hi
The movement type is a three-digit key used to differentiate between goods movements in the R/3
System. Examples of these goods movements are goods receipts, goods issues or transfer postings.
It plays a central role in Automatic Account determination. Together with other factors Movement types determines which stock or consumption accounts are updated in Financial Accounting.
We will use the Standard Movement types of SAP.
In case as per the Business requirement if you want any new Movement type.
Then you need to Copy the Standard Movement type in OMJJ
Movement type is the movement type + 1 (reversal of 101 = 102).
101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned to an account, a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
If the purchase order or order has been assigned to an account, the goods receipt is not posted to the warehouse, but to consumption.
In the case of non-valuated materials, the goods receipt is posted to the warehouse, although the purchase order has not been assigned to an account.
Possible special stock indicators:
u2022 K Goods receipt for purchase order to consignment stock
u2022 O Goods receipt for purchase order to stock of material provided to vendor
u2022 E GR for purchase order or order to sales order stock
u2022 Q GR for purchase order or order to project stock.
Goods receipt for subcontract order: at goods receipt, the consumption of the components is posted at the same time (see movement type 543)
Goods receipt for stock transport order: at goods receipt the transported quantity is posted in the receiving plant from stock in transit into unrestricted-use stock (stock in quality inspection or blocked stock).

121 Subsequent adjustments for subcontracting.
This movement type cannot be entered manually.
With a subsequent adjustment for a subcontract order it is possible to correct the consumption of components. In this case, the material produced by the supplier is credited with the excess consumption / under-consumption. For this reason, if there is a subsequent adjustment, an item is generated for the produced material using movement movement type 121.
Movement type 121 does not have a reversal movement type.
Possible special stock indicators:
O, E, Q
122 Return delivery to supplier or to production
Using movement type 122, you can distinguish real return deliveries for a purchase order or order from cancellations (102).

The effects of movement type 122 correspond to a cancellation of movement type 101.

I am doing Sub-Contracting PO for By- Products. I have maintianed in BOM , the by-product material code in "-ive" qty.
Consider Material A - Main Product
                   Material B - By_Product
                  Material C - Raw Material
When i do GRN, Material A triggers 101 movement Tpe, Material B triggers 545-0 Moveent Type and Material C triggers 543-0 Movement Type.
But When i check the stock of material, Material B is lying as Vendor Stock.
Kindly let me know whether this transaction and movement type updation is correct.
Else let me know the steps.
I need to Receive Material A and Material B in my Stock.
    Thanks & Regards
    T.Madhesh Kumar

    HI
Thanks for u r reply. But i need to receive the material A and material B same time during Goods receipt itself. Is there any possibilities that i can receive both the material in Un-restricted stock during goods receipt.
    Thanks & Regards

  • By-product subcontracting process

what is the By-Product process in subcontracting, please explain whole process with tcode and movement type?? .which is t-code and movement tpe we supply the assemble goods and which is movement type we consume it ad what are the the process we receive the component please explain in detail.

    Dear Friend,
While creating the purchase order in components you can maintain the by product what your getting from the subcontractor in
negative value (you has to define new material for by products),
this scenario will be help full when by product will be getting back to your premises when you receive finished material from vendor it will be received by 101, consume the raw material by 543, and receive the by product by 545 movement type
if your not receiving back that material at the time use 551 O for sending the material to the scrap for subcontract material

  • Change default mvt 311 for stock transfer reservation generated by system

    Dear SAPper,
I used storage location '0003' planned seperately in material master MRP4 and set reorder point 100 and replenishment 100 too.
After the stock fall below 100 the system will create stock trasnfer to '0003' the 'from storage location' is still blank. the system used movement type 311
i want to used two step transfer 303 - 305 for this transfer.
of course 303 can not be used to reservation so i create customized mvt type 903 (copy from 303 and modify it)
but something still trouble is when the MRP generate reservation it always use 311 movement tpe
can i customized that when storage location planned seperately stock fall below reorder point, MRP generate resevation transfer with mvt 903 (not standard 311)
    Please kindly help
    Best regards,
    Freddy Ha

    hi,
actually there is 2 problems here
    1. 303 two step is prohibited for reservation so i create 903 to be used in reservation for two step transfer with reservation
    2. reservation is created automatically for storage location plan seperataly if the stock fall below reorder point, this problem is system always use movement type 311 sloc to sloc
i want to used two step sloc to sloc, so the reservation created using 903
    can i configure it?
    Best regards,

  • Batch selection strategy not working properly

    Hi ,
I have an issue with automtaic batch determination
The header item contains 10 component items, out of 10 components I am facing issue with only one component so that I can consider this is not a configuration issue and might be a master data issue
    Scenario :
process order created , released and after material staging saved , then the transfer order created automaticallyfor component items . the particular one component having 3 batches .. In the material master the total sheif life time maintained as 1095 days.  for the first batch mfg date 01/01/2010 the system calculates the SLED 31/12/2010 , and the remaining 2 batches expires during 08/09/2013  .logically the system should pick the first batch which one expires first ( FEFO ). but it picking the others
If i change the date of mfg and save it , after that if i create a process order it picks the batch correctly
but if i put back the earlier dates in mfg date after that it picking the correct batch only
My question is why the batch sreach strategy is picking the differnt batches for same dates , whether the batch number get stored if we change manually
pls suggest and give some hints what are the points I need to check

