Movie Cover-Art Does Not Match Movie When Sharing On iPad?

The movies that are on my iTunes display properly. The movie cover-art matches the actual movie.
I turned on sharing in iTunes and when I select Video > Sharing on the iPad The Cover-Arts do not match
the actual movie it represents?
Seems to look right on my AppleTV and on my iPhone but not the iPad. I also noticed that when I select the
the sharing icon on the iPad it loads it way faster than before. I am thinking that it's loading it from bad cache.
Is there a way to have it actually reload the data or clear its cache?
What I have tried;
I have re-booted the iPad and that did not work.
I have also turned sharing off and on on iTunes and that did not work

After I add a cd to my library the cover art does not come up haw do I add it?

After I import a CD into my music library the cover art does not appear, and when I try to add the cover art it says that it is not available, when look it up I can locate the cover art but it will not import. How do I get the album cover art?

Have you tried Settings>Privacy>Location Services and see if you can turn it on in there?
Obviously it has to be an app that works with location services so if it is and nothing else works, delete the app and download it again to make it ask again if you want to allow your location to be used with it.

Cover Art will not auto load when CD is loaded

For the latest itunes 11 on win 7 the cover art will not auto load when i load a cd...I can and do fetch the art from itunes apple central afterward with no problem using the get album art feature....
I looked for the old click box in one of the pull down features that used to say more or less....auto load the art on loading a cd....but i can no longer find that choice...
got any suggestions????

I agree....I won't take anything less than 300X300 and that is a stretch when doing google searches, since I have it playing on a 42" screen. Soundtracks, I have yet to figure out - if I think through the cover art that I did for soundtracks, I specifically remember settting Album Artist to Various Artists and compilation to Yes. There is about 4 genre's though for soundtrack (soundtrack, soundtracks, orginal soundtrack, something like that)and a lot of these, at least from my experience, were not in itunes. garden state, boogie nights, sat night fever all had to get somewhere else.

Ipod failing to sync properly and cover art does not copy

Hello. My ipod wont sync properly, fails after about 10 albums with unknown error -53, and album cover art does not copy (fine in itunes). Have restored etc. Have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes software etc.
Have tried apple support helpline; send ipod off twice, just received replacement new/refurbished ipod today (as on 2nd attempt apple technicians found a problem they called "specific performance symptoms" with the old one).
New replacement one has the same problem as old one!
Has anyone seen this problem or had any joy getting a refund?... Any help much appreciated, thanks.

Select the iPod in iTunes.
Click the Music tab.
Are you selecting Sync all playlists?
Or if you are choosing Selected p[laylist, mkae sure all the playlists you want to sync are checked.

Album art does not match artist

About 50% of the album art does not match the artist titles on the iPod. In iTunes they are fine. I've reset and resynced. Any ideas?

If your iPod is set to update automatically then try this:
iTunes 6
1. Connect your iPod
2. Disable "Show Album art" in iTunes>Edit>Preferences>iPod.
3. Syncronise the iPod with iTunes. (Disconnecting and then reconnecting your iPod will do the trick)
4. Re-enable "Show Album Art" in iTunes>Edit>Preferences>iPod.
5. Syncronise the iPod again.

2. Disable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
3. Syncronise the iPod with iTunes.
4. Re-enable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.

IPod album art does not match song

Whenever I play songs on my iPod the album art is messed up. The art does not show up with the correct song and I don't know what to do. I have checked and all of the album art is correct on the computer. I don't know what is wrong with my iPod and I would like to be able to solve this problem without having to send my iPod out to Apple. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

If you have an iTunes store account, you can use the "get album artwork" option in iTunes. You don't actually need to purchase anything from the iTunes store, just to have or create an account. Provided that the album or song for which you are looking to add artwork is available for sale in the store, iTunes will find it and add it to your library.
If you go to preferences/general in iTunes and check the box marked "automatically download missing album artwork", it will automatically add the artwork when you import a CD into iTunes.
One downside to this is that if you have an album or song misspelled in your iTunes library, it may not be found by iTunes because it will be looking for a match.

If you don't have an account or don't want to create one, here are a couple of other methods.
First off, make sure you have "show album art" enabled in iPod options.
Highlight a song or album in iTunes, then right click on it and select the "get album artwork" option.  Go to Google Image Search and type in the artist/album name and click on search images.   Double click on a picture you like, then at the top of that page click on "see full size image".   When you get that image, simply copy/paste it into the space for album artwork in iTunes.   Make sure you select the album in the browser of iTunes before you copy/paste.   You'd be surprised what Google Images can bring up. There are literally millions, and even obscure album artwork can be found.
In the unlikely event that Google can’t find an image, you can also get artwork from Amazon.
If you’re happy using images from Amazon, and don’t want to copy/paste, then iTunes Art Importer is a nice free program to do it for you.

