Movie Download error on iPad

Have 1 one stuck on my downloads that keep reading download error every time I retry . I have reset my network setting, deleted some video space , reset all setting except content. I download amtv show and goes though just fine. The movie I want to download is stuck on this download state and can't seem to reset the download list . It downloads fine on other devices lie my iPad 2 or iPhones

You have gone through some great troubleshooting steps, but if the download is still stuck after the options you have tried, then we might need to go ahead and restore the iPad. You will want to make sure you have a good back up of your data, and you can find instructions on how to do that here:

What exactly does this mean? Your iMac doesn't authorize anything. Are you getting an error message or what message are you getting with regard to authorizing? The iPad is not authorized? What?

Bought a TV season and only some episodes downloaded where remaining had "download error" on iPad 1? Tried many times for few days with no use. Tried restarting too. Device has enough memory too!

Because of the error message, I'm not sure if any of this will work, but I suppose it's worth a shot.
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to resume the downloads.
If the TV shows appear at all in the videos app - did you try tapping and holding down on the icons to see if the X to delete pops up? Is there any evidence of the stalled downloads on the iPad in the videos app? If you could delte them, you might be able to resume the downloads.
If you live in the U.S., Canada, The UK or Australia, TV shows can be downloaded again at no charge as long as you use the same Apple ID.

Previously purchased download error on iPad

So I went kind of crazy downloading previously purchased music in iTunes onto my new iPad 2. I set over 100 songs to download, then went to watch a streaming movie. The downloads were slowing down my connection (I have kind of crappy broadband) so I paused them after 20-30 songs had finished. I forgot about it and came back a couple of days later and tried to resume the downloads one at a time, but I just get a download error that says "[Title of Song] could not be downloaded at this time." No matter how much I "tap to retry" it will not download. If I try to download other previously purchased songs that I hadn't already set to download, it works fine. If I look up the songs I'm trying to download in the Purchased section of iTunes, the songs are marked as downloaded. If I look up the songs in the Music app on my iPad, the songs and albums appear in the list, but there's no album art, and if I try to play them, it just tries to resume the download and we're back to the download error. The songs are definitely not on my iPad. Any idea what's going on and how to fix it? Syncing from my computer is not an option right now, as my iBook is so ancient I can't run a current enough version of iTunes to hook up my iPad - I set it up using my work computer, which does not have my music collection on it and needs to stay that way per company policy. I'm really hoping there's a cloud-based solution to this weirdness.

Ah-ha, okay. I figured this out, pretty much by accident. If this happens to anyone else, here's how to fix it.
In the iTunes Music app (not the store app, but where you actually play your music once it's downloaded), songs in the queue but not completely downloaded yet will have a button next to it that looks only vaguely like a stop button on a remote - a tiny square within a circle. Hitting that button cancels the download. Note that there is no way that I saw to do this within the iTunes Store. Yeesh. Apple is usually better about usability than that. But anyway, canceling the download within Music will remove the songs from the queue within iTunes Store and then the little cloud download icon will reappear beside the songs in question. The songs I have tried so far have all downloaded just fine.

Download error on ipad mini with amazon book

i have downloaded many books that i have purchased on Amazon, onto my ipad mini kindle app with no problem. This one book, however, won't download. I get a msg "Download error." not sure what to do. I can't figure out how to delete it from the ipad. Thx

Turn off any auto-update, if it is on, then tap.any of the "circle icons" showing that a download is in progress, in order to stop the download. Then go to the Settings and reset the Network Settings. After the iPad starts back up, then check to make sure no apps are currently in progress of downloading. If any are, stop them again, and reset the network settings again. When it starts up again, none should be in the process of downloading. Then from that point forward, only download manually and never more than two at a time. If it is more than 100 MB, then do only one at a time. If any gets stuck at that point, then stop the download and reset the Network settings.
That should take care of you for now. We'll see what another update brings ... IOS 8.2 (which might be the next one).

Apple TV - Deleting an incomplete direct HD Movie download - error (-50)

Purchased 2 movies at the same time - HD Movie format direct to my Apple TV. One downloaded and watched OK, the other had a download error (-50) and every time I try re-downloading it ( on both the "resume" and "check for downloads"areas) , same error is evident - Seems to me the only way is to delete this incomplete and download again (hopefully I won't pay again?)
How do I do this? any other solutions welcome?