    Dear
Some of the check points may be :
1.Investigate the Batch management -SLED/FIFO : Batch management - FEFO
2.Please check whther any Batch search strategy is maintined for th  component in MBC2 or in COB2 and check the sort rule of the batch determination   : Re: Error In Batch Determination
3.Create a batch search strategy using selection criteria and include characteristics LOBM_RLZ (Remaining shelf life) in the class. Check the oss note 33396 to calculate this characteristics automatically. You can enter selection criteria in something like >= 0, for example.
4.Check the Period Indicator for SLED and Rounding values in Plant Data 1/Storage Loaction 1 in MMR for the particual compoenets .
5.Check the settings for SLED in  Material master material/sto loc data1 and  Log-batch management-exparation date check SLED settings & there is a user exit through we can configure the date check. Check in OMJ5 here you have to define check with plant and move tpe wise

  • Taxes for Movement type 201

    Hi,
How can I configure  / develop abap code in userexits/badis to force the system to calculate taxes for movement type 201? When Creating the GI using MB1A for movement type 201, The accounting documents created donot have tax calculated( From vertex ). I am assing the tax codes and jurisdiction codes also I am passing the flag for Calculate tax. I tried changing the document tpe of FI documents but the call to vertex is not happening. Any Ideas?
    Thanks,

    Hi Charlie,
Thanks for your reply. I am aware that SAP does not support this. But I have a requirement for this. Do you have any suggestions how I can accomplish it.

  • MB1b - 343 movement

    Hi MM gurus:)
I'm from SD so please forgive me if my question is stupid...:)
We had on blocked storage a material:
    ID              Ammount              Batch
    500390                3                  1012000
    500390                2                  1012000
    500390                1                  1012000
So the material is the same as well as the batch.
    A user made a MB1B with 343 movement.Then he made LT10 and press stock transf.frgmd.
After that in LS26 we see all quantity but when we enter in stock per material we see  (i will write you a short ver.)
Tpe.         Stor.bin          total stock                      storage unit
    S50          S101                   3                               1000031298
    S50          S102                   2                               1000031077
    S50          S103                   1                               1000031293
My question is : Can we sum up all amount and put it in S50 on one storage not on 3 like now?
And second could someone write the process after MB1B - the transactions - because sometimes we have a  negative quants and we have to use a several strange transactions to manage with it ?
    Best Regards
    Thanks in advance
    Lukasz

    Hi Lukasz,
As I understand your problem is that you have 3 different storage units for your material:
    item1 1 pc > SU_ID1
    item2 2 pc > SU_ID2
    item3 3 pc > SU_ID3
If the storage type is not SU-managed you won't have such problem. If it is, your SUs remain separated, but you can make one storage unit from several (if the material IDs + batch IDs are the same).
When you make a stock transfer via LT10 you can choose 'foreground' again and give the SU number in the relevant field.
    I mean:
Select e.g. item1&item2 in LT10 > stock transfer, foreground > give 'SU_ID3' in SU field on the pop-up panel and execute the tr.
Hopefully it will work. (the essence of this thing: you have to move your materials to one SU_ID).
You can make 'one' storage unit from the three differnt:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/c6/f846694afa11d182b90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
Is it a solution for your problem?

  • 101 Type of movement.  problems in posting materials

Hi, dear SAP gurus. I have found a strange problem when i tried to post materials(in MIGO transaction, 101 type of movement).
I chosed "Goods Receipt"-"Purchase Order", 101 tpe of movement, then entered a number of purchase order, all materials opened, everything OK. Then I click "To Check". The system write that "the document is OK". But when i try to post, there are appears a mistake:
"Account determination for entry "in such a chart of accounts" WRX "in such a company code" , "in such an account" not possible
    Message no. M8147
    Diagnosis
The system did not find an account for this transaction. This means that the account determination for key CAUA WRX OBL0 ___ 2010 is not maintained in MM Customizing (Valuation). The key is made up of:
    Chart of account
    Transaction key (= Posting transaction)
    Valuation grouping code
    Account grouping code
    Valuation class
    System Response
The system cannot update a G/L account for this transaction. You cannot post the transaction.
    Procedure
    Contact your system administrator.
If you have the authorization, check the Account determination in Customizing for Valuation.
    Proceed
    Note
The relevant posting transaction can be found in Table T030A."
Please, help me. What is wrong? I have already checked every customization(types of materials, materials data, the chart of account, OBYC transaction and WRX operation. Everything is right. All worked last month, i made such operations and thre was no problems. I need to test MRP in few days but this mistake is killing me.........HELP
Edited by: Jürgen L. on Feb 1, 2012 11:45 PM
Subject changed to meet the forum rules

