Movement types corrsponds to Inbound ,Outbound and Internal transaction

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the list of movement types corresponding  to the Inbound,Outbound  and for Internal Transaction.
for example:  movement type 101 corresponds to Inbound transaction.
Thanks

Dear Bala,
This may help you.....
Below you will find a short description of the standard movement types. The cancellation movement type is the movement type + 1 (cancellation for 101 = 102).
101 Goods receipt for purchase order or order
If the purchase order or order has not been assigned to an account, a stock type (unrestricted-use stock, stock in quality inspection, blocked stock) can be entered during goods receipt.
If the purchase order or order has been assigned to an account, the goods receipt is not posted to the warehouse, but to consumption.
In the case of non-valuated materials, the goods receipt is posted to the warehouse, although the purchase order has not been assigned to an account.
Possible special stock indicators:
o     K Goods receipt for purchase order to consignment stock
o     O Goods receipt for purchase order to stock of material provided to vendor
o     E GR for purchase order or order to
o     sales order stock
o     Q GR for purchase order or order to
o     project stock.
Goods receipt for subcontract order : at goods receipt, the consumption of the components is posted at the same time (see movement type 543)
Goods receipt for
stock transport order : at goods receipt the transported quantity is posted in the receiving plant from stock in transit into unrestricted-use stock (or stock in quality inspection, blocked stock).
103 Goods receipt for purchase order into GR blocked stock
The GR blocked stock is not valuated.
You cannot receive goods into GR blocked stock for stock transport orders.
105 Release from GR blocked stock for purchase order
Movement type 105 has the same effects as 101.
121 Subsequent adjustment for subcontracting
This movement type cannot be entered manually.
With a subsequent adjustment for a subcontract order it is possible to correct the consumption of components. In this case, the material produced by the supplier is credited with the excess consumption / under-consumption. For this reason, if there is a subsequent adjustment, an item is generated for the produced material using movement movement type 121.
Movement type 121 does not have a reversal movement type.
122 Return delivery to supplier or to production
Using movement type 122, you can distinguish real return deliveries for a purchase order or order from cancellations (102).
In the standard version, you must enter a reason for the return delivery if you are using movement type 122. In this way, evaluations of return deliveries are possible.
The effects of movement type 122 correspond to a cancellation of movement type 101.
123 Reversal of return delivery
If you returned a goods receipt using movement type 122, you can reverse the return delivery using movement type 123.
Movement type 123 has the same effects as movement type 101.
124 Return delivery to vendor from GR blocked stock
Using movement type 124, you can return a goods receipt to GR blocked stock (103).
Movement type 124 has the same effects as movement type 104.
125 Return delivery from GR blocked stock - reversal
If you returned a goods receipt to GR blocked stock using movement type 124, you can reverse the return delivery using movement type 125.
Movement type 125 has the same effects as movement type 103.
131 Goods receipt for run schedule header
This movement cannot be entered manually. It is generated automatically at notification of goods receipt for a run schedule header.

319 Split structured material into components (Retail)
You can enter the splitting of a structured material manually using movement type 319.
You can configure Customizing so that a structured material (for example, (z.B. set, prepack or display) is automatically split into its components at goods receipt. The system posts the split using movement type 319. In this process, the BOM header material is posted and each of the component stocks are increased. You can also use this function if you use the Warehouse Management System (WM).
Example:
A box of the structured material S contains 3 pieces of the component K1 and 4 pieces of the component K2. The following material document items result after the material is split at goods receipt:

  • Movement types for dismantling an equipment and putting in store

    Hi All,
    I am using refurbishment scenario.
I have a equipment with material number and serial number. First I have to dismantle it from functional location.
    Q. Now my requirement is that I have to put that material in store in valuation type C3.
At the time of installation material had C2 valuation type so now when I am putting it back to store via IE4N with 501 movement type it is allowing me to post only in C2 valuation.
    Q. What is the standard procedure to put the material in store in C3 valuation type after dismanlting. Which movement type is used?
    Sundar

    Hi Mohammad,
I have maintained all valuation types also those are assigned. Material  also has all three valuation types C1, C2 & C3.
I want to know the standrad procedure (alongwith movement types) before refurbishmen process starts.
Whether material is sent to store in same valuation type i.e. C2?
Or material is sent directly in C3 valuation type?
Or material is first sent in C2 type and then transferred to C3 type?
    Sundar

