A couple of months ago I bought the new Harry Potter movie. Inside was a promo for a free copy of it for my ipod. I downloaded it successfully while on my ipod touch. I then plugged the ipod into itunes and itunes said I was not able to play the movie and it wont let me import it onto my ipod at all. What should I do?

What is the Operating system of your NEW computer ? Autorun can be very nasty if you put in something which has virus(es). We also need to know what is your computer to be able to find out all software which come with the machine.

Spry Accordion Jerky/Jumping movement Issues in IE

I am having a difficult time trying to debug the accordion in IE. You can see the accordion here in IE I am having two issues.
1. When at the top of the site and clicking on a tab to open it jumps down the page as if it were an anchor point, and I find this very annoying.
2. The movement below the tab clicked is jumping around and this also is incredibly annoying to me, its more subtle than the above issue but it still bothers me. I am having this issue in GC as well.
I have searched quite a few forums and have not found a solution for this but this must be a fairly common issue? I am not that familaur with spry yet this is my first real project using it so my knowledge is very limited to this point. This dose work perfect in FF.

I will put together a gutted version of this and send it over if you have the time that would be fantastic. Making a gutted version may be the best thing at this point so I can slowly add stuff back and see what causes the problem. If i cant fix it by doing that I will zip and send the files.

Video/Movie issues with multiple applications

I originally posted this question in the Quicktime Forum, but I realize it's not just a Quicktime issue, so I thought maybe I should check here?
I have Quicktime Pro 7.6.2 and when I try to export a FLV to a MOV, there is no sound.
I DO also have Perian.
When I try to play a file in VLC (FLV, MOV) the status bar in VLC looks like it is moving, but there is nothing playing - no sound, no picture.
I downloaded MPEG Streamline and any URL's I try to open, I get an error saying "File Open Error: Can't Open The File".

No errors have come up when I repair permissions and the last thing I did was 'Repair Disk' - the HD - with my install disk, no errors came up, it said "The Volume on the Macintosh Appears to be Ok".
Oh, and my connection is the fastest speed available on our DSL.
Here is the link to my post on the Quicktime forum, but since VLC and MPEG Streamline aren't working either, I don't think it's just a Quicktime issue??
I would GREATLY appreciate any help, I'm at a total loss!!!??

Good Movement issue in SAP retail ITS

Hi All,
Business is posting goods movement using SAP retail store ITS. The document gets posted in SAP successfully but storage location is not coming correct for a movement type. We have checked the configuration and it is fine. We are not able to replicate the issue in test systems.
Kindly help us on how we can able to find a cause of this issue.

Hi John,
Retail Store Application is desinged in such a way that for the movement type,the default storage location for the destination plant is automatically taken.
But you can modify the code as per your requirments by implementing the given BAdI.
CALL METHOD exit_gr_field->CHECK_INPUT_GR_item
Modify the field for stroage location W_UMLGO .

IPhone movie issues

I have 3.1.3 version of Aperture and am running Lion. Since the upgrade movies I shoot on the iPhone are showing in Aperture as "Unsupported Video Format" and I cannot view them.
I have an iMac 3.3ghz with 4mb ram

Not sure if you are still suffering from this problem, but I had a similar issue, and tracked it down to the files being imported from a shared folder. If the shared folder has any Access control list set up, or the permissions aren't quite right (including some that you can only change yourself in Terminal like permission to Execute), then the video will import but appears to be unsupported.
An easy work around is to move the file to one of your personal directories into a library also in your private directory. If you are actually looking to share your library, then I had to set up a new partition and set it to 'Ignore permissions'. It then worked absolutely fine - also resolved some corruption issues I sometimes got with the shared library.

Paste / Move issue in all Android file manager ports

So as everyone here knows a proper file manager is a must for every single OS and the PB doesn't pack one out of the box.
Air Browser seems to be the only free native one but it doesn't allow to browse outside "/accounts/1000/ shared" and the UI could be improved imho (not a fan of how the author split the different operations menu in 3 depending on it involving files, folders or cache... plus it lack multiple folder selection). So as a complement I use Ghost Commander which is available in App World.
Last week I tried to use Ghost commander as my sole file manager only to discover it can't copy / move files in "/accounts/1000/ shared". Then I tried most Android file managers available in App World only to find out they have the same issue!
Here's what I mean:
1- Using any Android ported file manager copy/cut/paste a pdf, doc, xls... form/to a folder inside "/accounts/1000/ shared". Example
2- Aparently the file is moved to the desired folder. Example
3- Now open it... Example
4- Regardless the file type (I tried a pdf here) the associated you will only get an error message stating the path isn't valid... Example
The time I tried this I was moving a folder with docs using Ghost Commander and afterwards it seemed as if I had lost my files (couldn't open them in the device and couldn't see them in my computer when I connected the PB)!
The only way I found I could recover them was:
1- Using any Android file manager copy the files to anywhere inside "/sdcard". Example
2- Using AIr Browser (didn't try any other native file manager since they are paid) go to /misc/android/folder_where_you_copied_the_files_to and copy them to any folder outside "misc". Example
Thanks for the scare RIM! Makes me wonder if any proper testing is done to the apps before these are acepted in BBAW.
Don't know if this is an issue caused by the emulator, the sandboxing process or if it's an issue in the way all the Android apps were coded... But it must be fixed.
As every single bug report I wrote here before I ask any informed user / mod /developer who reads this to send it to the right person and to inform me on how how I can do so correctly the next time.