SAP gave you already the content that is misses in the account determination:
    CAUA WRX OBL0 _ 2010
SAP is searching for this combination in your customizing table T030 because it knows those values from customizing and master data.
Hence either your customizing is not complete, or your master data is not maintained well.
you only have to seperate this info
    CAUA WRX OBL0 _ 2010
      into the different parts
CAUA is your chart of accounts
    WRX is the transaction key
OBL0 is your Valuation grouping code
no vlaue for Account grouping code
2010 iis the Valuation class from your material master
so you only need to check if you have an account for this combination in your customizing, (best you do this with SE16 directly in table T030) I am certain you do not have an entry for this combination.
now it is important to know how your entries for WRX transaction key look like in your T030, I mean entries that are close to the desired one.
Do they have an account grouping code?
do they have a different valuation class?
Is 2010 the right valuation class for your material? if not, then change it in material master and try again.

  • Three movies I bought from iTunes this morning do not show up on the 1st Gen AppleTV.

I understand some file formats are not compatible with AppleTV (1st gen) but these films were purchased directly from iTunes.  One would assume they are formatted properly to work on Apple equipment, yes?  Previously purchased movies show up on the AppleTV just fine, so I'm not sure what's going with these three.  They were from the $4.99 Sci Fi collection:  Enemy Mine, Dune and Terminator 2.  Oldies but goodies.  The iMac, where the iTunes Library lives is used to stream the content to the AppleTV, and everything that is in my Library appears to be available for streaming, except these three films.  Any advice?

I have now restored Factory Settings on the Apple TV. Looked promising until iTunes hangs everytime I tried to enter the podcast page of the sync options. And I get errors that my newest movies, created in Final Cut Pro X with the Share with 720p Apple Devices export settings are not compatible with Apple TV.
    Unbelievable.

  • How can I move an e mail account from one family pack to another

I have an e mail address (not main family pack e mail address) and I would like to move it to another family pack. Is this possible and if so how?
    Thanks

Caroline12, Welcome to the discussion area!
I believe that your question is about a Mobile Me family pack account. If that is true, I believe that the answer is no.
But your probably should post your question in the Apple.com > Support > Discussions > MobileMe discussion area.

  • How can I move applications from one account to a other ?

    Hi
I have a old account which I used on my iPad 1. Now I moved to the cloud and got a @me.com apple ID. This new account I use for my new iPad 3 and now I would like to move some Apps from the old account to the new. How can I do this ?
    Thx for help !

At this time you can't transfer apps or merge accounts. It has been rumoured that apple is looking at this as it's a bit of a pain. You have to use your old account with the iTunes store to access apps and then your .me account for iCloud and it's functionality but it works fine.

I'm trying to draw everything first to a buffer:
    buffer=new BufferedImage(getSize().width, getSize().height, BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
    gBuffer=buffer.getGraphics();
The buffer is for one JPanel and then i want to draw this buffer every time when balls change their possitions(collide or just move).
The logic is something like this:
startButton -> (ball.start() and add ball to List<balls>),
ball.start() -> ball.run() -> (move allballs, paint to buffer and show buffer)
    In the first class:
BouncingBalls balls; //A REFERENCE TO SECOND CLASS
    In the second class:
    private List<CollideBall> balls=new ArrayList();
the tames are the same but this isn't an error.

  • Podcast episodes download to wrong folder. How can I move them?

Some of my downloaded podcast episodes seem to be going to incorrect folders.
For example, I subscribe to the Photoshop TV podcast. Some of the downloaded episodes go into the iTunes Music folder>Podcasts>Photoshop TV folder. This seems to me to be the correct path.
But most of the episodes wind up in iTunes Music folder>Unknown Artist>Unknown Album folder, along with many unrelated, non-podcast files.
Now when I search in the Library for<Photoshop> all the Photoshop TV files appear, along with other files referencing Photoshop. But when I search the Library using <Photoshop TV> as the search term, only the Photoshop TV files in the Unknown Album folder show up, but not the ones in the Podcasts>Photoshop TV folder.
And finally when I cllick on Podcasts in the Source pane, once again only the Photoshop TV files in the Unknown Album show up.
I've tried adding those Photoshop TV files back to the library but they remain in the Unknown Album folder.
I haven't tried rebuilding the library yet. I will, but it seems that wont actually move any files. I could also recreating a new library moving my iTunes music folder out of the iTunes folder and then adding them all back. That seems like overkill and I might very well end up with the same problem. (I'm not sure how many of my other Podcast subscriptions have this problem, but not many)
    So,
    1) how can I get these Photoshop TV files into the Podcasts>Photoshop TV folder, and
    2) how can I make this the folder that shows up when I search via the Podcast source, and
    3) what causes this problem?

    Hello -
I recently bought an ipod classic, but it will not sync my purchased movie. I've noticed the movie has an exclamation mark beside it. When I checked my itunes file; the movie downloaded to a "Downloads Folder", is there something wrong?

Yes, it should be in your iTunes folder. The ! next to the song indicates that iTunes has lost track of where that movie file is located.
Move it to your iTunes folder and you should have no trouble syncing it.