  • Create new Movement type - combination of 343 E and 411 E

The situation at client is that the stock is initially in "Sales Order BLOCKED status". It needs to be moved to Unrestricted Own stock. So we are performing 343 E to move from blocked to unrestricted and then 411 E to move from Sales order stock to own stock. So to post these two movement types we get two idocs for each batch. In order to decrease the volume of idocs & idoc error handling we want to create a new movement type that can move from Sales Order blocked stock to unrestricted own stock.
In OMJJ i can make a copy of 343 E but i need to make changes to the "Posting string for quantities - BUSTM" for MAAV or MAV4 and others. I need to know what values need to be updated in T156M especially and also in any other 156* tables.
    Thanks

You cannot combine 2 movement types. you can only do what SAP has forseen. OMJJ does not allow to create a movement type from scratch. You can only create a new movement by copy of an existing, hence you cannot create new functionality.
beside of some table settings in T156... tables, there must be the logic in the programs  to consider what you try to achieve.
And  this is not the case. You are not supposed to change anything on SAP posting strings.

  • Basic question inbound / outbound and source service (ASA 5505)

    Hi there,
I'm new to the ASA 5505 appliance and have a few very basic questions. Hope I get some responses and not flamed for being a total newbie. :-)
Inbound versus outbound: I'm having a difficulty understanding the inbound versus outbound terminology. Can somebody please clarify? For example, if I want to block all http traffic from hosts on the inside to the internet but allow all https connections, intuitively I'd configure a rule to block outbound (= outgoing) traffic for the http protocol for the inside network. However, it seems as if I have to add this rule for inbound connections. Why is a connection from a host on the inside to a web server on the internet considered an inbound connection on the inside interface?
When I add a rule, I've got a "service" field and a "Source Service" field in the "More Options" section. What's the difference? Do I have to set both to the same value?
    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Ralf,
Yes, if you put a deny http, it would drop all packets for destination as http port, but be mindful that when you apply an access-list on your inside interface, it automatically activates the deny ip any any right at the bottom, you would be able to see that in the ASDM. So for the users that need be allowed access to the http, needs to be explicitly allowed http access, so your correct configuration would be:
access-list inside_access_in deny tcp host 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.255 any eq http
access-list inside_access_in permit tcp any any
    access-group inside_access_in interface inside
This would block 192.168.1.1 to go to internet, but allow all others.
Second question, i haven't chceked the ASDM, but just remember out of memory, that this service option should be the protocol, whether ip,tcp, udp, esp or gre etc.
Moreover always try to block connections as closed to the source as possible, this would mean, if you want to filter traffic going from inside to outside, that should be done on the inside interface not outside.

  • Replace 601 movement with 301 movement type in outbound Delivery

    Hello All,
We are using SAP - 4.6 C system.
We have a requirement to create a customer outbound delivery for a corresponding customer Scheduling Agreement but postings should be similar to 301 movement type against 601 movement
When we use 601 movement type - Material Document and corresponding Accounting Documents are created.
We do not want Material Document and corresponding Accounting Documents and at the same time should not use TSA / STO functionality
We want to use only Sales Outbound delivey fucntionality only with 301 postings.
So we tried to use 301 movement type to post an outbound Delivery and below is the error. Please advise a solution to fix this error. or an alternative approach to create an out bound delivery which should not post to an accounting document.
    Error -
    Update control of movement type incorrect (entry 301 X X _ L _ V)
    Message no. M7 226
    Diagnosis
The system could not find entry 301 X X _ L _ V in any of the movement type control tables.
    Procedure
    Cancel current processing.
    Contact your system administrator.
Action to be taken by the system administrator
Check in Customizing for Inventory Management under Copy, Change Movement Types whether the entry is contained in the Update control view for the movement type.
If the entry is missing, proceed as follows:
u2022 For standard movement types, this means that the given process is not supported using the present data combination. Do not create any entries without prior arrangement with your SAP consultant. Otherwise, incorrect postings may result.
u2022 For customer-defined movement types (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z), this may mean that they have not been fully defined. Delete the movement type and re-create it by copying a standard movement type.
    Regards,
    Siva