You may have to delete the cached download from the location below.

I am new here, so I hope you might help me! I bought few days ago iPhone 5S and I purchased a movie via iTunes on my iPhone. Unfortunately while it was downloading (5GB of 5.5GB) my iPhone turned off and I had to plugged him to charger. After he turned on I tried to download it again from iTunes, but he was starting from the beginning... and on my iPhone there is 5GB less space because of older data of undownloaded movie...
Does anyone know how I can delete this 5GB from iPhone that is used by undwonloaded movie? !

It sounds like you have an extra 5 GB taken up by an incomplete download. I recommend the troubleshooting from the following article to check for a pending download in the iTunes store and resume it, or delete it if needed:

If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.
If it is not here to resume or get rid of, I would next close all the running apps on the phone:

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

Movie download error (8008)

I've seen a number of threads on this error dating back to 2008 but nobody seems to have found a solution to this problem on the Apple TV (v1 - not the new small black one). It seems if you get the error using iTunes you are advised to remove the partially downloaded file from the downloads folder and that usually clears up the problem. However using Apple TV you do not have access to the file system and cannot delete files.
So, I've powered off the Apple TV, powered it back on, tried clicking on Downloads many times and it repeats the same download error (8008) while the movie (The kids are alright) is stuck at 76% downloaded. All other features of the Apple TV appear to be working normally.
Can anyone suggest a way to resolve this probm on the Apple TV?

Movie Download Error - Network Connection Resetting

I've tried to download The Shaggy Dog at least nine times on two different wireless routers; three different computers; via both McAfee and Norton as well as with all virus/firewalls turned off. I've tried it through the wireless router and through an ethernet. I've deleted all *.tmp files and tried again. No luck.
iTunes shows error -3253 which is a "connection reset" message.
What could be wrong? I do not have any privacy software installed. I was able to download other files; although I had intermittent problems with a 30 minute episode of "The Office".
I should get a refund or get this movie for free given the hours I've spent messing around trying to download.
I'm not sure whether to purchase anything else from Apples again - not knowing if I'll be able to download the files.
How do I get some help directly from Apple?
Extremely frustrated.

Movie download error. How do I download the movie?

I have this movie on my ipad for some time now and I cannot download it... error... how do I delete it and start over?

I experienced a similar issue with 10.6.8 and iTunes 11.
Several questions:
1. What version of iTunes are you using?
2. Is your iTunes library located on a network drive or a local drive?
3. What error are you getting during the download?
4. Do you have the ability to try and download the extras file on a different computer?

Movie download errored out

I was redeeming two digital downloads, "Tranformers Dark of the moon" and "The Lincoln Lawyer", both of them downloaded completely but at the end I received an error stating there was not enough "space" to save them. I went to Store - Check for Available Downloads like the message said and that was unsuccessful. I attempted to re-enter my redemption code and it says it has already been used and can only be used once. Both of the transactions are listed in My Account - Purchase History but they are not on my computer. Can the download be re-enabled so I can redeem the aforementioned movies?

Conserve space on iPad
You should download movies to iTune (computer) and only sync them to iPad as and when you want to watch them.
After watching the movies, you can unsync the movie to make space for the next one.

Movie download error

Hello
I bought a movie " The Help" from Itune store and for the past month the download is stuck at 906.3MB out of 4.89GB !!!
I have tried to delete it but it always come back but never finishes the download. Can anybody help me please ? I would like to to either
delete the download for good or restart it from the beginning.

Code 3260 = Network Connection Refused. I fixed this problem....I think Norton was interferring with download of movie from itunes......however, I thought I had it fixed and was finished downloading when i got another error message...#3259. I think it said something about session timed out. Clicked on the movie and the message disappered....anyone know what I should do now to complete the download of a movie that is taking FOREVER! I have act of valor movie and entered redemption code. When downloading there was an error with itunes downloading and it stopped. Now itunes does not show purchased in the itunes store and I cant use the code again..how do I fix or reset?
