Moved Wikis, they sill appear in welcome/page What's Hot and Recent Changes

I followed these excellent instructions for moving some wikis between groups. In the OLD group, however, the wiki pages' old URLs are listed in the What's Hot and Recent Changes sections.
How can I remove these old dead URLs from these lists?

Hi there,
You can log in as the owner of the group and "see" an admin section at the bottom of the sidebar for settings. On this settings page you can customize the upper right sidebar section to respond to a particular tag and you can title this section.
If you want further customization than the settings admin allow, I think you will have to delve into the javascript that makes this page dynamic to the user. In which case only work in Library/Applications Support/Apple/WikiServer and work on copies of the templates. Otherwise the _teamsserver user may not be able to function and your wikis will be offline.
One other thought that I have been experimenting with is to start a TOC(Table of Contents) page and enter pages by their links. The links menu selection in the editor will show any of the group site web pages by title to select from making this process a little more intuitive. For some reason I find my users who are afraid of the web, very reluctant to use tags or even try the search feature which is very good.
If you come up with a workaround your users commit to please pass along for the rest of us to try.

Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device. Once this is done test the results. If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.

The date information is taken from the camera which writes it to the file. This needs to be set to the correct date and time in the camera itself.
The order the images are shown in the Library mode is set by clicking on the sort button in the tool bar, which if not showing can be activated from view, tool bar. There are different sort orders that can be applied including sorting by file name. You can also sort by dragging the images to the order you wish them to appear in by selecting user order.

I had a Javascript 'alert' box appear on a page I am developing, and clicked on the tickbox to hide further dialogue boxes from that page. Now I want to see the alert boxes again, but I can't find a way to make them appear. Please can anyone advise?

I just opened iWeb for the first time in several months and the fonts have changed and are garbled in the headers. Is this a result of switching to Lion, and does this mean I have to go through all 70 pages on my site and manually change them back?

The text on my pages are messed up. The letters in my headers are on top of each other and the letters in the body of my pages have no separation between them. Is this a result of switching to Lion? (I haven't opened iWeb in several months, since before I installed Lion.) Any ideas of how to fix this, or do I need to go text block by text block and page by page to put it back right? Thanks.

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For opening your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.

You have posted a screenshot with the iPhoto First Aid window.
If the icon you say shows in the Finder toolbar, you do not have to worry about it. Does the icon appear inside or outside the search bar? If it appears outside, you can remove it by holding down the Command key and dragging it out of the toolbar. If it appears inside, do not worry

This looks like a known issue. Have you tried installing the triedit.dll and dhtmled.ocx files again?

Multiple columns in the Welcome page

How can I create multiple columns in the Welcome page like Stanford's and Duke's?

Stanford and Duke are super special sites that have access to experimental iTunes U layouts. They take all the risks so we don't have to.
It's been covered before in this forum, but the good news is that we might, one day, have access to the same layout.

IWeb welcome page design question

I am working on a web page for my company the company is divided into two sections. My question is this........ is there a way to creat just a welcome page with a link to one side of the company and then a second link to the other. THEN when you click on weither of those links you go to that part of the company and you do not see the other????
Basicly I want to host two web sites on one server but they share the same welcome page.

Most hosting services will allow you a fairly large number of sub-domains for each standard domain.
For example one of my accounts allows me to have 8 standard and 300 sub- domains.
You would create a Company website as the standard domain and then a sub-domain for each separate part of the company. The sub-domains are linked to the standard domains but are in separate folders on the server.
You can give people the URL for a sub-domain so that they can go straight there without having to visit the standard domain first.
The only time I had to do this I found it easier to build the standard domain and the subs as separate websites in iWeb so that I could load them one at a time and do updates without having to deal with the whole website.
This also makes the initial upload easier as well.
The first time I tried this I screwed it all up in my usual fashion and had to get the hosting service tech support to bail me out! It was a good learning experience.

Best Practice for link to WebdynPro page in welcome page

I am new in SAP Portal. I need some guidance from you guys. I have a requirement to create welcome page which is JSP and has a link to a WebdynPro page. I have to put the url in JSP file. So i do not know what kind of URL i should put in the JSP.
The problem is if i put the url which i can see in the address bar like 'http://DevServer/WebDynPro/ApplcationA', when i transport it to another server ,for example Production,. The real url might be change to 'http://ProdServer/WebDynPro/ApplcationA'. It may cause the link in JSP can not be worked.
I would like to ask you the best practice for this case. What url? What configuration?

1. Get the current host name and make complete URL with using host name for the webdynpro iview.

This is my first problem
I m currently develop a web server, using tomcat, as a web container.
i have use strut by refer to Jakarta Struts for Dummies.
I have done a user registration, login verify from database MySQL.
My project is about telerobot, which will allow only 1 user to access the robot-control page.
My webpage now allow all the registered user to access to robot-control page. I wanted the page will stop all the user at welcome page, and display the client queuing, and will only allow the client access to control page when his/her turn. Accessing period is limited to 15 minutes, let say.

==>welcome page(display n queue and go to next page only when his/her turn)
==>robot-control page
please help ..please guide me

2. My another problem is about the image. The webpage (jsp) may display the image for several time(properly), and then it may unable to retrieve the image.

use a threaded application that is independent from your web app that will update your database every 15 minutes.. once a user has logged, the login time will be save on your db, thus it will be the reference time for your threaded application.. also put a tag on your db if the user has logged, the session has expired and if the user is his/her turn.. that is some idea that i can give you..

Is there a way to remove the "Review Feedback" link from the KC welcome page

Hello,
I would like to clean up the welcome page by removing a few links. Some of the links I wanted to remove were use search and ask an expert. I managed to remove this by going to the server manager page within the KC.
I would also like to remove the following link "Review Feedback" but I don't see this option in the server manager page within the KC. Is the another way that I can remove this from the welcome page?
Any advice and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You only see the Review Feedback option if you have checked any title under "Titles Available for Feedback". If there is no title selected here, you will not see the Review Feedback option. But I adivce to use it since its a new feature introduced with UPK 11.1.

Creating a "welcome page" iView like "Tab Control"

Hi,
Does anyone know the steps i would need to go through to create a similar iview to the
"content provided by sap" iview, "Tab Control" which can be found in :
content provided by sap->admin interfaces->admin iview templates->tab control.
Basically, i want a welcome page with a graphic and also twisty's like in this page.
If someone could provide me with a step by step guide to do this it would be much

Hi Samir,
We use Welcome pages a lot in our portal to provide an overview of different area's of portal content.
All our welcome pages are URL iViews. The HTML content for these pages sits on our Intranet server. We then create a URL iview that points to the appropriate HTML content.
In this way, your Welcome page can have any layout or content you want and is only limited by your HTML skills!

After updating to '08 my welcome and archive pages vanished. I've been able to find the welcome page on a backup and have successfully restored it but can not find the archive page. Is there an easy way to just rebuild it?
