Movement allowed indicator

Dear All,
I am facing this problem while planning material components for my project.
When I assign some stock material  ( item cat. L) to a network activity, the system does not reflect the same in MB25. But in MB25, if I check the indicator " Goods movement not allowed", it reflects the reservation.
When i go to material component in project structure, I can see that under "proc. parameter" tab, under section "general indicators" the radio button for Movement allowed is not active.
Whereas for another project , this same indicator is active and hence i can see the reservation in MB25.
Can u pls guide me, for what background setting, this "Movement allowed " indicators become active or inactive.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Another factor is the requirement date:
The reservation management program sets the 'Movement allowed' indicator for requirements dates planning within certain preset time horizon. For requirements which lie beyond this preset time horizon movement is not allowed (for instance, reservations with requirement dates in the far future). The time horizon is set in customizing.
Further, I think  'planned Independent requirements'  are normally created with 'movement not allowed' indicator.
You can check what applies to your situation.

  • Movement allowed indicator not on automatically

    Hi folks!!
We are generating reservation with reference to production order through MRP.
In customising, we have set the no of days 10 for the movment allowed indicator to be on in reservation automatically.
But strangely for some material we are un able to make issuance due to movement allowed indicator is not check in reservation. Although the current date is 14.10.09 and requirement date is 20.10.09 so it is falling under the 10 days limitation set in customising.
Please let me know is there any other setting available to solve this problem.
    Best regards

    Dear Pervez,
Once when the production order's are released this indicator for the movement allowed will be automatically set by the
system for the reservation number that is linked to the production order.
Can you please let me know how did you achieve this setting the movement indicator automatically?Which customize setting
    helps for this issue?
    check and revert back.

  • T Code: MB22, Disable/Enable Movemnt allowed indicator on a condition.

I need to disable/enable the movement Allowed indicator depending on a specific condition in T Code MB22.
I tried to put a break point in MB_RESERVATION_BADI implementation. But it is triggered only after I save the changes made in the Reservation.
I want a BADI/ User exit that is triggered when I enter the MB22 screen before the changes are being made.
    Any Help?

    Hi ,
In the subroutine DYNPRO_MODIFIZIEREN (include FM07MED0_DYNPRO_MODIFIZIEREN) you can implement the enhancement point DYNPRO_MODIFIZIEREN_03 and make the screen input 0 or 1 for the field 'RESB-XWAOK' based on the conditions when the tcode is MB22.

  • No mov. allowed in reservation

    Dear SAP gurus,
We have a scenario of Sloc MRP in my compnay. For instance, Plant 1000 have 2 sloc: 0001 and 0002. Plant 0002 will have a re-order point of 10, in which in case our stock level in 1000-0002 is below 10, when we run the MRP, transfer reservation to 1000-0002 will be created.
However we this transfer reservation would need to have some kind of approver. We intend to simulate this approval, by making the mov.allowed unticked by default at the time of reservation creation by MRP, and then will give access to the approver to mass-change this to ticked when he is alright with the transfer.
We have set in OMBN that the default value for reservatin in plant 1000 should be unticked and the days before the mov.type ticked automtaically is 999. However it seems that whenever we run MRP and the reservation is created, the indicator is always ticked.
Is there any other way to make sure that the indicator is unticked as default??
    Best regards,
    John

    Hello sap_2605,
    As I understand:
    OMBN
    1. 'Mvt' field is empty ('No') for your plant.
    2. 'Days m' field is set to 0 (day).
In this case the thickbox should be empty and only during mass change you could set it to 'allowed' as per your requirement.

  • How to make Mvt allowed indicator editable in CJ20N transection ?

    Dear Experts,
How to make Mvt allowed indicator editable in CJ20N transaction ,I want to control material issue by reservations, waiting for your suggestions.
    Thanks

What is the object status? if the status is Started, you might have problems becouse that status does not permit cost assignments.
As the previous reply, at the moment of the release, you will have this field editable.

