Movement types in confirmation

pm experts,
in tcode iw41 the movement types that are shown in goods movement are 261, 262, 531 and 532. how can the other movement types in confirmation appear?
Thank you

Hi,
the thing I need to understand is:
1. why does the transfer order pick from another interim storage type in background.
2. why does this type of movement between interims auto-confirm
thanks

  • Custom movement type for Confirmation

    Hi All,
In my system, consultants previously worked here have designed some new movemet type for confirmations. But I couldn't understand where this movement type is assinged. I couldn't contact them. Can you please help me in understanding the setup?
while doing confirmation, it would post a GR document in backend with mvt type 101. But for return deliveries, instead of 122 it is posting through a custom mvt type xxx. I could see this mvt type in the IDOC generated in SRM. But couldn't find where it is assigned.
Can any one please guide me to explore this?
    Thanks.
    ss

    HI Ganesh,
I could see this custom mvt type in backend (OMJJ). But I couldn't understand how SRM will know this mvt type? I believe the assignment should be somewhere in SRM , beacsue we are not assigning any such thing in ECC.
When do a confirmation in extended classic scenario, IDOC would be first generated in SRM system, which would generate another IDOC in ECC. I could see this mvt type in SRM IDOC itself.
Is there a FM or BADI for this? Or could this be configured in IDOC types? We are using the standard IDOC type MBGMCR and basic type MBGMCR01.
    Thanks,

  • Use a different movement type for Scrap in Production Order Confirmation

Hello gurus. I have the following question.
Is it possible to have the "Scrap" quantity during Production confirmation in a separate movement type?
Currently, when I type in the "Yield" and "Scrap" quantities, both of them are summarized into one backflush line under Movement Type 261. So for example: Yield: 10 pieces and Scrap 5 pieces; I only get one Goods Movement for 15 pieces with MvT 261.
The requirement is that whatever is typed under "Scrap" goes on a different movement type (e.g. 551), because then it will be easy to follow (inventory-wise) how many pieces were used in production and how many were scrapped.
    Is it possible?

    Thanks for your reply Krishna.
Well, I notice that when I type a quantity in the "Scrap" field, the difference with "Yield" is that I simply don't get the produced material on stock (in the case of the last operation with a GR for instance). I just get the backflushed quantity.
But yes, I guess in this transaction, I'm scrapping the produced material, the components are still issued. I was just wondering if perhaps they could be split in 261 for normal backflush and 551 for backflush that didn't generate any finished assembly.
    Thanks for your insight.

  • Use of Movement type 103 for goods confirmation

    Hi All,
In SRM, as I understand, It always picks up 101 as Goods Receipt movement type during goods confirmation. But we want to use 103 as movement type instead of 101. Also we want to release from GR blocked stock using movement type 105 from SRM itself. We dont want to go to SAP Backend to release the blocked stock.
SO can you help me with the following:
    1. How to change the movement type for GR from 101 to 103.
    2. Can the release of blocked stock using 105 can be carried out from SRM?
    Regards

    hi,
your requirement is not possible in SRM.
In SRM there is no movement type concept .It is only is ECC6.0. Even the movement type 101 is also not appearing in
SRM. In the ECS (Extended Classic Scenario) after confirmation is done in SRM ,the movement type 101 is reflected in ECC6.0
similarly 102 - Return dely can be done in SRM.
    But you can try..
Check the program for doing the confirmation in SRM.Try to modify the Program to suit your requirement.

  • Backflush Components With Movement Type 101 When Confirm Production Order

    Hi PP Gurus,
I found that we have a backflushing material (procurement type: F) in 'Good Movement' with movement type 101 instead of 261.
The movement type of this material (procurement type: F) in reservation is 261. How did system determine the movement type 101 there?
Is there any user exit used there?
    Appreciate any help. Thanks.

