"Movie not loaded" for some sites, IE9, FlashPlayer 11, Win Vista

Hello. I am having an issue here with Internet Explorer 9, FlashPlayer 11, and Windows Vista. Latest versions of Adobe Flash and Shockwave players as well. Windows update is completely up-to-date and Java is at the latest version too.
When attempting to access some websites, a grey or "invisible" box will be in place where there is supposed to be Flash content. If you right click this, it will say "Movie not loaded"
It does not do this for all web sites, however. YouTube works, so does the little animation that displays over top of the "Adobe Flash Platform" under Products on the Flash web site.
However, when havingating to the "About Adobe Flash" web site within the Flash web site, the Flash does not display the movie that is supposed to show at the top nor the version box. Both of these say "Movie not loaded" if right-clicking where the Flash content should be.
Other web sites like the Sirius/XM Radio web player and school corporation on-line software which teachers use to input students' grades to the master server with just show up blank as well with the "Movie not loaded" message if you right click on these web sites as well.
I made sure Active-X filtering was disabled in the browser. I also went in to the security groups and made sure active-x was disabled in all 4 categories. I also tried running the Browser in un-protected mode. None of this made a difference. Also, Shockwave content is not disabled in add-ons.
Why would certain Flash movies be playing but then not others?

I just went back to the "about Flash Player" web site and the animation at the top as well as the version number displaying both worked.
However the other sites such as www.seriusxm.com/player and the school corporation student grade on-line thing requiring Flash Player still show up as blank with the "movie not loaded" error being displayed in the box when you right-click the Flash content box (where the Flash content should be showing up)
I have not made any changes. I also tried running in Compatibility view, no difference.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed

Images do not load for some sites

on a MacBook running 10.4.10
Some web pages, like yahoo.com, aol.com, myspace.com, etc... the text loads no problem but images fail to load. It strangely doesn't always happen though (just 99% of the time)
I honestly don't think it's an issue solely for Safari, as the same thing happens in FireFox. I don't think it's the network either, cuz I can load those same sites on my iBook running 10.4.10
I've tried PRAM and trashing prefs to no avail. Does anyone have a clue what will solve this?

I'd been stumped by this problem for at least two months. Other sites worked fine, but on Myspace the images and the music player wouldn't load. I entered the DNS addresses and everything works now. Thanks again.

Images and formatting not loading for certain sites

I've noticed problems with some websites not loading images or page formatting. These sites have worked in the past.
Two examples:
www.theoatmeal.com -- site will not load any images (.pngs and .jpgs). I've checked the recommended solutions for images not displaying and have run through all except resetting Firefox to factory settings.
www.patheos.com -- site displays only basic text on a white background. It does display images however (.jpgs). It also displays a message at the top of the screen that I am running an outdated version of Internet Explorer.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

Did you check for any image exceptions?
You can try to use "Clear Recent History" to clear all "Site Preferences"

Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref should be 1.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

"Sharepoint 2007 OTB "Alert Me" not working for some sites"

Hello All,
We are facing some problem with sharepoint OTB "Alert Me" functionality. When someone subscribes themselves to a list/library they recieve the first email telling them that you've been signed up for alerts. However, when any changes
are made to the list or library users are not receiving email alert about the update. This is not happeing on all sites. We are noticing this behaviour only on certain sites. Working and Non-working site collections are residing on the same web app.
We have checked below things from our side
1. SMTP and Timer service is running on 2 WFE servers
2. "Immediate Alerts" Timer Job is running as usual.
Please share your comments on the same.

Check the date and time in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.
Check out why the site is untrusted and click "Technical Details to expand this section.<br>If the certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided (sec_error_unknown_issuer) then see if you can install this intermediate certificate from another source.
You can retrieve the certificate and check details like who issued certificates and expiration dates of certificates.
*Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
*Click the "View..." button and inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer of the certificate.
You can see more Details like intermediate certificates that are used in the Details pane.
If "I Understand the Risks" is missing then this page may be opened in an (i)frame and in that case try the right-click context menu and use "This Frame: Open Frame in New Tab".
*Note that some firewalls monitor (secure) connections and that programs like Sendori or FiddlerRoot can intercept connections and send their own certificate instead of the website's certificate.
*Note that it is not recommended to add a permanent exception in cases like this, so only use it to inspect the certificate.

