MOVED OUT OF THE USA. I have to cancel my Wireless service

My wife is a Swiss Citizen, she is pregnant and we decided to move out of the USA and establish in Switzerland. I have to cancel my Verizon account, since its useless here. I have this account for about 14 months. Please advise. Many thanks and god bless.
Mikkel

You will have to contact Verizon. If you purchased the phone when signing a 2yr contract, there will be an ETF. If it is a smartphone, the ETF would have started at $350 and dropped by $10 for each month of the contract you have completed. If it is a basic phone, the ETF would be half of the ETF for a smartphone.

It is becoming a problem with getting some USA aps and content
    Thank you

iTunes match is a subscription that you have in when you were still in the UK. According to the terms & conditions you'll need to wait for the susbcription to end before you can change your country to iTunes Store USA.

Absolutely.  Search this forum or look in the "More Like This" box to your right.

  • If I don't live in the USA I have to buy the Ipad from Verizon or AT

If I don't live in the USA, I have to buy the IPad 2 from Verizon or AT&T so I can use the 3G anywhere

The Verizon iPad will only work in the US, you will need to go with the AT&T version.

  • Iphone out of the USA..!!

Is it Possible to use another SIM card with the Iphone out of the USA ..as example Vodafone SIM card in Egypt ??

It is technically possible. There are lots of people using iPhones outside the U.S.A.
Doing so however, will void your warranty and discussing the methods involved is against the rules of these forums.
These forums are only here to help people using Apple products the way Apple wants them to be used.

Settings --> General --> Accessibility --> Invert Colours
is the setting you might have changed.

  • I have moved to rural Texas USA and have Exede satellite internet (only source available). A time machine is connected to the Exede satellite box. Besides the time machine I have one Airport Express. Both devices show function. Daily lose internet service

I have moved to rural Texas USA. Only ISP is Exede, a satellite service. I connect with a time machine and an Airport Express. Daily service gets dropped and requires disconnecting and reconnecting the time machine to the satellite box. The dealer is working the problem without success. He is not very familiar with Apple products. Any solutions?

You are going to need to do a few things. And there might not be a simple resolution at all.
I would ring the ISP again and ask if they support any routers.. because in the end, replacing the router might cost you $100 but save a lot of pain. You can keep the extreme for wireless connections to those devices that work ok with it.
I would also note, the issue might not be extreme but Mountain Lion.
Do a search .. many people have experienced issues with the wifi refusing to join when it wakes. I have experienced it myself. There was no problem with the wireless.. it was some sleep issue in the laptop.
But one thing I would do, on the last screen shot you gave me..
Where the ip range is 10.0
    Please change that to 192.168
Because of the private addressing used by the ISP.. you will run into issues with routing.
When you change the value.. you will need to then reboot everything.. and everything will change to 192.168.1.x addressing. This is important.
Secondly, change wireless names to all meet the lowest common denominator.. ie SMB protocol.
So names that are short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
I recommend you change all names to that spec.
C9 here gives some more info for why this is important, although the specific issue is different.

Thirdly I want you to install 5.6 utility unless you are running Snow Leopard or Lion still this is a bit tricky. But only 5.6 can access the Extreme's log. Also you can see the actual wireless connection graphs.
All of this was chucked away with v6.
How to load 5.6 into ML.
    1. Download 5.6 for Lion.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482
Click to open the dmg but do not attempt to install the pkg.. it won't work anyway.
    2. Download and install unpkg.
    http://www.timdoug.com/unpkg/
Run unpkg on the desktop.. it is very simple.. drag the AirPortUtility56.pkg file over to unpkg.. and it will create a new directory of the same name on the desktop.. drill down.. applications utilities .. there lo and behold is Airport utility 5.6 .. drag it to your main utilities directory or just run it from current location.
You cannot uninstall 6.1 (now 6.2 if you updated) so don't try.. and you cannot or should not run them both at the same time.. so just ignore the toyland version.. the plastic hammer.. and start using 5.6.. a real tool.