    Hello all, Jurgen,
    Thanks for your responses.
Today, we use 601 movement type for Outbound delivery which creates Material Document and Accounting Documents.
Instead of this, we would like to replace 601 with 301 movement as this has simple plant to plant transfer postings in one of our specific scenario.
We are getting below error when we do Post goods Issue on Outoubnd delivery: we just replaced SD: Schedule line category movement to 301.
    Update control of movement type incorrect (entry 301 X X _ L _ V)
    Message no. M7 226
    Diagnosis
The system could not find entry 301 X X _ L _ V in any of the movement type control tables
Is this the correct approach? Even if we try to create new custom movement ref to 301 to fulfill  301 X X _ L _ V.
Will this work? I am sure in addition to this we need some user exit development.
Presently, this is SD Outbound delivery cycle and will continue with same approach.
we also have our regular scenarios which work with 601. This is one of our exception business cases where we need affects similar to 301.
For above case we can not use STO/TSA with some master data changes as we have already have same plants set-up for regular STO/TSA processes.
The above requirement is special case in one of the business cases.
    Thanks
    Siva

  • Creation of new movement type and transaction code

    Hi
As per my business requirement i want to create new movement type 911 in  1M and how to assign to transaction code MIGO and if possible can some body can guide me with configuration.
    With regards
    G Narendra kumar

    Hi Narendra,
    1 . To copy a movement type,
select the field Movement type and choose Continue. The dialog box
    Define work area appears.
    2. In the dialog box Define work area, enter the movement type you want
to copy in the From: field. In the To: field, enter the name of the
new movement type you want to create. To go to the overview of the
selected movement types, choose Continue .
    3. Select the movement type you want to copy, and choose Edit -> Copy
    as.
Overwrite the selected movement type with the new movement type
(beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z) and copy all dependent entries.
The system copies all control indicators from the reference movement
type to the new movement type.
    4. Copy the reversal movement type and enter it in the view
    Reversal/follow-on movement types.
    5. In SE38, execute the program RDDKOR54 and then give the entry T156 as table name and again execute. Check if the entries 9,Y, and Z* are available in the namespace.
    Thanks

  • Custom Movement Type - Hybrid of 671 and 657

    Summary:
Due to a business process we are looking for a movement type similar
to a 671, but instead of inventory going to unrestricted stock, it goes
    to blocked stock instead.
    Detail:
We have a business process where one plant (store) will create a return
STO (RETPO=X) to another plant (warehouse).  This STO utilizes delivery
processing.  Following the creation of the STO, a negative goods receipt
is perform at the original receiving plant (store) using movement type
    161.  This stock leaves the store as unrestricted stock type.  When it
arrives at the warehouse, a negative goods issue is performed using a
671 movement types.  This brings the stock back into the original
    shipping location as unrestricted stock.
Since the product being returned is defective we would like this product
to be brought back into the warehouse (original shipping location) as
    blocked stock.
We have tried using movement type 657 instead of 671, and while it posts
to the desired stock type, the movement does not update the STO with the
negative goods issue, nor does it remove it from stock in-transit.
    Question:
This there either, a standard movement type or settings to create a
custom movement type, which will be a hybrid of 671 and 657?  We want
this movement type to remove the stock in-transit and update the STO (as
671), and go into blocked stock (as 657).

there is no such Hybrid movement type.
you cannot really create own movement types, you can only create new movement types by copy of an existing one.
If such combination is not forseen (and no coding in SAP programs) then it is not possible to create such a movement type yourself.
Stock in transit has no stock categories to differentiate between unrestricted, quality or blocked stock, you can only post unrestricted stock into transit. Hence you can only get unrestricted stock from in-transit.
QM would have been an option as you can define inspection types and they trigger that a stock will go into quality inspection instead directly to unrestricted.
But you already said that you do not use QM - so there is not much what you can do except remembering that you do a transfer posting to bring returns into blocked stock .

  • Two Step Posting in Movement Type 201 and 309

    Hi Experts,
Our copmany wants to use movement type (T-code MB1A) 201 and (MB1B) 309 in two way posting, like 313/315 like some body create the document and then somebody apporves the document then finance entry takes place.
How can we map the same in the system, please suggest, its most urgent.
    Regards
    Ishu

201 Goods issue for a cost center
The goods can only be withdrawn from unrestricted-use stock.
    Possible special stock indicators:
K: Goods withdrawal from consignment stock
P: Goods withdrawal from the pipeline
If you have withdrawals from consignment stock and from pipeline, payables to suppliers ensue.
309 Transfer posting material to material
The quantity is posted from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing material into unrestricted-use stock in the receiving material.
Prerequisite: both materials have the same stockkeeping unit.
    Possible special stock indicators:
    E, O, Q, V, W
I think it is not possible in Standard System