I am repeating the question that RHM submitted...has anyone found a solution to this issue...Applet com.pogo.client.jvmtest.applet started. I was not having a problem and then out of no where on Sept. 13 my game rooms failed to load and this message started appearing. I have done everything asked of me to clear files both Internet and Java, to uninstall, re-install, etc...nothing works. Does anyone have an answer for a very non technical user?

Pages not loading on some sites

When I am on some web sites and click on a link the pages just don't want to load. The blue line runs across the top as if its going to but nothing happens and I am seeing a blank page. When I use my pc to view the same sites it works perfectly. Can anyone help?

Webfonts are not loading for certain sites (407 Proxy Authentication Required)

I'm running into an issue with CSS web fonts: They often don't load.
This happens in both FF4RC and the latest FF3.6. I'm behind a proxy (an ISA server I believe), and everything is set up correctly (as far as I can tell) in about:config.
Today I tried the [https://mozillademos.org/demos/runfield/demo.html Runfield demo]. Everything except the fonts (using google fonts api) loads and the game runs fine. Other browsers load the page (including fonts) without any problems.
A quick look in Firebug reveals that the proxy is returning "407 Proxy Authentication Required", but only for the font files. Everything else on the page is loaded correctly. Again, other browsers on the same machine (e.g. Chrome, IE9, Opera 11) load the font files without issue.
What's more, if I grab the URL and load it directly, it works fine, downloading the .woff file without issue.
This happens with the Google Fonts API, but I'm also seeing the problem on FontFonter.com and FontDeck.com.
However, Typekit.com works fine and so do the webfonts on this page.
(I've tried restarting Firefox without add-ons and it makes no difference.)

Registering a computer on a bank account does not work on some sites. I continually get asked to register the computer

Logging in to several financal sites (most work ok) results in a message stating that the computer is not recognzed and asks a security question if I wish to continue and want to register this computer (as opposed using a public computer) . The next time around, after registering the computer, I get asked the same thing. Seems like the Adobe flash stuff is not sticking for some sites. Any solution ?

Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server

Hello,
I have been asked to create a test enviroment identical to the production enviroment. So, what I did was:
Backed up the production web application's content database: Prod_WSS_ContentDB
Created new test servers (domain controller, sql server and sharepoint 2013 server) in a new, completely isolated, network environment, without any connection with the production environment (specifically Azure)
Created a new web application in test environment with a new content database.
Dismounted the new content database with powershell: Dismount-spcontentdatabase Test_WSS_Content
Copy the Prod_WSS_ContentDB database to the test sql server and restored it with Management Studio.
Mount the Prod_WSS_ContentDB databe to the web application with powershell:
Mount-spcontentdatabse Prod_WSS_ContentDB -WebApplication http://testsp/
Then, when I type http://testsp in the browser it redirects me to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
and the site loads exactly as the production environment.
But, after some minutes, or if I restart the Sharepoint Server, when I navigate to
http://sitesp I am redirected to http://testsp/SitePages/Home.aspx
as expected, but the site does not load, the browser just show a complety blank page.
The Central Administration site loads normally.
Trying to fix it I found that if I dismount the content database Prod_WSS_ContentDB, then mount the test database Test_WSS_Content,
then navigate to the site, dismount Test_WSS_Content and finally mount again Prod_WSS_ContentDB, the site loads normally, no blank page, but after some minutes or if I restart the same happens again.
For the error event I receice in event viewer it seems that the problem is related to database. I have not found a solution for this error... How can I solve this?

According to your post, my understanding is that Site does not load after some minutes of creation or after restart the server.
Please make sure you create a test environment for existing production site correctly.