Quick Time movies [MOV] issue

I have movies already in QT format [short digital camera movies], I believe they are .MOV files, and when I convert them to the .MP4 format my iTunes will play them, but when I try to load them to my 5G iPod they won't download. The error is that they can not be played on my iPod.
Any ideas?

I'm pasting this from the Videora site, the settings worked for me when others didn't, enjoy:
Configuring videora converter
0) Start Videora iPod converter.
1) Click setup in the left nav.
1.5) Click the profiles tab.
2) Click new profile.
3) Now, configure that profile:
profile name: ipod
in the video settings section...
mode: MPEG-4 > CBR
resolution: 320x240
passes: one
bitrate: 768 kbps (384 kbps also works)
framerate: 29.97 fps
in the audio settings section...
bitrate: 128 kbps
sample rate: Input
channels: stereo
4) Click apply to save the profile.
Now, you're ready to transcode.
1) Click convert on the left nav.
2) Click the transcode new video button.
3) Pick your source video. Mine was an AVI from a torrent.
4) Under quality profile, choose "ipod", the profile you created using the steps above.
5) Click start.
Now you're ready to get the video on your ipod
1) In iTunes, under the File menu, select add file to library. Find the transcoded one. By default, the transcoded videos pop out under the Videora install directory.
2) Drag and drop to your ipod.
Questions/observations:
1) I haven't been able to get H264 anything to work. Is it broken? How much smaller than MPEG4 is it?
2) 768 kbps video was about 400 megs/hour; 384 kbps video was about 231 megs/hour. I could readily see a difference in video quality.

Material Movements Issue

and we are not using revaluations UM.
Now for Ex the query is asking for inputs
Material, Plant(Optional), Keydate for Data Selection.
based on the key date for user enters (Example 01.02.2009 to 16.02.2009) we need to get the closing stock on 16.02.2009 and opening stock on 01.02.2009.
We have field Zclosing in which we have closing stock for that material on the day of trasantion.

Use Valuated stock qty - 0VALSTCKQTY Key ffigure and restrict with 0CALDAY and give constant value
31.01.2009, for opening stock, because 31 Jan 09 closing stock is oprning stock for Feb 09.
And then for Closing stock Valuated stock qty - 0VALSTCKQTY and restrict it 0CALDAY and give Variable entry by user or for testing gibe constant value 16.02.2009 and check it.
Check the values with ECC in MB5B and becasreful while executing it i ECC. Select Storage Location/Batch Stock and give storage loaction and dates and execute it. And check it with BW report Opening and closing stock in MB5B give Date from 01.02.2009 to 16.02.2009

Mailbox Move Issues and Errors - Exchange 2010 to 2013

I'm trying to move mailboxes from 2010 to 2013, but I'm experiencing a lot of issues.
My move batches keep hanging (stalled) for minutes and hours on end, and I can't seem to keep them going consistently.
I have two DAG's, one for Archive boxes, and one for Primary mailboxes. Each DAG has three members with DB copies of each DB. The npdes and the clusters themselves are up and healthy. However, at random some of the DB's Content Index state will go to Failed
or SuspendedandFailed. At which point I force a catalog refresh and DB index update, and it goes to healthy.
I've created the "ContentSubmitters" AD group (and assigned it permissions), reset the Search and Host controller services on each server, and restarted the Replication service. I also deleted and recreated the Index for each DB prior to restarting
services. No dice. I've also already moved the system mailboxes over to the 2013 databases.
I'm also getting some "Transient" errors in the user move log, things like this:
Transient error ResourceUnhealthyException has occurred. The system will retry"

I would suggest you to run the below command for this "My move batches keep hanging (stalled) for minutes and hours on end" issue and see the result
Get-MoveRequest -Identity "Mailbox Name" | Get-MoveRequestStatistics -IncludeReport | FL Report
Just check if the MRS health is fine by running the below command
Test-MRSHealth -Identity "CAS Server" -MonitoringContext $true | Export-CliXml "C:\temp\CAS_MRSHealth.xml" and look at the xml file to get more information
When I run the Test command against either of my CAS servers, I get: " 'EXCH1' does not have the right Exchange Server version or role required to support this operation."
Run i run that command against any of the mailbox servers, it completes and generates the XML file, but I'm not sure what I need to be looking for within that file.
The first command spits out a ton of data, here's a little excerpt:

.mov issues in FCE HD (urgent!)

