to the previous version unless it was the last major version change and I don't want to go back that far. I am using a Creative Titanium X-fi PCI-e sound card with a Sandybridge chipset (2700k). My sound works fine in anything that isn't flash and I have also tested in multiple browsers.

MSI Mpower Z77 w/MSI NGTX 680 Lightning

Got started on my first ever PC and I'm stuck, so please bear with me. The parts that I have are the MSI Mpower Z77 and the MSI NGTX 680 Lightning (video card). There are two 8-pin connectors on the video card which needs to be plugged in. However, reading the user guide for Mpower Z77, it mentioned an ATX 6-pin power connector on its main board. It's designated as JPWR3 (p. 1-15) and it's suppose to provide power to the graphics card. My question is, do I need to plug in the JPWR3 on the main board if I'm already connecting two 8-pin power source into the video card?
I'm pretty confused about this because I've heard varying accounts. Speaking to people, they've said that the JPWR3 not only powers the graphics card but also all the PCIe expansion slots. Don't know how true this is since there's no mention in the user guide. On the other hand, I've had some people tell me not to bother with it if I'm only using one video card; they've stated while it doesn't hurt to have JPWR3 plugged in, it won't do anything unless I'm overclocking or running SLI/Crossfire, in which case I'll be drawing lots of power.
So what to do? I am tempted by SLI...but that's a bridge I won't cross until next year. So in the meantime, should I plug in JPWR3? Any pros and cons either way? It'd be great to have some feedback or consensus. Thanks.
Oh, and if plugging JPWR3, do I use the PCIe power cable from the PSU??? It's the only 6-pin I have left.

its better to connect all the power connectors anyway to avoid problems later on in time if he upgrades! also if the PSU you have isn't capable of supplying that big an ammount of power to the board the optional header will fill in the missing shortage and your less ikely to have noposts as the graphics cards power from the slot is choked so its more just safety!
most experianced builders will say even if its not needed connect it anyway to avid problems with your build....
let me put it like this its better to have it connected and its doing nothing then to try and boot a machine and it needing it but its not connected and as a result the machine doesn't post!
the PCI power connector on the board will be active only if needed and connecting it won't cause any problems but work as a boost if needed!

While reading PDF document using Speak Screen option, iBooks doesn't turn pages automatically

I have been using the speak screen option in iOS 8 to read books and pdf documents in iBooks app. iBooks app turned pages automatically and kept on reading the screen till i updated my phone to iOS8.3. Now, the app stops reading the screen once the page is completed. I have to stop my vehicle, unlock phone, open iBooks app, swipe down with two fingers. It's irritating.
Earlier, I have read dozens of books and pdf documents using this function while doing exercise or routine tasks. now it's not possible unless someone helps.

Unfortunately, I am having precisely the same issue since updating to iOS 8.3 with my iPhone 5s.
I just filled out a bug report here > https://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html, which I've often read on these forums is the best way to get some resolution. I don't know if you read the list of "fixes" for 8.3 or not (here: iOS 8.3), but, it includes the following:
"Fixes an issue in Speak Screen where speech will not start again after pausing"
So...apparently, in fixing THAT problem, they broke something else. At least for some of us...

OSX Speaker fill from 2.1 to 5.1 ?

Hi everybody!
I'm a Windows user who aquired a Macbook Air 2012 about a year ago, and I have Genius 5.1 speakers.
The problem is that when i play stereo songs(2.0 or 2.1 channels) i only get the left and right speakers working, now I know that this is how it supposed to work since they are 2.1 and not 5.1, but Windows has the option: Speaker Fill, which as named will do stuff to take advantage of those extra speakers.
now the question is:
Is there any similar option to do so in OSX?
or
Is there a special player (or plugin) that does this? I did a lot of searching and i installed too many complicated tools that I have failed to deal with.

for the folks who are having the same problem i found something pretty called VOX player for mac, it has the option to fill the speakers if the song isn't 5.1

The Speaker phone option on my iPhone 4s is no longer working! Help!!

The Speaker phone option on my iPhone 4s is no longer working. Whenever I press the speakerphone button I can no longer hear anything and can not get back to the call. I then must end the call in order to hear anything again. Its not the actual fault of the speaker either because I can still play music and hear it ring. It has always worked before and my phone is up to date. It seems to be the only thing that just randomly stopped working, and I use the speakphone option a lot. Help me please!!

Edit-Fill option Freezes PS CS-5

I'm having a weird problem that just started in PS CS5 (64bit) on my Windows 7 machine. When I'm editing an image and select the "Edit" and then the "Fill" option, my cursor turns into an eyedropper and the program freezes up! The eyedropper actually functions properly, but I can't get any other response from the program. I have to force-quit it every time. I've tried all different combos of loading different images from different sources, re-booted the machine, etc., but this is an absolutely persistent and consistent problem! Has anyone else ever experienced this?

It might help if you were a bit more specific, e.g., ''I chose Help - Updates, and this happened, then that happened, then an error message that stated 'xxxxxx' was displayed''.
It could also help others help you if you'd describe your system - what kind of hardware, what operating system, etc. One good way to do that is to choose Help - System Info in Photoshop, then copy and paste the info into a post here.