"movie not loaded" problem Flash 11.1.102.55 (IE9 32&64 & Chrome) on all websites

I have not been able to get the Flash Player 11.1.102.55 working under Windows7/64 on my desktop on any website including Adobe's. I get a blank window, and when I R-click get the greyed msg "movie not loaded" and the ver number of Flash. I have uninstalled it using 'uninstall_flash_player_64bit.exe' and cleaned the registry and installed it, over and over, cleared all browser history, cookies and cache. Reinstalled browsers. The only way I can sometimes get it to work is to change the URL to httpS instead of http. This works on youtube and on adobe site, but not very many other sites as they wont reply to https. Tried a older ver 10 of Flash, no difference. I do not have this problem on my Windows7/64 laptop running through same network connection here at home. Any ideas would be much appreciated! I have been fighting this problem for many weeks....

My Problem is the following:
A flash animation with Firefox browser (16.0.1 currently latest version-1) , Flash version 11.4.402.287 (currently latest version) shows a flash animation using XML data to display points on a map as a black (my colleague gets a white) rectangle and a "movie not loaded" message with RMB.
Other Collegues with Firefox 11.0 and Flash 11.2.202.235 have no problem, the site is working as it should (and has been working for now several years).
Further testing with Safari, Chrome and ie did work as expected. What is more notable is that Safari is also using Flash version 11.4.402.287.
OS: Windows 7 64 bit.

You can try a direct connection and select No Proxy in the connection settings.
You can find the connection settings in "Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection"
Also do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.<br />
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.<br />

"Movie not loaded..." swf error on html

I have a problem when i export a swf and html in flash, because when i upload it to my server and try it online i get the message "Movie not loaded..." when i click in a blank window where it should have played.
In the activity window i can see that everything is loaded (such as the AC_RunActiveContent.js file) and i know that my server is configured to swf and flv in MIME types.

When it opens the menu buttons should appear immediately such as small animation in loop and the file should load fast because is less than 400Kb.
Well, the swf loads images and texts from xml files and also some tween animations in a folder. It seems everything is uploaded with the right path (i´m going to confirm that some more times).
But also the site index with an .flv animation and 2 flash buttons without any external linkage isn´t appearing at http://www.dscdesign.org/

Dw Templates - .dwt.php & Movie not loaded

Hi,
I'm in the middle of converting an existing website to .dwt for use with Contribute. All is going well, I have my editable regions working and my templates folder in the correct place.
I've run into a few problems, the primary one being Flash.
Dw is saving the templates as filename.dwt.php. They do function as you'd expect .dwt to function, but I can't find a reason for it doing this. Is this because they need to be .php files themselves to correctly use the code, or is this a setting I have somewhere? I've searched but I can't see details on this. Will this cause problems?
Dw would connect to the root domain, but not to the host directory (not the first time it has happened, I swear it doesn't like me). I've double checked permissions and logins, but it keeps throwing a permissions/directory doesn't exist error. This is not a problem as such as I can browse to it from the root, but I thought it may have some impact on the following problem. It is definitely affecting the check in/check out functionality, but for setup this is tolerable. If anyone knows reasons why or how to fix it, I'd love to know.
I had the files running on a local WAMP server. The template is *perfect*, exactly what I want the page/s based on it to look like. (Dw does throw a notification about placing editable regions inside a block level element and that meaning that users cannot create new blocks, which is fine by me, but might have some bearing?). In uneditable regions of the template there are two separate .swf files. When I view the template page, the files are visible and play as they are supposed to. When I view the page created from this template on the WAMP server, these areas collapse. When I view this page on the live test server, the areas are the correct size, but the movies do not play. A right click shows a greyed out notification of "movie not loaded". The page source shows that the links are relative and pointing to the correct place. The spry assets on the same page do load, all the other links work (relative), and I have checked that the .swf files are indeed on the server, working, and in the correct location. What could be causing the template-based page to malfunction like this? Am I missing something simple?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. This is my first time converting to templates and trying to get a site ready for Contribute and I would like to get a better understanding of why it is doing what it is doing. I've been going around in circles for hours and could really use a couple more heads on the matter.