  • Movement allowed in Reservation not tick after cancellation

    Hi there,
We have a material reservation automatically created in our service module. We posted a goods issue in these materials (2 materials) 261 based in reservation and it was successful.
    ##result
    Material document line item 1
    Material document line item 2
However, one of the items needs to be return to stock as it was not needed anymore, hence we do the cancellation of the earlier material document as per normal cancellation.
But I realized, after the cancellation, the result was the first material was successfully cancelled but the 2nd line was not. It created another manual 262 which was not referred to the reservation. So the earlier 261 for reservation line item 2 was not cancelled at all.
When I further checked, the movement allowed box for the reservation line item 2 was not there and completely gone, which was a bit weird because earlier during goods issue we were allowed to post into it.
Now I am trying to activate again the movement allowed box but I cannot edit the reservation itself via MB22 because the reservation was not created manually, it was created auto from service order.
Anyway I can proceed in cancelling the 2nd line based from reservation? Any program or way to activate the movement allowed box in the reservation?
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,

Do you two material document or both line items was in same material document?
Why you want to cancel both line items as you want only one line item to be cancelled?
Which Transaction You used for cancellation?
If your are using MBST transaction it tick the line item tick mark automatically as per std.
Check if you might have Un-tick while posting by mistake.
Reservation created through any other trns like service  order, PM or PS cannot be changed through MB22.
Rather it can changed by source element.

  • LLC generation with a "recursiveness allowed" indicator in BOM

    Dear planning friends,
I have the following problem with the low-level code generation in SNP.
We have few products, that have indicator "recursiveness allowed" in the material BOM.
How in the APO side the PPM reflects that (the circular reference - the product is produced from itself and another component). Has something to do with the "Primary product" indicator in the PPM? If yes, is it checked automatically (in the PP/DS PPM and in SNP PPM)? Should it be checked for the input or for the output product.
Anyway now the LLC generation fails. I'd like to include these materials in planning, but how to set up the master data?
    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Mikhail,
Please note recursiveness in BOM components is not standard in APO PPMs. <a href="http://service.sap.com/notes">SMP Notes</a> 611063 gives the restrictions where recursiveness is allowed. You may also like to look at Note 648093.

  • Quiz set with no backward movement allows additional access through TOC

I created a quiz at the end of a training project and made these changes to the quiz preferences:
    checked shuffle answers
    checked show progress
no check for allow backward movement
checked show score at end of quiz
no check for allow user to review quiz
My intent was for the student to have one shot at passing the quiz.  However, I found that if I clicked on an item in the table of contents, I could work through the content and access the quiz again.
Is there any way to prevent this?

    Hello Keith,
On the first Quiz slide, where you want to disable the navigation with TOC,
open the Slide Properties (right mouse menu)
as action for 'On Slide Enter' choose Assign
open the dropdown list next 'to Assign:' and choose cpLockTOC
enter the number 1 next to 'with'
The result should be like this screenshot:
This will lock the TOC for this slide and subsequent slides. If you have all quiz slides together, you can wait until the first slide where you want to giver the user the ability for navigation through TOC again. Until then it is 'locked'. On the slide where you want to 'open' again, you perform the same steps I described, but change the number 1 in 0.
    Hope you understand the workflow

As Seb said, please be more specific, what exactly is happening. Also please give us some more info about your graphics card, the language version you are using and any peripherals you may be using. The issue you are seeing sounds like a misinterpretation of a menu command which could be caused by some custom function key kicking in or the system recording a mouse-click in na invisible region due to a miscommunication between the graphics driver and the mouse. Likewise, some foreign languages use keyboard mappings that may interfere with some of AE's commands. Something like that for sure....

  • Multiple 261 movements allowed over required qty in work order

Does anyone know why 2, 261 movements can be performed for the same components in a work order using MIGO? The transactions were performed within 2 seconds apart. Is it possible that SAP didnt update the work order within those 2 seconds?
I have tried to duplicate this issue and I keep getting the correct message that I cannot perform over the required qty.

It has to do with the configuration setting for the order type, verifty
confirmation parameters for the given order type (at the header level)
Under checks tab(Tcode: OPK4), it should be maintained as
"  Error when overdelivery tolerance is not checked"
If you maintain the above setting, he system would not allow you to do excess Goods Issue (mvt type 261) for the given work order
Please come back if you have further ?s

  • Are the "Previews" for each movie a indicator for quality?