Acrobat 8:color picker for the "fill" option is no longer available.

I have Acrobat 8 and am creating a fillable form with the check box tool and text field tool. 8 of the 9 pages worked well but on the 9th page the color picker for the "fill" option is no longer available. It is still available for "Text". I cannot find the cause for this and would like to know how to reactivate the color picker. Please advise. Thanks!

Fade Fill option doesn't show in Photoshop CS6

Why do I not get the option to "fade fill" when I use the ALT/Backspace keyboard shortcut to fill a layer. If I use the menu option Edit/Fill.. to perform the fill I am given the option to "fade fill"

Tried resetting preferences, still doesnt work. Here is exactly what I am doing
Make Selection in layer
press CNTL/J to make a new layer with that selection ( new layer is now selected)
press ALT/BACKSPACE to fill new layer
go to EDIT menu - Fill is grayed out
If instead of Alt/Backspace keyboard shortcut I use the Edit/Fill menu option - Fill is not grayed out -
almost seems like the fill dialog needs to pop up (which is does not when using Alt/Backspace) for the "fade fill" option to appear not grayed out
Maybe its unique to my installation if you are not seeing the same behavior - not sure?

Photoshop CS 6 photomerge panorama NO AUTOMATIC FILLING OPTION?

I use to work with PSElements 11 but now consider changing to CS6 since PSE11 photomerge does only use maximum of 3GB memory, means I can not merge more than maximum 3 pictures at the time.
I tried CS6 which , however, does it properly.
But it does not seem to have the AUTOMATIC FILLING OPTION PS11 constist of.
Is this true or do I have to use certain settings?

Photoshop cs6 doesn't have the automatic fill when doing panos as pse 11 does, but really that's a good thing, since you have much more control in photoshop of
the process.
Try something like this:
1. After the photomerge completes press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E (Shift+Cmd+Option+E mac) to merge the pano into a new layer at the top of the layer stack.
2. Ctrl (Cmd) click on that layers thumbnail in the layers panel to load a selection of the transparency
3. Press Ctrl+I (Cmd+I) to inverse the selection (Select>Inverse)
4. Go to Selecte>Modify>Expand and enter a value between 5 and 10 px
(You may need to expand more or less depending on the size of the pano)
5. Go to Edit>Fill and choose Content Aware
6. Then go to Select>Deselect or press Ctrl+D (Cmd+D)
That's basically what the edge fill in pse 11 does for panoramas.

Load Selected Columns w/o FILLER option using SQL loader

From the previous forums i came to know about the "FILLER" option to skip any columns from loading into table.
In my case,i have columns say: col1,col2,col3,col4.....coln
Here i want to load only col3 and col4 and skip rest of the columns.I dont want to use FILLER option for each "n" number of columns to be skipped.Instead is there any options to load only the required 2 columns.

Just specify the columns until col4 and you can avoid the rest of the columns.

Ingame lagg with mpower z77

Hello,i have build my own pc.with folliowing components.mpower z77 motherboard,gtx 660 ti msi,i5 3570k processor,corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 ram.950wat power suply.all drivers installed
and all works fine.ingame 91 fps connection full bars,cpu max 10% and my mouse stops shooting for a while,when pressed down,and starts after a fraction of a second.my keybord is microsoft x6 sidewinder and mouse is logitech g700 mouse.my mouse works fine on my old pc.so dont know where its going wrong.
annyone who can give some ideas???its my first build and also first with msi parts

Mpower Z77 USB charging

I recently bought a Mpower Z77 motherboard.
When the PC is shutdown I would like to charge my Razer Mamba via USB, but the charging doesn't work then.
Is there any possible solution to get USB charging work when the PC is shutdown?

In the Trial version of Illustrator try this:
In the top right of your screen, choose 'Essentials' from the workspace menu.
Then from the same menu, choose Reset Essentials.
Next, click the Selection tool in the Tools panel (strip on the left side of your screen, it is the black pointer at the top).
Click on the object you want to change the stroke and fill colour for. Does it display with little handles around it (this is called bounding box)? E.g. can you tell it is selected?
You should see the Stroke and Fill options in the Control panel (top horizontal strip above your document), if the object you've selected is a path. But if for instance you selected as a placed photo, you won't see the Stroke and Fill options.
If possible take a screenshot of what you are trying to do, and we can be of more help hopefully.

Numeric slide: fill options

In LabVIEW a Numeric Slide has the property "Fill Options" that can be set to
Fill to Minimum
Fill to Maximum
I haven't been able to find this kind of property for a CVI slide, which always behaves in "Fill to Minimum" mode.
I was able to obtain a behaviour similar to "Fill to Maximum" changing the colors of frame and fill, but this could only be a partial solution...
Is there a way to change the fill mode?

The correct attribute to set in SetCtrlAttribute is ATTR_FILL_OPTION, with possible values VAL_NO_FILL, VAL_TOP_FILL, VAL_BOTTOM_FILL, VAL_RIGHT_FILL, VAL_LEFT_FILL.