  • SLED and Movement type

    Hi,
Need clarification. In OMJ5 (Activate/Deactivate SELD), There are two options, one for plant and the other for movement type.
In the second option of movement type, we generally see movement types related to Goods receipt and GI with respect to Account assignment.
There is no movement types configured for SLED general goods issue movement types...
What could be the reason? We are not interested in SLED in goods issue scenario? What in case of interplant stock movement where receiving plant has to send back the material to issuing plant? Atleast in this case SLED should be active?
    Thanks
    RJS

once you have activated the SLED check for GR and maintained the shelf life data in material master, then each batch will get the shelf life expiration date.
You can then monitor stock by this date, e.g. in MB5M transaction.
you can switch stock status if the SLED has  past in transaction QA07, SAP does not do this automatically (except you setup a job for this), so that you do not issue outdated stock to production or to your customers.
You then have to setup a batch search strategies (can be done  for MM movements, for PP activities and SD activities and WM movements) that support you to find the right batch.  Usual strategies for goods issues are strategies that support FIFO (first in first out) or FEFO (first expire first out). But you can as well search for batches on various other characteristics together with these FIFO (or FEFO )  data. Fully up to your own design and requirments.
So you always pick the right batch. But you will not find a message that tells you that the batch has expired, like it is for goods receipts. you have to make sure thru batch search that you will not get an expired batch for a goods issue transaction (except you exactly want this, e.g. for the scrapping movements)

  • Movement Type and Its Reversal

    Hi all,
    In Sub contracting scenario-
541-  Transfer posting to Stock with Sub contractor from unrestricted stock.
542- Transfer posting to Stock with Sub contractor from unrestricted stock Reversal
I want to know does 542 means TP from subcontracting stock to Unrestricted stock.
Which scenario i can used 542 to movmnt type?
How the GR and Byproducts, scraps are  is handled in Sub contracting.
    Regards,
    Ashu

    Hi
3 diff scenarios you may use 542 movement type...
1)You are sending some component to SC-vendor...for assembling against SC-PO...
Now the Order has been cancelled...you want to cancel the SC-PO, and take back the Component from SC-Vendor...Now you have to take back the Components from SC-Vendor in T.Code:MB1B,useing 542 movement type only....
2)Suppose you have issued some Components to SC-Vendor against SC-PO for making one assemble....Now the SC-Vendor has consumed the Component less compare to our Estimation(what we maintained in BOM)...
So Now you have to take back the Bal.qyt. of component fron Sc-vendor....for this purpose...First you have to Do regulr GR for the Finished assembly....and separately, you have to do Sub.Adjustment in MIGO, with ref.doc.as Your SC-PO....the Under consumed component will be adjusted in 544 O+ movement type automatically....and this Under Consumed bal.qty.Components you have to get back into Company stock in MB1B,useing 542movent type...
3)If you want to get By product from SC-Vendor.....then you can get back by useing 542movement type only...
If you want to get By product from SC-Vendor.....you have to maintain while creating BOM itself...
For eg) you give Product "A" to SC Vendor and getting back Product "B"...and By product "C"....
Then Create BOM for Product "B" in CS01...and in Components list...you give Product "A" , and maintain Product "C" as a negative component(ie) By product..)
Then Create PO for Product "B" in ME21N with Item Category "L"....
    Then Issue Product"A" to SC-Vendor in ME2O///
After completion of product "B"....you do GR for Product "B"...in MIGO 101+ movement type....
At this time, the Component, Product"A"...will be automatically consumed in 543 O-- movement type...and your By Product will be generated in 545 O+ movement type and it will be lying at SC-vendor's Place....
Then separately, you can Get back this By product in to Company's stock in MB1B movement type....useing movement type 542....
I think I have clarified all your questions...
    Reward if useful

  • Movement Type for Good Issue and Good Consumption in Table S032

    Hi Gurus,
Would like to ask what are the movement type used in Good Consumption and good issue in Table S032.
    Thank you in advance
    Best Regards,
    Julius Calugay

    Hi
If a goods movement is an goods issue and if its going to reduce the inventory stock/value (goods issue posting causes an update of the consumption statistics of the material) , then its going to be an goods consumption also - ex. issue to a cost center/order
If a goods movement does not affect the inventory value but change in stock, then its only a goods issue - ex. transfer posting
If a goods movement is not an goods issue, but it reduces the inventory stock/value, then its only a goods consumption - ex. receipt of materials in a subcontract PO, here the raw materials is assumed as consumed for the finished product receipt.
    Thanks !