  • Moved out of the US, reluctant to start a new account

I've been an Adobe customer since there was an Adobe. I worked in a corporate art department in the States and we were all over Adobe products and services from the beginning.
I've since left that job and moved to the UK as a freelance. I just went to upgrade my Photoshop before the deadline...and the sign in won't let me change my country. I could start a new account, but I feel bad walking away from my old account and 20+ years of customer relationship.
Am I just being silly? I mean, I don't suppose they hand out gold stars, but I don't really want a whole new account and I'd at least like to use my same old email address (which hasn't changed). Is this something somebody behind the scenes can fix? If not, are there any complications that will arise from my upgraded products being registered to a different account than the original? Thanks for any help...

Many online storefronts will detect a customer's location by IP address, and will then place limits on the payment options (e.g. if you say you're in the USA you can't pay with a UK bank account). Software is subject to UK VAT, so buying it remotely from the US site and not subsequently paying the duty on 'import' is a crime.
Having said that, if someone is temporarily abroad but retains citizenship of their home nation (along with tax and bank accounts) they can declare the purchase domestically and buy using their US bank or credit card details, just as if they flew back home and walked into a store. A US customer who purchases software in the USA is perfectly entitled to use it anywhere in the world they happen to travel, but they can't directly-declare the purchase as an expense against their UK tax return as it was never 'imported'.

  • If i have to change my Ipod in the USA i have to wait some days or is at the time?

Im from Argentina and in an Apple Store here, they told me that i should change my Ipod 5 because of a problem with the battery. But here we have some problems with the exportation so they said that its better if i have any friend who travel to the USA, and my cousin will go to Washington DC but just for a few days, so i wanna know if he will has to wait some days or if he will get it at the moment. PLEASE I NEED AN ANSWER!! Thanks!!

If you take it to an Apple store in the US, they will test the battery.  If it fails and the iPod is under warranty they will replace it on the spot with a refurbished identical model with a new battery.  If it is out-of-warranty, they will charge you $79 plus tax.  I recommend that your friend set up an appointment at the store to do this, either on-line or by phone.  He will probably need your Apple ID and Apple password (not your iPod password) to do this.

  • IPhone Software update out of the USA

I am currently out of the US and want to know if it is ok to update my iPhone to 1.1.1
I heard that the phone needs to be activated afterwards. Will this work if I do not have an AT&T cell phone signal? I also keep the phone in airplane mode so as not to run up data charges.
I can wait till I get back but if it makes no difference I would rather do it now while I have the time. I have a high speed internet access and the docking station with me.
    Thanks.

It's activating through iTunes and not AT&T so I would expect that you should not have a problem as long as you have web access to be able to get the update.

  • How can I unlock my iphone to use out of the country.I have a iphone 5

Im traveling out of the country, and I need to unlock my iphone 5 to use there. How can I do that?

You don't need to unlock your iPhone if you want to use it abroad. There's roaming
If, however you want to insert a SIM card in another country, you should contact your provider. Every provider has it's specific rules for unlocking so I can't give you a general answer

  • I am moving to the USA I have a 3 pin plug on my 85 w charger

    Hi,
I'm moving to the US from Pakistan (our power is 220 volts like Europe). My charger has a 3 pin plug . Will the 3 pin work in America or do I need to get a converter plug? I also have a small two-pin plug lying around but I can't remember if this came with my new macbook pro or my previous macbook. It's just a plug- doesn't have a wire or anything - it does fit directly onto the magsafe power adapter but I don't want to use it if there might be a voltage issue when I get to the US. Is there any way I can try it out there safely?
my MagSafe specs:  frequency 50-60 Hz, single phase
    line voltage 100-240
    output voltage
    16.5 V DC, 3.65 A

The power adapter places one-half of the line voltage on the computer chassis/case.  In Pakistan, and much of the world, the AC input line voltage is over 200VAC, and the voltage sensation can be annoying.  In the US, the AC input line voltage is 120VAC, and only 60VAC is placed on the case.  Very few people can sense that voltage level and, even without a grounded 3-prong AC plug, you probably won't feel anything.

  • IPhone5 earbuds sound cuts out then wires are moved expecially near the mic, also have to jiggle wires to get left earbud sound on. . .

love the lighting fast speed & LTE!!!

My iPhone 5 earbuds is facing the same kind of issue.
It is kind of making a buzzing noise. Specially when I use the 3G Internet. It also seam that the earbuds is sometime making then simple stop. Some time it is working other time is not. I think we are kind of facing two problems. 1) The earbuds connection and 2) The wire or plug is grasping some interferences or signal that it should not get.
