Movie needs to be located

I bought a movie on itunes 2 years ago, and it is now showing up with an ! next to it.
It is telling me to locate it but I boguht it on itunes, it won't download to any of my families devices but has somehow stayed on my brothers ipod, any ideas of how to get it ont he other ones or locate it?

The ! indicates that the file is not where iTunes expects it to be. Either the file has been moved or deleted. If it has simply been moved, then tell iTunes where to find it now.
If it has been deleted, hopefully there is a backup of the file that can be restored.
Movies are single download, as such, there is no expectation that it will ever download on any computer beyond the initial download.

if you do iTunes > Preferences> Advanced you can change the location of where your music is stored. Click on change location and direct it to your external hard drive. Of course, your external hard drive will need to be connected to your computer to play the music.
When you moved your music to an external hard drive, did you copy the folders or move the folder off your computer completely? I copied the folders, and left iTunes folder in my Music folder and all seems to work fine. one hitch can be is that your Library in iTunes will list all of your content, but if you have some albums on the hard drive of your computer and some on your external hard drive, iTunes will need to be told where to locate these files.

Instead of removing the music from the cloud or the iTunes library why not shuffle your music using a Smart Playlist which excludes the holiday music, or tracks that are not checked. For example, use this very simple Smart Playlist:

The Find My IPhone app is used to find OTHER lost devices, it does nothing to make your device "findable". To make it findable, you must turn on "Find My IPhone" in settings. And than you need location services on. This however does not guarantee that you'll always find it if lost. A thief can set it to factory settings, even remove the sim card. Then it'll be unfindable.

Directory change - files need to be located

i recently disconnected by external drives containing all my media and then re-connected them, but the drive identifications changed (changed from f: to g: etc). So now all of my music files in iTunes need to be located. Is there a way iTunes can mass locate all the tunes?

Hi, welcome to Apple Discussions.
With iTunes closed backup your main iTunes library file. This is normally at *..\<Documents>\<Music>\iTunes\iTunes Library.itl*. Just make a copy at say C:\ in case the next steps don't work.
Start iTunes and open the preferenecs dialog *Edit > Preferences...*
In the Advanced tab edit the location of the *iTunes Media Folder*, changing F:\ to G: or as required.
iTunes may spend some time processing, either now or when next restarted. Either way when it has finished, close iTunes, give it some time to finish saving files and then reopen. Don't cancel or interrupt any dialogs it displays. When iTunes has finished reopening it should be able to find all your tracks.
If that doesn't work restore your backup and reassign the drive letters so your media is back where it used to be.

What did you use to download it with? iPad? iPhone? Computer?
If it's an iPad/iPhone, play it using the videos app.
If on the computer, look on the left side of iTunes in the library under movies.

How do I move my iTunes library location?

Hello, I am trying to move my iTunes library file location from my internal HD into an external HD.
I read a lot of topics within this community regarding this topic, and nothing worked for me...
I copied my entire itunes folder into the new location.
Then I opened iTunes with option key pressed, and selected the new iTunes folder in the new location.
When I tried to play a song, it asked me to locate it, and when I located it, itunes asked me if I want this new location for everything else missing, I said yes, but it does not find any other song, I need to locate one song at a time, and it is quite boring.
What can I do? What I am doing wrong?
Any ideas? I still need to change my iTunes library file location because I do not have more space in my MacBook's HD

Move Database From one location to another in same Server

I am using 11 g R2 in OEL 5.
I have installed my database inside oracle base /TEST_DB. Here i have oracle home and datafiles directories etc as usual.
But i need to move this to /UAT/TEST_DB and run the oracle home and database form there.
Is this cloning procedure is enough :- *Cloning An Existing Oracle11g Release 2 (11.2.0.x) RDBMS Installation Using OUI [ID 1221705.1]*
or this is only for Oracle_Home??? If so please tell me how to move both the database and the oracle home.

I did this just a week ago, or so. You don't need to clone the instance.
There's a pretty good description on how to do this here:

However, after doing the steps outlined here, you're still having the same ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_BASE. Do the following:
SQL> alter system create pfile from spfile;and manually change the relevant parameters in the newly created pfile to reflect the changes you're about to do (dump_dest etc..)
Shut down the instance, move all files in your ORACLE_HOME to the new location, and change all relevant environment variables.
connect to your idle instance in the new ORACLE_HOME, and do
SQL> startup pfile=/path/to/your/pfileand after the instance has started correctly, do
SQL> create spfile from pfile;All done!

Will changing the partition of the Home Folder automatically move files from old location?

I want to change the home folder for my users. Currently they are saving to the C: drive and using up the space on the root drive. There is a D: partition that has 774 GB free, so I would like to move use directories over to a new Home

Did you use the group policy to set the user home folder?
As Ahmed MALEK mentioned, a user account is moved from one location to another in AD the users home drive setting is not automatically updated as its a static configuration on the users account. You need to manually move the file to the new location.

Restricting Authorization for movement types for Storage Location

I have a requirement that 313 & 315 material movements should not have any BBD/SLED check.However , 314 & 316 should have BBD/SLED check.
Suppose there are two storage locations : A(Good Stock) & B(Blocked Stock).
I want one User-ID should be authorized to perform 313 & 315 from A to B.However the same USER-ID should not be authorized to perform 313 & 315 from B to A.They should be authorized only to perform 314 & 316 from B to A.
All the above trasnactions will be performed either via MIGO or via MB1B.
How to achieve this.Pls suggest.

You can try by creating 2 roles as given below.
Role A - Tcode Migo
BWART - 313 and 315
for object M_MSEG_LGO field LGORT - give only A
Role B - Tcode Migo
BWART - 314 and 316
for object M_MSEG_LGO field LGORT - give only B
Try assigning both the roles to user and see... Not 100% sure...but u can try out.... You need to have such scenarios tested very thoroughly.

Some of my songs suddenly need to be located

Ive been using my iTunes for a few months now without a single problem. Two days ago I opened iTunes and suddenly some of my songs could not longer be located. A dialog box opened asking me if I would like to locate them myself, and I had no trouble finding them (in my shared folder). But, its a very long process finding each individual song. Is there another way for this problem to be solved? Why did this happen?
Also, for reference, I do not recall making any changes to my iMac or iTunes that would cause this to happen.

I was wondering if your answer for Sarah applied to my situation ?
I save my iTunes music on an external drive in folders labeled Backup Disc 1, 2... up to 24. each folder I allow to get to 4.2 GB than start a new save location in iTunes (for DVD back up purposes).
I have alot of playlists sorted etc.
I need to move my music folders to another external drive.
Would the same apply but I'd have to do it for each folder ? (loading itunes & holdin down ALT 24 times).
Any help is appreciated.

The steps are correct but you've left out the one that adjusts the 2 through 9 movies position as compared to the others.
The first video would hold a position of 0,0 (upper left). When you add the second video you need to adjust its "offset" to position it next to but not overlapping the first. Since your videos are 100X75 you would set the offset of the second track too 100,0 (100 pixels to the right of the original and 0 pixels different in height). The third would be 200,0 offset.
On the second row your first file would be 0,75 (75 pixels below the upper video). The second file on the second row would be offset 100,75 and the third would be 200,75.
The third row would be 0,150 followed by 100,150 and 200,150.
You could add a slight "border" between each video and give it a color by using the bgcolor="your color" (standard html color codes) and adding that space by adjusting the offset plus your border width in pixels. Hollywood Squares style of video.