I just got my Apple TV today and although I haven't bought any movies from it, I was wondering if when you're viewing a preview/trailer for a movie if that trailer is a good indication of the quality of the film?
I was watching a trailer for "Next Three Days" and it look pretty bad and began to wonder about my purchase.

    Ibis Ghost wrote:
My television is a Pioneer Elite Pro Kuro that has been ISF calibrated.
Should not be an issue with the plasma, however do not expect AppleTV to give the best video experience - it cannot match Blu Ray for sheer quality and audio options simply due to the fact that you're using considerably less data for an AppleTV rental (1-1.5GB for SD, 3-4 GB for HD) vs a Blu Ray (up to 25GB of data to play with).
I am quite sensitive on my Panasonic plasmas to the issue of poor gradation in dark/bright scenes with AppleTV where you get discrete dark grey/white bands instead of smooth dark grey>black or near white>full white. While some of this could be my TVs, I found the SD preview for the latest Karate Kid film particularly revealing of the dark banding trait, and I opted to rent the Blu Ray instead which looked fine by comparison in darker scenes.
It may be the AppleTV, but I think it's more likely just lack of detail encoding inherent in the compression methods used. I also notice similar problems when viewing digital terrestrial TV on heavily compressed channels.

  • Set res/PR indicator in PM refurb order based on item category

    Hi,
We are loading components of a refurbishment order from the bill of material of the header material. Actually the operations and components are defined in a general maintenance task list and the task list is included in the order. The components have both item categories L (stock item), E (also stock item) and Z (non-stock item). We have set the res/PR indicator as 'Immediately' in SPRO (Define Change Docs, Collective Purc. Req. Indicator, Operation no. interval) for that refurbishment order type.
Our requirement is that we want to set the Res/PR indicator as 'Immediately' for components with item category L and 'Never' for components with item category E in the general data of the individual component. We found one enhancement point where this can be done but this does not seem to work. How can we implement this functionality?
This is required as client wants to selectively pick components with item category E from warehouse, as part of closed loop refurbishment process where the components are inspected and replaced with working components (item cat E) from the warehouse. If we implement the above functionality then we can uncheck the movement allowed indicator in the component general data for those components with item category E which are not required to be picked.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards,
    Abhijit

    Abhijit,
I understand that they may not be BULK Material,But i was requesting to see if you consider treating the items with "E" item category like bulk materials.
Have a look at form AUDISP_FROM_NO_DISP in program LCOMKFZV,You should be able use the implicit enhancement functionality to adjust the reservation indicator based on the item category, at the end of the form.As with any implicit enhancement functionality, make sure to test this thoroughly and document the same properly.

  • Final Issue Indicator on reservation

I am looking for the answer to how the Final Issue Indicator should function when it is checked doing a partial goods issue to a reservation.
    I've found differing documentations.
1- Final Issue indicates that a reservation item is completed. Further goods movements in respect of this reservation item are not anticipated, although they are still possible.
2- If the Final Issue Indicator is set that it will no longer be suggested as a selectable item for issue.
My problem is that when the Final Issue Indicator is set while doing a partial goods issue, the item still shows up on MIGO as a selectable item when you are issuing remaining items. I did not think the item would still show up as selectable. (seems to be following #1)
When the Final Indicator is set before issuing anything on the item, then the item doesn't show up as selectable on MIGO. (Seems to be following #2)
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi
Final issue indicator behaviour in reservation.
    1) Create reservation and in change mode set the FI indicator.
In this scenario system will not not allow you to use reservation saying that XXXX does not contain selectable item.
    2) Create reservation and do the partial goods issue then set the FI indicator.
In this scenario system still allows to do the goods issue for the remaining item.As per standard SAP it is still possible to do the GI for the partial issed one even the FI is set. If you want to restrict then you can either set the deletion indicator or remove the movement allowed indicator.
Hope it helps at some extent.