  • PGI for STO movement type error Message no. L9005

    Hi Gurus,
I have created an STO.Created delivery and confirmed TO.
Now while doing PGI,single step only(647 movement type),
    system throws the following message,
    "" Error during search for WM movement type (641 1 L K  )
       Message no. L9005 "".
As per my checking for both IM movement types 641 and 647, ' 641 ' has been assigned as
Ref movement type and " 601"  has been assigned as WM movement type.
601 is maintained in WM.Should I maintain 641 in WM?That case I have to change SAP std settings..
If so pls provide me the details for 641 K.
    Kindly help.
    Best Regards

    Hi Kumar,
    Try the following:
Maintain an entry for your warehouse with movement type 641 SpStIn and Movment Indicator l combination in transaction OMLR.
    And also ,
Check in IMG Path - Enterprise Structure --> Assignment --> Logistis Execution --> Assign warehouse number to plant/storage location.
Here check whether the warehouse number is assigned to your plant and storage location.
    Thanks!

  • Delivery problem for Movement type 601 & 940

    Hi
I have created SO & Then delivery
But when i am checking Goods Movements data, there are 2 different movement types showed for one DN/SO for different material with same issue plant .
Could you please tell me the cause of this issue.
Whay it is coming like that. What setting i have to check.
I need to explain User on this Pls tell em what exactly i should check and confirm to USer
    Kindly help

Movement types are neither customer specific nor material specific.
It is based on your process.  That is if you are selling directly to an end customer who gives payment, then movement type will be 601
If you sell to an end customer through a warehouse, then the movement type would be 631.  Of course all these movement types as I said above, are being controlled via different schedule line category.
    thanks

  • Issue with Return Delivery for movement type 262

    Hi,
I have got a strange issue, the user is trying to do a MIGO Return Delivery for a material document using movement type 262, this he claims has been doing it for many materials. However when i go to the MKPF table i see the transaction Code field to be MIGO_GI for all the material documents for which he claims to have done return delivery. But under this transaction code we have only 4 options - Display, Issue, Cancel and Remove from storage.
Now when he tries to do the return delivery for movement type 262 he get an error message "Check table T156N: entry RL 262  does not exist" , but this has been very well maintained in the table.
Can you please let me know -
If it is possible to do a return delivery for a movement type 262?
If yes how to address the above error encountered.
    Thanks in advance
    Sachin

    Hi Sachin,
If you think of return delivery to vendor with or w/o PO reference you can use movement types 161, 122, 124 as default settings.
Movement type 261 means withdrawal against production order and its reverse is MVT 262. The latter can be used e.g. via MB1A (or you can make storno of a confirmation by 261).
Are you sure your user is using the correct terminology ('return delivery')? Please check the material documents he/she claims to have booked as return delivery. (in MB51 you can get a list of all material movements of MVT 261 that belong to 'your user' and after that you can open the material document and check through which transaction the booking was made.)

  • Creation of TO with 101 Movement type

    Hi
    My requirement is:
To create a Transfer Order(TO) with Movement Type 101 and when TO is created, checkbox "Immediate TO" should get ticked.
For TO creation I am using : L_TO_CREATE_MULTIPLE
But Checkbox "Immediate TO" does not gets checked for the PO.
    Please suggest how to proceed.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi Andrei
Thanks for your reply. What you have mentioned above is correct.
Immed. TO(Checkbox under WM tab in Material Document)
Automatic TO Creation Immediately After TR Generation
Indicator determining that automatic transfer order generation is active.
Automatic transfer order generation can be initiated both during the creation of the IM document as well as during material staging for production orders (PP interface).
After the IM document has been created, a transfer order for a transfer requirement or for a posting change notice is created, provided the following requirements are met:
Automatic transfer order generation is active (depending upon the movement type for all items of the IM document for which a transfer requirement or a posting change notice is to be created.
Within the entire document, the postings are executed in one warehouse number only.
If the current document is to created for each function module, for example, from the usage decision of QM, the automatic transfer order generation function must not be switched off.  This can be the case if on the basis of the constellation in the inspection lot automatic TO generation is not appropriate (see also the documentation on the interface WM <-> QM).
My requirement is not to use Customization i.e. I donot want to check 'Automatic TO' in customization.
Instead I am using FM: L_TO_CREATE_MULTIPLE  in a program for TO creation.
And when TO is created with Movement type '101' from the program, it should also check the checkbox 'Immed. TO'
Just wanted to confirm if this is possible.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • 3rd party order processing GR movement type

    Hi
In 3rd party order processing the goods are delivered to customer from vendor directly, but for billing purpose we do the GR at plant level(against purchase order)>invoice>Billing
Physically stock is not delivered to the plant, so when we do the GR(against purchase order),if the movement type is 101 it will updatet the stock. 3rd party delivery is not done, stock will not be reduced. I want to know what is the GR movement type for 3rd party order processing, is it 101 or anyother movement type.

