Movie has a stutter and it traces itself, WHY?

I am having an issue when I view my movie on a computer it is fine but when I put it on a DVD it stutters and has a trace of itself after it.
I am using a mp2 and a.pack/dolby file and it is at the standard apple bit rate.
I don't get why this is like this, this is the last issue and I can finalize it and I need to get this done by Tuesday.
I appreciate any help on this subject, I would think it is simple but what do I know.

Are you using Compressor to make an m2v and ac3 file (was not sure)
If you are just changing the prefs in DVD SP it will not change things.
I thought you were doing it outside of DVD SP
Are you dragging the encode files into the asset window? Not quite sure why a valid m2v is not importing
Let's step back a second and if you can list everything you are doing in order, such as
1.) Shot DV on a Sony
2.) Imported into Final Cut
3.) Exported as
etc.
and whether the export looks good in QT or are you seeing a stutter there? I thought that the disc was stalling or stuttering, as oppossed to the footage itself(?) What type of footage and where are you seeing stutters? Camera pans/zooms? When race cars zoom by (or some sort of action)? When people are just talking.
All these little bits and pieces may help put together what may be going on

  • Autoplay movie has ragged edges and pixelated

Why I added an autoplay movie when everything was working I don't know. Everything was fine.
Before adding conent to the autoplay section the menu, scenes, everything burned nicely on pro setting, 110 minutes per disk nice quality. I wanted to add a short 10 sec movie to auto play when the dvd was inserted, I'll call this movie the tag.
I made up the tag animation in Flash at 30 fps, sized to 768 x 576 pixels, then saved it as a quicktime movie. I opened the .mov file into iMovieHD and saved it as a iMovie file. Went into iDVD added the iMovie tag to the autoplay section in the map view. Ripped, burned ok.
When I tested the DVD in my older Pioneer (DV-333) dvd player I get a large boxes, stalling ragged edge picture in the autoplay portion only. The rest of the dvd plays great. Tried my neighbours newer pioneer dvd player and the DVD wouldn't play at all. The DVD plays normally in my G4 and G3 - pismo using apple DVD player.
So close to finished and yet so far.

The autoplay is ok at a lower frame rate (12fps) in Flash. I may later redo the Flash movie with full wide screen instead of the 768x576 resolution.
so I the made up the animation in Flash exported to qt.mov
    iMovie to iDVD. Looks good.

  • My iPhone volume seems to increase and decrease by itself, why

Why does my iPhone 5s' volume increase and decrease by itself when connected via bluetooth to headphones, speakers, etc?

Do you have your Facebook app open when this is happening? Or any other app that gets live Notifications? If so, close them when listening to music. The Notifications being pushed to your device will lower the volume momentarily as they arrive.
    Cheers,

  • HT1918 my credit card has been declined and i dont know why

all of a sudden apple keeps saying "your payment method has been declined" ive had my apple account almost 2years and never had a problem so why now?

You've checked the purchase history on your account (Store > View My Account, Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11, menu option on your computer's iTunes), and have you made any in-app purchases or have any auto-renewing subscriptions ?  If not  then you can contact iTunes support via this page amd see if they can help : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • I just have the option of books and apps, but not music and movies both on itunes and iOs devices.. why?

in the itunes 10.5 preference and in the iOS 5 preferences (store) I can just select apps and books, no music and movies.... anybody knows why?

For anyone still wondering about this, reports today are that the UK won't see music in the cloud until Q1 2012 as negotiations have only just start with the Perfoamnce Rights Society. Slightly strange that licenses weren't done on a global level but it may be cash related. Apple apparently gave $150m to universal alone in advances

  • 2nd Gen Apple TV - movies start to stutter after approx 10 minutes

Hi - i've been using the 1st gen Apple TV without problems for years and just switched to the new model. I am running a wired network connected to an apple airport extreme router. Everything works fine with the old apple TV but when i try to watch local iTunes content with the new apple TV, the content start to stutter like crazy after approximately 10 to 15 minutes. When i plug in the old apple TV and try to play the same content, everything works like a charm. So it must be something related to the new model and has nothing to do with my setup, which works perfectly with the old device.
I've noted that the stutter seems to start as soon or shortly after the whole movie has been fully "cached" onto the device. When this happens i have to jump out of the movie, pick it again and then i can watch just fine until the whole movie has loaded again and the whole stuttering problem starts again.
This is driving me nuts. I've gone back to the old device until Apple can fix the problem. Does anyone have the same issues ?
    Thanks
    Marc

Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice.

  • So I have a file on my desktop and I cannot open it, move it to a folder, or delete it from my mac. I dont know what it has in it, and that makes me suspicious. What can I do to remove this unremovable file from my computer? Is it a virus?

First, I would recommend repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility.
If that doesn't fix the problem, there's a very dangerous command you can execute in the Terminal.  This is very hazardous, because a simple typo can result in very drastic consequences.  I have seen people erase their entire hard drive by putting a space in the wrong place!  So, please follow the directions I'm going to give you very carefully!
Open the Terminal, which is found in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder.  In the Terminal, enter the following:
    sudo rm -f
Make sure to put a space after the "-f"!  Then, drag the troublesome file from the Finder and drop it on the Terminal window.  That should insert the path to the file in the command.  Then go back to the Terminal and press return.  You will be asked for your password, and when you type it, nothing will be shown as a security measure.  Press return again after entering your password.  The file should be deleted.

  • Just upgraded to 10.7 - cannot play movies or TV programs - iTunes freezes and Windows states iTunes has stopped working and kicks me out - play audio OK, store and synching to devices OK.

Running Windows Vista Home Premium - Service Pack2
iTunes has always worked beautifully - opened it yesterday and said upgrade was available so I did and upgrade seemed to be successful - no errors and program launches and all my music, TV programs, Movies, etc, were there. Audio works well.  Tonight I tried to play a movie and got the Windows iTunes has stopped working and searching for solution (which there is none) and closing the warning box closes iTunes.  iTunes used to launch a "separate" black window for my movies/TV - I seemed to get  a black background before everything freezes.  Not happy.  Thanks for any help - I tried to upgrade quicktime just to make sure it wasn't lagging behind the iTunes upgrade but that didn't help.
