Movie Download starting over and over

So now I'm downloading Django Unchained for like 3-4 hours and every time it hits 2 GB it just starts downloading again. I already deleted the temporary download files and i also changed my internet security option level to extremely insecure so that everything can pass, but still it justs starts downloading again and again without an error

PS: I also have 100 GB of free space on my hard drive and I'm posting here because I waited for the Live chat a whole hour but nobody came.

Video download starts over repeatedly...

Yesterday I bought Babylon 5, season 1, and I'm on a sloooooow connection, so I paused all the episodes except the first one (1 hour 33 minutes of video, iTunes said it'd take about 12 hours to download). I went to work and came home that night, and it was almost done. It got to the part where it said "processing file" and then started over from the beginning. I didn't have time to mess around with it then, so I let it download again while I was asleep, and then this morning it did the same thing. It's on its 3rd time through right now.
Is anyone else having this problem?

You can use whatever browser and download manager you normally use. Once downloaded, install it as any other software.
However, if the connection is bad and slow, there's a chance that the file will be corrupted during download. You might have to try several times. Use https instead of http, and compare the downloaded file's checksum with Apple's. Here's how

Downloads starting over

is there anyway to make it so downloads will automatically pause when interrupted? i've attempted to download an ipad update about 5 times now. i'm on a very slow DSL and the 800 megs is taking about 3 hours, and something keeps interrupting it and i've had to start from the beginning. the computer going to sleep was the first culprit, then after i disabled that a windows update rebooted the computer, then the laptop got shut etc.
its hard to keep a big download uninterrupted for several hours, so i was wondering if it was normal for the download to have to start from the beginning every time or if it should be "pausing" to be resumed later. im on itunes 10.7 attempting to download ipad 5.1.1

Many (most?) web servers don't support resuming of downloads, so if you stop the download in any way, it will have to start over again. The web is not the same as iTunes.

It downloaded about half way before it stopped and completely started over and now it won't download at all.

I managed to find the rest of the movie by going to View in task bar for Safari Browser and going to "show downloads" and in there was the movie on pause. I have no idea how it got to this point but I was just glad to fins it finally. Itunes should think about coming up with something to make it easier for the novice to re find a paused movie that falls off the earth the way this one did. It took me almost 45 minutes of screwing around to find the movie. Just by placing a click on that said rented movies or something like this it would make it a whole lot easier to see the movie that just disappears this way. Hope this helps someone.

MTS converted to MOV/MP4 start lagging and sometimes appear like waves everytime any object move in video

Hey there, I want to ask and need your help. I just convert a MTS file to mov. And it suddenly ruin everything in my Macbook Pro. I was convert it to mov, but when I play it back on my Mac/windows, its lag and sometimes the picture like waving everytime any object move in video. And then start from that, all my video file become green screen. But when I play, it works, its not green but lag/waving picture. I tried to put in to my premier pro, and it starts affecting another footage file. After the render, all footages become waving. Do you have any Idea why it happens? I've been doing this for the last 10 months but this is the first time it happens to me and my video.

Why does one movie rental start immediately and another after 15 hrs?

Yesterday I rented a movie, actually two, via Apple TV2 and both started immediately and ran to finish without interruption. Today , after that experience, II tried to rent another movie and apple tv 2 tells me it will be ready in 15 hours. What is the deal? can I get out of the rental, is thre any way to tell in advance of renting when it could be viewed? This makes movie rentals on Apple TV impractical.

I have BT Infinity 2 Fibre Optic Broadband with over 40Mbs download speed,
I have closed all internet accessing applications ie. Safari, Mail
and yet over 3 hours to download a single movie.

I recently rented some movies, mostly downloaded, started watching, and then itunes crashed, and both the rentals are gone!

so i rented two movies, one was 90% done, i sttarted watching and itunes crashed 30 minutes in, i opend back up and that rental was gone, i went back to watch another one, got 30 minues in, and then that one crashed, and same scenario! Please help me get hem back!

Did you have your iPhone connected and selected in iTunes?
In Music tab:
Is Sync Music selected?
Is Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres selected?
Is the new playlist selected under Playlists?

Where are movie downloads stored? And can I delete them after watching?

I downloaded a show to my Android & wanted to move it from internal storage to my sd card but i cannot find where the show is being stored so I can delete after Im done watching... Where is it?

Major problem with a movie download

i bought a movie and started to download it and i paused the download so i could go back and contiue downloaking it later because i didnt have time, then i opened itunes back up and it wasn't there and i found the file on my computer and i tried to open it but nothing happened what should i do?

Look for a folder called "Downloads" in your iTunes Music folder. If there is such a folder, look for files that would be the partial download and delete that so that the download starts over from the beginning. Then try again using the "Check for Available Downloads" command under the iTunes Store menu.
If that doesn't work, contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of their web page and explain the problem to them.

Creating a Simple Flash Movie With Poster Frame and Play/Pause Buttons

Hi, It's been over a year since I played with Flash last, and
I have completely forgotten everything I learned.
I have a .flv file which I want to play on my website. It
should display a poster frame when the page load, and not autoplay
the movie. It should have the play button I made in photoshop
sitting on top of the poster frame. When pressed, the movie should
start playing and the button should be shifted for the pause button
I made in PS (it should work just like the play/pause button in
iTunes). When the movie has finished playing, it should jump back
to the poster frame.
I have tried using the flvplayback component and also played
around with just embedding the flv directly and inserting a play
and pause button from the common library, but I can't seem to get
it to work. With the flvplayback component I have managed most of
it apart from using my own buttons and getting the poster frame to
work (which apparently has to be done with Action script).
Any help appreciated.

Which version of Flash/actionscript are you using? Since you
are just starting out, you should read one of Adobe's tutorials on
the matter. Either use Flash Help to find examples on how to use
Flash or go to their website. Here is a great tutorial for someone
just starting out. Make sure you read all three tutorials in "Using
Flash for the first time".