    Hi,
    Check in t.code OMJJ.
Select movement type 101 and click on update control/WM movement types.
There you can see this movement type is configured for different update control/WM movment types.
Few entries are made in the system without value and quantity updates for movement type 101. So I assume, when you do MIGO using 101 movement type against third party purchase order, special stock indicator E and movement type B will be taken for statistical posting. You can do a testing to confirm this.

  • Inspection Lot creation for the 103 movement type

<<Don't ask for or offer points>>
    Dear Experts,
we have the requirement of Creating the Inspection lot for the 103 movement type. we have done all the necessary settings for 103 movement type (in OMJJ and under the node   Quality Management --> Quality Inspection -->Inspection Lot Creation -->Inspection for Goods Movements) but still I am unable to achieve the results. Same is happening for 105 movements.
Kindly let us know what settings need to be done in order to achieve the same.
Full points will be awarded for the reply
    Regards.

    Hi,
If you have activated two inspection types (eg 01, 0101) of same inspection lot origin (01), in material master you should  have a preferred indicator set for the inspection type for which you want to be selected when you perform goods receipt.
This check box is available in the inspection type set up in the Material master.
Also check whether the post to inspection stock indicator is set for the material (in the inspection type), then only material will be posted to inspection stock.
Please confirm, what happens to the stock after making MIGO. check in MMBE and confirm
Go through the link and maintain the necessary settings. I think default settings for 01 type should work.

  • Goods Receipt through internal order with movement type 262

    Dear Friends,
some of our users  making entries like the following
    1. created Internal Order
    2. Creating Reservation with movement type 262 ( which not issued material through movemnt type 261)
    3. Stock  updated
i just want to confirm, we not issued like X  material,  even stock not available,  we can make entries like the above, To receive X material from Internal order/ subcontractor using movement type 262.
kindly advice please  if it is wrong then tell me the process.
    Regards,
    Rajesh G

    HI,
if we receive material from subcontractor what process we can do...
can you explain your issue exactly what problem you have at your end .
I think you want to take subcontracting material inside which is not in sap system now,it may finished material or it may component. If you don't want to show this material as at vendor now
then you can try movement type 501  or through physical inventory  t-code MI10

  • Movement type 101 for receiving plant for returning stock

    all,
This may sound a silly question, but I just want to double check and double confirm.
Our plant supplying stock to another plant (let's call plant B), however, sometimes the plant B will return back unacceptable stock back to us. What plant B do is that they wll create a return PO with flag on the return indicator. Next they will do a picking/packing, and perform a GR (i.e. movement type 161).
Next, we will perform a 101 goods receipt into our system.
At this point, my question are:
1 - during GR - 101 of this bad quanlity stock, can I do a GR into BLOCKED STOCK TYPE by select the dropdown block stock in MIGO, will system accept.
    2 - instead of performing 101 GR, can I perform a 103 (i.e. GR into GR-blocked stock)?
3 - our system OPPI setup is that the blocked stock is not taken into MRP calculation, thus, both of above method will prohibit them in MRP calculation. correct?
    thanks.

    Hi
1 - during GR - 101 of this bad quality stock, can I do a GR into BLOCKED STOCK TYPE by select the drop down block stock in MIGO, will system accept.
DO goes to Quality inspection stock or unrestricted stock  and from there it should be transfered to blocked stock but directly it will not go to blocked stock in receiving plant
    2 - instead of performing 101 GR, can I perform a 103 (i.e. GR into GR-blocked stock)?
    Not sure