I really hope someone can help me out tonight, I'm editing a video for a contest my school is entering, and the deadline is tomorrow - I'm basically letting the whole school down if I don't get this in, so yeah in a bit of a panic right now...
Here's the situation:
* I captured about 30 video clips using quicktime pro with a video camera hooked up by firewire
* transfered the resulting .mov files to an external hard drive
* connected that to a computer with FCE version 1, imported the clips to FCE, and started a bit of editing (just pulling out parts of clips and putting them in the timeline)
* switched computers, so that i'm now trying to continue the project on a computer running FCE HD
The problem is, after converting the project file to the HD format like it requested (I did save it as a copy though), I'm getting "general error" (no number after it) when I try to play some of the clips in the viewer. Bits of those clips that are already in the timeline (from when I was working on the other computer) play without audio when I render them (I did no rendering on the other computer, so all rendering is being done by FCE HD). The clips that will play in the viewer, also have audio when their excerpts are played in the timeline. It seems totally random as to which files have issues and which don't.
Please help me!!!

edit - by the way the clips that won't play audio still show the audio as unrendered (the red bar) no matter how many times I render them...also the files play fine in quicktime...

Uh oh.
Not quite fixed. Turns out I need to be able to somehow MERGE the tracks - deleting the one marked 0 just gets rid of all sound in the first part of the file (also some files have more than one "extra" track). Apperently those numbers are the timecode the audio starts, not the duration. Oops. I now have several clips without audio for the first however many minutes..... * bangs head *
I have copies of all the files, but they're at school and I can't get them until morning. But in any case I still havent solved the problem really, just gotten a clue as to what makes the bad and good ones different....
If anyone's up and reading this - thoughts?

Hi,
Normally system will not Allow any Goods Movement when the Order has CRTD status (Creation stage).
However u can overcome this by doing allowed Goods MVt for status at CRTD at BS22.
It will afftect all the Plants & order types globally ,
As i know your requirement is not possible .

Placing Background move issue - Live type

I'm having trouble with placing a background movie in live type. I encoded a 5 second movie in HDV 1080i60... I've set my project properties to HDV1080i60 and when I place the movie in the background it squeezes it to 4:3. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

Thanks Christina. I've set my project properties to 1080i60 and encoded my video using compressor and using a Quicktime conversion. they both output the correct file. my canvas in LIve Type is set to the 1080i60 but when I place the movie it snaps to what looks like a 4:3 format.
When I check my project props after placement, the size switches to "custom" but still retains the 1440 x 1080 width and height.
Thanks for your quick response to my issue by the way... I 'm still not clear as to what is happening. I was able to use the "place" options instead of "place background movie"....my canvas stayed at the 16:9 ratio but my video was somewhat narrower. I used the transform capabilities (the handles on the placed video) of the video and the canvas as a guide and just sized it to the right ratio.

Export Movie issues

I am having 2 issues with a video which I've edited and corrected the way I want it, and intend to send to DVD Pro.
my (intended) workflow is: FC Studio > export as QT Movie > DVD Pro
the 2 issues I'm having are:
when I can successfully export the movie, the type looks TERRIBLE! It looks fine in FCP, but lousy when I preview in QT. The video was shot in 16:9, not HD. Even when I adjust the clip to be 16:9 in QT pro, the type STILL looks terrible. **This is type I inserted using FCP's own type tools, and fonts which are installed on my machine.
Issue 2 is that sometimes, when exporting, I'll get a progress bar that tells me the exporting will take ever more time. It'll say 19 minutes, then 10 minutes later it's up in the 40 minute range, then 45 mins, etc.
I have successfully exported the movie in the past, and it has taken about 39 minutes. Then, you know, you always see something you want to change, which requires another exporting.
I have plenty of free hard disc space for what I'm trying to do.
Any thoughts on either issue?

1. Don't judge you titles on anything but a broadcast television monitor.
2. Make sure that your sequence is fully rendered before exporting.

Screen share movie issues (Mac)

I'm trying to stream a movie to my friend by using screen share and my computer's Dvd Player but when they try to view the Dvd screen it just shows up as a grey/white checkerboard for them however they can hear it. I don't understand why it's doing this and it seems like many other people have had these issues in the past. Please help us. We were so excited to finally be able to watch movies together and now we can't.

.mov issue in FCP

Hello,
I am working with .mov files that I exported out of an animation program. For some reason when I play the files in FINAL CUT STUDIO, FCP seems to do something with the layers. It's as if it alters them somewhat... for example if I have some writing on a wall in the animation, and the wall is white, it appears black in FCS.
Is this a setting issue in FCP?

sounds like in your animation program you had the background set White, whereas in FCP you have it set Black ... consequently in FCP your animation's alpha channel (transparency) shows as black
try this ... select the clip, then choose Modify > Alpha Type > White

HT3209 iTunes HD movies issue?

Ok I'm more than a little cheesed with iTunes at present Until today I've had no issues downloading HD movies (in fact I downloaded 3 prior to the latest software update) and then all of a sudden iTunes now thinks my Macbook Pro Retina is NOT capable of showing HD films?!? Well thanks iTunes but I tend to disagree - hopefully this will be fixed very soon, but in the meantime does anyone have a work-around? Cheers

I had the same problem when I bought Star Trek Into Darkness. I want a HD copy on my PC mainly just to stream it to my Apple TV through Airplay, but I can only download the SD version, even though I bought HD.