Type does not match message when re-linking

I just got CS3 this morning and have already made use of it to "translate" a project being done in Premiere 6 in order to do some corrective work in After Effects 7.
I've run into an error message that I'm not sure how to resolve. I've imported a Prem6 project into CS3 and some media is listed as offline. Odd, since I know they're there and working fine in Prem 6.
When I try to re-link the media, navigate to select the AVI file, then click Select, I get a message box stating:
"The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)."
The file is video only though and with a fresh empty project started, it imports into CS3 just fine.
Anyway to get around this?

Pardon me for jumping onto an old thread, but I have the same problem (except that in my case the error message is very truthful - after using only the video portion of some clips in my project, I edited the original files to be video-only AVI clips, because the audio will never be used). The reason I jumped in here is that I want to respond to this in Jeff's first reply:

I imported the video-only clips, but I can't find any Replace Asset command in PPro CS3. There is also no mention of it in the help files, and Google hits I found seem to all be talking about Encore, not PPro, with one exception that was also
a post by Jeff (I think it's the same Jeff, anyway - if I'm wrong, forgive me). It sounds like a handy command, if I can find it.
Naturally I can Alt-Drag the imported clip onto the offline placeholder in the timeline, but then it will use the first part of the clip, not start where the old one did. I could drag it to the source monitor first and set the In Point, but I would need to know where the In Point needs to be - since the clip is offline I can't tell that easily... or can I? Is there a way to determine from the offline clip placeholder what point in the original asset the placeholder's In Point was? That would be sufficient as a solution for me.
In case you are wondering, my new and old clips are exactly the same length and the same video content - the only difference is lack of audio (which I wasn't using anyway).

Album Art does not show up when using shuffle.

When I turn on shuffle in my 80gb Classic the album art does not show up.
It is about 50/50 some songs will show art and some will not. The art that did not show up the last time I shuffled will show up this time. It is not consistant. When I am not in shuffle the art always shows up just fine.
Anyone having this problem? Any ideas on how to stop this from happening? Thanks, Robert

You might also recreate your iTunes library on your computer... and then when you connect your iPod you should be presented with a dialogue asking you to erase & sync the iPod. Click the erase & sync button (provided your songs are still in iTunes).

Album art does not match songs after syncing iPhone on new iTunes

Hi,
I recently updated my iTunes to version 11.1.12. After doing so, I soon realized that the album art for my songs does not transfer to my iPhone correctly. On iTunes the album art for each song is matched correctly, but when I sync it to my phone, my phone displays artwork for other songs. So when I have song 1 and song 2, the album art for song 1 is tagged with song 2 on my iPhone...i'm very frustrated and have tried everything but a hard reset which i'm REALLY hoping I don't have to do.

I've had this same problem a couple times. First time I didn't have a clue as to cause but fixed it by unsyncing all music (removing it from phone) and resyncing it back on. This latest time the miss matched artwork occurred on albums I bought on my iPad and then sync'd to my computer and then to my iPhone. Artwork is fine on the iPad and computer (iTunes 10.0.1.22 on XP machine). Artwork shows as other albums for only new purchased albums from iPad. I haven't had time to do the unsyncing and resyncing but will do it this soon and report in to verify that it worked (or didn't). I'm hoping the artwork the iTunes couldn't find, and I did from various places on the net, will be there when I resync the music.

Art does not match Song/Artist

I sync my iPod with the home computer. Today at work it was running low on battery so I conected it to the office computer (not the same as home) just to charge, obviously not sync. I have done this several times with no issues afterwards.
After it charged, I disconnected and started using and noticed that the art displayed did not match the song. I played several songs and the same problem. I tried a soft reset, did not work.
Any ideas? Thanks!!!

I can't promise this is going to work, but you can give it a try.
1. In iTunes, select your Ipod under Devices.
2. In the Music tab, clear the Display album artwork on your iPod, and then click Apply.
3. Reselect the check box and click Apply.
This worked for me when the artwork stopped displaying.

THe sync key supplied to me by firefox does not match account when I tried to reload firefox.

I needed to reload my firefox browser. I was using sync before and I wanted to use it to reload my bookmarks ...etc... I loaded the add-on, ran setup, entered my account name and password, set up then requested sync key. I saved the html when i recieved origional key. sync setup tells me it is wrong key... i can change sync key but I lose all info in my account.. what to do?

When you cleared your history, did you select Cookies and/or Active Logins and clear those? That could explain why you are not automatically logged in.
I have not used the Zimbra mail server. However, generally speaking, when you are using webmail, you usually do not need to enter a mail server name. Usually you just have to login.
Where does the site stop working for you. Can you log in and get to the next page, or does it require you to keep trying to log in? Can you view the Inbox? Can you open individual messages? Et cetera.

I think I figured it out: Connect your ipad/iphone to your iTunes PC/MAC. In iTunes, click on the iPad/iPhone. On the "Summary" tab for your device (in iTunes), select "Sync with this iPad/iPhone over Wi-Fi". On your iPad/iphone go to "Settings", then "General". Toward the bottom you'll see "iTunes Wi-Fi Sync". Select it. Select the "Sync Now" option. It's the only option. iTunes should start syncing the missing album covers.
